Clark Kent Three miles North of Central City. Those three miles make a world of difference. Yes, the several roads leading into the city are still about, but most of the industrial splendor of the city is gone. People can see the various greens of grass, trees, and more of nature's wonder. Well, they would if it's not for this dreary weather. All the leaves are gone, a gray haze of clouds spread across the sky. It's a depressing sight for some.

And another depressing sight begins with simple road that turns off. Taking a right for a good five, to ten minutes cause that depression to grow. Various signs are strung about all saying the same thing, "Prison Area. Do not Pickup Hitchhikers," This is how Iron Heights greets the world long before anyone sees it. Those signs just continue as the large structure comes into view. A concrete structure with several windows strung about. Various fencing with barbed wire, razor wire, electrical wiring and more. There are layers of security. This is just what the world can see.

Underground Iron Heights hold high security cells saved for some of the world's more dangerous mutants and metas. Most don't know about it unless they've done some time there.

That's where tonight begins.

"I don't understand why Iron Heights?" speaks a woman wearing a wig of a raven black pixie cut wig. Doris Zuel's bright red hair is quite an identifying feature. Right now, her and a small handful of others do not want that. They're driving a prison van. Something a little money replicated. Normally, this is a cheap operation, but two occupants caused some necessary upgrades.

"As we discussed earlier, our quartet is not enough. We need comrades in arms. Candidates like Doctor Snow and Nicholas Necro, both are in this facility. The guards won't exactly bring us their presence on a loan," speaks the smooth baritone voice of the ring leader.

"Do you believe the rumors. About the creature?" speaks a man that has to focus to keep his voice steady. It runs the risk sounding like his words come from an electrolynx.

"Typically, I do not believe in such rumors Mister Corben, but high probability stares back at me whenever I look in a mirror. It stares back at me now as I look at everyone in this vehicle. Remember the plan."

The Van pushes forward going through each security point like normal. It stops in the appropriate spot.

The backdoors open and the raven-haired Doris and a third man get out of the vehicle. Both are dressed in prison uniforms.

"Ultrahumanite for transport and relocation," Grey speaks.

That's when the "man" with the baritone voice lumbers forward. It's only when he moves forward that the driver gets out, too. The Van groans a little. Everyone presumes the weight shift of the van comes from the lumbering white ape. That's how it all begins.

By the time the league gets the call everything is in chaos. "CODE BLACK! CODE BLACK! I REPEAT CODE BLACK!" for those that know Iron Height's prison code that doesn't mean jail break. A jail break means just a few people. Code Black means they've lost control of -everything-.

Regular criminals, metas, mutants and everything inbetween begin their revenge, escape or some devious combination. A noble, or scared, few stay put or stay within the prison walls. Something like this -will not- be quiet.

In the chaos The Ultrahumanite, Giganta and Metallo make their way toward various points.

"You know your tasks," Humanite begins. I have the Doctor. Doris you have the Necromancer. Corben you have the creature. And all of you know my wishlist. We'll meet back at the rendezvous point."

"What about Prometheus?" Giganta asks.

Humanite chuckles, "He's getting more fire to show the world. He has the list, too."

Corben scoffs, "That stupid helmet."

The cause of the chaos are deep within the prison. Every entrance point is littered with various prisoners.
Diana Prince Diana Prince was about to enter a meeting at the UN building when her League communicator. Pausing to consider the message and its implications for only a moment, she continued into the meeting room. Holding her hand up, she offered an apologetic smile.

"My fellow ambassadors, I must excuse myself to assist with a League emergency." The statement drew a number of raised eyebrows and a hushed murmur in the room. What did that mean? Whose country was in danger? Or how many? League business was really the only thing that Diana would use as a reason to miss a meeting.

Continuing briefly she turned to her staff, "My staff, Ms. Castenza, Mrs. Ellison and Mr. Long share a full understanding of Themyescira's position and have my blessing to represent me in all matters up other than casting votes. If you'll please excuse me, it is rather urgent."

Without pausing, the tall Amazon turns and is suddennly gone. No flash, just a swirl of moving air as she sped out of the building.

Outsideas she rose into the sky, Diana crossed her bracers. With a flash of brilliant white light her meeting attire was replaced by her iconic armor as she turned toward Central City.

Not long after, Wonder Woman arrives at the outskirts of the city near the perimeter of the prison. Coming to a hover, she spoke into her communicator, "This is Diana. I am on site to the north-east of the prison."
Firestar While usually careful about changing costumes on the fly, Angelica is walking on the campus of NYU heading for home from a day of classes. Fortunately she doesn't need bring home books since she has a clear weekend. When the call comes in, she turns down a nearby alley and runs to the middle.

Once out of sight from the general public she shoots straight into the air to land on a building roof. She finds an exhaust port for a heating system and she presses her bag up and inside, but not far enough back it can fall down into the duct work. A moment later there is a flash of light and her clothes burn away, the bright yellow, orange, and red of the Firestar costume is revealed. Mask in place, she rises into the sky and turns towards Iron Heights. She does fly as fast as the Kryptonians, but once she is at the edge of the city she flies closer to the ground and turns up the speed to nearly 100mph to make it to the jail faster. A young couple sitting on the trunk of their car parked where they shouldn't be get the surprise of a lifetime as the streak of yellow blows past them.

As the perimeter of the prison comes into view, Angelica slows and then noting Wonder Woman's presence she flies to her side for the moment, still floating in the air,"Diana." she offers as a greeting and looks over the surroundings. Her face is a little uneasy, but a prison break will do that to a person.
Clark Kent Superman does get the call and he'll fly between the two. Looking over the prison, the x-ray vision does wonders. "Chaos is an understatement. You two go inside, Wonder Woman take lead. Firestar listen to her. Everyone's free," he says knowing this is going to take every member of the League to assist on this one.

Inside Chaos is what waits. Right out the gate there's a group of prisoners leading guards to the cells, locking them inside.

Members of the Serpent Society are working together to move toward the weapons room. Loud screams echo in the distance. Something utterly inhuman.

Further inside the prison Giganta speaks to someone wearing dark hair. He's wearing a simple prison jumper. They have dark eyes and explain, "Why should I work with you?" he asks.

Giganta smirks, "why should they have a team and we don't?" she asks.

"Fair," and then man focuses.

"htap a raelc!" he chants and a rush of kinetic energy pushes forward and blows open a wall.

This around the time the trio outside gather. They see a chunk of wall just shoot out like it got hit by a sledgehammer.

Iron Heights has the man floor, an upper floor, four common areas and just as many cell hallways.

And that's only what they readily told them.

Up to the heroes where to go.
Diana Prince Diana turns to Superman as he arrives. She nods, "Alright." Glancing to Firestar she nods, "Be ready. We do not know who we will encounter." She has a particular hunch but time will tell to that regard.

Lasso in hand, Diana leads the way down toward that freshly opened wall, her expression grime. This was not the sort of situation three of them were enough to handle - but emergencies do not wait for when it is most convenient.

Reaching the hole, Diana comes to a hover a few feet above the ground and looks through the fracture to view within.
Firestar Firestar looks up to Superman as he arrives. She nods to him and then to Diana,"I have you six." she replies in a firmer tone than the red head usually speaks with.

She flies after Diana and keeps her head on the proverbial swivel as the move to the opening. Since things have flown out of the wall making the hole, one palm is facing the hole, aimed above and to the right of Diana's shoulder,"If more building material comes at us, I will melt down what I can, just dont rise up and right if you can avoid it."

The two women float there for a moment, Angelica trying to watch the hole and their surroundings. She clucks her tongue softly three time, maybe a nervous habit or maybe just an indication she is thinking about something.
Clark Kent Inside the hole there are several famiiar faces including Giganta and her new associate. The pair trying to slip deeper inside and rushing toward Wonder Woman. It'sa mixture of various metas and mutants. One managers to shoot electiricty toward her. Another looks to be maybe one of the Tarantulas, a few people have that moniker, so it's hard to tell which without a costume.

Once Firestar shows up that's when everything gets interesting. "I've got eyes on the Fire threat." She looks toward the one deemed "Necromancer." "We need our friends. They went to see Snow," Nick heard rumors about her and nods.

"readel the dna tsorF relliK gnirb," he chants and a portal opens up stepping out Killer Frost and the Ultrahumanite.

The baritone voice rumbles in an amused chuckle, "Delegate," he addresses Diana by reputation. "The days ahead will be interesting," Ultra humanite nods and Killer Frost stands there.

A contrast to all of Firstar's fiery colors, Killer Frost has snow white skin and icy blue hair. Her hands build with frozen energy that only an icemancer can bring. Bears oif cold lance toward Firestar. Have the X-Men ever pushes her like this.

Diana may be the one that needs to get Firestar's six.
Diana Prince Diana Prince regards the gathering group within the prison carefully. Seeing Ultrahumanite, it is clear there was a plan for the League's heavy hitters. If not Superman, the others of the Superclan would be affected. Then Killer Frost. It doesn't take more than a fraction of a second to realize they're trying to counter any opposition.

Moving on instinct, she flies in front of Firestar. Crossing her bracers together, she forms a mystical barrier, a large disc like shape large enough to protect herself and deflect the icy attack from directly reaching her ally.
Firestar When fire and radiation are your existence, you notice the cold faster than anyone else. Mindful of Diana's proximity she starts to raise the temperature around her quickly, drawing heat and radiation to make a flame shield to turn up the heat.

Dr. Doom. Dr. Octopus. Emma Frost. Magneto. A legendary cursed Native American cannibalistic monster. The legendary Count Dracula. Firestar has seen her fair share of bad things.

When the Amazon crosses before her, she drops the building shield to not harm her ally and rises enough to instead light the area with a pair of maser beams that flash and sear anything foolish enough to get touched by it.
Clark Kent A mixture between the shield the bracers bring and the heat Firestorm generates doesn't quite cause the the ice to disappate. However, it's enough to effectively dampen it and consider it neutralized. The ice lances out and when it connects with the braces forms a cross shape. The ice hitting a bit of wall and flooring. Enough to make those pieces slick for a good while, but nothing dangerous.

Humanite smiles at the sight, "Foolish, but impressive, Delegate," Humanite smiles and he looks at the gentleman in the prison getup, "Nicholas. Take us to the creature," and Nick doesn't need to be told twice. "suraX ot su denS," the wizard speaks and the group vanish that's to a portal that opens beneath them. They blink out of existence for the moment.

The heroes are alone, metaphorically speaking.

On Firestar and Diana's right are those members of the seperent and the Wrecking crew gather.

On the left a speedster rushes by.Near them a man that caushes eletriciticty to speak out of their hands. Someone iwth wings.

It's a wave of people. Some are hard to pick out because they lack costumes or weapons. Others it's a bit easier the second they flash their powers. It's a seemingly endless sea of them. But maybe that's what Humanite wanted. Chaos.
Diana Prince Diana Prince moves away as the ice blast is deflected, giving Firestar a clear shot to her beams.

As the instigators disappear, she frowns. "Superman, they have a sorcerer with them. And Ultra Humanite." He needs to know.

As the other prisoners begin to emerge, she turns. They're the current threat. And there are many of them. It was time to even the numbers out.

With an expert throw, her lasso flies toward the prisoner trying to unleash electricity and cinches his arms to his sides. Then she begins to swing him on the end, pulling him around toward his peers, intent on bowling them over and eliminating the number prepared to attack she or Firestar.
Firestar The vanishing act makes her scowl and Firestar rises enough to not get hit by slinging baddies or those that get hit. She aims the maser beams, thin and intensly hot lances of energy to lash at the members of the serpent crew. After a second or two, she aims her palms at the Wrecking Crew. They are strong and tough so they can take it.

Her hands blast a beam from each and she uses them to sear the upper legs of all of the Wrecking Crew that doesn't get out of the way. Perifpherally she minds the winged prisoner and she tries to keep an eye on Diana's blind side, flying near as she dares to cover her. There is a lot of people and only so much someone can do at a time. Unfortunately for her she isn't Amazon or Kryptonian, but somebody has trained her.
Clark Kent Everyone bowls over as Diana flings the electrokinetic over to them. People bowl over like pins as they fall over. All of them crying out in pain. A bunch of them are subdued for the moment. People groan and try to pick themselves up, but Diana can subdue them with a smidge more effort, if they're willing to try round two.

Screams come from the Serpent Crew. Those beams ring true. They cry out in pain. Yes, they can take it, but still hurts.

And the upper legs cause pain to go through them. Diana's blind side does fill, but it's nothing Firestar can't handle. Another focus blast or something would cause pain or them to run off.

Firestar isn't alien, or amazonian, but she can hold her own. right now she can say the wrecking crew went down due to her amongst other criminals.

The pair are busy for a bit. Eventually, the duo along with Superman outside, do bring the prison up to a working order. It takes a lot of elbow grease. It's like the superhero equivilant to crowd, and riot, control. The work is hard, sweaty and a little grueling.
Diana Prince The fighting goes on for longer than she likes. All the while Diana is trying to think about where the group earlier went. She certainly wished that Zatanna was here. It would have helped. Immensely.

As the break out becomes more contained so that the security teams can regain control, Diana looks to Firestar and Superman to make sure they're okay.

"We need to find those responsible. They teleported somewhere. Deeper into the prison, I think."
Firestar Firestar practices restraint, even against the dangerous ones. When the winged one passes closer to Diana than she likes, he gets a needle sized hole through one wing. Lift changed. Crash and burn. Physics. She's a little too good at such things.

Once she sees things are taken care of, she lowers to the floor next to Diana,"I have been wondering about them too. I know among the three of us I am least useful as scout, but we do need to look deeper. We have multiple exits and any could be secured." Someone trained her.
Clark Kent It takes some time, but the League do get most of it under control. The only thing that's out of place is a few missing names that will stand out, but for now will be swept under the rug. There is enoughf or the League to parce over once they get some time to reflect.
