Wally West	Quiet day. /Too quiet/. When you're someone like Kid Flash - AKA Wally West - wher ethe world feels like it's already at a crawl, when you have nothing to do? God, the boredom is /tangible/. In random blurs of red and yellow, Wally had already traversed the entirety of the city twice, saving at least five cats from trees, stopped a bank robbery by...what lookedl ike just angry teens with water squirters (hoping to run purely on intimidation) and managed to snag an old lady from the street before she was hit by a drunk driver. And there's STILL NOTHING TO DO. So he's decided to return to Titans Tower, dressed in casual clothes (lets be honest, pajamas) with a game controller in his hand that Cyborg made able to handle his speed. ...within reason. So, KF is just enjoying a time to himself - or trying to - but there's plenty that can happen between now and whenever he gets bored of video games.
Kara Danvers	While not nearly as fast as the Flash (any of them), Kara has had similar concerns with speeding around and finding very little to do with her time.. Concern for her cousin being foremost in her mind, he is in good hands being treated for injuries sustained during his fight with Bizarro.. So that left trying to occupy her time. Which was incredibly difficult to do. Which is why she's also at the tower. Though not nearly as dressed down as Wally, she's still wearing fairly simple clothing. A t-shirt and some yoga pants as she pads into the living area where Wally is playing video games. Balanced on one hand is a tray of food, a couple hotdogs, a couple sodas, a couple bags of chips. She deposits this down on the couch and crawls up into the cushion where her legs fold up beneath her with a sigh. "Hey." Glancing over to grab a hotdog. "Want a wiener?"
Wally West	In the amount of time it took for Kara to arrive into the room, Wally had maaged to nearly short-circuit his controller. "Oh c'mon!" Wally groans, leaning back on the couch. Yet, when he notices Kara is walking around, he's suddenly blurred to a standing position and before she looks at him, he looks up at his messier than messy mop of red hair on his head and he tries to straighten it out before he smiles. "Hi Kara." She asks him if he wants a wiener and he stifles any instinct to start busting up laughing, and instead he nods. "Yes please! Oooh, what kind of soda do you got?" For once, he's trying not to 'overflirt'. Which includes calling her things like 'babe' when they're not dating.
Kara Danvers	Kara sees a lot more of Wally's quick motion than anyone else might. It's like watching a video as fast forward as the human eye can track it, but she still does. Blue eyes moving a milisecond behind his blur of motion, with a grin curling the corners of her mouth when he musses his messy hair as soon as she walks in. It's cute... So's him trying not to laugh. So she holds up the tray of multiple hotdogs in his direction with a vast assortment of potatochips. "Mountain Dew. I heard you playing video games and I understand that's the number one choice." Her grin broadens a little. "Code Red. The clerk at the shop said ''this is what nerds drink''. I imediately knew she meant you." The way she says it, coupled with her grin, likely gives the indication she thinks that's a compliment.
Wally West	Was Wally cute? Who knows. She holds out that tray in his direction and he walks up to her, grabbing two hot dogs (one for each hand) and he manages to grab some Mountain Dew. "Nerd drink? I'm offended, madame." Wally chuckles softly, though he smiles at her all dork-like. "You look good today, you know." Then it's like he remembered she called him a nerd. "AND ANOTHER THING!" Wally starts to laugh, unable to maintain the facade of being angry with her for even the slightest of seconds. "Being a /nerd/ is /cool/. It's not like the early 2000's anymore. Nerdy is the new sexy." He takes a bite of the hot dog and it's like all of the humor goes away, along with the seriousness, replaced by deep satisfaction. "Mmmmm so good.:"
Kara Danvers	Kara is grinning, so she must think that he is, if not cute, at the very least amusing. Plus he shares a similar appetite to hers, so it makes for a fine snacking partner when she settles the tray back down on the couch to take one of the hotdogs in hand to take a bite. Nodding rapidly while she's chewing, she hides her mouth with the curve of her palm until she's swallowed, and grins, "Is nerd not a term of endearment? They told me what it meant and it seemed like something I think is very cool." Videogames, movies, comic books. Basically all of her friends. She settles back on the couch, folding her feet up, and finishes her hotdog only to wipe her fingers off on a napkin. "Okay, so I suppose it is not as flattering as I suspected... or maybe it is. I am confused. I thought I was giving you a compliment! Nerds are very sexy."
Wally West	Kara says a lot of things. But when she tells him that she was not only giving him a compliment, but that nerds are extremely sexy, Wally finds himself at a complete loss for words. "I...uh...w-wait, y-you think I-I'm..." FLUSTERED! Wally doesn't know what to do. It's not like they have a handbook for this! So what does he do? He answers with his casual Wally West: the flirt. "Well don't worry babe, a compliment was exactly what I took it is..." He tries to lean against the wall, but his hand misses and he trips, but he catches himself quickly. "It's /extremely/ flattering. But don't worry, I can help you master the english tongue.." WINK. God, he was terrible.
Kara Danvers	To be fair, Kara doesn't have a lot of experience with flirting. She's only been on earth a few years, after all. Most of that was learning to be a super hero. Sure, she's watched some television, but as Wally tosses his shot, she purses her lips. Hands on her hips staring at him as he both calls her 'babe' and offers to master the english 'tongue'... with the wink? She's fighting very hard not to giggle. Whether that's demeaning or just finding the whole thing incredibly amusing and, generally, endearing? That's up for him to decide. Her lips pucker and then pull back a little into a grin. "Is this a human joke? Are you joking? I know that friends sometimes tease each other with flirts, is that what you're doing right now?"
Wally West	Wally has LOTS of experience with flirting. He has ZERO experience with girls in general, though. It's a shame, probably because he doesn't know how to flirt properly. Though as she sets her hands on her hips, Wally seems to absolutely /fail/ before her once again. He keeps his full attention on her even though she looks like she's debating what to do... Hopefully, punching him in the face isn't on the menu! ABORT MISSION. Though she eventually grins and the internal panic of his heart beating faster than a speeding bullet seems to temporarily subside. "Y-yeah, but uhm...I was thinking it wasn't teasing." *thumpthump.* *Thumpthumpthumpthump* IT'S HAPPENING AGAIN! "How do Kryptonians flirt?"
Kara Danvers	The sound of Wally's heart is as clear to Kara as the sound of the facet dripping in the boys bathroom of the Tower, several stories above her. It's not even like she's trying to hear it, it's just a background noise that she usually filters out with high levels of concentration to keep her attention focused right here in the moment. The fact that Wally's heart can go over 200 BPM without even break a sweat, however? Her grin widens a bit. She knows enough about Earth flirting to know that means he's getting flustered. She shrugs a shoulder, "I suppose the same way as Earthlings, but a little more direct? If someone liked me, they would just tell me. Kryptonian's are very straight forward people, generally." Her head tilts curiously at him. "You didn't answer the question, Wally. Are you flirting with me or is this friends playing?"
Wally West	Wally's heart can beat FAST. But thankfully, he's not on an empty stomach so he's not at risk of spontaneously exploding. Kidding, he won't explode. He probably just can't run super fast until he has more food in him, if that happens. Yet, all the same, she seems to be amused at him. Is that a good thing? Fuck if he knows. But, she tells him that Kryptonians are /very/ blunt, to the point of being considerable forward, wasting very little time. When she tilts her head, Wally clears his throat and he stands up straight, walking towards her. Probably a little too close, all things considered. "I'm flirting with you and I'd really like to take you on a date sometime." Pause. Pregnant pause. FAMILY of pauses. "...did I do that right?"
Kara Danvers	Kara doesn't reach for another hotdog, but she wants another hotdog. They're sitting there looking so amazing. She just wants to put a wiener in her mouth. This joke has been brought to you by mandatory(tm). She grins at Wally, not necessarily taking pleasure in seeing him be very awkward... But maybe a little? It's not amusement at his expense. If anything, she seems to find it absolutely adorable as he struggles through what he's trying to ask. Especially once he finally gets it out. "Yes, you did very well." As if that's the end of it. This was just an exercise. She was teaching him how to flirt and nothing more. Standing entirely too close to one another, she just stares at him. "Oh. Yes, I would like to go on a date with you."
Wally West	"It's okay, I had a feeling you owuld say n-" Wally's eyes widen. "Wait, what?" BAFFLED! Wally looks at her as they stand close, his eyes looking deeply into her own. "T-that..." He clears his throat just a second, before he speaks again. "I'd really like that." Kryptonians are forward, right? So forward that they don't really hide what they want. Maybe Wally should get better about that? His eyes drift towards her lips briefly. "I...uh..." Maybe she was amused, or maybe she /really/ wanted a wiener in her mouth. "Can I kiss you?" STUPID. FUCKING. QUESTION.
