Owner Pose
Firestar Angelica is at the gym. Right now she is riding a staionary bike and listening to an earbud in the left ear. She is all on point, loose fitting black sweat pants and a yellow muscle tee that isn't too loose and isn't painted on either. She isn't ashamed of her figure, just tired of people staring...so maybe she's a little self concious.
Kimberly The gym, a perfect place for Kimberly to keep up her practice. Of course, the olympic gymnast had other places to practice on the beam, on the ropes, and she couldn't punch or kick bags here for fear of breaking them...so she instead comes to head to the cardio equipment, headed for the treadmill. It was about the only piece of equipment she could go on that people didn't tend to notice superhuman abilities quite so much...
Firestar Angelica glances up as Kimberly comes in. She offers the other woman a smile if their eyes meet and a little finger wave to go with it. She watches her for a moment and then gets back into her own workout again. No less creepy if a woman is staring and she isn't. Just wanting to acknowledge a familiar face.
Kimberly A familier face! Kimberly lifts a hand, a little wave of greeting as she presses a few buttons and the track starts to move, the ranger beginning a little jogging along on the treadmill. It was nice, comfortable, normal...so far, no monster attacks.
Firestar It is nice to get a sweat on with no monsters involved. Angelica pushes herself harder and beads sweat on her forehead. Peaceful is not something either of them get often. Maybe today will be different.

Would it be the lives of heroes if that were the case? Across the gym on some benches something shady is happening. Money passing hands and bottles of something liquid traded. Angelica sighs and looks forward,"It's steroids, let the owner deal. Let the owner deal."
Kimberly So far, Kim's breathing was smooth, even and comfortable. She was a ranger, their endurance was legendary...but she was keeping it simple, a steady pace as she continues to work along, though she does catch Angelica's comments, giving a soft little chuckle before nodding.
Firestar "Not my circus, not my monkeys." she mutters to Kimberly and keeps on keeping on. The people go their ways and Angelica keeps looking ahead. The dealer walks past and asks,"You see something red?"

She looks at him from the bike and shakes her head. Not really looking scared, more uninterested. That doesn't sit well with the thug, but he scowls and walks away calling her something. Angelica doesn't hear it, but Kim might notice a world that rhymes with twitch as he skulks off.
