Dracula Did he use his power to summon her? Was she just happening by the graveyard tonight? Either way, Dracula is lingering near the entrance of a graveyard when Willow comes past. In his mist form he appears to just be part of the fog.

In the distance, she hears the sound that might be a woman scream and might just be a passing mountain lion that got too close to the graveyard.
Willow Rosenberg To tell the truth? Willow wasn't sure what had brought her out here. It could have been the balmy weather for January. Or, the talk that she had with Buffy. Maybe she thought she could get some gravestone ash with the weather co-operating..

Or else, she hoped to run into Dracula.

She still was confused. Even more so since she had talked with Buffy. And no matter what, she felt icky for almost lying to Buffy. She just skipped over any parts that might put her friend on the track that something was wrong with Willow.

Surely a lie of omission wasn't a true lie.. was it?

Wandering around the gravestones she sighed. Maybe this wasn't a good idea after all.
Dracula Dracula lets his mist form rise around her as she steps through it. She can certainly sense an intelligence around her suddenly and feel the mist 'touch' her as it passes over and then behind her.

He reforms just out of arms reach and tells her softly,"Good evening. You came when I called. This is good."
Willow Rosenberg At first, Willow closes her eyes. Just for a moment. Then opens them.

"Why do you think I came because you called?" He could have. But did he already have such power over her?

Willow was not certain. Again if she was as powerful as some people insisted..would she be vulnerable for his call?

"What do you want?" Since he was there.
Dracula "I reached out to you and you arrived." he replies. Could be he did and could be he's messing with her.

"Want? I desire your thoat to be my chalice and more than that I want to you drink from me so you can see your darkness, to see your power." he tells her.

A bastard, but an honest and competent bastard. He remains watchful of her. She can throw fire after all. What maniac taught her to do that?
Willow Rosenberg For now, he does not attempt to seduce her with trickery, or false words. At least for now, he is content to have her with her own free will. Which, right now, was the only thing that (probably) saved her.

At least she thought. Not being certain of her own power to stand up to him as an equal, and resist him.

No. Right now, she resists because he hasn't put any power behind his suggestion.

"And what if I say no. And walked away. What then?" Willow is curious what his answer will be.
Dracula He reaches out to her mind, meeting her eyes and washing her mind with his thoughts. The impression is sent to her to raise and turn her chin, giving him the free path to bite her.

A moment later, he blinks and lets go of her. Her thoughts become her own again and he crosses his arms,"Do you wish to turn and walk away?"
Willow Rosenberg Oh.. she didn't want to.. and yet.. even as she was thinking no.. no.. her body was saying yes.

That was a bummer. Willow was disgusted with herself. "Traitor," she whispered to herself.

Then louder, "No. I mean yes. Yes I would want to!" In truth part of her would be curious what it would be like, regardless of being a Scoobiedoo member. And for that she was ashamed. "Meanie!"
Dracula He moves in closer, his fangs extended. He looks down at her face and into her eyes,"By all means beautiful witch. Turn your back on me. Give me what I desire."

That said, he flicks his wrist with a clawed finger and lets his blood pool up on his arm. Now it might not be appealing to her eyes, but her other senses would be attracted to the dark liquid before her especially her nose and emotions.
Willow Rosenberg Willow backs up. At least she thinks she is backing up? All the while, trying to focus on anything but that red weal of blood on his wrist. She can see his blood pulsing with her heartbeat.

Funny that. Her heart beat? Not his??

Wait a minute..

He was technically dead. Technically. More like undead. But his blood was as rich and red as hers. Which was weird, she thought.

That thought was the only thing that saved her. "I.. I.. Gotta go."

Now, she turns - really turns, and prepares to run.
Dracula When she turns to run he snarls and she hears a strange noise behind her. A few seconds later she can hear four feet pursuing her and a growling snarl before the voice of a wolf fills the night air behind her. He could catch her, but maybe he's letting her get a good adrenaline pump to purify her blood first.
Willow Rosenberg Run, she does. And how!

Even without the snarling wolf at her heels.

One thing Willow is quite convinced is, as she is NOW she couldn't take him on.

But can she if she gives in to her darker side??

As she escapes the graveyard, that little thought has wormed its way into thoughts. Even Dracula was making fun of her!

She'll show him.. She'll show them all!

(But how is the next step?)
Dracula For a moment the wolf sounds like it might overtake her. Instead there is a burst and she feels a flight of bats blow past her head. They might scrape her a little, but otherwise she is unharmed. Then she is alone and running from a memory.
