Owner Pose
Samuel Guthrie Samuel Guthrie is out bright and early this morning. He had picked up an old classic WWII era motorcycle a while back, and while it is not his everyday ride he does ride it enough to make sure he has spare parts. He has heard a rumor about some old bikes here, and he might find some stuff for himself and some of the other project bikes at the school So he is pulling up in his truck to park, and get ready for a day of searching.
Sarah Connor Bright and early.

For Sarah there is no distinction between night and day. Sometimes she needs to slink around in the middle of the night. And sometimes she is up before the break of day. Today she needs a few things to beef up her truck. She prefers to keep what she needs out of the public eye, and before she resorts to underground chopshops, she prefers to check out the local junkyard herself.

Looking around, and checking the autos, she thinks that this time she'll be lucky!
Samuel Guthrie Samuel Guthrie has a toolbox with him, as he climbs out of the truck. He looks around the area, and starts to head towards the main area of the yard. He looks over at the other there and nods his head in greeting.
Sarah Connor Sarah gives a gruff greeting. She recognizes Sam - though not in this atmosphere.

"Funny to meet you here." Really, she hadn't made a guess, but now that she is confronted by him in the junkyard, she imagines there is a lot about him that she doesn't know. Perhaps she should be looking him up just in case! "Let me guess, you are looking for the perfect fender?"

She figures that was a reasonable guess. Everybody needs a fender, especially someone down at the junkyard.
Samuel Guthrie Samuel Guthrie smirks a bit and says "More engine parts for some old motorcycles." He offers in explanation "You out looking for something specific?" He will ask "Plan on pulling parts or having them do it?"
Sarah Connor "Always myself first." Afterall, Sarah had been a gun runner for years, and knew how to blow up just about anything, amongst other things. Perhaps she couldn't fix the newer cars, but the older ones? "Besides, today is really a look around day. Mostly seeing what they have."

Sure, she wondered, but she had every plan to leave here today with several of the fuses she needed - amongst other things. Mostly electronics. Small things. Things that could be hidden.

"Do you come here often?"
Samuel Guthrie Samuel Guthrie shakes his head a bit and says "Na, just heard about this place recently, when I rebuild my bike, had someone else outsourcing the parts, as we were doing a few different ones at once, was easier to order stuff in, or get one person to be the hunter for stuff.
Sarah Connor Sarah shakes her head. "That's about right. I mean if I had the money, I wouldn't be here." Which was a lie. No matter what her pocketbook said, she still would be in the junkyard to keep quiet. "So you got a motorcycle? I'm just looking out for my truck. Nothing important."
Samuel Guthrie Samuel Guthrie nods, and says "Yea was working with a school, and someone found a barn find of a crap ton of bikes, and a lot of the students were able to rebuild, and since I was helping I was able to pick out one also. Found an old classic, took a lot of work but I like it.
Sarah Connor That almost gets a smile from Sarah. "Really? Usually the kids are pretty good at that." Thinking of John. "What are you then? A substitute teacher then? I always thought I might be a good teacher in another life."

Then she surprises him with something of her past. "I have always been fascinated by science. Nuclear physics. I mean I wouldn't be quite enough to be one, but as a teacher? Perhaps."
Samuel Guthrie Samuel Guthrie looks over and says "Yea Ah have subbed a bit counseled a few of the students. Ah got a scholarship, and try to give back since Ah am still living in the same area.
Sarah Connor That earns him a second look. Damn, Sarah really needs to look him up. Or get John or Cameron to do it. "A scholarship? You mean for university? Or a private school?"
Samuel Guthrie Samuel Guthrie says, "Private school, they were wanting to diversify a bit and well, Ah aint your normal guy you expect to see in a private school in upstate new york for sure."
Sarah Connor No, he was not. But then again Sarah wouldn't have expected her life to turn out the way it did. "You're a good man, Sam." Better than she was! Then again her number one goal was to protect John. To that end, she had done many things that she regretted - and would do them again without question.
