Owner Pose
Ivory Ivory's flat isn't on downtown manhatten - much too expensive - but in the somewhat cheaper bronx, set in the top floor of an old brick building. At some point it might have been a factory, but now, that floor was turned into some flats, one of them Ivory's studio and Appartment. When Trini rings, the door opens to what appears a mixture of clothes manufactory and living room. Two Sewing machines, a pair of embroidery machines and a station to print designs are covered with some protective coverings, a computer with a graphics tablet makes another workstation and hangers with jackets on open racks fight with cardboard boxes with other clothes. Then there's the large couch with a coffee table made from white faux leather, and a kitchenette. "Hi again... you were Trini, right? I mean that was what Kimberly called you if I remember correctly."
Trini Kwan     Trini is wearing the same outfit Ivory saw her in last, same day and all. Trini and Kim had something to do before Trini decided to later take Ivory up on their offer. She enters and takes a look about with a smile upon her lips. "Hey again! Yes, yes that's right." She finds herself wandering over to one of the nearby sewing machines and having a curious glance at it.
Ivory Gesturing to the sofa, Ivory chuckles as Trini takes a look at the sewing machine. "I thought you wanted to see designs, not my tools. That one is just to alter some things, the real workhorses are over there." they say, pointing to the embroidery and printing station.

"Anyway, tea of coffee?" they ask as they move to the kitchenette to prepare. "The designs I made for the presentation are on the rack with the suit bag at the end, if you want to look on your own."
Trini Kwan     Trini glances over at Ivory, eyes widening for a moment, "Oh! I'm just curious about everything." She laughs faintly and turns her head towards where they point, glancing at the embroidery and printing station. Then, her head turns to Ivory, "Oh! Tea would be great. Thank you!" She starts to wander over to the rack with the suit bag, starting to look over the designs.
Ivory "Any particular color?" Ivory asks as they start the kettle before joining Trini at the rack. A couple jeans jackets, then a lot of T-shirts. While not the most extravagant, the designs have two things that stand out: A lot of cute cats doing stuff in the decoration, and in general, they don't seem to go for either feminine or masculine looks, instead riging the middle.
Trini Kwan     Trini glances over at Ivory when they ask, "I'm very partial to yellow. It's my favorite color." A pause. "Oh that's cute!" She remarks at one of the cat designs. "Yellow is... well, besides being a bright color, it's very easy on the mind. You know they say if you paint your room yellow and spend a lot of time in it, you'll be more relaxed." She looks over at them now as she speaks.
Ivory "Yellow tea... Ohhh! I think I got some somewhere I hope." Ivory notes as they help a little with holding out the different pieces. "Well, Yellow Tea is a delicacy of sorts I was told, though yellow is also like, the color to attract bees I guess?"

Chuckling at the particular cat design Trini pulled out, a Siamese cat holding up an erlenmeyer flask. "Into science or just because of siamese cat's being someone yellow?"
Trini Kwan     Trini nods when Ivory states they were told Yellow Tea is a delicacy. She then responds about bees. "That's also something, yeah. Yellow tea would be great if you have some! But I don't wanna impose."
Trini looks over the design with a smile about her, responding, "Both, actually!" She is both interested in science and the siamese cat. She looks at one cat design where a small calico kitten is reaching out its front right paw to the viewer, like it wants to touch the viewer's face. "Aw...!"
Ivory Ivory chuckles as Trini asks if she imposes. "Nah, I got a full cupboard of different teas. I might have something in it that fits."

"Oh, yea, that one is cute, but the corporate said it was a little too... Kitch? But then again, I got it for the webstore then. They didn't like that one either." Pulling a hanger with a shirt out, on which a white persian was tossing a rugby at a black shorthair. "They said why not use an animal from some football team in their denial."
Trini Kwan     "Oh, wow. I bet you've got a lot of tasty different teas then." Trini keeps her smile about her, though it fades when Ivory explains why they rejected. "That's sad, because that design is cute." She moves her hand to try and touch the shirt, if let, feeling the fabric between her fingers.
Ivory The chuckle returns, drowned out by the teakettle whizzing. "I'll be right back, ok?" Musing as they started to prepare the tea in the kitchenette, the whitehead rables on. "Wellm that's corporate in a nutshell for you."

While they serve a yellow tea, Trini's fingers find the items. They're nothing special, but at least decent. Judging by the label in them, they are ecological thouhg. "Anything you like really?"
Trini Kwan     "That is..." Trini adds on softly, seeming saddened about it, but then perks up when she's asked if there's anything she likes. "All of these are wonderful. I like the one here." She gestures to the one with the rugby on it. "And the one with the paw reaching out, but... the siamese one too... ooh they're just all so great!" She beams a smile at their direction.
Ivory "I hope that some of them get taken for the next collection, but you can't have all of them in there. But Print on Demand is most of my paycheck. uh, I couldn't give you a card earlier... want one?" they asks, searching their jeans pockets to bring up a little white card, a cat face embossed and written with black lettering. Ivory Valentine, Desigher, White Persian Cat Designs.
Trini Kwan     Trini nods in understanding. As much as she'd love to have them all, she can't. "Oh! I'd love one, thanks." She moves over to gently take the card from them and looks it over. She smiles at something on the card. "White Persian Cat Designs. I like that name." With care, she slips the card into her pocket. "Thanks!"
Ivory "Well, my logo is a white persian cat, and I live with one. So, fitting, right?" With a chuckle, Ivory brushes over their head, the white hair starting to ripple and fold up into cat ears. "So, what do you do, if not looking at things at tiny designers?"
Trini Kwan     "Right! Right, yeah!" Trini responds happily. She then answers Ivory's question, "I'm a physics student right now. And I also practice Martial Arts." She figures she could, but it's always polite to ask, "Can I have a seat?"
Ivory Ivory says, "Oh, sure! Careful, there might be some fuzz on the sofa, but that's it with living with a cat," Ivory notes, moving over to the large seating arrangement with a smile. "Physics, hm? So, why do cats land on their feet if a jam toast always lands on the jam side?""
Trini Kwan     Trini goes to find herself a seat, laughing at the mention of fuzz. She gets it! There's a laugh at Ivory's question and she giggles before asking, "Do you really want me to answer that?" A mischievous grin on her face. "Because I totally could!"
Ivory "I can only answer the cat part: Magic." Ivory muses, sticking out their tongue a moment as they offer the teacups. "The magic of having a tail."
Trini Kwan     Trini gives her a wide grin, responding, "Something like that, yeah!" in a very amused manner. She gently takes the teacup and thanks them, "Thanks!" before having a sip, careful not to burn herself. "This is very good."
Ivory "I hope so. Because cats are magical." Ivory muses, taking a sip of their own tea. "There's something to it, but it can't compete with my favorite. But then again... that's a special mix I make myself, and really, you don't want to know what's in that mix."

"So, how come you know Kimberly?"
Trini Kwan     "They really are." Trini's sweet smile staying about her features as she listens. There's a tilt of her head in curiosity as to what's in the special mix, but she doesn't ask just yet as Ivory asks about Kimberly. "We're friends from high school." Trini responds. "We've known each other for a good while. She's a really good friend." A fondness comes to her eyes as she talks about Kimberly. She then asks, "What about you?"
Ivory "High school? gosh, I dropped out to make my label, and it worked out." Ivory explains, shrugging, the cat ears on their head swiveling a moment. Totally not an accident, as they are deliberate in doing that. "I met her in the coffee bean some year ago."
Trini Kwan     "I'm glad it worked out!" Trini replies, taking a moment to admire the cat ears on their head, but gets back to the conversation, "I see. I do enjoy that place. You can meet wonderful people there." She looks back to the cat ears again, "Those look cute on you."
Ivory "Those?" Ivory muses, the ears flicking twice. There's no human ears to be seen, because... those are Ivory's ears.

"Well, I got to hear, don't I?" they add after another sip. "If you could design your own shirt, what would that look like?"
Trini Kwan     Trini seems to realize, "O-Oh... Sorry." She nods her head a few beats. Ivory changes the subject with a question about designing shirts and she replies, "Probably something to do with... a sabertooth tiger doing a Martial Arts move, like a kick or something. I think that would look pretty cool."
Ivory "Sabertooth martial Artist?" Ivory chuckles, searching on the mess of the couch table for a pen and paper to try and sketch something, then stops. "Uh, what kinda pose? Im'm not good in that department, but I know how to break someone's nose to stop a bully."
Trini Kwan     "That's a good thing to know!" Trini responds. "I can teach you more self-defense stuff any time you want to learn!" She then sets her teacup down and decides to strike a pose for Ivory. She reaches her right foot up, extending it in the air like she's kicking it towards a person's face with her arms out at her sides and a smile on her face. "I can hold this for a while if you need me to!"
Ivory "Better not, the last time I tried to learn Martial arts, I tried to take out an eye." Ivory note with a wink before they eye Trini striking the pose. A few moments the pen scratches on the paper, leaving a rough figure. The whole pose was just reduced to the positions of the bones.

"Got what I need." they say as they put the paper to the side, eying it from the side. "Now I just need to fire up the computer to sketch it out fully. Just neeeded an idea what kinda pose to go for."
Trini Kwan     Trini nods a little as she starts to relax, standing up straight and then soon moving to sit back with her and enjoy her tea. "Sometimes... Sometimes you have to do that, you know? Take out an eye. I mean I--I wish no one would have to resort to such a thing, but, sometimes it's necessary. Did you know that Bruce Lee taught to bite?"
Ivory "You don't want to take out your training partner's eye though. I mean, comeon, training isn't meant to harm someone. And I had to beat too many bullies to stop fighting like that." Ivory says with a sigh, moving over to the computer, starting it up and then opening up an art program. It takes a couple more minutes in which the sketch is transferred and the outlines take shape, then more and more. "You got any idea what kind of fur coat a sabertooth would have?"
Trini Kwan     "Oh! Oh no, no of course not. I more meant it as like... a technique to know in case you're ever in a situation where you really need to fight and hurt someone like that. Training is supposed to be a lot more... lax, yes." Trini watches as Ivory moves over to the computer. Trini muses aloud, "Probably something short, like a lion or a tiger."
Ivory "Short is good, but coloration? I mean, those are died out aeons ago." Ivory inquires, the figure gaining a few hints of short fur, prominent saber teeth and then some rough definitions of shadow. "Just need to define the coat, you know?"
Trini Kwan     Trini nods her head a few beats and then leans forward to rest her now empty teacup on the table. She leans back on the sofa and relaxes. "Yes, yes definitely. I'm thinking... yellow, orange, black. That would... That would be all right." She closes her eyes now, seeming to take this moment to just rest.
Ivory Ivory turns the head eying Trini as she talks about yellow, orange and black, then chuckles as they return to work on the color palette, creating a yellow-ish base coat with darker orange stripe pattern and dark blotches in an attempt to create an interesting setup. "Something like that?"
Trini Kwan     Trini opens her eyes and turns to shift her form on the sofa so she can look over at the computer screen. She smiles and nods her head a few times, "Yeah! Yeah, something like that..."
Ivory The image gains form as Trini watches, eventually staing as they stand up. "So, you't want that on a shirt? Just about twenty minutes once I get it on the printer. Or a jacket? That'd more take a few hourse while those beasts rattle."
Trini Kwan     "Oh wow, a jacket? You don't have to go that far. I... I appreciate any of it, really. A shirt would be nice enough. Thank you so much for this." Trini sounds so touched by this. "How much do you want for this?" She asks.
Ivory Ivory hmms a moment, then shrugs. "You want it exclusive or can I put it in the catalogue?" they ask, opening their webstore interface to show the prices they usually charge, which are rather normal for printed shirts.
Trini Kwan     Trini thinks on it, then decides, "Catalogue, so that way we can share your beautiful creation with others, whenever they want it." She smiles sweetly, and then reaches into her pocket for her wallet so she can pay for it after seeing the prices.
Ivory "Just got to choose a base shirt color then, and I got to warn you, yellow and yellow don't work well together sadly." Ivory notes as they upload the design to the catalog and starts the foil print to prepare the printer in a bit.
Trini Kwan     Trini takes a moment to laugh about the yellow on yellow. "Yes, yes. How about a black t-shirt? I think that would look nice." Once she gets the money out of her wallet, she pockets her wallet and wanders over to hand her the bills. "Thank you so much, for all of this. You do really good work."
Ivory Ivory raises an eyebrow but then nods, starting a second poil print to cut out a white passepartout a little larger than the color to add under it. "Black works with a little trick, but sure." Taking the cash to add to their wallet, there's a chuckle.
Trini Kwan     Trini steps back from them after handing the bills and watches them start to cut the print, curious as to how they do everything. She nods a little at their words but stands silent for a few moments until she comments, "Wow... That's so neat!"
Ivory Putting the print to the fabric was actually rather fast: the shirt went onto a stretcher, the white foil was peeled free and put on a transfer sheet before getting stuck onto the shirt. A large ironing plate went down and fused it to the fabric, then the transfer sheet came off and the actual print was added onto the white outline, carefully aligning it and once more the iron came down, burning the color onto the white. The transfer sheet was pulled off and within a few more moments the shirt was done.

Folding the shirt up neatly, Ivory presented it to Trini. "And here you go."
Trini Kwan     Trini gently takes the shirt and holds it out in front of her to look at the print on it. "Wow. This is amazing. You've done it so fast!" She clutches it close to her chest. "Thank you -so- much!" She exclaims. "I'll treasure this."
Ivory Ivory says, "The magic of technology! just... better don't ask what the printer and transfer machine had cost, or you might seep bloody teas about how I could affort that." Ivory jokes, offering a smile. "You can come back for more if you want variety.""
Trini Kwan     Trini, with the shirt still clutched to her bosom, bows her head a little. "I will. Thank you for this. And yeah, they look expensive. I won't ask." She laughs a bit. "I appreciate it. I'll have to show this to Kim and talk to her about it."
