Remy LeBeau The Club doesn't have another name. If someone doesn't know what you are talking about, then likely they are too small time for a patron to worry about. It was invitation only, you had to be welcomed by an existing member to get in, but where professionals of peculiar acquisitions could speak freely with collogues without fear as to their words escaping to improper ears. Tonight? Tonight Remy is enjoying a night in one of the private poker rooms. Dressed in a tuxedo that would make him look almost unrecognizable to his fellow X-men he grins. "so Ah say, "Look, dis door is a Maques eight t'ousand. It 'as triple layer biometric locks. It 'as a safety glass panel dat if yah so much as crack will shoot t'ree inch steel bolts inta concreate. It woul' take a team of demo experts a week ta get it out." He tosses some chips into the pile as the dealer lays down the River. "So de Client like, "Yah mean yah can't get it open? An Ah say "Of course I can. But.. an' den Ah take tree steps ta de side and say "Dis /wall/ not'ing but drywall. Take a fire extinguisher and punch t'rough it."
Felicia Hardy Black Cat is sitting at the corner of the bar. Of course, since she does actually bother to keep her identity a secret for the most part, she's in full 'costume', the half unzipped black cat-suit, gloves, hair back in a pony-tail and a mask. Sure, it's not exactly black tie dress code fitting in with tuxedos - but who's going to tell one of New York's most famous thieves that she's got to dress up?
And to tell the truth, she looks like she's having a bit of a rough time. There's a tightness around the eyes, and a closeness to the way she sits at the bar nursing a drink, which says she's been a little stressed lately - her shoulders slumped over and leaned forward onto the bar with a thoughtful distant stare. Though she does turn around as she hears a somewhat famously recognizable accent - standing from the bar and heading over to the entrance to the poker room with a bit of uncharacteristic slowness, stepping into the door to look around the room.
Remy LeBeau The laughter at Remy's joke is perhaps a little augmented by the alchol being consumed. Marcus Tello, another thief though no where near Remy or Felicia's level raises, and Remy goes all in. Tello smirks slightly as he flips over his Ace Queen, which with the two queens and ace on the board give him a Full House. "Nice to finally see someone take you down Cajun." He says laughing and reaching for the chips... which is when Remy turns over his own Pocket Aces, giving him the higher full House. "It will be, but not tonight." He says amused. He nods to Felicia and says "Ah'm cashing out fellas." and stands. "Why 'ello dare chere. Long time no see. Fohgive de expression but yah look like somet'ing de cat drug in."
Felicia Hardy      Even tired and distracted seeming, Felicia's smile cracks across her face and she delivers the sort of wise-ass quip that most of the 'Spider-Verse' is famous for as she dead-pans "Cat puns. No wonder you're renowned for your quick-thinking under pressure." She shakes her head and takes a sip of her drink before saying, glancing back over at the table then to you, "I hope you didn't leave the game on my account, it looked like it was going well for you." And then crossing one arm under her chest and the other lifting her drink to her mouth she takes another sip with the look of someone thinking back through memories and saying, "Probably not since we helped take down the Silencers, right?"
Remy LeBeau Remy LeBeau smirks a little bit at the memory, "What c'n Ah say, Ah 'ate poachers." He glances back at the table. The dealer had finished counting his chips and hands him a check that he can cash out before he leaves. "An a beautiful woman always a good reason to stop playing games, non?" he asks playfully. "C'n Ah get yah a drink?"
Felicia Hardy      She nods her head, smirking slightly and teasing as she says, offering an arm out to let herself be lead back to the bar or wherever you might like to sit, "That's what people always tell me right before they leave a game to come buy me a drink." She fans herself with her free hand as if to demonstrate she's far too hot for this place, and then says, "Lead on Mr. LeBeau."
