Owner Pose
Hunori Most people tended to hustle pool, the classic tag of the daring and clever in a dive bars and similar. Hunni...prefered her current approach, and it very much didn't require her transformation. After all, before she'd been a heroine? She'd been a professional gamer, and she hadn't simply stuck to the title of her E-sports team.

A light sweat worked up on her skin, there was a little whoop of victory as she claimed yet another victim, tucking the gambled twenty bucks into her top as the other patron she'd bet double or nothing after switching from DDR to Street Fighter looked in utter disbelief at the annihilation she'd just sicked on him.

Draining some of her drink via her straw, she glanced back over the others hanging around the arcade machine. Most had probably decided to keep their distance, but hey! She'd already paid for her meal!
Kit Killovarras It's the brave or the stupid who would walk up to that and greet the victor like a friend, so which is the creature that has recently walked in?

Kit walks right on over, having seen and heard the telltale sounds of victory won over some unsuspecting fool of a gamer and now? He comes over, giving a little grin as he asks, "How many meals have you made some other poor sap pay for like that?" with a curious tone.

The yeen isn't wearing his normal hoodie tonight, nor his baggy pants, but rather a tan tunic and darker brown pants and that's about it! He's not hiding who or what he is, which obviously gets a few people staring, some probably even considering running at the sight of him, but it doesn't seem to bother him at the moment.
Hunori "Today?"

Hunni's answer was given quite lazily, a little grin on her lips as she took another sip, grinning brightly at the apparent mutant who she had come to recognize pretty readily now. As many funny looks as he might get? Well, Hunori was hardly finding herself feeling socially akward at the moment high on her victory and getting to indulge in her hobby that she'd literally turned into a job.

Her own hoodie was absent, but the spaggetti-strapped top she wore still carried the obnoxiously bright pink others might recognize if they knew her. "I could probably play for yours too, if you like."
Kit Killovarras Kit just shakes his head and gives a little grin, "Nah, I'm good. My parents keep me pretty well stocked and with a fairly useful 'allowance' in exchange for me not getting into too much trouble." This from the individual who she's seen more than once in some kind of vigilante role, cutting people up and then mending their wounds with magic.

There's a momentary glance around at the various cabinets and games and the yeen just sort of tilts his head a bit before he muses. "Never really played these things before coming to the states, but they've grown on me honestly."
Hunori "Really? Turning down free pizza?" Hunni muses, taking her drink to her hands and then tossing it towards a nearby trashcan. Managing to land it precisely enough that one might consider challenging her to ski-ball equally dangerous, the korean girl tilts her head. "Are you feeling alright?"

Of course, she was hardly going to judge him for the vigilante thing, after all, the mutant knew her secret and had seen her transformed self and what she'd gotten up to.
Kit Killovarras The crack about free pizza gets the Aardwolf to chuckle and even smile a bit, when she asks if he's alright? Yeah, reading teenagers can be pretty easy to do, especially when their expression shifts from happy to .. Well, something else, that fast. "Yeah," he says after a moment, giving another quiet chuckle, "I'm just dealing with some things, I'm fine though."

The well-placed shot gets the yeens attention as he watches the cup sail, hitting it's mark with a fair level of skill, though he does eventually mention, "Speaking of food though, I /am/ starving, been a few hours since I ate, so I'm gonna grab a pizza." He turns towards the front, taking a moment to look over his shoulder at Hunori before asking, "Care to join me?"
Hunori Hunni was still technically a teenager herself after all, even if she'd been talking about his refusal of pizza offered by her rather than his general state. Of course she noticed it, making to lazily walk his way and fishing for the note from before where she'd tucked it away and offering it out to him. "I'll find some seats, extra pepperoni and cheese please."

A beat, her gaze drops towards the cash she'd pulled from her top and then she shrugs as she gestures to her attire. "The pockets on these shorts are crap," she offers in explaination before grabbing his furred hand and slapping the note into his grasp. "Hurry up, I worked up an appetite whupping that guy's butt."
Kit Killovarras Kit just chuckles and nods, heading over to make their orders, one of which actually gets a weird look from the guy taking the order before the man just shrugs. Kit eventually pulls a little black bag out of his pocket and hands it to the man behind the counter, then pays him with the cash he was handed, plus a couple more bills from his own pocket.

Eventually though, he's given two trays, one an obvious pepperoni and cheese, extra of both, but the other one? It's a strange mix, Canadian bacon, pineapple, peppers of some kind.. But the cheese looks a little, lumpy. Regardless though, he starts walking over, the trays literally hovering along on either side of him.
Hunori Unaware of the bag offered and whatever it might contain, Hunni drops herself at one of the tables and begins to wait for the food she'd ordered by proxy. Closing her eyes, the young woman grins to herself at the recollection of the other teen's expression at her victory. Spotting Kit approaching she leans back, waiting for her food to be placed in front of her before glancing at his.

She probably shouldn't judge, after all many of her preferred dishes weren't 'normal' in the States.
Kit Killovarras The yeen sets the food down, Hunori's first, then his own as he finds a place to sit, being careful not to sit on his tail. "So, which ones are you top two?" he asks, his voice loud enough to be heard across the table, but not loud enough to carry much further than that.

While he waits for an answer, regardless of how little or how long that would take, the yeen grabs a slice of his own strange concoction, folds it in half and takes a bite, wolfing down the first slice in just four bites. Did he mention he was hungry?
Hunori The question brings a pause, mostly because she'd quite quickly taken a bite for herself of her pizza when she found her mouth too full to answer. A raise of her hand, she gestures her hand towards the DDR machine, clear indication of it being her favorite when she doesn't actually point to a second one and instead continuing her devouring that might be impressive if the aardwolf wasn't sitting across from her.

"I'm pretty good at most things. Spent a lot of my time playing with machines like this back home, used to actually have a couple of those classic cabinets in my room back in Seoul."

A beat, she chuckles, shrugging her shoulders. "My parents were pretty supportive."
Kit Killovarras After killing off a slice fairly quickly, Kit gives a look to where Hunori had motioned and gives a little nod, "Seems fun actually, dunno how well I'd do at it though." He gives a little grin and adds, "Two left paws, sadly." is ears perk forward a little and he just sort of has a moment of 'woah' when she mentioned having had a few cabinets in her room when she was younger.

He gives a little chuckle after a moment, picking up another slice with a little nod and a, "Well I mean, that's good. Having supportive parents kinda helps with most things." before continuing to nom.
Hunori "I made a living playing videogames and a little merch while I was only 16," she begins, shrugging her shoulders. "The E-sports stuff is pretty big in Korea and since I still did fine in school..." she trails off, grinning a little. "Of course, it might be harder to convince them of my new 'side gig'..."

Another pause, she exhales a breath and looks to kit. "What about you? What do you do besides just sort of...turn up in places in the middle of the night?"
Kit Killovarras "Well," Kit pauses in his nomming of food for a moment, almost like he's trying to think of how to explain what he is and what he does.. Could he explain it as a 'normal life'? Probably not. Eventually he just says, "I'm a student.."

Yes! Because that's actually the truth! He's a student! At a school where he's actually not the strangest person there, or where it's not unusual for the school to be blown up or attacked by the government! But, he can't actually say any of that now, can he?

"So, aside from my normal studies, I study magic as well." Also not a lie! But it does make him sound moderately crazy.
Hunori It would probably sound crazier a few months ago, before the fact that she herself had become basically visual example of a typical magical girl, and she hadn't even got a talking animal companion out of it! Still, she tilts her head to the side at that. "Where can you actually manage to learn magic? Is there like...a wizards tower or a secret temple or something?"

A pause, there's a sudden look of excitement. "Oh! Is it with the guy with the cape? I met him once."
Kit Killovarras Well, testing the waters with a bit of himself has proven rather successful, so when Hunori asks where one could learn magic? His ears perk up a little and he admits, "Actually.. I, come from a fairly long line of Magi. My family has a library with a couple thousand years worth of texts from various parts of the world." Then the excited look and the question about the... guy with the cape? Kit just looks confused for a moment before he shakes his head, "Don't think I've ever met someone with a cape.. At least, not normally? I mean, there are a couple relics I've heard of that would count as capes, so I guess there could be a sorcerer who wears one.."

There's a little shrug after a moment and another slice is picked up with a thoughtful smile. "Sorcery isn't my field of expertise though. I mostly study things like the Grand Arcanum."
Hunori "There's like this Sorcerer, doctor guy? He's got a cape and..." she trails off, shrugging her shoulders lightly and then giving a little laugh. "I have...no idea what the Grand Arcanum is. I mean, I think I've heard of something like that in a video game or something but...I mean, I just turn into a glowy girl in a dress who can lift a car over her head. It didn't really come with a tutorial."
Kit Killovarras Kit kills off the slice he'd grabbed rather quickly, then gets up and walks over to the counter, grabbing an empty cup having asked for a cup for water, then goes back to the table and sits down, holding the cup up. "The Grand Arcanum is a series of texts that outline most of the schools of magic. That in and of itself would be hard to start explaining, but I can explain the part of it that I study." Then, the cup gets a quick tear down one side.

"The magic I was born with pulls from various other dimensions through refraction, reflection and refocusing of multiversal energies.." And this? This is normally where people start to realize just how much of a nerd this tall, skinny creature can be. He does however give a bit of a demonstration, holding out his arm to show Hunori the sudden crackling of violet energy that crawls down his arm to the tips of his claws. Then he sort of 'paints' the energy onto the torn edges of the cup, causing the torn bits of paper and even the wax coating to start to fuse back together. "In a nut-shell, I pull energy from other realities and focus it through my body to create various effects."
Hunori Her own second slice quick to follow even if it wasn't quite as quick as Kits, Hunni nods her head with a little 'hmm' muffled by food. Of course it was quite hard to know if she actually understood what he was saying or simply is playing the part.

Then he offers the demonstration and her eyes widen before looking around quickly. If they hadn't drawn eyes before, that glowing energy was probably going to earn a look or two.
Kit Killovarras Yup, the Aardwolf could go on for hours about this particular topic if you let him, but as he's about to start explaining further, a quiet chime gets his attention and he pulls out his phone, giving a little sigh as his ears fold back a little. "Crap," he murmurs to himself, then offers Hunori an almost apologetic smile. "I have to get back to campus, forgot I had a few tests today." He stands up, goes to grab a box for the remainder of his own pizza and boxes it up as he says, "It was good seeing you again, by the way? If you want to study some of the baselines for the Arcanum in a familiar medium? Read some of the unique texts in the College of Winterhold in skyrim. For a video game, they managed to get at least the basic premise of magic right, strangely enough." Well he did say video games were growing on him.

With the rest of his meal now boxed up though, the yeen gives one last smile and wave before he starts out, a bit more sway to his tail as he makes his way back onto the street.
