Zatanna Zatara	It is not all that often that Zatanna Zatara finds herself in a club when she isn't performing. It is almost as rare for her to take a night off really. If she isn't out on the road, chances are there is some crisis of one sort or another demanding her attention. But not tonight. Tonight she finds herself all dressed up and not planning to perform. Her trademark tuxedo outfit complete with top hat, tails and those oh so popular fishnets replaced instead by a slinky black dress. Though she does at least walk into the place alone, at least for the moment, eyes flickering about the already busy club, seeming to be looking for someone in particular.
Harley Quinn	Harley Quinn @emit Funny enough, zatanna might not be playing but Harley is! Batman	As rare as it might be for Zatanna to take a night off, it is even more rare for Bruce Wayne to do the same. Not openly of course. As Gotham's First Son he is a regular on the charity circuit, making appearances amd of course making frequent donations as well. And yet, for all that he has managed to maintain a reputation as a partying playboy, he also seems to disappear surprisingly early most nights. Always put off to him getting bored and disappearing to some club, some private party, the truth would shock his many peers in the community. But it wouldn't shock everyone present at this club tonight. Slipping in, not that much after Zatanna, his attention is first caught by the woman up by stage -- a rather familiar figure at that -- a brief smile and shake of his head given before he slips up beside one of his very oldest friends. "Well, it looks like the entertainment might end up being a little more wild then I planned for," he says drily to the dark haired sorceress. "You're looking lovely as ever Zanna. Thanks for making the time," he adds quietly.
Zatanna Zatara	If nothing else it is not as if Zatanna doesn't have a little entertainment playing out in front of her while she waits. Of course she recognizes Harley. Is there anyone who lives in Gotham that wouldn't? But she doesn't have the same history with the woman that her date for the evening does which makes it a little easier to just smile and enjoy the performance going up on stage. So do most people in the crowd, judging by the cheers and catcalls. Smile on her face, she glances Bruce's way as he slips in beside her, amusement etched over her features. "I haven't been waiting long. And I think a few surprises now and then keep things interesting. Not everything has to have a plan," she chides teasingly. "We should see if we can get a table down in front."
Harley Quinn	Harley Quinn She is singing before she pauses. " Excuse me a moment, " She stomps over towards a side. " CAN IT?" She growls at the cat callers and then adjusts her dress back and puts on a demure smile .. or at least as demure as she can do !      She also pulled out a bat and put it next to the piano.. where she got it don't ask.. Nobody is sure where, and those that saw won't talk.      She moves along she spots the couple, and blinks a few times, almost like holy crap, is that them! .. She gives Zatanna a hello wave.. As for bruce he gets a wink.. not the first time she's seen him, mostly when Mr J was doing something evil .
Batman	The suggestion that they sit right down in front gets Zatanna a long look and a faint smirk, but Bruce finally does incline his head ever so slightly towards the dark-haired sorceress and begins picking their way towards one of the tables up front that has been set aside for VIPs. There are a few priviledges that come from being Gotham's wealthiest individual and principle employer to be sure. Though the dark-haired billionaire might not be quite as excited as his date for the evening. Holding out the chair for Zee, he lets her get settled before slipping into his own spot, turning his gaze up towards Harley, dipping his head in greeting. The bat gets a pursed-lips glance and he shoots another look across the table, settling himself in for the performace as a waitress drops drinks off at their table.
Zatanna Zatara	While she might not be here specifically to cause a hard time for Bruce, she doesn't exactly mind doing just that either. The man needs to learn to smile damn it. And if you can't smile at this particular scenario, what can you smile at? It's not like anything is too crazy and out of control. Yet. If anything, Zee's amusement only grows at the way Harley handles the catcalls. As a performer herself she knows how challenging -- and sometimes irriating -- that can be. So she gives a little applause, clapping hands together before flashing a grin up towards the evening's entertainment, wiggling fingers playfully at the harlequin. Her grin, if anything, grows a little bigger as she spots that bat by the piano, not bothering to hide her amusement from Bruce.
Harley Quinn	Harley Quinn Sings as she walks along, she sings towards one table .. then another.. she walks over and lays onto the table for Bruce and Zatanna.. She hits a high note then turns off the mic just for a moment " Hi Zee.. looking Fresh! Heya's Brucie.. I'm being good; I'm only using a bat " .      She flits and does a cartwheel.. she might flash a bit, and that will most likely get her ALOt more catcalls but she forgot she was in a dress. That happens! .. she didn't fall on her face in her heels so that's showing some skill.      They might notice her making for her bat, though.
Batman	All things considered, Bruce really can't complain. Harley is practically being on her best behavior, compared to what she can get up to. And she certainly has the knack for putting on a performance. It helps, that he is not quite as humorless as he once was, that being the head of a family -- if a rather unique one -- has forced him to grow and change and adapt, at least a bit. So even as the clown girl drapes herself across the table, the dark haired billionaire only smiles briefly. "So I can see. You have a lovely singing voice," he offers up. Look at that? It's an actual compliment. Which admittedly seems to come a little easier when he is not in the cape and cowl. Still, it's a bit of a red letter day. Of course, soon enough she does that cartwheel, gives the crowd something to really cheer about and the place starts to get a little rowdy again. "Well here's hoping that doesn't set anything off..."
Zatanna Zatara	"You worry too much, sometimes. Live a little Bruce. Or is it Brucie?" Zee asks with wide eyes that glint oh so brightly under the lights of the club. A little smirk plays across Zatanna's lips and she cradles the drink in front of her, only lifing it from the table when the pretty clown drapes herself over the surface of it. "Harls," she says with that sly smile, taking a slow sip from her drink and winking at the other woman. "Looking good. Like the pigtails, but this is a pretty good look for you too," she comments lightly before giving a low laugh. The she's off and the dark-haired sorceress settles back in her seat comfy-like as the hoots and hollars from those nearby begin to pick up again. "I'm sure it will be fine," she says with a confidence she probably doesn't have any right to have.
Harley Quinn	Harley Quinn Glares back at the hooting men, " IT's JUST PANTIES YA BUNCHA APEs.. " She points at her crotch " THEY AINT even SEE THROUGH ".. She sniffs " MEN " . Apparently, she doesn't go on a murder spree. Batman	Well that's something of a relief. It would seem that Harley is not spoiling for a fight tonight. So maybe they won't have to get involved. Probably more significant for the crowd, they might escape without any busted kneecaps for their less then gentlemanly behavior. Though in all fairness it's not like it was just the men who were hooting and hollaring. For his part Bruce does a pretty good job of nursing his glass, though the fact that he's drinking at all suggests that their waitress has been suitably paid off to insure that it is not alcohol that he is imbibing. "Lots like the physical floor show is cancelled. Seems like you were right afterall, Zanna," Bruce conceeds.
Zatanna Zatara	Of course Zatanna looks suitably smug at that. It isn't often that anyone gets to tell Gotham's Dark Knight 'I told you so'. And while the curvy sorceress doesn't actually come out and say it, it's not hard to tell that she's thinking it. That she has the right to say it if she felt like. And that counts for a lot. So she lifts her glass towards the woman on the stage, making a show of grabbing for that blown kiss before offering one in return. Supporting her fellow performer. "Maybe next time you'll put a little faith in my Brucie," she offers up. Yeah, that's not going away anytime soon. Thank you Harley.
Harley Quinn	Harley Quinn Beams a smile when she gets praise from Zatanna she grabs the kiss and puts it to her chest as she continues to sing.. She's being a good girl is seems just signing her song laying on the piano..      So she flicks her foot and throws her heel to Drill, one of the lewdest and most rude.. she didn't kill him! just stuffed a heel into his thigh.. that counts for something right!
Batman	A kicked shoe -- even one with a sharp heel -- is pretty darned mild where Harley is concerned. And some of those in the crowd aren't exactly showing an abudance of good sense in trying to provoke her. Sometimes natural selection deserves at least a little response, and being dinged by a heel seems fair. "Don't gloat. It's not becoming," Bruce counters mildly, though the corners of his mouth twitch upwards ever so slightly as he leans back up in his seat and at the very least makes a show of enjoying the unexpected performance. Of course he would probably vehemently deny it if he was ever questioned, but there you go. It's something.
Zatanna Zatara	It isn't often that she gets the chance to see him like this, some semblance of relaxed. Of course she knows him better then most. Has known him longer then most. Still, Zatanna smiles briefly, lips curling in amusement. "I make no promises. Gloating is sometimes one of the great pleasures in life. Turning back to the stage, Zee takes another sip from her drink, lingering over for the moment before letting out a loud 'Woooooooo!' in encouragement for the clown girl's performance. And the way she keeps some of the more rowdy members of the crowd in line. Not the way she would do things of course. But there are definitely nights when she would like to. Of course she always has magic to fall back on to. That can be pretty effective.
Harley Quinn	Harley Quinn She only has 2 heels so that's a plus.. and thankfully, it seems the second Hitting a guy's head was all it took.. before she sniffs and pulls her top back up a little. "Ladies, keep the catcalls coming.. your stunning and beautiful I love you .. men.. crawl into a hole and die " She huffs and then At least tries to finish her song..      She flips her hair and it seems her set is over.. So what does that mean.. well it means she's gonna go and flop down onto Zatanna s and bruces table. " Hi.. my sets done.. I wanna hang out here " .
Batman	With the set done it is not exactly a surprise to see Harley make her way back over to their table. Again, Bruce shoots a wry glance over towards Zee before giving a small shrug of his shoulders. Hey, at least he will have an up close and personal view of things if the evening takes a turn for the worst. "Pull up another chair then I suppose," the dark haired billionaire says gracefully, motioning towards the open spot at the table. "Or I suppose you can just drape yourself across the table again too, though I imagine that might not be quite as comfortable," he points out with a quiet laugh. "And leave nowhere for our drinks either," he notes archly, motioning towards the waitress to bring another drink to their table.
Zatanna Zatara	For her part Zatanna edges over her seat to make a little more room at the table. One always has to support a fellow performer after all and she grins as Harley finishes her set, lifting her glass once more before applauding, As the other woman comes to join them, Zee grins and offers a dip of her head. "Very nice. You seem to have a natural gift for performing. Maybe you can open for me sometime," she suggests with a playful wink, taking another sip from her drink.
Harley Quinn	Harley Quinn giggles and slides off the table " Faaair " she says softly before she sits down and leans right onto zee's arms " Is that a promise.. I'd love to open for ya " she beams " Beats working for two face " she says simple " That guy pays you one day and dosn't the other " she shakes her head. " it's a better gig that's for sure " she looks over " As least it's better eye candy.. " she motions to bruce and zee . before she grabs her own drink and takes a rather large sip. well more of a chug.
Batman	"You'll quite turn our heads," Bruce says drily, a wry smile playing over his lips as their guest slips from the table to make a little more room at least. Just in time for her drink to arrive. Though the way it is swiftly downed suggests that it might just be the first of several. This might not have been what he expected when he suggested that they get out for the evening. But given what his evening's usually look like, this is a definite improvement. At least in the conventional sense. He probably hasn't changed so much that he will be giving up patrolling the c ity anytime soon. But at least they didn't need to find a way to break up a brawl.
Zatanna Zatara	Laughing as Harley comes to join them, splays herself over their table once more and then slides free, Zatanna nods her head slowly. "I expect that we can probably arrange something," she says agreeably, slipping that arm around the other woman, leaning back against her. And no doubt setting all sorts of hearts aflutter in the rest of the club. Though already the next performer is setting up on the stage, getting ready to start their own performance. They might have something of a tough act to follow though. "If nothing else I'm sure you would liven things up on the road," she teases.
Harley Quinn	Harley Quinn kisses Zatanna's cheek and giggles " Ah am the best as slumber parties you can ask ives.. Mah slumber part game is on lock.. and I'm deadly with a pillow," she grins. Yeah, two stunning girls cuddling gotta get some stares.. and more than a few jealous looks to Bruce.      She looks at bruce and checks to make sure nobody can hear "Tell Afred.. thanks for sending me cookies.. he's still my favorite old softie " .
Batman	It is admittedly tough to go wrong with anything Alfred does. Even when Bruce is at last then his best, Alfred can usually be counted on to generate a fair amount of good will, all on his own. So Bruce dips his head in understanding, wry smile curving across his features. So very different then the granite-like expression that seems to predominate once the cape and cowl go on. "I'll be sure to do that," he promises quietly. Admittedly, there are probably a few jealous looks tossed Bruce's way at the best of times, given who he is. But he might deserve them a little more under the circumstances tonight.
Zatanna Zatara	"Is that so?" Zatanna counters, amusement in her voice. "I'll keep that in mind, but I'd best warn you that my game is positively magic," she points out archly, a low laugh accompanying her words. Would it be cheating to enchant a dozen or so pillows to do her fighting for her? Oh yes it would. Does that make any difference to the raven-haired sorceress? No, it probably doesn't. Certainly the scene at the little table seems very cozy indeed, no less so when the house lights begin to dim and the next performance starts up on the stage. Pretty to be sure. But not quite as lively.
Harley Quinn	Harley Quinn Grins " So what are your two plants tonight? "s he asks with a smirk as she continues to lean on zatanna " are you guys just here for the drinks and a show.. cause I'll be honest she's good better singer than me but not as fun " She grins..      She looks to bruce " You know when we were together i told you to smile more.. you really do have a nice smile Brucie " she says
Batman	"A rare evening out. And not at some charity event for a change," Bruce offers up drily, sipping his own drink. Chances are before the night's over he will done the cape and cowl. That he will take to the streets and rooftops, do what he can to make his city a safer place. In some small way. "Besides that, just see where things take us I think," he says, glancing over towards Zatanna. "Unless you had plans that you haven't shared at any rate," he asks with a faint smile. Then his gaze flicks back towards Harley, brow arching slightly. "Well, you should be pleased then I think. It seems I might have listened. For a change," he points out.
Zatanna Zatara	Like Bruce, Zatanna glances over to their other tablemate, amusement in her eye as she shifts a little, seeming to turn a little her way. "Well, you never know when a surprise will present itself, right? So I don't necessarily have any plans, but I do love surprises," she points out, eyes still glinting oh so merrily. "Like how could we have known that tonight's star would decide to join us for drinks? Surprise!" She laughs and glances back across the table towards the dark-haired man. "Don't worry. I'm sure that we can get you home in plenty of time," she says optomistically, a teasing note to her words.
Harley Quinn	Harley Quinn giggles herself and shifts closer as well shifting in her chair a bit to get comfy it looks like as she loosk " Oooorrr we could just go now " she says brightly " Ah mean.. I like this place I do .. good booze if you know who to ask.. but I know bruce has got waaay better at his place.. and it has his favorite protine shakes " She smirks .
