Owner Pose
Tatum O'Neal Tatum is about to say more to the man beside her. One hand slowly curls into a fist as she gets ready to deal with him. But then the other woman approaches and steps in for her. She looks to the obvious pain the man is in and can't help but smirk. She doesn't know what this stranger is, so keeps her own power in tight.

After the man promises he will leave not only Tatum, but anyone else alone tonight, and backs off, Tatum looks to Faora with a smile. "Well, I was kinda looing forward to punching him in the throat, but this way I don't get kicked out of the nightclub. Thank you."
Vulcan Vulcan is trying to figure out if this is some kind of subtle sign. Does she work for Lucifer? Is she some other kind of supernatural being? This is all so WAY above his paygrade and while the Encyclopedia Volcanis DOES have some actual useful data on magic and the supernatural, its all general, not applicable. He blinks and says "Well. I had it once on a Tequila and it seemed like a more asthetically pleasing way to drink beer." And, he is 19 and hasnt drunk a lot of beer. "Miguel, pleased to meet you." Should he say Vulcan? There is no entry for this. "Trying the drink doesnt sound like a bad idea."
Angela Davis The woman smiles, "Angela. I don't work here, it's an open mic night, and well... Daft Punk tributes are just fun. The music is such a joie de vivre, I feel, a true rarity in this day and age." She looks curiously at Miguel, "Well, Miguel, if you want to take a sip, I wouldn't be offended." Indeed, when the drink is served in front of her, she slides it over towards him, lips quirking just a touch.
Superwoman     "Punching someone in the throat is not the most advisable way to keep them from bothering you in the future. A sub-clavicle fracture is far more effective." Damaris offers softly to Tatum, before she releases the man and lets him on his way. She returns to her seat, and her very large rye whiskey. She takes another long drink.
Vulcan Vulcan takes a sip of the drink, impressed. It is better than beer but as a non experienced drinker he hasnt gotten used to it yet. Real Men drink beer though at least that was what a lot of his foster parents thought. "Daft Punk? oh neat, I'd heard that song on the radio. Those guys with the robot heads, right?
Tatum O'Neal Tatum leans back and her smile grows. It's a quirky smile, lifting higher in one corner then the other. "Breaking bones is effective, but I find the possibility of crushing a windpipe is so satisfying. Talking shop with the other woman, she starts to follow. She asks a passing waitress to get her another candy apple martini. "My name is Tatum," she says, not offering a hand. "May I join you?"
Angela Davis Angela grins, "That's them, yes. I'm not normally one for techno, but for them I'll be glad to make an exception." She tilts her head, and takes her drink back, looking curiously at Miguel, "So what brings you here? This doesn't seem to be your kind of place."
Vulcan Vulcan really, really, really really really really really really really really, REALLY needs to get at least SOME kinda Batman skills or something. "Is it that obvious?" Yes Miguel, it is, but its ok, you're not picking your nose or anything. "I'm seeking some clues to something I think the owner might know. He directed me to the bar. Then you talked to me at the bar I am trying to figure out if this is some kind of hidden symbol thing or I was to vague and he treated me just like some other customer.
Superwoman     "Its a free bar." Faora notes, "Damaris Daval." she offers softly. "Crushing a windpipe can be fun. I prefer nerve strikes." she admits. "And bone fractures. They don't cause suffocation." she notes, next. "It takes longer. Hurt more, in the long run."
Angela Davis Angela shakes her head, "Oh no, the owner and I have some fundamental... disagreements." She grins, "Sorry, I just saw you looking a bit lost, and figured I'd see if there was something I could help with. Or, if nothing else, just saying hi to a new face is always fun." She still does seem to shimmer in that dress, sipping her drink as she looks quite relaxed at the moment.
Tatum O'Neal Sitting herself down, Tate ooohs at the mention of what Faora prefers in way of attacks. "Yeah, I love nerve strikes. Nothing quite like inflicting excrutiating pain with little effort on my own part." She winks to Damaris as she jokes. "Nice name. Don't think I've ever heard that before." She makes herself comfortable, leaning on the bar. "So, not that I mind, but what made you decide to come over and help?"
Vulcan Vulcan finds the dress...nice. He blinks and refocuses and sips his beer. He does not cough it but gets drunk quicker than he wants. "So...you are like...the...opposite?" He scratches his head. He begins checking the Encyclopia but the booze is not a good mix for that and finds entries on Sri Lanka
Superwoman     "I have a thing about pushy men." Damaris states. "And I don't particularly like it when people push their agenda on others." she offers softly, before taking a long sip of her whiskey.
Angela Davis Angela chuckles, "Opposite... yeah, that's probably a really good way to describe my relationship with //him//." She grins and slips a card out of her purse, sliding it over towards Miguel, "I should probably get going Miguel, but... it was nice talking to you. Feel free to give me a call sometime." She smiles and finishes her drink, then rises gracefully to her feet. "Oh, and good luck finding what you're looking for." With that, she winks at him, sashaying her way towards the exit, the guitar on stage being a loaner after all.
Tatum O'Neal Nodding her head, Tatum rolls her eyes. "There always seems to be one in every bar." She seems about to say more, when she looks down as she takes her phone out of her pocket. "Now? Seriously?" SHe grumbles. "You'll have to excuse me. Work calls." She slips out of the chair just as the waitress is coming with her drink.
