Owner Pose
Firestar Angelica is sitting on a lounge chair. She has on simple jeans and t-shirt, not really looking for sun so much as serenity. The lake is calm and Angelica is taking advantage doing the cool thing, reading. Maybe not the cool thing to most people, but she seems content.
Tabitha Smith It is a pretty big lake. The shore is expansive enough that it's not that difficult to hide or camp out not that it's difficult to spot a black and yellow Mitsubishi Delica from nineteen ninetytwo, converted to off road parked not far from the boat house amidst some of the bordering faoilage.

A blonde can be heard breaking any serenity that might be found by swearing as she seems to be off loading what looks like a motoprcycle from the roof racks with all the awkwardness of someone that might be strong, but dealing with something is very awkward ro move on one's own. The girl in clingy old bluejeans and a cropped green camoflague print. Old motorcyle boots on her feet as she half hangs down over the top of the van while the bike is left on the ground laying on it's side.
Firestar While intially she is trying to read, it is difficult to ignore the agitation that Tabby is suffering. Angelica glances up and seeing what she is up to tries to get up,"Hey wait." she calls a little too late.

She is on her feet when the bike comes down hard. A wince and Angelica says,"Hey. You hurt?" Not that Tabitha looks hurt really, but it's the sort of thing you say.

Crossing the distance, she winces at the sight of the bike hitting the ground. She slows once she can see Tabitha isn't bleeding or anything.
Tabitha Smith The blonde spies a familiar face in the form of Angelica and she smile up. "I'm fine. I'm just hoping the bike survived. It probably did. not like it's hitting anything at speed, it's just awkward." she states and does the mother of all inverted crunches to hoist herself back onto the racked roof of the Delica.

From there she can just jump down fine if a little awkwardly. Jubilee was always the agile one. "Didn't like disturb things or anything did I? I didn't really wanna park in the garage yet. So I figured out here is nice and cheap and free," she explains her presence.
Firestar Angelica raises a brow, watching the inverted crunch to the roof. She shakes her head and looks at the crashed bike again,"It probably looked worse than it was." she agrees. She looks back over where she was and shrugs,"Oh. It's a school and home to a lot of people. The idea of quiet is pretty much lost on the place."

She looks back to Tabitha,"I don't think anyone will care too much. Honestly most might even miss it in passing since everyone seems to be falling into summer break mode and are getting...how did Puck say it?" she muses thoughtfully,"...Ate up with don't care I think is what he said." Master of slang and metaphor she isn't.
Tabitha Smith A peak inside might show that clearly Tabitha has actually been living inthe van. At least being a seven seater it's got some space and comfort. "Hopefully maybe just maybe it'll be home again. Hopefully." Tabitha says with goofy expression as she picks the bike back up, she has to flex a lot all over but it's not that much of a challenge.

"Well, I figure summer should be a good adjustment. Figure out what I can offer the school. I hope they still ain't doing that you graduate you out, buh bye deal like when I was a kid. I can't even remember if I did graduate." she states and chuckles.
Firestar "They are pretty welcoming considering the first time I met most of the X-Men it was as one of the Hellions." Angelica comments with a shrug. If Tabitha lets her she will try to help her lift the bike up. Shaking her head she admits,"I think that's why I never took to riding. Not sure I could keep up up and going with that sort of weight."

"As for what you can offer. I don't know what your background is, but I know they hired me to teach, I have to figure that you could be able to teach something." she suggests,"I know a lot of the graduates are still around here and others have moved out to other places. I can't speak for Jean, but it doesn't seem to be too set in stone."
Tabitha Smith Tabitha nods her head, blonde hair left unbound so it just cascades down her shoulders. The van's side sliding door is opened so she can at least sit and keep her smile aimed up at the redhead. A large sports bag full of clothes on one of the back seats while her behind is planted on the floor of the vehicle so feet can be on the ground outside.

"I'm just nervous is all. I didn't do college after I left years ago. I got skills and stuff but no qualifications. Weren't the Hellion's Emma Frost's kids in Metropolis?" she asks and tries to recall as much as she can.
Firestar Moving a little closer to talk easier, but not stand over her Angelica listens to what Tabitha says. There is a smile at what she says and Angelica admits,"I was pretty scared, but for different reasons. I was with Emma back with the Hell Fire club between Metropolis and New York areas. It is hard to come to the place that was technically the adversary even if Jimmy and Emma are both here too. I didn't know about Jimmy. That was a weight off my shoulders and a relief to see him again."
Tabitha Smith "Think distancing ya selves from the club is probably the best thing you guys did." Tabitha says with a reassuring tone. "Not that any of us are perfect. Despite Monet's insistance. She still working here? I mean I won't say perfect but between you and me..." she says and hopes she's not in any telepathic range right now. "Woof!" she admits and half nibbles her lower lip.

"Anyway, if this place can give a kid like me a chance. When I was a kid. Hopefully I can help do the same. Even if it's like just well, trying to get out of chores and stuff. Show the kids how to goof off like a pro!"
Firestar "Yeah. Some things really went side ways and that's how I ended up with the Alpha Flight and their developmental teams." she agrees. She laughs softly and says,"We're not perfect?" The tease is clear in her tone.

A frowns as she considers Monet's name and shakes her head,"Well. I can't say I have met anyone by that name, but it's a big place." The woof comment does get a real laugh this time, maybe even a snort,"Tell me what you really think."

"Hopefully we'll both be able to help some of these kids." she agrees. A shake of her head and she adds,"You teach them the proper ways of goofing off and I'll teach them how to try to get back in the school's better graces afterwards."
Tabitha Smith "I know, you wouldn't think that looking at us! I mean we are super easy on the eyes." Tabby adds with a wink at Angelica before she goes on. There have actually been some checking out of the redhead.

"Monet stands out, Tall, fit, dark skin, she earns that woof. But she can be a bit much. But then most of us can. I'm not exactly that great an influence but at least I kinda learned some right and wrong. Right isn't always legal but sometimes legal is pretty awful too." she admits. "But helping each other is also like part of the whole thing. But I think that'll be up to like Jean and Scott."
Firestar The comment about easy on the eyes gets a wink,"I mean we can only do so much right?" While she is usually a bit more reserved, maybe Tabitha is a bad influence. Either way, she does seem to enjoy talking with her.

Considering the words about Monet, Angelica shakes her head,"I can't say she isn't here, but I can say I haven't met anyone that answers to that desciption yet." A nod and a serious tone,"You aren't wrong. Right isn't always legal and sometimes what is legal is questionable at best." Her phone buzzes and she looks at it.

There is a deep sigh and she says,"I can't wait for my college to start, but meeting with all the financial aid sorts and the advisors make the idea of going at Magneto almost appealing." She shakes her head and winks,"Anyway. It was good catching up with you. See you soon." She goes to collect her things and then head off to the city again.
