Chloe Harper Chloe was out cold for hours. When she woke up, she was going a little stir crazy. With the knowledge that it will be a very long time before she could meet with her mom, She is still dealing with that knowledge. Still, A part of her is missing. Left back at the compound. Now she needs to replace that part. Temporarily borrowing a knife that likely belongs to Sarah, She snuck out into the night and hopped on a bus.

The bus has lead her to a park in Metropolis. Already she is out and exploring. "Okay, First, trees." Her vision adjusts quickly to the darkness and then, its a simple walk towards the trees.

She sighs softly, "Wish I could make this look fake but... lets do it." She quicky climbs the tree. "Sorry tree. I need this." Without holding back, She slams her fist into a very strong limb. It snaps and drops with her landing on top of it.
Angel     The Vampire with a Soul, Angel is scouring the city for clues from the last incident of demonic possession that he was currently investigating. His investigation led him to this section of the city, which was strange. The darkness was his friend, as Angel stays within it's cool embrace, hiding him from prying eyes.

Angel's eyes scan the area, taking everything in. His senses on overdrive, Angel senses something. Then he hears it. The loud "crack!" and crash...and a voice. Moving forward as silent as he could, Angel sees the woman near the broken tree, on top of the tree branch. Now that was something.
Spiral Walking within the shadows a white haired woman steps down the side walk, her many limbs hidden within a hoodie and seeming to be distracted with a pair of white stringed ear buds rising up from her neck line and hidding beneath her hair.

She lifts her right hand up and pops the ear bud out and looks over to the park as the loud crack sounds out from the park. Spiral's mind thinks something interesting must be going on so she's going to go find out.

The anti-mutant, mutant woman doesn't bother sneaking up and just approaches the scene. "What are you breaking old trees for?" She says, her glowing eyes locked onto Chloe and demanding an answer though her hands are burried in the front pocket of her dark brown top.
Chloe Harper Chloe Sighs, "Me? Oh I was just resting and the tree broke." She shrugs a little. Damn. Too loud. Way too loud. If she wasn't so damn strong she wouldn't have to use a stronger part of the tree. What else could she do?

She sighs and looks at the woman whose eyes are glowing. "Listen, I don't want any trouble. I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time." Her gaze shifts. Looking around for anything out of place. There is something she fears. Something much worse then the bothered mutant.

She sighs and shakes her head. "I think it might be a good idea for me to go..." She trails off.
Angel     Now that the new arrival, well, arrives, Angel's interest is piqued. There was something about her, this new arrival, and the previous woman. Angel frowns. "Something about them both..." Angel tries to move a bit closer without revealing his location, hoping that the shadows in and around the area was concealing him adequately enough. His hands remain empty, but twitch as though wanting to move to his concealed weapons.

As the first woman moves to leave, Angel regards her, and the new arrival with curiousity. However, in this case, discretion is the right tactic, and he watches, ready to leap out if he was needed.
Spiral "You were resting. In the tree?" Spiral says, looking down at the thick branch on the ground and then back up towards the odd woman who's starting to walk away.

Spiral doesn't noitce the vampire not too far off but she shrugs her enhanced shoulders with a scoff and moves to put her ear buds back in. "This girl is very odd. Holding a knife, sleeping in trees, leaving just when someone walks up to her." Spiral says to herself before it clicks. "HEY STOP! What're you hiding!?" That's the slow and some what crappy powers of deduction that the six armed witch possesses.
Chloe Harper Chloe is quickly interrupted from her departure. Her gaze goes down. The knife is in her belt. Not her hand. She stops and shakes her head. "Please. I'm hiding nothing. I just want to go. I don't want any trouble." She puts more emphasis on that last sentence. Finally she turns. Her coral pink eyes catching the light and glistening. "I'm not a threat to anyone at this time. I'm just a homeless girl trying rest for the evening." Its a half truth. Enough truth in it to make it seem true.

She does hear someone or something moving in the shadows. Its not something she lets on about. After all, right now, the important thing is to make sure she doesn't have anyone around her that might be more interested in taking her back then to just be curious.
Angel     Angel watches the interchange with interest, staying in the shadows. This was kind of out of character for him, as he was usually one to charge into the situation "where Angel's fear to tread" so to speak. Wait...was that...six? When the woman reveals that she has six arms under her clothes, Angel blinks, and prepares to move forward. The "tree" girl may be in trouble from this demon. A demon he was unfamilair with, but obviously a demon. He thinks.

Angel moves forward, out of the shadows. With a charming smile, and his arms held wide, Angel says, "Ladies. Is everything okay here? I thought I'd come over, see if everything was okay." His eyes go from one of the girls to the next, lingering on Spiral for the longest.
Spiral "This, vagrant, is here cutting thick branches with a simple kitchen knife! And she claims she's not a threat." Spiral says accusatory towards Chloe. Then, with a quick motion she moves in close to the girl and sniffs at her. Her voice dropping in volume to a low whisper. "You would be great fun. Ever thought about being a star, being powerful?"

She gives a glance towards Angel with her golden eyes and then leans back away from Chloe and in a perky cheerleader-esque voice. "Everything's peachy!"
Angel     "Okay, as long as everything is okay here." Angel keeps his eyes on Spiral, and says, "I'm sure the branch was ready to fall. It doesn't look cut to me." Angel nods, "Now leave the little girl alone. Maybe you and I should have a chat. Just you and I." Angel moves closer, to stand between Spiral and Chloe. "After all...looks like the odds would be six to two." Angel keeps his smile on, but his eyes are ready for action.

Then, with a flash, Spiral disappears. "Strange." Angel relaxes and looks to Chloe. "I think she was a demon, and she was ready to take you. Are you okay? I'm Angel." Angel pulls out his business card, and hands it to Chloe. "If anything else happens to you that is strange, or you need my help, give me a call." With that, a quick nod, and a flutter of his trench coat, Angel is gone almost instantly, his vampiric gifts giving speed to his legs.
