Owner Pose
Dracula The night is young yet, but for whatever reason there is no sign of everyone's favorite Billy Idol inspiration. The graveyard is as quiet as...well a graveyard. There isn't a lot of signs about his return either.

Not far from where he would normally emerge is a woman. It is too dark to see much, but she seems a little upset at something. Beyond her, another shadow walks towards her. What is it with people in this town hanging out in cemetaries.
Willow Rosenberg Well, sugar! No Spike. Then again he was absent a lot these days. Good thing she had a secondary job to do in the cemetery. She could have done this during the day, but Spike prefers the night. Without him, she was wandering about picking up the dead flowers at the grave sites to use in a potion.

Not that Willow was an expert at potions! But she was certainly better than previous years, thanks to Tala.

She picked out some roses, when she noticed the woman. Which wasn't a problem, except there Willow was taking dead flowers off of people's graves.

She gave a nervous tinkle of laughter, hoping the woman wouldn't come closer and demand to know what Willow was up to.
Dracula The one approaching her notices Willow first and pauses. She can tell she is noticed by how the other person focuses. The woman sounds like she might even be weeping. She leans on the crypt he frequents and she sighs softly.

"My boy. Where is my boy?" she mutters and then pauses. She stands straighter and she turns towards Willow. She steps forward into the light,"Hello there. Who is this?" she asks and walks towards Willow, flowing in her steps,"My boy preferring the red heads? With flowers?"

She pauses and looks closer,"My boy doesn't like witches, bad Spike. Bad doggie." She hesitates again,"You're her friend, that slayer's witch." Her accent is distinctly British, her tone unhinged.
Willow Rosenberg Huh?

So many things were wrong about *that* that Willow didn't know where to begin.

"I'm not anybody anything. If you meant Buffy, then I am her friend. But I most definitely am not that Slayer's witch." Come to think of that, did Spike mention his mother? And how could she be alive.. unless..

Taking a step backwards, Willow tells the woman she had better be going before Buffy was on her patrol. Not that Willow knew where Buffy was patrolling tonight. The woman didn't need to know, though!
Dracula She says the next word like it is the worst five letters she's ever had to combine,"Buffy." she spits,"Bothersome Slayer. My Spike should have made her his chalice. Two Slayers fell, why does he love this one?"

The question almost sounds like a whimper,"We were happy..." she moves to appear from the shadows, looking very young. She looks past Willow and really the world. She looks up to the sky and whispers,"...the fireflies. I love the fireflies." reaching up at the sky she tries to grab them.

A few moments later she sighs,"We were happy before...before your friend." she wallows,"I saw him in the street, I made him like me. Mine for eternity."
Willow Rosenberg Oh bother.

"You're Druscilla, aren't you?" At least Willow thinks so. "You are going to have to ask Spike why he likes her. It's not like Buffy has given him anything to go on. Spike likes Buffy." Loves Buffy. "Lot's of boys do."

"I mean, there is no rhyme or reason why the heart wants what the heart wants. Take me. I fell for a person who can not use technology. Me. A computer nerd. It happens."

She watches the woman try to catch the star, thinking they are fireflies. "It's really not the time to catch them, you know? They're just memories."
Dracula Her attention moves back to Willow and she smiles, drawing nearer,"You do remember me. How sweet." she comments.

"Boys will be boys yes. Sometimes I wonder why we tolerate them." she comments. She doesn't act aggressive, but she does continue to close the distance. The one entering the cemetary angles towards the two women. The shadow is big, probably male, and most likely having bad intentions.

"I can show you reason little witch. Look in my eyes, be in me." She does lock eyes with Willow, or at least tries. From the sky a flock of bats settle near the vault and vanishes behind.
Willow Rosenberg Willow was probably going to regret this, but what the hey. You didn't strike up a deal with Dracula to not use it.

"I can't. Sorry. Someone more powerful than you would not be happy.. I think I should just go."
Dracula "Funny how you think it was a question." she comments and the big man does appear near. He looks like a fight too. She closes the distance again, then pauses.

She lets her head cock to one side and she says,"It's you. You're the one he desires..." she starts.

From behind the crypt Dracula appears and his voice breaks the night,"No! That one belongs to me." His tone is enough the big vampire cringes. Drusilla pauses, rolling her eyes and shaking her head,"No fun at all." she complains and looks at Dracula,"If my Spike were here." she seethes and the duo leave the cemetary. Dracula glares at them until they are out of sight.
Willow Rosenberg Now she has a bigger problem.

Watching Druscilla and her friend take off..

"I wasn't aware that she had a friend - do you call them that? Whatever. You do know I was bluffing her, right ?" Gulp. Out of the frying pan, and into the fire?

Strangely enough, she felt oddly braver with Dracula then Druscilla.
Dracula Once he sees them gone, Dracula turns towards her. His eyes are ablaze with anger, but he is working his way down. He takes a deep breath and exhales,"For as crazy as she is, she rarely doesn't have a plan."

He crosses his arms over his chest and replies,"She knows you are saved for me. I wish your blood, not for sustenance solely, but to join with you. I want to share that part of you and if I am not getting it, no vampire in this city will either so long as I am on hand to prevent it."
Willow Rosenberg "But.."

Willow had no answer.

When she felt like regular old Willow she was frightened of the implications of that. And when she felt like powerful Willow she was even more afraid. She could see the future before a war between Dracula and herself.

The question was: which Willow is she really?
Dracula "Fear is an elixir. It cleans the blood, quickens it. Only adrenaline can make it such." he explains and continues to walk towards her. His eyes meet hers.

Not sure which Willow either, he seems confident, but is prepared to get all mist like in a hurry,"More than any other that I can recall in centuries, I want to taste your blood, to feel you course through me. I want you to feel the embrace, the bite of the Lord instead of an underling."
Willow Rosenberg She must admit, there was something thrilling about Dracula wanting *her*.

On the other hand, Willow would be in a boat load of troubles with her friends. She should know better than that.

"If you are giving me the choice I can't. I mean it's flattering, but I can't." For all the right reasons, and a few more besides. If she was how powerful he claimed, then wouldn't she be lowering herself to be his victim? She had no doubt he would use another term, but victim was still the truth. "Isn't it enough that I am protecting you?"
Dracula She can see hunger in his gaze, but he is surprisingly controlled. He listens to her response and tells her,"I can show you how to mast the marks if that's what you fear. If the power is what you fear..." He shakes his head and sighs.

He looks past her and says,"I would suggest you go left instead of right when you leave." For all the world he appears to be about to leave,"Your protection is something for which I am eternally grateful, but if you still fear this, I must needs sate my thirst on someone...less worthy. Yours would sustain me in ways you can't understand. Another reason I would taste you, but primarily to open your powers more."
Willow Rosenberg "Left then."

As for why Willow has not committed to the bite? There are so many reasons, that right now it wouldn't be pertinent to list them. That fact is she says no, but she's still thinking of it - or else she wouldn't still be talking to him. Or still giving him her protection, such as it is..

Three big reasons hung over her: Harry. Buffy. And her potential power.

"I've.. Left. Thank you." And she scurries away.
Dracula When she is gone, he shatters a head stone in his anger. There is something about him that wants it to be her choice and so he doesn't force it. He bursts into the bats and flies away, making sure she is able to return home safely and then goes off towards Mutant Town.
