Selina Kyle Night is rapidly falling across Sheal docks, and with it comes an early autumn chill. It's not yet bitingly cold to make patrolling in a skin tight catsuit uncomfortable, but as she leaps from rooftop to rooftop, Catwoman is starting to realize that she will have to soon switch to her warmer winter gear and attire.

But for now, a brisk run by the moonlight feels refreshing as she lurks along the dockside. This time of night, it's fairly quiet but there seems to be a lot of work going on from a particular loading vessel..Those folks look kind of strange to be workers though, they're armed with guns and other weapons, and dressed all in black. Hm, that's interesting.

Of course, the glittering glint of precious stones and metals from some of those boxes does catch her eye too..Hmm, are those real workers, or did they steal those lovely jewels from somewhere else..?
Felicia Hardy As a general rule, Felicia Hardy -- the Black Cat -- stays out of Gotham. For the most part it is just not worth the hassle. It tends to be filled with crazies and she is not particularly interested in going up against any of the Bat types. She has enough on her plate without taking that on too.

Besides, for the most part New York City offers her plenty of interesting challenges. And if she feels the need to travel? Well there are any number of interesting international destinations that she can hit up without dealing with crazed psychopaths or scary vigilantes. Choices are a wonderful thing.

And yet here she is in Gotham, actually rather enjoying the slightly chillier weather, though soon enough it might not be quite so much fun. She flits across the rooftops of the warehouses that populate the area near the docks, a rumor having brought her to town despite all the potential pitfalls and hassles. Worse comes to worse she can always run away. Though how she manages it in those boots... well, she must be a little more then human.
Selina Kyle Catwoman narrows her eyes, crouching down on the very same rooftop that Black Cat is running towards. But at the moment, her focus is elsewhere, peering intently upon those 'Dock Workers' down below, trying to figure out what thye're doing, what they're saying. They are not saying much honestly, just working quickly through the night to transport their goods to some nearby warehouse.

Those goods seem awfully heavy, which would make sense if they're full of what she thinks they are. But hmm, what do they plan to do with them then..resell them on the black market perhaps?"

She smirks, "Should have brought my binocs. I'm sure there's something I'm missing down below..I'm wonder.." And then she spots a figure moving in the shadows. Coming closer. "Hello, who is this?" she arches a brow, trying to peer at the other cat through the half light of the moon.
Felicia Hardy The nice thing about warehouses is that they do tend to have rather flat rooftops. That does make it a little easier. And with it being the main sort of building in the area as well, they tend to be clustered tightly enough together that it is easy to casually leap from one building to the next without dealing with all that other gear.

Felicia does spot the other figure as she closes in on the vantage point she's been looking for and after leaping to that next rooftop she slows her progress, those heeled boots clicking ever so slightly on the roof beneath her. Loud enough to catch the figure's attention.

Fortunately both the silhouette and the voice is familiar enough to eleveate some of her concern and her lips curve into an amused smile at the seeming coincidence of running into this woman, of all people, right here. She resumes that swaying stride, getting close enough so that she doesn't have to raise her voice -- and potentially alert -- the armed men below. "Well well, I can say that I expected to run into you here, though I don't know why. Catwoman," she greets lightly.
Selina Kyle Catwoman arches a brow, recognizing the woman at once when she steps into the light of a nearby lamp. "Mm, my dear Black Cat, fancy meeting you out here, tonight of all nights.." she nods towards the men below. "Tell me, were you drawn by the shady business going on below as well?" she seems amused, curious. Maybe not entirely surprised to bump into her again. Great minds and all that.
Felicia Hardy She sways over towards the edge of the building, peering down at the docks below -- and those trying to pass themselves off as just workers. Doing a rather bad job of it too, not with those weapons out in plain sight. Still, Felicia turns back towards the other woman with a little smirk and a shrug that ripples across her frame. "Mmmmm, I did hear a few rumors admittedly and thought it might be worthwhile to check out. Even if it meant sneaking into Gotham to do it," she says, making a face before smiling once more.

"So what's your interest in all of this? Hopefully we're not working at cross purposes," she says lightly.
Selina Kyle Catwoman arches a brow, nodding slowly, thoughtfully, "Mm, that's right, I was drawn by those same rumours I'm sure. However, they definitely don't seem to be regular dock workers, not armed like that, makes me wonder if they're linked to some other criminal gang that's been making waves around these parts lately.."

She smirks at Black Cat. "Oh, you know, the contents of those crates look pretty...Shiny. I like pretty shiny things, I'm betting you do too. However, more than that, I think there is something deeper going on here, and if it's connected to the same gang that messed with my head a while back, I want revenge..And why not collect some lovely rewards along the way, hmm?"
Felicia Hardy In their circles, news does tend to travel around pretty fast. There are usually a few people in the know and most of them are happy to share just what they know, either for a cut or a standard price. Clearly that is what Felicia has tapped into to arrive here today and she studies those men down below thoughtfully. Where she can she avoids fights -- particularly with armed men -- preferring to do her jobs discretely. But that's not always possible, now is it?

"Mmmmmm, seems like," she agrees, flashing a smile towards the other sneak thief. "I don't have a personal stake in this, I'm just interested in what pretties I might lay my hands on," she admits, giving a soft, playful sigh. "So I suppose under the circumstances you have first dibs," she graciously conceeds.
Selina Kyle Catwoman grins and nods, "Smart cat although I'm sure we'd make more as a team effort..Only question is, how do we pull this off, ambush or stealth? Grab and go would be wiser, maybe even get some info on these bad boys but we'll be getting a lighter payload, just whatever we can carry..But I don't like our odds, there's what, 10-20 men pretty well armed down there?"
Felicia Hardy It is a valid point to be sure and Felicia nods her head as she glances over the deployment of the waiting guards. "Mmmmm, for me I'm perfectly happy to snatch what we can. I don't mind helping you gather a little info even if it won't be quite a shiney," she admits with a playful wink. "But yes, I'm not really looking to get into a big fight if I can help it," she admits. Again, this isn't personal for her, jsut business. A target of opportunity. And honestly, where possible, she would rather steal from thieves like this. They're unlikely to call the authorities afterall.
Selina Kyle Catwoman nods slowly, attention somewhat divided between her new ally and the guards below. "Hmm, right. Well, it seems that for now they are busy sorting things in the warehouse, I give it another ten minutes and we can get some good coverage on the docks where a fair bit of loot has been left for the time being. Maybe get a name, a destination, something of the like so I can figure out who exaclty these guys are."

Well, it might be a long shot but it could be worth it, besides, if nothing else, she might just go home with some new pretty jewels in her pockets.

"Alright.." she nods, "I'm not a fan of biting off more than I can chew either..See that spot right there in the shadows? We'd get good cover from the ship itself and the dock wall. But it's a fair bit out from shore so we gotta move quickly. Thankfully that line of lamp posts are a good launch point and close enough to the buildings that we can make a quick escape if need be."
Felicia Hardy At least they seem to be in agreement. While Selina might have a grudge against whoever is being all of this, she is apparently willing to take a reasonable approach and go after information and tangible rewards of pretties. Instead of seeking out as much carnage as possible. That already makes this seem like a much better deal to Felicia. Much more of a sure thing.

"Seems fair to me. I'll race you over there if you'd like," the Black Cat offers up playfully as Catwoman lays out her plan. It makes sense. The cover is there. They both do well in shadows. There's a good chance that they can be in and out with no one the wiser.

Exactly the sort of jobs Felicia likes.

"Lets do this," she purrs.
Selina Kyle Catwoman nods slowly, watching the events going on below. It does indeed seem to be clearing out for the most part down below although ther are a few stragglers here and there. "Much better, we can take 'em." she grins and nods. "Sounds like a challenge. Yo'u're on." and without another word she starts to rush towards the edge, pulling out her whip and getting ready to leap towards the nearest light pole to rapple down to the ground below.
