Lois Lane     It has been a busy week for Lois. Deadlines, exciting stories, mentoring her intern. She got shot at for the first time! She's really learning the ropes there. This means that cooking for tonight needs a bit of an assist.

So it is that Lois uses her time wisely. Most of tonight's meal was actually prepped last night. Which just left a bit of actual cooking and setting today. And she only had to call Martha twice! Okay, four times, but two of those don't count cause they were within minutes of a previous hang-up. It's Lois math.

She has the house ready to entertain. Clean, tidy, and with some light music playing in the background. A kind of light jazz. Not like elevator music, though. It's actually nice.

The reporter is waiting not far from the door, looking at her phone. Every once in a while, she laughs softly at something ridiculous her protege is sending her. She is, oddly enough, actually relaxed.
Ivory It was a date. A date that was long overdue. And as Ivory steps up to the bell down at the entry of the Brownstone, they are not alone. Dressed with one of their typical jeans jackets, the motto of the day is a black shorthair cat reading a book with a white persian. And they are armed with a large box on the arm, possibly about a foot and a half square and half a foot high.

Looking back over the shoulder to her companion, they smile, then wink. "Are you ready to meet them?" they ask, chuckling a moment before reaching out to ring the bell.
Sabrina Spellman Sabrina Spellman Gives a soft smile and nods as she reaches out to move one of Ivory's stray hairs to make it more neat . She looks down at herself and snaps a finger using a touch of power to remove any dust on both of them. " Yep."

Sabrina is wearing her red sweater, but she's pulled it down to expose her shoulders, complimented with a nice black skirt and some cute penny loafers, and, of course, her black hair band to keep her blond hair from her eyes. Deep red lipstick helps to add color to her shirt instead of take away.
Lois Lane     The sound of the doorbell causes Lois to look up from the phone. She fires off one quick text, ordering her protege to cease sending ridiculous pictures and badly crafted AI headlines for them to write together. Though she has to admit, Luthor Corners Whale Sausage Market was a great one. The image was unsettling, though.

She puts her phone away by setting it in a little bin by the door. That signals she will have no distractions tonight. A quick look in the mirror to adjust her hair and she is ready to pull the door open and invite the couple in.

"Welcome!" she calls out warmly before the door is even fully opened. "You must be Sabrina! I'm Lois." Wow, and there's this moment where Lois is going in to see if a hug is in order. If there's no hand thrust out to stop her with a handshake, she'll hug.

As for her, she's wearing a form-fitting purple blouse nad a long, white skirt. It's comfortable enough, dressy enough, and modest enough to suit her aim for the evening.

"Clark just got pulled away due to an emergency, but I am praying he will be back soon!" The life of a reporter, right?

"Oh, and please, come in!" Next hug is for Ivory!
Ivory "All presentable?" Ivory asks as the hand brushes the escaped hair back behind the ear, the ponytail keeping most of them in check. A little contrast between the two, Ivory trying to get any hint what gender they chosen invisible, while Sabrina did put out a little. Jeans, a T-shirt under the jacket, though that shirt was also from the own company. Just a different motif. Four cats around a table. A white persian, black shorthair, Abessynian and a Maine Coon.

"Hey Lois! Careful, don't squish the box, ok?" they greet Lois as the door opens, offering a wink before a hug could come in and crush the contents of the flimsy cardboard balanced on the whiteheads's arm. But a one armed hug is returned.

"May I introduce? Sabrina Spellman, Lois Lane."
Sabrina Spellman Sabrina Spellman Beam a bright, real smile, and when he's given a hug, she will give it back, even with a French kiss kiss on each cheek. " Nice to meet you," She says in that soft voice of hers. She chuckles, "The world keeps turning. Events don't stop just because we wanna have dinner," She says in response to Lois talking about Clark.

She motions to the box. " We brought a present," She says softly before she pulls out a bottle of wine." Here, wine too," She says .. did she cheat? Yes, but she didn't wanna be empty-handed.
Lois Lane     Lois accepts the wine with a smile. "That is so thoughtful! Thank you!" She takes the time to properly admire the label.

Once they are properly inside, she will close the door. Without Clark to help her welcome them, it takes a bit more attention for her. Nobody seems to have a heavy coat for her to help with, so that's easy enough! She will show them to the living room and gestures to the couch, "Make yourselves at home. I will make sure this wine is chilled so we can enjoy it together." She isn't away long. The kitchen is very close.

She will settle into one of the chairs near the couch. There is a coffee table there, decorated with books of photography and art. There are a lot of pictures on the walls, too. Photos of Lois, Clark, and his family. Lois' father is rarely to be seen there. It's a touchy subject.

"Can I get either of you something to drink while we wait?" she asks.
Ivory Ivory puts the cardboard box down on the couch table before putting the jeans jacket back into the hallway, because it is a jacket after all. "Making myself at home? I forgot to bring shelves then!" they joke as they settle in next to Sabrina on the sofa, gesturing to the box.

"I hope you like Cheesecake. Not the magazine cover type. But sure, you have something planned? I'm ok with anything. How about you Sabrina?"
