Firestar Angelica is standing in the kitchen area and preparing a meal. She seems to be concentrating on only for herself. She cuts peppers and onions down into chunks. Bacon and shrimp has been cooked and is wating to be added together.

Food is slowly becoming her passion and Vanessa is helping her get better. Still, experimenting doesn't always mean good. A bowl of diced tomatoes and a bowl of jasmine rice sit on the counter. It looks like everything is going together in the near future.
Logan Logan just moves into the kitchen. There's a pause before he audibly asks, "What are you making?" he's curious on this one. His gaze looking toward anything in the kitchen facility. Yes, the burritos are actually quite good. However, he's hesitant to trust the cooking blindly. "Should we worry that yer behnd the kitchen wheel again?" he asks cuirously with some amusement n his voice.
Firestar "I haven't killed anyone yet." she replies with a snort and chops things up,"Making a play on gumbo. The veggies are prepared, the bacon adds a savor." she explains. She has corn, green beans, okra, rice, and a few other things,"Don't tell Remy. I wouldn't hear the end of it."
Logan "It's the 'yet' part that worries me," Logan says with a smirk. She's adding more thngs. A brow raises, "Me n' the Cajun don't cross paths much," he admits and shrugs a little bit. That could change. However, for now they're just staying clear of each other by chance. Ocean blue eyes looking at everything going into the gumbo.
Firestar A nod and she starts to combine things. The stock has some powerful spice scene coming from it. Adding food to it will weaken the heat a little, especially the rice. The bacon is really the major wild card.

Once things are simmering together she replies,"I have only met him once since I got here, but that seems to be a lot of people. Eveyone around here is busy and nobody seems to be in the same place twice that isn't here."
Logan "We gotta fgure out somethn' to bring the people together," he says just being honest about that. His gaze looking at Firestar as she moves about. She's right. Sometimes it's hard to meet people. And he wonders what can be done to bring everyone together. Well, what could bring everyoone together that doesn't end in tragedy.
Firestar "You need to find someone that is talented at party throwing. That's not me." she admits,"Maybe a pool party or something equally cliche'" She lowers the heat and admits,"This will be so much better tomorrow, but cold." She shakes her head and lets thigns simmer a while, stirring here and there,"COuld have a game night in the game room too if we'd rather."
Logan "What if it was you -and- someone?" Logan does have an idea. Yes, it's probably like bringing together an unholy alliance. Maybe it's what the school needs for a few moments. Ocean blue eyes flick to Firestar for a moment. Logan wonders about the situation going through his head. It -could- work. "You did say you needed more friends, right?" Logan asks seriously.
Firestar She raises her brow at him, crossing her arms,"I'm listening." she tells him. Her tone a little skeptical. The scientist always looking towards an experiment or te like,"Whoever it is better be decidedly better at this than me."
Logan "I think I've got two people you should meet. One, ya ain't gonna meet fer a bit because she ran off. Soemthin' 'bout a change in her thesis or somethin'," Logan admits with some degree of feeling a little bummed out by that one. Kitty and Angelica would have been a good pair of friends, thick as thieves in his mind. Two people that could have gone toe to toe wth Hank on the technical jargon. He saw the three of them in some brainiac cabal.

"Find a girl by the name of Jubilation Lee. She's a firecracker, metaphorically speaking. Literally, too. Well, what ya look at her powers. I think she could lead the charge n' ya can bounce ideas off of her. Maybe pull her back if she goes -too- far," this he sees as a less extreme odd couple. It could work in an opposites kind of way.
Firestar She listens to him, a little sad at the mention of one not being there after all. She nods and listens to him talk about the other,"Jubilation Lee. That name sounds like it is a party waiting to happen." she agrees with a smirk.

"Is she living on the grounds or out in the world?" she asks and stirs up the food. Carefully she spoons up and little and holds the spoon towards him, her free hand under it to catch any food that falls. She's used to hot things after all.
Logan "Grounds I think n' if she ain't, she comes often. Look fer the big yellow coat or someone loud n' happy. That's probably her" Logan says and he looks at Angelica. It's hard for him to describe Jubilee. "She's a blindspot, but in a good way," he admits. To be a blind spot to Logan means she is probably special in his world.
Firestar She takes the bite of the food and frowns thoughtfully. A nod and then she replies,"I will look for her. Blind spot sounds like important." she tells him with a knowing look,"I will do my best to catch up with her soon."
Logan "Good," Logan says with a nod. She knows how important that sounds. "What's wrong wit' the food?" he asks curiously. A brow rased as he watches her for a moment. He's wonering what didn't mix well. "Everythin' okay or do you need Copycat's help?" he asks.
Firestar "It's not bad. I would like more heat in it." she replies. Scooping some out she offers it to him again to see if he wants some,"Vanessa is helpful for sure, but sooner or later I have to be able to dive in there and do it myself."
Logan A nod comes from him and he takes the offerred bits. Agreeignw tih her, "Could use a ltitle somethin' Everything I'd recommend gose wit' somethin' else. Can't help ya much on this one," Logan admits sadly. Thos eocean blue eyes look at her for a moment.
Firestar She chuckles softly and winks,"Well then. Looks like I am back to he drawing board..." she pauses and snaps her finger. She pauses and meets his gaze for a long moment,"Hey. You help me plenty of other ways." She goes to the cabinet to add something to the food,"Bay leaves." she mutters thoughtfully.
Logan A shrug comes from the mutant, "Eh. I help out whoever needs a firm kick in the butt," he smirks. Logan doesn't deal well with people saying he helps them. Yes, he ddoes, but Logan's hard life makes it odd for him to see himself as a helper even if he knows that he does that. Logan knows this beyond a shadow of a doubt.
Firestar Stirring up the food she smirks a little,"Well. There's been a time or two I've needed that, so I will let you know." she quips back. She is a lot more comfortable around Logan than when they first met,"I will keep an eye open for other people needing it and will point you at them."
Logan "If ya turn my room into an endless lin of ass kickin's, I'm kickin' yer ass, too." This is Logan's way of saying to do this in moderation. He doesn't want too many people that could use that. Some may not need it.
Firestar "I'll keep that in mind. I will split them between you and Proudstar. It's good for him too." she teases and is not playing the name mess again,"That way neither of you get the idea to kick mine."

She stirs a little more and tastes it,"It will be better when that has had time to cook down." she admits. New bay leaf is pretty strong after all.
