Warpath Emerging from his door, the very tall Native American known as James Proudstar, AKA Warpath, steps into the hallway. He seems as if he's in a slight rush as he doesn't even bother to look both ways before exiting or 'crossing the street'. In his movement, he turns as he exits, pulling the door shut. Currently, he's wearing hiking boots, denum/jeans, and a pull over black Tshirt that's tucked in beneath his belt. On the back of his belt, he has a set of crossed vibranium daggers that are held tightly to the belt itself in sheaths. His hair is down, loose, which may be another distraction since it's partially in his face.
Alice Alice has no idea why James is in a hurry, but there's still a little time before her cosplay club, and just to not stand in the way, she was waiting close to the entry of the teacher's wing, scribbling idly on a notepad as she leaned against the wall, quite close to the corner that hid the actual rooms from the pupils milling about just a little over. But as the sound of heavy boots came, Alice perked up, looking to Warpath, the head tilting as she spied the hilts of the daggers. "What's up? I didn't hear an evacuation alarm..."
Warpath James turns, spots Alice in the hallway and he smiles. His tone is welcoming, open and glad to see her, as he says, "Hey. No alarms.. I was just.." and he diverts the answer to something else. "What's going on? Lurking in the hallways, taking notes of people coming and going." It's offered in a teasing tone, though curious.
Alice Alice tilts the head, pointing to the daggers a moment. "You look awfully armed for nothing going on. I know, I never made combat certifications when I was studying, but I ain't dumb. As for me? Just killing time, and sketching some."

Turning the pad to show Warpath, it's a somewhat eery scene, trying to imitate the style of Sumi-E, the shadowy figure of a person on the right, seeming to melt into tendrils... or hair.
Warpath He'll peer to the revealed picture and scan the art. "Looks good. Though; somewhat frightening. I hope you don't have precognition as a power and that's something which will be attacking us next. Never been a fan of tendrils." He states, forgoing the initial part of the conversation. Best to focus on one topic at a time. He then queries, "You don't have precog, do you?"
Alice "Nah, if anything, I got postcognition, because that's inspired by some Anime about Yokai. That's supposed to be that one hair woman without a face. at least I think it is. Anyway..." Alice offers a smile as she folds the pad up. "Unless I learn how to animate picture or ink... I doubt."
Warpath There's a moment of thought as James ponders animation of polymers that Alice can control. "A polymer ink... that's a good idea for animation. Anyway, yeah. Hindsight is 20/20 for most of us. Or, at least those who learn from their mistakes."

He then looks down the hallway and back to her and offers a slight segue, "I did speak with Forge regarding tuning the danger room to applications regarding powers such as yours. He mentioned that reverting some of the aspects of the Danger Room to what it was originally is totally doable. Before holograms, they used robots and other real things. He said the modifications will be done within the month."
Alice "I can do Claymation already, using typical plymer clays, but that's still a slow process due to fine motor control. Actually quite fun, if you got the time and do the photos." Alice notes, then nods as he talks about the Danger Room. "Just make sure that those bots are not 3-Laws-Unsafe. You know, Asimov's three laws would not prevent bots from going all dictatorial. So don't even attept to do it safe that way, right?"
Warpath He chuckles and shakes his head gently. Then realizes he needs to pull his hair back more than he thought. He pulls a band from his wrist as he reaches back to pull his hair into a pony. While tying it back, he says, "Not those kind of robots. More like automations - the sort you'd see in a vehicle assembly plant. So, when it gets updated, I'll look for you. We'll get something going." - He's obviously very interested in getting her back into the danger room and fulfill the training aspects that she missed out on in the past.
Alice "You can give me a call then. I mean, my number is in the phone book here, or do you want a copy of sorts?" Alice offers, turning her shoulders a moment while Warpath ties up the hair. "But really, you don't need to inconvenience yourself to get me combat certified..."
Warpath When he's done with his hair, he turns back to address her directly, "We all need to be somewhat combat, self defense, practical combat application certified or familiar in the use of our powers in that setting. I don't want to sound paranoid; but people are all out to get us."
Alice Alice sighs a moment, searching in her pocket for a plastic disk, working on its shape a little, the thing turning into a bracelet and then starting to form a laticework frame of some sort of shield. "I know my Sword and board..."
Warpath James eyes the production and says, "I'll let you know when Errol Flynn is attacking." He chuckles and then adds, "I need to go. Good catching up. And I'll call you about the training." And he's heading out with some urgency. Likely already late.
Alice Alice shield is, at the moment, anything but not sturdy, as it is missing mass. Too thin, too fragile, but the idea is visible. "Aye. Good luck with the students! Don't let them dance on your nose, ok?"
