Sarah Rainmaker     It's a beautiful night...the earlier storms of the afternoon giving way to clear skies and stars twinkling above, with a faint scent of fallen rain still in the air. While there are puddles here and there, it was at best a light rain. And because it was such a beautiful night, this time Dani received a visitor, who was waiting to fly her back to the city just outside the Mansion's camera range.

Because in her words. "It's a lovely night, and I could use a lovely girl to enjoy it with me. Are you in?"

And so now, she's setting you down on a deserted path, before taking your hand in hers gently. "I hope I wasn't pulling you away from anything?" she says gently. "I just...I like the aftermath of storms. I rarely get to enjoy them with someone else."
Dani Moonstar     Dani smiles, "Not pulling me away from anything, Sarah." She squeezes your hand in her own, looking quite happy to be out in the aftermath of the storm. "I love being out /in/ the storms, but the aftermath is great too. I just always enjoyed watching the thunder and lightning crackling across the sky. Always thought there were Thunderbirds surfing the clouds." She gives you a warm expression. "And I always enjoy time with you. No matter what's the occasion."
Sarah Rainmaker     Sarah looks over to you, squeezing your hand as she smiles affectionately at you, nodding in agreement. "I love storms too...it feels..." She smiles. "Probably...a lot like you do when you're flying with Brightwind. I can feel all of it, the patterns of wind and water, how they combine. Mm, I could take you up sometime, but not if there's a lot of lightning. I can deflect some of it, but I wouldn't want to risk you." she says thoughfully.

She leans over to give ou a soft kiss on the cheek. "Mmm, but any excuse is a good one, yes." she agrees with a grin.
Dani Moonstar     Dani laughs a bit, returning the kiss as she nods, "Yeah, I try not to ride during the storms, but I love going up afterwards in them. Or before they hit, just seeing their presence on the horizon." She leans in against you, walking easily along, "This is just so perfect though."
Sarah Rainmaker     At the lean the hand shifts from holding your hand, to sliding around your waist, hugging you one armed against her side. "Mmmmhmmmm..." She walks along in companionable silence for a little bit, then murmurs. "It isn't the same, though. Not like home. The sky always seemed closer there. And obviously, clearer..." she admits, glancing over. "But...like you could reach out and touch it, almost."
Dani Moonstar     Dani nods, "Yeah, especially in Colorado. They don't call it 'mile high' for nothing, after all." She grins, "And they called it that before pot became legal there, too." Her eyes dance a bit as she rests her head on your shoulder, "Still, it was a pretty impressive storm."
Sarah Rainmaker     That draws a giggle from Sarah, before she turns her head to kiss her forehead gently. "...it's funny you mention Thunderbirds, actually. I have to make a storm for a...a storm spirit." she says admits, a tone of dry amusement in her voice now. "I sort of got into trouble with him."
Dani Moonstar     Dani blinks, "Wait, you make deals with spirits? I don't... think I've ever met a spirit." She grins, "So how did you get into trouble with a storm spirit, Sarah?"
Sarah Rainmaker     Sarah gets a bemused look. "No, I do not usually make deals with spirits, and I had not met one, until this particular one tried to fry me and my mechanic with a lightning bolt and blow us off the road when she was giving me a ride home." She sighs. "Apparently I stopped a storm he..or it...I don't know?...had been working up, and he was all upset at me for spoiling his fun." She smiles. "But she...ah, her name is Mercy, she talked it down, and got it to agree to not act up as long as I made it a perfect storm at some point. Out over the ocean, away from where it'll harm anyone." she says. She looks thoughful. "She's Blackfoot...didn't know that when I first went to her garage, but she's pretty neat. I'll have to introduce you, maybe when I go back to check on the bike she's working on."
Dani Moonstar     Dani grins, "Well, I don't know him personally, but I might be able to ask Thor for a hand if you want. Maybe a professional favor?" She shrugs a bit, not /exactly/ teasing, but not entirely sure if Thor would be game for it either. Then again, it's Thor. "Or I could ask Storm. She could do that too. Or is this something that only you could do?"
Sarah Rainmaker     "Oh, I can handle it...it just will take a little work and the right circumstances so I don't wear myself out completely doing it." she says simply. "Wait, you know Thor? Of course you would..." she says thoughfully. "Who's Storm, someone at the school?" she says curiously..
Dani Moonstar     Dani nods, "One of the teachers, actually. She can control the weather, a lot." She chuckles. "Whenever a storm hits campus, we know something's bothering her. It's a pretty good indicator of the mood she's in."
Sarah Rainmaker     "Huh...different than me, I have to think about altering things, it doesn't usually reflect moods." She grins, a little wickedly. "Or else we'd constantly be having wild, passionate storms every time you come over." she teases.
Dani Moonstar     Dani blushes a bit, then laughs, "Yeah, something like that. But Storm's pretty much in control most of the time." She grins over at Sarah, "I can't help it! Well, maybe I can, but where'd be the fun in that?"
Sarah Rainmaker     "I didn't say I was objecting..." Sarah says playfully, leaning over to nuzzle you gently. She sighs a bit. "Hmmm...though...speaking of coming over..." She tilts her head. "...do you want to introduce me to Sam at some point soon? Or...would you like to meet Priss first?" She's giving her the choice of awkward!
Dani Moonstar     Dani grins, "Well, I'd love a chance to meet Priss... and I know Sam would like to meet you too." She hmms, "Suppose it might be easiest to catch Priss? Though anything I should know about her, first?"
Sarah Rainmaker     Sarah considers the question. "Yes, but she thought it might be overwhelming to throw it all at you at once." She sighs. "...actually, she told me I shouldn't mention the stripper part either, but I thought you were probably able to handle it." She considers a bit. "Let's see. Well, she's beautiful. Mulatto. You both have the first in common. Originally from Louisiana, though she...didn't have the best childhood, so she's moved around a lot."
Dani Moonstar     Dani nods, listening closely as she smiles at the 'beautiful' part. "Yes, well, I wouldn't judge someone based on what they have to do. Really, I want to meet her now." She doesn't sound jealous at all, resting her head against Sarah's shoulder as they walk along the park, "Louisiana? Mmmm. New Orleans, or deeper in the bayou?"
Sarah Rainmaker     "I haven't poked, honestly." Sarah admits softly. "Like I said...it was...rough for her. I figure if she wants to talk about it, she'll tell me when she's ready." She smiles a bit. "Mmm...she's more than a little bit of a tease. Kind. Very confident in how she looks and about having people looking at her, obviously." she says wryly.
Dani Moonstar     Dani mmms, "I can see that." She glances over towards Sarah, and smiles a bit, "Yeah, I can't see how you'd find /that/ attractive at all." Her eyes dance a bit, as she's obviously teasing.
Sarah Rainmaker     Sarah arches a brow, her eyes twinkling back. "Well, I liked it in you too, so I suppose it's my weakness. Confident women." she says lazily. "With sexy braids and long hair and who like wearing Viking cosplay." She grins.
Dani Moonstar     Dani laughs, "Well, I didn't punch one of my teachers in the face last night, so that's something..." She shakes her head, "He thought he could explain the plight of the Native American to me. Not exactly the smartest thing to do, yaknow?"
Sarah Rainmaker     Sarah scowls. "He did -not!- Is he one of those smarmy whitesplaining people who thinks if they just explain why they're being jerks, it'll make it all go away?" Her arm squeezes you a bit. "...I have punched people for that..." she admits, after a moment. "They really had it coming though."
Dani Moonstar     Dani shakes her head, "I don't know, he never talked that way to me before, but he got all uppity when I called my Reservation a 'Rez'." She looks at Sarah, "Apparently dude didn't know that's what we always called it."
Sarah Rainmaker     Sarah blinkblinks. "...seriously, that's what he got his panties in a twist over?" she says, a bit bemusedly. "That's just...weird. Of all the things about Native American history he could get huffy about." She shakes her head a bit.
Dani Moonstar     Dani shakes her head, "So yeah, kinda lost my temper at him then stormed off. But yeah, I think he needs to shut the hell up about things he doesn't know about, and I don't care if he is a teacher."
Sarah Rainmaker     Sarah hmmms. "Well....if he's usually okay, maybe he just needs to be taught a bit himself. Dani explains it all." she says with a playful curve to her lips. "Maybe you can bring flashcards!"
Dani Moonstar     Dani smiles, "Awww, I figured I'd just scalp him." She winks at Sarah, "But yeah, I really shouldn't have lost my temper, but that guy telling me how I should feel about my people getting wiped out..." She shivers a bit, a small kernel of rage bubbling in her at the notion.
Sarah Rainmaker     Sarah slows, turning into you more as she slides her other arm around you too, snuggling into you comfortably as she soothes. "I know. At least he wasn't being a deliberate ass about it, though it's not much better to have someone talk down to you..." she says with a faint frown. "Hope you don't have any major courses with him this year."
Dani Moonstar     Dani chuckles, "We'll see... I don't think I will. I'm looking forward to things starting soon. The drama teacher's already talking about Shakespeare for this year, which just sounds awesome."
Sarah Rainmaker     "Oh? Didn't know you were a drama geek girl." she teases gently. "Did you do a lot of shows and plays before?" She smiles a bit. "I never really got to see a lot of them...well, other than a bootleg of Wicked, once."
Dani Moonstar     Dani shakes her head, "Not really, but Kurt got me reading Shakespeare when I first got to the school... never really stopped it. Really, I just like his prose, it's so brilliant." She hmms, "Well, we'll have to change that, I think you'd like to see some plays."
Sarah Rainmaker     "Oh, is that the drama teacher?" she says curiously. "Or another of your many friends at school I haven't met yet." she murmurs playfully. "Mmm, I never could get into most of his plays, it took me out of things to have to transate in my head. Though I admit he's got some really great put-downs and quotable quotes. I did sort of like Macbeth." she admits.
Dani Moonstar     She grins ruefully, "Yeah, Kurt's the drama teacher. And Shakespeare has a ton of great quotes, and plots... I mean, so much modern stuff is based on his work, it's really great to read the originals."
Sarah Rainmaker     "Well, I don't necessarily want to be a PHilistine and all that." she says with a smile. "And if you're going to be doing drama, I'll have an extra reason to come see a show you're in, won't I?"
Dani Moonstar     Dani laughs softly, "I think so, I'd love for there to be an adoring fan in the audience." She smiles, and leans up to lightly kiss Sarah's cheek.
Sarah Rainmaker     "Well, I'd think there would be at least two...' she says amusedly, grinning at you a bit. "Unless Sam isn't a drama kind of guy." She kisses your forehead gently. "I'll be there opening night though, for certain. Front row if I can."
Dani Moonstar     Dani grins, "I'm sure you will, and I'm sure he would be too. I don't think he's that into drama, though. But then, he definitely seems to be different..."
Sarah Rainmaker     She raises a brow at that, resuming ambling along with you as you talk. "Different from what you remember?" she says curiously. She's still not sure exactly how much Dani's new age has affected her memories of people. She doesn't seem to be forgetting people or anything, but Sarah has been watching, a little bit concerned that she might not catch something that's wrong just because she doesn't know Dani as well as she'd like.
Dani Moonstar     Dani smiles, "Well, he's... different. In a good way." She shrugs a little, "He's always been brave, a bit of a goof, but now... he just has a confidence he didn't have before. You'd like him, I think."
Sarah Rainmaker     Sarah hmmmmms, then nods a bit. "Well...I sort of expect that. I mean, you like him, and I know you have generally good taste." Her lips curve up playfully. "So I'll probably like him too...I mean it's not like I hate guys or something just because I'm more attracted to women." She sways her hips against yours a little as you walk. "I can even appreciate from a purely aesthetics level, sometimes. Just I much prefer..." she says, sliding her arm more around you to playfully rub your stomach then sliding her hand higher. "Certain curves, if you know what I mean." She teases.
Dani Moonstar     Dani laughs softly, "Whereas I... I guess I'm good either way." She smiles and slides up against you, arms hooking over your shoulders as she leans up for a soft and warm kiss, whispering, "I love these curves, though..."
Sarah Rainmaker     Sarah stops at that, turning into you again as she slides her arms around your waist, then leans down to meet your lips as she kisses back, savoring it for a moment, before she nibbles. "Mmmmm, I appreciate that you appreciate. I work hard to get them." she says amusedly. "We can't all be heavenly girls riding around on flying horses, after all."
Dani Moonstar     Dani mmms, grinning up at you, "Well, I normally don't get caught out of the sky by a storm maiden, either." She winks and gives another kiss, then nestles close and starts walking again, sighing happily. "And such nice curves too..."
Sarah Rainmaker     Sarah laughs at that, grinning at you as her hand drifts back down to its happy home on your hip as you snuggle back into her. "Mmmm, you should know, you saw most of them the other night." she says archly.
Dani Moonstar     Dani laughs, "And I loved every moment of it, too... you saw quite a few curves yourself, if my memory serves." She gives you a sly wink at that.
Sarah Rainmaker     "I did!" Sarah agrees cheerfully. "So, what's the next step after naked boob snuggling, anyway? Hot tub? Sauna? Skinny dipping?" she teases. "I -do- want to do this properly after all." She nuzzles your hair playfully. "Or is the next date the gift of lingerie date?"
Dani Moonstar     Dani laughs a little, "You're asking me? Like I know?" She grins up at you, "That lingerie idea sounds pretty nice though... something lacey?" Her eyes sparkle a bit as she looks slyly at you.
Sarah Rainmaker     "Something...there are a lot of nice looks besides just lacy, after all" she murmurs gently, smiling at you. "Hmm, maybe we should just go to a nice lingerie store somewhere where we can judge for ourselves which looks best on the other person? Try before we buy, so to speak."
Dani Moonstar     Dani smiles, "I'd love that. Our next date?" She mmms up at you, sliding one arm around your waist as you walk together, "We haven't really planned it out that much. And I still need to meet Priss."
Sarah Rainmaker     "Hmmm...why I'm not against that for a future day out, she'd probably find that a bit much for a first meeting." she says with a chuckle. "Maybe we should stick to something, mmm, more neutral for location? Go out to dinner somewhere together, someplace we can chat without being bothered too much."
Dani Moonstar     Dani laughs, "Point. Wasn't thinking we meet Priss there. But yeah, let's do a dinner together and meet each other." She smiles up at you, "If that works for you?"
Sarah Rainmaker     Sarah nods thoughfully. "Well then. I think it's your turn to pick where we go, isn't it? Any thoughts?" she says curiousy. "Might as well hash ideas out now. I'm not sure what your favorite restaurant is, for one."
Dani Moonstar     Dani grins, "Well, I'm thinking seafood. Maybe a hibachi place, or sushi?" She looks over at you, "What would you like? I don't want to pick something you'll hate."
Sarah Rainmaker     Sarah looks thoughful. "I don't think I've been to a hibachi place, actually...is that the one where you grill at the table?" she says curiously. "Or am I thinking of something else? Really, as long as there's some variety I'm willing to try things, so I have something to nibble on besides you." she notes cheerfully.
Dani Moonstar     Dani smiles, "That's it exactly." She laughs softly, "So yes, let's do that." Her eyes flicker over towards you, "And we'll find a place that also has sushi too, let you try some of that."
Sarah Rainmaker     Sarah hmmmmmmms, a little wary. "Well...I'll have to trust you there, I don't know anything about what's good in that..." She pauses. "Though probably no eels. Ew. Or anythign slimy." she clarifies. "Like...sea cucumber." She shudders a bit.
Dani Moonstar     Dani shakes her head, "Actually, eel isn't slimy at all. It's actually rather good." She grins, "We'll have to get you trying some of that. Though sea cucumber... never had that myself."
Sarah Rainmaker     Sarah wrinkles her nose, for all the world like a child being offered boiled brussel sprouts for the first time. "Well...I suppose I can at least try it..." she says, sighing as she pouts a little."
Dani Moonstar     Dani smiles, "You think I'd make you try something bad hon. Trust me." She smiles and kisses you again, then hmms, "It's getting a little late. Suppose I should be heading back before they send out search parties..."
Sarah Rainmaker     Sarah mmmms, then shifts crouching down to scoop you up in her arms. "Oh, well, can't have that...I suppose I'll have to snuggle you while carrying you alllll the way home..." she says with a giggle, the wind picking up around the two of you before she raises into the air. "We'll have you back before anyone realizes you 're out after curfew!" she says cheerfully, arrowing over towards the mansion as the pair disappear into the cool night sky.
