Karolina New York; it's been a scorching day in the city, but as the sun begins to dip below the tallest skyscrapers and shade starts to coat some of the streets in velvet shades an odd sight might be caught by the observant. There's a rainbow, in the sky. A person-shaped rainbow with a contrail of iridescent light. A person-shaped rainbow that alights in the alleyway between two buildings to set down a small boy.

"There, right?" asks the woman in a vaguely Californian accent, receiving a shy little nod from the child.

"Go on then... she's going to be worried sick about you. And be careful next time, which bus you get on!" offered as she shoos him away.
Ghost Yet the flying rainbow and the boy were not the only people in the alley - though only the pair were visible. The third were, for the moment, invisible. It watched the boy run away, yet hesitated for a moment or two.

Yet the rainbow would undoubtedly not stay for long, and so the figure took a deep breath - despite not needing or being able to breathe - and briefly made sure it was not standing in something. Being stuck would be an awkward introduction.

Then, soundlessly, the metal figure appeared out of empty air. It was time for a first meeting with a hero.

"Greetings" The word came after merely a moment's hesitation, and the metal figure raised a hand to try and mimic the words with a gesture.
Karolina "Oh!" is the noise Karolina makes, unintentionally departing the ground even as she turns around, hands clasping before her and eyes wide until she see's who (what) has appeared, and a too white smile appears on her face,"Hello there! I'm sorry... I didn't mean to invade your space." there's the drift of her in an invisible air, tendrils of the cosmic energy radiating from her slipping out as she wafts closer,"What's your name?"
Ghost Ghost smiles, or at least what can pass as a smile. The face didn't have that many expressions.

"You did not invade anything. I was just in the area. I wished to say hello. I am... you may call me Ghost. Who are you?"
Karolina "Sometimes they call me 'Lucy in the Sky'." Karolina offers, flittering about lazily with that bright smile still a point of white in the shimmering, shifting corona of rainbow,"After the old song. By the Beatles? It's lovely to meet you Ghost. Are you one of the local heroes then?" her attention flits off towards the end of the alleyway and then back,"We might want to move. Can you fly?"
Ghost The metal figure shakes its head in answer, declining ever having heard that particular song. Or perhaps decliding having heard of the Beatles in general, who can tell.

"I am... not a hero, at least not yet" She gives another smile, followed by another shake of the head "I can't fly. But I can meet you somewhere, if you need to move away from here"
Karolina "Oh you should. It was one of my parents favorites." Karolina enthuses,"And that's okay... I'm sort-of only kinda a hero? I guess? I just came back... anyways. And it's okay, I can take you!" she doesn't grab Ghost because, well, that would be rude, but she does float another foot up and open her hands in delight,"Come on. Promise I wont drop you?" she offers.
Ghost The metal figure hesitates for another moment at that offer, then finally nods and... doesn't know how to continue from there. Reaches up with a hand, though the body-language of uncertainty should be relatively easy to read.

"If I am not too heavy..."
Karolina While Karolina does reach out with her hand, it's actually the corona of light that envelops Ghost's metal figure to help lift her from the ground,"I used to carry more people, don't worry. As long as we don't lose the sun it's fine." she assures, taking it slow and easy as she raises them from the alleyway,"People can get a little strange sometimes... sometimes they're happy to see us, and sometimes they're not. So why do you call yourself Ghost? Not that it's a bad name! But look at you... that's amazing... did you make that suit yourself?" she chatters amiably as they rise.
Ghost The figure tilts its head at that statement - how would one lose the sun? Oh well, a question to be answered another time. Or perhaps just a bit later, if nothing else.

"It is not a suit. I was designated Ghost. It is for the abilities I have. Passing through walls" Ghost gestures towards a nearby building, though keeps it at that for now.
Karolina "Ooooh... so you're a robot, then? No, I'm sorry... an artificial intelligence?" Karolina guesses,"But how do you pass through walls withs so much metal?" she waits until they're above the surrounding buildings and then takes off in a lazy loop out over the water, seeking sun and high places for the moment at least for all that she's not in a hurry,"I'm sorry, that's really nosy, isn't it? You don't have to answer if you don't want to. It's just nice to have someone to talk to who is different."
