Remy LeBeau The game is one of those things that if you can't just show up to. You have to be invited, and even then the $20,000 buy in is hardly an easy threshold to get past. So who is invited? Well it's an eclectic bunch. villians, miscrieants, crime bosses and near-do-wells naturally. Remy smirks as he passes an envelope of cash over to the man at the door who hands him the stack of chips.
Berri A little strut to her walk Berri moves to enter the game. Sure she wasn't considered a 'supervillain' herself, but that was the point. Better to sit at the table then to have to cook every meal.

With her parasol tucked over one shoulder, the girl with the pink and brown hair claims her own chips.

She looked young, very young to be around such a crowd... but that just added to the eerie air of Berri as she made her way to a seat.
Remy LeBeau And they aren't all super villain's here. Business tycoons, Politicians, Hollywood celebrities... okay they are pretty much all supervillains... Remy smirks as the young girl takes the seat next to him and nods slightly. If he is put off by the girl's age or gender at the table he doesn't seem to show it. "Gentlemen," an nod to Berri. "Lady. Shall we get started?"
Berri Silence from the girl, the telepathic criminal didn't tend to to advertise her powers, as far as most people knew the silent woman was merely spookily capable. She was already reading how much most might be thinking of her.

It would only work to her benefit after all.

Lazily nodding, Berri gestures for the cards to be dealt, her blind offered.
Remy LeBeau Remy LeBeau might be a bit of an Enigma for the girl, since even the most powerful telepaths on the planet usually find it nessicary to "Aim in his general direction and yell" When it comes to him. He's like a Telepathinc Ghost. He cuts the cards the dealer offers and then peeks at his hole cards. Shrugging he tosses in a few chips. "Gotta love a nice quiet game non?" he says smirking.
Berri One didn't have to be an expert in poker if she could borrow thoughts from those around her, and that usual 'blank and innocent' expression she could default to when wanting to unnerve people could serve quite fine as a poker face.

Remy's 'radio silence' however? That's...curious, enough that she tilts her head his way while casually calling the first raise.
Remy LeBeau Remy LeBeau smirks slightly, and gives Berri a bit of a sideways glance. Maybe he somehow detected her probe? Either way he looks comfortable as the first rounds of betting go by and the flop is revealed.
Berri Knowing how to read one's thoughts might let her know when things are less likely to go her way...but that wouldn't help her win on its own. There was an element of luck...and she couldn't be seen winning -every- hand or someone might catch on.

Still, it took a good balancing act to make sure the hands she was winning was better than the small 'stumbles'.

Another stare, another tilt of her head, there's a question in her eyes unspoken, but what it was? Well, that might be the mystery!
Remy LeBeau Remy LeBeau grins slightly at the attention from the girl, his own eyes seeming to hold no small amount of mysterious mischeviousness as well. As the turn and the river are revealed most everone at the table has bailed out and Remy tosses in another $500. Ah like a quiet girl. Man should alwaays 'ave ta wonder what a girl is t'inking. Keeps de game interesting.
Berri She smirks at that, at shrug of her shoulders as she calls the bet. She was staring still, her solitary blink slow and deliberate before she lifts her hands in a quick series of movements.

Sign language, but she doubted most would understand it. It was less common than she'd like, and often Berri ended up having to play a little charades...or write things down.
Remy LeBeau Remy tilts his head slightly and glances over at her. Then his fingers move in a slow diliberate pattern. "L-E-T-T-E-R-S. N-O-T. G-O-O-D. L-E-R-N. I-N.S-C-O-T-S." he signs back... His spelling bad and the signs far from perfect. Still it's something and he is at least putting in an effort.
