Lorna Dane Club Evo is pretty loud and raucous tonight as they approach Christmas, although Lorna isn't really in the mood for partying. With Alex currently down for the count and Magneto hunting down relics, she's grown rather thoughtful and withdrawn, not really having reached out to any or many Xmen lately, aside from a brief cooking lesson if only to get Alex's health up.

Tonight finds her skulking in a booth in the back, watching the late night harrying distractedly as she tried to finish off a drink, looking tired but not quite ready to leave.

The last band of the night finished playing and they're mostly playing background music so things are starting to calm down at least..
Logan Logan is there, too. He's in his own booth too. Thoughts run through mind as he dissect things. He looks about for a moment. When he notices a familiar gree haired woman skulking, he'll give her a nod.

On th table wth him is a simple tan coboy hat, and he's dressed in a simple red flannel shirt and a pair of blue jeans that a simple shade of blu with a little fade from wear. His ocean blue eyes flick back to hs drink. Then he takes a sip of the beer.
Lorna Dane Lorna Dane is just one booth over and she recognizes him instantly. She smirks a bit, nodding to him, although hesitant to join him initially, neither of them are super social butterflies afterall.

"How you been, Logan?" she asks over the booth seat,
Logan Logan shrugs a little bit. "I don't know. Just figurin' it out. How 'bout you?" He asks and takes his mug of beer. Bringing it to his lip, he takes a small pull off the glass. Then he nods to the spot across for him.
Lorna Dane Lorna Dane arches a brow, "Figuring what out exactly? Life you mean?" she smirks, "Aren't we all..Heck, If you want to talk about it, I'm happy to listen.."
Logan "Just what's gonna happen. Everything's been too quiet n' that bugs me. I hate that. Feels like somethin' is ready to drop n' it bugs me," hea dmits and shakes his head a little bit. "And y'know, everyone's gt somethin'," he admits looking back toward Lorna for a moment. His gaze locked on her.
Lorna Dane Lorna Dane smirks and shrugs, and after a moments thought she climbs to her feet, moving to join him. "Quiet? I wouldn't say that...Now that Spiral's in town stirring up trouble, messing with the key lines..And with my father out there searching for hidden relics, claiming to want to stop the revival of Apocalypse.."

She sighs and stretches. "I had hoped Alex could put an end to things by blasting the first relic to smithereens but..Guess not..And now he'll be out of it for a while."
Logan "Got a pont. She has Reavers with her," Logan admits and he needs to remember she's out there. It's something he cannot ignore. "I know that she's causin' trouble," he lks at her for a mment thinking more on it. His eyes looking at her, "Where'd he go?" he asks honestly concerned. Logan heard rmors about Alex beng back. So it made hiim curious where they guy swas His eyes stays focused on Lorna fora moment.
Lorna Dane Lorna Dane sighs and nods, "Spiral wasn't alone, She had minions with her, helping her to open portals, nearly tore the local bowling alley apart!" she frowns, "Took me a while to repair the ley lines, and she even asked for my help, said she's trying to break away from mojo but...I dunno if we can trust her.."
Logan "We can't. We can trust her to benefit herself. If the goals align, we can trust her. Th second they diverge, ain't no trustin' her," Logan says ever the cautious individual. His recent run in with her made hink think otherwise there. Knowing that she may need to be dealt with in other ways soon.
Lorna Dane Lorna Dane nods. "That's what I was thinking too, it's got to be a trick. I suppose the Xmen should be alerted too.."

She talks like an outsider, like she's not an Xman..Maybe she isn't, given the company she keeps lately.,

"Honesty, I came to Mutant Town to get away from heroics..But I guess that was naive thinking.."
Logan "I ain't sayin' she can't be help, but we can't trust in it completely. Think of her like freelance at best," Logan knows that is the best way to see. Then ocean blues lock on her. "Then join me fer a drink. We can stow the work talk.
Lorna Dane Lorna Dane nods. "Agreed. Then we proceed with caution, on both Spiral, and Magneto.." she sighs, "I guess there's no escaping the heroics, guess Alex and I will never get to live a normal life huh." she nods and hails the waitress down to order another round of drinks.
Logan "I think w all want happiness like that, but we gotta make it work fer th world we live in," Logan says softly as he reachs out a hand for her own. A smile pulls at his lips as he watchs her.
Lorna Dane Lorna Dane nods and groans. "Yeah, sure. I want happiness, just not keen on the price of that happiness." she stiffens at the touch but doesn't pull away. "That's one of the reasons why we chose to be only reserve members of the Xmen afteralk.."
Logan "Well, what's holdin' ya back from grabbin' it? I ain't sayin' it's gonna be easy, but the good stuff ain't easy," Logans ays sftly nowing he sounds annoyingly positive. "Ya deserve it. So does yer better half," Logan adds and he's just thnking of some struggles others have.
Lorna Dane Lorna Dane shrugs, "I guess, finding that balance. I want a normal life with Alex, away from all the drama and danger and politics that comes with being a superhero..But I don't want to abandon my friends and allies in theXmen when they need me the most."
Logan "Ya ain't gonna abandon them if yer figurin' out the balance. People like Stark ain't always one or the other," Logan says pointing out that work-life balance, for lack of better terms. "It's just different fer everyne, i guess," Logan shrugs and takes another drink of the beer. Ocean blue eyes looking back to her.
