Rose Wilson It is night time and the corner club has people meeting each other tonight, like most Saturdays. It's a regular club but one frequented by the nearby Union and its evil gangsters. Infiltrating this New York social club, the renegade mercenary Ravager disguises herself as Rose Wilson to mingle amongst several people, even those her own age surprisingly. She eyes several evil businessman nearby who talk amongst themselves idly, but it seems from the way Rose looks at them, the group of them must be evil to the core.

She glances away to the nearby grandfather clock, which chimes the top of the hour and she steps away from the group, heading down the hallway by herself.

Toro Thomas Raymond is out on the town, mixing with people as best he can and trying to learn the modern way of doing things. He's no longer dressing like it was 1966, which is a good thing, but the young man is still learning. Thankfully he has an ID that can get him in here. Once in, though, he's taken another look at the clientele and.. hmmm. So, he takes his beer over to an out-of-the way niche to look at the clubgoers a bit more carefully. This young woman brushes by him on the way down the hallway, and he looks back at her as she heads off. Huh, everyone has a place to be, but me...
Rose Wilson Rose Wilson bumps Thomas as she walks down the hallway toward the bathroom where she's stashed her weapons and her mask ahead of time, but pauses and slows down as Thomas camps the area. She glances at him back over her shoulder, "Watch it," she mutters to the young man, pausing by the bathroom as if idly looking for her phone.
Toro Thomas Raymond holds up a hand as if to say 'hey, it's cool' when Rose glares at him, and he turns back to look at the crowd and sip his beer.
Rose Wilson Rose Wilson takes out her phone as she waits there for him to leave the hallway, and she smirks a bit as he stands there drinking a beer, "Do you like stuff like this?" she asks him as she stands there too. After all, she's dressed casually, he's dressed casually, maybe she can pump him for information.
Toro Thomas Raymond looks up, startled, as she addresses him. "Ah, um, that is.. kinda just checking out the club. Y'know?" He looks back out at the people mingling and points the neck of his beer bottle towards a knot of people. "Not really my crowd, I think," he says, then takes another drink. He looks at her phone. He still cannot get over how small they are! It's like Star Trek! "Meeting someone here?"
Rose Wilson Rose Wilson holds the phone at her side as she shrugs a little, "Not really," she says ambiguously, "Thought it'd be cool but it's kinda boring. Filled with a bunch of jerks," she tells him. She thought she could bomb the place and be done with it, so she literally is bored.
Toro Thomas Raymond quirks a smile. "Yeah, it is," he says. "Too many suit-types." He's decidedly under-dressed for this place, indeed. He considers. Then swirls what remains of his beer in the bottle. "You wanna get outta here, go check out another place?"
Rose Wilson Rose Wilson hmms and makes up an excuse so she has time to plant her bomb, so she says, "Uhh well, I haven't even had a drink yet," she tells him idly, "Can you go get me somethin? I'd...appreciate it," she tells him and smiles slightly.
Toro Thomas Raymond perks up and nods. "Sure thing," he says with a slight smile, and walks off towards the bar for... d'oh. OK, she looks like a classy dame, so martini it is. "One martini, dry, one olive," he says to the bartender, once he has the man's attention.
Rose Wilson Rose Wilson finally gets rid of Thomas and goes into the ladies room, so she can change into her miscreant costume and retrieve The Bomb. She walks to the end of the hallway and opens the door to the hallway, heading downstairs to plant The Bomb.
Toro Thomas Raymond returns minutes later to find, of course, no Rose. He didn't see her pass the bar, so... So, martini in hand, he heads down the hallway and taps on the ladies room. No answer. So, down the hallway he goes to check out where she went. Probably went to ditch him out the back. Well, at least he could confirm that. "Hey!" he calls down the stairwell, looking down it as well.
Rose Wilson Rose Wilson is hiding in the rafters, readying to drop down on Thomas and stab him but she pauses and lets him stand there wondering where she went to. She never meets anyone her age. How depressing. The dark of the basement doesn't give anything away, but after some investigation, it is more apparent something is going on as the basement tick, tick, ticks.
Toro Thomas Raymond is about to turn around and go back to the noise of the club but he's dealt with bombs before, and the ticking reaches his ears. He drops the martini and then... bursts into fire. Well, that kind of explains the cheap clothing. Seething plasma racing up his slim body, he dives down the stairwell to land and see what he can do - usually this involves flying the thing out, but some he can just melt. So, he drops down and looks for the thing, knowing he probably just has minutes. Or seconds!
Rose Wilson The basement is kept up by a series of pillars. The Bomb is strapped on the base of the far pillar, where it tick, tick, ticks, threatening to blow the foundation and pretty much collapse the building. With everyone in it. Eyeing Thomas as he goes in the basement, she thinks about what her father would do and she probably lost her chance to totally stab him now that he's a menace. She drops down from the rafters and closes the basement door while he tries to deal with The Bomb, locking it.
Toro Toro whips around as he hears the door close and lock, then looks back to the bomb. OK, C-4. Good. Good, Chemically stable. He holds up his hands to either side of the bomb and raises the temperature rapidly, flashing the detonator and the explosive material to ash; some care has to be taken to not melt the concrete as well, but then he checks out further pillars for more bombs, just in case, his body throwing the entire basement into eerie flicking luminesence. If it's clear, then he heads for the door to deal with it and, hopefully, the bomber.
Rose Wilson The Ravager has set up a bomb on the door too, or rather a dangerous tripwire that will go off if the heroic Toro opens it. That might do the same job as The Bomb. She is retrieving her stuff when Toro comes up the stairs and heads back down the hallway toward the back exit in her disguise as Rose Wilson.
Toro Toro is a fire-controller, not a locksmith, so he turns up the heat to vaporize his wy ay thought the steel basement door - only to find another bomb on the side of the door, which he destroys as well. The flaming young man hovers a few inches off the floor so he doesn't cause the cement to bubble, and looks around the stairwell. "Nothing..." he frowns and drops his flame, leaving him in his costume - a dark blue bodysuit with faint gray piping breaing up the contours. "Huh, who would want to do this..?" he mutters as he heads up the stairs. He plans on heading out the back door, since both his outer clothing and drink are now gone.
Rose Wilson Rose Wilson is out back now that Toro has melted both her Bombs, speaking to a few people who are wondering just what is going on. She sighs, hoping for a bigger fireball. She makes note to find this young man and stab him next time. "Hey, somebody is tryin' to set the building on fire," she tells some of the people, letting them deal with it. She then heads up the street.
Toro Toro's vaporizing a steel door has certainly set off a fire alarm by now, and he sets off the emergency alarm by going out the back door. He turns briefly to make sure that people are aware of this - and they sure are since the sprinklers are now going off! - and he vaults into the air. Flame on! And he's gone.
