Logan Logan flags down Chuck in his office. "I gotta introduce ya to some of the strays. Without ya 'round, couple of people kinda wandered. This is why I questioned myself," Logan says honest on the matter. He feels bad about it. Like somehow he's not enough to bring them under the banner.

A text message goes out to Lorna Dane. "Meet me at the Mansion. Now," Logan pauses and then he looks at Chuck. "Might wanna do a scan of her mind. Last I seen her she didn't act like her. I hope it wasn't her, but think sleeper cell. Somethin' kinda changed her," he says thinking on it a bit knowing there may be some unintentional work.
Lorna Dane Lorna Dane had reasons for visiting the Mansion. At the very least, she needed to talk to Professor X about the. strange events around town involving a certain green haired villainess.

Logan's message was rather timely then, and she suspects he has questions, much like many others. Still she is anxious as she comes to the mansion, knocking rather hesitantly on Professor X's door. Surely he can set things right?
Charles Xavier Charles was indeed in his office, the man wearing one of his classic suits and rested in his wheelchair, the man's kind eyes looking up towards Logan as Wolverine attempts to convince Charles of what should be done. "A stray? There are no strays at this school, Logan. Only people who have yet to see the road that lies ahead of them." He chuckles ever so softly. "But, this school's doors will always be open to those who need it. Thank you, Logan, for welcoming them. I would love to meet this friend of yours."

He reaches to gently pat Logan on the shoulder. "You're enough, Logan." He remarks to him, turning his attention to elsewhere when Lorna knocks on the door. "Oh, she's quick." He remarks to Logan. "Please, come on in!" Charles remarks towards the door.
Logan "Trust me. There are strays. Best thing to call em'. Few people that just left when their faith was lost," again more of that guilt coming up. His ocean blue eyes looking to Chales for a moment. "I know they'll be open, but people need to see they're more than open. They got more than the light on. Fer now, they need you. Kinda like how a flock needs a Priest," Logan is not the most religious man. However, the analogy fits in his mind.

Then Lorna is knocking, Logan will open the door for chcuk after he gives the invitation .
Lorna Dane Lorna Dane bites her lip as she steps in, peering between Logan and Xavier. "Hey Logan, Professor. What's up?" she seems a bit tired and abut anxious too, not really sure what to expect. It's not like Lorna is a regular around here and as such she is often out of the loop of things.
Charles Xavier Some people just leave when they feel as though they have no reason to stay. Charles knows that feeling well. He's seen peopleof that mentality come and go, live and die. A look of sadness comes across Charles's features as he practically /feels/ Logan's guilt. "Let your mind be at peace, my friend. I'm sorry I was not here before to help you...but I am here now. For you. For all of you." He smiles warmly at the man, and as Logan moves to open the door for Xavier, Charles swivels his chair around to be able to look at Lorna more directly.

There's warmth and kindness in his eyes as he regards her. "Hello young lady." He gives a cheery little grin. "Ms. Dane, if my memory serves me well." He chuckles. "I've heard good things about you. I hear you're friendly and you do well with the children. But...I wanted to extend to you a formal welcome to the school. May it be your home or sanctuary for as long as you need it."
Logan Logan just smirks at the warmth. That's what people need. That's something he can't give them. Even -he- feels welcomed by Chuck's words. Yes, it took a little bit to get there, but even Charles broke through the exterior. So, he understands that some people need to hear that voice right now. Just bask in that wamrth a little bit. Feel welcomed and go forward from there. To be the port in the metaphorical storm.
Lorna Dane Lorna Dane does relax a bit at the sight of the Professor. It's been a while since she's seen him, and he is one of the few people he truly trusts. "Professor, it's good to see you again." she nods, "I appreciate that..But for now, I'm happy to serve as a reserve member only.." she sighs, a distant look in her eyes.

"Right now, I have a lot going on in my life, but I'm happy to help out here from time to time as needed." she nods to Logan, "It's been a while Logan, how have you been?"
Charles Xavier Maybe that was who Charles was.

A beacon of hope to a people so heavily persecuted by prejudice and fear. A revolutionary who attacks with words of peace and inspiration. He doesn't attack with weapons or warfare, but instead answers hatred with a message of endless love for both homo sapiens and homo superior, as so-called. But to Charles?

He's just one person trying to do what he believes is right.

Even still, Charles has a light rumble in his throat, a soft chuckle. "And you, Lorna." Charles nods though. "A reserve member then you will remain. I know the X-Men are happy to have you." Though he seems to nod softly. "Though if I might ask, Lorna....speaking of a lot going on...how are you really?"
Lorna Dane Lorna Dane nods slowly, mulling things over in her mind, it seems. "Well, there is the matter of my father, who claims to be trying to stop the resurrection of Apocalypse. I want to believe him, but keeping Juggernaut in his employ makes me a bit anxious.." she shrugs, "As for other matters, I suppose Alex and I just just trying to keep a low profile in Mutant Town, trying to live a normal life which is always tricky when trouble keeps rearing it's ugly head.."

As she speaks, Lorna frowns softly, massaging her temples. "I continue to suffer mild headaches from time to time..Perhaps I am just overworking myself..Hearing rumours of someone looking like me causing all sorts of trouble across town, such as kidnapping kids, attacking the X-men.." emerald eyes dart briefly towards the unusually quiet Logan, suspecting this meeting has something to do with that.
Charles Xavier "I've heard of such news that your father is in Egypt, trying to stop this being who one might believe is some kind of messiah." Charles seems to frown. :"It's disturbing, but we can only hope that Erik has made progress in his search. As for Cain...I hear he's been meaning well, been gentle around the premises. Even Scott and Jean gave him their blessing. Where they are now, I couldn't tell you, only the hope they both return soon. Living a normal life is a difficult task..."

He sighs. "But I wish you luck regardless. The world is changing, but only time ewill tell if it is for the better."

He turns his eyes towards Logan, then back to Lorna. "I can attempt to solve that particular dilemma, but it will require searching your mind and potentially combatting the source. Are you comfortable with that possibility?"
Logan "I've seen the copy. Hell even fought her n' see her throw herself at Havok," Logan says honestly on the front with Lorna and the copycat. "We sure it ain't you, but with somethin' messin' wit' yer head?" it's an honest question. There's no malice to his words, he's just trying to narrow down the prospects.

Then Chuck brings up the mental scan. That's something Logan will want to be present for. When the time is right to do that.
Lorna Dane Lorna Dane scowls a bit at that, shaking her head. Thoughts of Cain trudging around the school unhindered has her wary enough, but someone probing her mind is not something she has ever been comfortable with...Although she always trusted the professor.

"What would be the point? We've already established that someone else is trying to impersonate me..We should be focusing on trying to locate the imposter."
