Owner Pose
Jubilee Jubilee sits cross-legged on the couch, staring down a thousand-piece jigsaw puzzle on the coffee table in front of her. Only the borders are finished, and the rest of the pieces are in the box bottom, scattered on the table, and all over the floor. She holds a pair of scissors in one hand, and a rubber mallet in the other, studying the box top, which bears a picture of the puzzle: a giant taco with arms, legs, and a face. "Hmmmm....now I want tacos."
Remy LeBeau Sitting on the floor opposite Jubilee, with one arm wrapped in a bandage and his eyes looking like he's put on a lot of eye shadow today, Remy smirks and reaches over and motions for Jubilee to hand the mallet over. "C'mon cheri, we bot' know dat ain' how ya supposed t' do it." The man says with a wink of his ruby eyes and he nods once. "A taco does soun' mighty delicious right abou' now."
Jubilee "Noooo..." The petite Asian pulls the mallet back as if Remy could have even reached it. "I think I found one." Carefully, she picks up a piece, tries to fit it, and then trims it with the scissors. Pounding it into place, she tilts her head and nods. "Perfect. See? That IS how it's supposed to work."
Remy LeBeau Remy slowly takes his hands away in case she decides his fingers need trimming. He's had enough blades for today. Thank you very much. "I-uhh- I'll get the glue. And somet'in' t' drink. You wan' somet'in?" Remy asks as he pushes himself to his feet and smiles to the woman on the couch.
Jubilee "Another rum and coke? Pleeease, Mon Cheri?" She does her best impersonation of Remy. Which isn't very good. At all. "I almost have his arm done. But his hand looks all janky cause two fingers are here, and the other two are facing the wrong direction. I think this puzzle is defective."
Remy LeBeau Remy with his back to Jubilee lifts his hand to his face and groans softly as she states the obvious. And he giggles even. He takes about two minutes to pour the drinks but he eventually returns and moves to sit on the couch next to Jubi and extends his hand out towards her with her glass with more rum than coke, like how he likes it. "It's been a while since we sat an' talked, huh?" He asks, examining the puzzle more than her.
Jubilee Nodding slowly, Jubilee shrugs, still staring at her puzzle. "Well you're always busy getting beat up. I mean like today, all you had to do was walk on by. But no. You had to attack 2 guys in a horse suit. You'd have been fine if the horse's ass hadn't had a crowbar." She had no idea what had happened to Remy and she didn't pry. It was easier to make up her own story.
Remy LeBeau "Yeah, we'll, it didn' look natural. I had t' do somet'in'." Remy says, giving the girl's side a press with his elbow before leaning back in the couch deep and spreading his arms out, careful with the drink in one hand and watching his friend solve her puzzle, awfully, but in her own way. "Still didn' tell me what you been up to Jubes."
Jubilee "Mostly just training. Logan says I'm a liability. Well, he's thinking it anyway. I think it's because I get distracted easily...." She remembers to take the drink from Remy, and sips it, sputtering. "Geez did we run outta coke?" She giggles and gives him a gentle nudge in return. "Besides I don't blame ya. I never trust anyone in a costume where ya can't see their face. It automatically makes them a villain."
Remy LeBeau "But ya trus' Logan an' he's got t'at ugly ass cowl t'ing." Remy says jokingly before he oofs and bends over where she elbowed him as he was hit there earlier too by a girl much stronger than Jubilee. "Careful wit' de cajun mon ami. I bruise easily an Rogue would get ornry. Again." The x-man winks.
Jubilee Jubilee frowns and looks down at the elbowed spot. "Man, that guy really worked you over." Then she looks up and studies his face for a moment. "Has Rogue ever stooped being ornery?"
Remy LeBeau "I can t'ink of a few times." Remy says with a smirk as he looks up to the ceiling as he recalls some incredibly fond memories. After recalling and shaking his head he sees Jubilee staring at him and points touching her back. "Work on your puzzle girlie." Followed by a sip of his drink.
Jubilee Jubilee scrunches her nose and rubs it, blinking, a little tipsy. "Yeah, I guess Taco Guy isn't gonna put himself together..." She smiles, then, looking up at Remy. "Thanks for bein' here...It's been kinda tough lately."
Remy LeBeau Remy's hands switch the drink so that his finger nails press agaisnt Jubi's back and starts to scratch her kindly. "Oh, gonna tell yo' favorite cajun what's troublin' ya?"
Jubilee "Oh...nothin' much," Jubilee giggles. "The kids on the team are mean and they don't wanna play with me." She shrugs with a wry smile. "I can only assume it's cause I'm short."
Remy LeBeau "It's enough t' bug ya." Remy says, meaning that it's not nothing, somethings bothering her enough to be bothered. "You are pretty short." He teases and winks again. "Do ya need me t' beat up a buncha kids for ya Jubes? Jus' ask and I'll be like Anakin on dem." Again, he teases.
Jubilee "Logan banned me from his jigsaw puzzle stash," she lies, mournfully. "And this one guy calls me Sparkledink. My sparkles are the best. The. Best."
Remy LeBeau "I ain' arguin' wit' ya dere." Remy agrees and takes another sip before chewing on a bit of ice for a moment, still scratching slowly.
Jubilee "You're awesome." Jubilee yawns and blinks slowly, no doubt lulled by the ample rum in her drink. "I'm glad Rogue has ya. Cause if she didn't then I wouldn't either." She settles back next to Remy and yawns again. "Sorry that horse's ass wasted ya," she laments sleepily.
Remy LeBeau Remy slowly stands up, and moves his drink to the side table so he has both hands to help lay Jubilee down on her sofa and then reaching up he grabs the blanket there and brings it down on top of the x-man and smirks down at her.
Jubilee "Thanks Remy," Jubilee mumbles softly and sleepily. "Take the bed...Rogue will be here soon. K?" She may or may not hear his reply, as sleep pulls her under, her rubber mallet still clutched in a hand beneath the blanket.
