Owner Pose
Kurt Wagner     He had to borrow one of the Xavier's vans. Its not a sexy vehicle. Not at all. He is kinda annoyed driving it. That much is apparent to anyone. he had a fast, zippy, sext electeric sports car where he could be smug and smart in. Now. Minivan. After he parks the vehicle, Kurt piulls in a breath. "First date minivan." he says with a soft sigh. "I haff a present for you." He reaches under the seat, and pulls out a box. He passes it over to Lorna. "When you get home, there are flowers and candy for dessert." he says it gently. "Thank you for a wonderful week."
Lorna Dane Looking at Kurt, Lorna smiles. "Minivans have more room to make out in anyway." She teases gently. The green haired mutant has her iconic locks in a chignon and very minimal make up. Her clothes however she's kept covered under a long London Fog trench coat, being mysterious but for her tight, dark leather clad calves and silver strapped heeled sandals. She looks at the box. "May I open it?" she asks first, looking over at Kurt.
Kurt Wagner     A spaded tail tip settles on her knee. It is a gesture of affection not a come on. His SMile is gentle as he tilts his head. He adjusts his tie. "They know me here. Expect to be fawned over. I have nicht brought a woman here before." He pauses. "Thank you for coming out with me. I want to just ... enjoy the night."
Lorna Dane Examining the gift, Lorna smiles when she opens it. She studies the geode carefully and leans over to kiss Kurt's cheek. "It's wonderful. Thank you." She tells him warmly and tucks it out of sight in the van. Undoing her coat, she slides it off, looking to the restaurant. Her outfit is fairly simple, a white blouse loosely draped with the smooth curve of her back bare and leather leggings, hugging her athletic legs and curves. Sliding out of the van she looks at Kurt with a smile. "Ready? I'm starving."
Kurt Wagner     He rushes around to get out of the van and open the door for Lorna. He pops open the door and helps her out. His hand is courtly. "You look so beautiful." he says with a small smile. "They have a vegetarian meal available tonight. I checked. Nancy is a little green, and slightly porcine. Do nicht stare, ja? She is a wonderful cook." he moves to open the door to a slightly run down restaurant front for her.
Lorna Dane Watching Kurt rush for doors, Lorna wraps her arms about her self with a smile. "You know I can open doors, and in so many ways." She pause as she catches up and puts her hand on Kurt's hip. "Relax. I adore green and I'm the princess of mutant island. We have all sorts there. I won't be rude." She tries to reassure Kurt, standing perfectly straight as she smiles at him.
Kurt Wagner     His lips caress her cheek sweetly. The place is a little worn and a bit rough. But cared for. Lovingly cleaned. Nancy gushes at Kurt. He gets squeezed. She is heavy set, bussomy, hippy, a bit pig faced. She stares at Lorna Dane. "You brought a princess here, Kurt?" She drops Kurt, and curtsies. "A freak'n princess in my place?" She smoothes out her hair. "Your highness! Pl-please, make yourself at home!: She slugs Kurt. Hard. In the arm. "You cannot date a princess!" She hisses at Kurt.
Lorna Dane "Oh, please, we're in your place. I should be curtsying to you, Kurt says the food here is incredible." Lorna offers warmly, placing a hand on her chest as she talks to Nancy. "There were days growing up I would have loved to afford a meal in a place like this." She adds looking around at the decor with a comfortable expression. However intimidating her siblings or her father might be, Lorna balances it with warmth.
Kurt Wagner     The porcine woman slugs Kurt again. 'And she is nice." And another. "You sly devil. I should slug you!" So she does. She calls out as she runs into the kitchen, "Vegetarian meal your highness?"She calls out. She is excited. Kurt chuckles, and moves to pull her chair out for her with his tail. His smile is gentle and warm. "She is a big fan of Genosha. She would move, but she loves Mutant Town." His smile remain ins place. "Steak for me!" He calls after Nancy She snorts, "I know what you like!" She teases saucily from the crowd.
Kurt Wagner     From the kitchen, rather.
A young girl who looks like her mother comes by and fills their water glasses, then fills their wine glasses with a pleasant, if pedestrian blush. Their only wine.
Lorna Dane "Please." Lorna asks when offered a vegetarian meal. When Kurt pulls out her chair she sits and studies him. "They've practically adopted you. I half expected you to call her mother." Ouch, so formal, is she that stiff with her parent? Likely. She smiles as a young girl pours them wine. "Thank you so much." She tells her and shifts her focus back to Kurt. "So, this place is special to you. I'm sure it will be a lovely meal then." She nods and settles her hands in her lap.
Kurt Wagner     "Practice what we preach. If there is a place in the world where I belong, it is here." Kurt says quietly His shrug is smooth, "And mother? If I see my mother, i will probably have to be told to stop punching her.' Kurt slides over to take her hand in both of her hands in his. "Uhm. Hallo, liebchen?" he says finally. His grin is sweet and his fingers caress her hand. He tilts a little smile. "Thank you again. And you just being here made Nancy's day."
Lorna Dane Holding his hands, Lorna meets his eyes. "Hello. I'm glad you asked me out. I can't remember the last dinner date I had that wasn't take out in between grading and work." She murmurs.
Kurt Wagner     "This might just be the best meal of the week then." Kurt notes, "Und I am a good cook. You should let me cook for you. I mean, Margali, the woman who raised me, my actual mother, if you will. She thought I would be a bachelor for a very long time." He tilts his head to regard her. "She was right."
Lorna Dane "I love a home cooked meal." Lorna says and turns his hands palm up to study and play with his fingers idly. "I was raised by an aunt. She just taught me how to color my hair brown and act normal."
Kurt Wagner     He has broad fingers. But then she has seen them before. They are thick, heavy, strong, and dextrous. His fingers gently curl up a little. "I can do that."
His head tilts to the side. 'Can we have a good conversation about honesty, consequences, and repercussions?" He asks her. Something delicious is being cooked in the kitchen. Smmells like stir fry? Maybe? Vegetables and steak. Spices? It is a unique, but pleasant sort of odor.
Lorna Dane "A conversation about honesty? What's on your mind?" Lorna asks. She trails her finger tips along the length of his fingers, curling against his finger tips. The skin on skin contact grounding her a little so she's not distracted feeling out all the metal around them in the city.
Kurt Wagner     "I like you. Und you understand, intellectually, what this could end up at, ja?" Kurt smiles at her. His fingers twitching a couple of time. His tail slashes once, then slides under to loop about her ankle. The gesture calms him. "This is as good as it gets, leibling." He tilts his head, meaning his looks. "I get spit on. I get called names. you are sterong enough to take that." He pauses. "But are you strong enough when it happens to your child?" Kurt clears his throat. 'There is nothing wrong with me. In terms of advantages, my mutation has no downside. I will pas along mein genetics, mein appearance to mein children. We can have fun, and we can date, and we can have a wonderful time, but if one days holding a baby who looks like me has no appeal... we have an expiration date. It might be years down the road. Just keep that in mind, ja?" His smile is even, smooth, and well-practiced. That is when the meal shows off, spiced, delectable steamed and stir fried vegetables in a delectable, light, savory sauce with a hand plated pasta steams delicious flavors into the air a few skewers of asparagus decorate the plate. Kurt's meals is a far simper affair, a nice steak, grilled with asparagus and thick cut fries.
Lorna Dane "Do you always lead in with that?" Lorna asks and opens her eyes wide as she draws in a breath. "There's an awful lot of if in all that. I inherited my father's mutation after all." She pauses, smiling as their meals are set and she admires the care set into them. "I imagine you've had to say this a number of times, and I can't guarantee I'll be the last, but I enjoy every moment we do have just...do you really look at every girl like this?" Lorna searches his face slowly.
Kurt Wagner     Truth? Kurt's lips twitch. He almost lies. "Nein." Kurt says finally. "I do nicht." He blows out a breath. "Some relationships are just for fun. They are going nowhere. It is fun. It is warm. it is, sometimes, well, just sex/" He says that quieter, to not traumatize anyone.
Kurt pushes a hand through his hair, looking awkward and vulnerable. "Nein. I... just you und Jimaiine, when we were young." Kurt says finally. He sits there, looking absolutely terriffied for a moment.
Lorna Dane Blinking, Lorna considers his words. Swiftly she leans across the table and kisses him lightly. "I've learned it's best not to assume anything. I grew up an orphan and now I have a terrorist father turned Imperator and I'm a princess." She offers Kurt a hesitant, nervous smile. "It's sort of anyone's guess where this will go, but...if it does go to that...children...and all, don't assume I wouldn't be every bit as stubborn and proud of them as I am of you." Her brows furrow as she watches Kurt.
Kurt Wagner     "Mystique is mein mother. She ... disposed of me within hours of mein birth. Literally, I was raised with the romani in a circus." Kurt regards her. "If you are willing to deal with mein baggage, I can deal with yours, ja?" Kurt asks. his tail tightens for a moment. His hands gives hers a squeze. "now. Eat/" he offers. he will pause, and he quietly prayys over his meal. It is a swift, quiet, mumbled rayer. She is almost certainly used to him doing it from his younger days.
Lorna Dane Lorna wiggles her ankle, teasing his tail lightly. "I'm eating, I'm eating." She murmurs and carefully cuts small bites. There's a happy hum, savoring her meal. "Mystique really lost out, you're such a wonderful man." She murmurs. She works on her meal, not wanting it to get cold. "One of my ex's was a circus acrobat."
Kurt Wagner     "Nein. I would nicht have been had I been raised by her. I would likely be a terrorist, teleporting the heads off of people and being hunted by the folks I call mine family today. I will not lie and say I haff made mine peace." Kurt can cut his steak with a butter knife. He gestures with his loaded fork. "I do love my family though. My -real- family, and I will forgive them anything. Even totally my car before a big date." Kurt teases himself.
Lorna Dane "Oooooh, a big date? Who's the girl?" Lorna teases, relaxing a little. "I'm always afraid some day I will be expected to choose between Genosha. It would break my heart." She murmurs and tries the wine.
Kurt Wagner     She's had a lot better. It, though, actually is 'generic' enough, as a blush, it does not detract from the meal in the slightest. It just doesn't add anything. Her vegetables? They are perfectly cooked. Nancy has culinary gifts on top of her mutant abilities. Kurt carefully chews his steak. "I think you might just be excluded from the Mansion and the like for a bit if we were to go to war with Genosha. If only to not make you pick." Kurt makes a deeper face. 'Which is a lot worse in other ways. I suppose we shall just have to not allow that to occur."
Lorna Dane "It's more the time crunch really." Lorna murmurs. "Do I serve the children exclusively with everything the school means to us all, or do I devote my time to seeing there's stability for all the mutants in Genosha, from families to charming bachelors like you?" She sighs and works on cleaning her plate with delight. "War on Genosha would be bad. I'm devoted to ensuring that never happens."
Kurt Wagner     "Oddly, so are most of the rest of us." Kurt agrees. he eats pretty quickly, but politely. He has tucked in with some gusto as well. His eyes gleam warmly. He pulls in a breath. "Why are you here with me? You have a full life. I am a distraction. I am a welcome one, I hope, but At the very least, you might get more sleep." He is flirting! His tail tugs back at her ankle teasingly and playfully.
Lorna Dane "I would go mad. If I didn't do something for me-like amazing dinners with a wonderful man." Lorna toys with her wine glass, green eyes sharp. "My life is too full, and lonely. Soo lonely sometimes."
Kurt Wagner 5r    "Why not just move in with me?" He teases. "I live in a mansion?" he flirts. His smile is borad as he does so, "I do nicht snore. My worst vice is a sandwich before bed, and an early morning work out." he teases her merrily. As if she does not know these things already.
Lorna Dane "Well, I have two homes." Lorna says airily, playing along. "One's a tropical residence and the other is a master suite in this retrofitted castle. That was moved to the US, some ancestoral home, it's very swanky." She murmurs and bats her lashes. "Granted, every room is my office and I live on caffeine."
Kurt Wagner     "On caffiene? Surelt ther eis some other thing you can subsist on? Booze? Germans? Blue furred mutants/" Kurt's tail slides up her leg a little suddenly as he gives her a little look. 'Did I tell you that you were beautiful? Did I mention charming? You make me smile, Lorna Dane. I smile I alot,., but you? You make me smile when I am alone."
Lorna Dane Tugging Kurt's tail lightly with a wiggle of her leg, Lorna flushes at the compliments. "And to think I almost wore a wrap dress for you." She teases and smiles herself. Her eyes moving over Kurt as she polishes off her meal.
Kurt Wagner     "Going to have room for dessert?" He asks her warmly. He tilts a brow, and his hand reaches for hrs. "Or should I ply you first with alcohol?" He teases. His smile is warm and his eyes sparkle with warmth and affection.
Lorna Dane "Is dessert blue?" Lorna wonders quietly, aware that she's recognized as royalty here so she drops her volume, a private question for Kurt. She flicks her green eyes to meet his gaze, a warm smile taking her face.
Kurt Wagner     "It can be." Kurt says with a warm smile. "Maybe a back rub as well. Maybe a bottle of champagne as well."
Lorna Dane Lifting a shoulder delicately, Lorna eyes the door. "Much as I enjoy going out to eat, oh, although, is this like, an official first date? Aren't you suppose to walk me to the door and leave me with a kiss?" She teases and sighs, leaning back as she pouts prettily.
Kurt Wagner     "If that would please the princess." Kurt agrees. His finger slides up and over to caress her face. He stands and kisses her cheek. He leaves a kiss there as he moves over to the register. There is a very polite little argument between him and nancy, but Kurt wins, and pays her a little more generously than maybe he should. Nancy's daughter kisses his cheek and they have a small talk. She keeps looking over at you. Kurt returns. "Would you let me take a picture with them and you, fraulein?" He fishes for your phone.
Lorna Dane "Hmm? Oh, yes. Of course." Lorna rises and walks over. Giving her phone to Kurt she takes Nancy's hands in hers. "That was a wonderful meal. Thank you so much for it." She tells her genuinely, meeting the chef's eyes. She looks to the daughter and smiles. She'll give Nancy's daughter a quick hug.
Kurt Wagner     Click. Click Click. Kurt sends the photos to himself. "I will see to it that they get printed out, and they get signed." Kurt assures the women. The yuong girl gives Lorna a big squeeze. She gives a little emotional snort. Nancy is blushing. ;You are welcome in our restaurant anytime, princess.' Lorna Dane means a lot to them. nancy does protest. "you can't date Kuert thought!" Nanacy protests. "He's just a guy. A good guy. A decent guy. But he.. you are a princess." And he looks like he does. They don't hate him. They just don't think mutants, like themselves are beautiful people. That they are worthy. There are two kinds, Freaks and demigods. a freak cannot date one of the demigods. Kurt's smile is warm, and he takes no offense.
Lorna Dane "But how will I truly know a good man if not for Kurt in my life?" Lorna asks Nancy. "Thank you so much for dinner." She tells her and takes Kurt's hand. "So, shall we?" She asks and looks at Kurt with a comfortable, happy smile.
Kurt Wagner Kurt Wagner offers Lorna his hand. His fingers lace with hers. He gently tugs her a little closer. Nancy works her jaw, not having answer for that. Kurt gives a smile, and kisses Lorna's cheek sweetly. "Lets."
Lorna Dane Leading Kurt from the restaurant, Lorna finally relaxes in the car. "Whew. That was a nice dinner." She tells Kurt and smiles at him once she's cozied into the seat.
Kurt Wagner     "Ready to go home, Lorna?" Kurt asks her in that cozy sort of turn. "I can give you that backrub, and the open the bottle of chamagne, and maybe we can make sure we are both very tired for the morning classes, ja?" Kurt suggests quietly.
Lorna Dane "Home sounds good, champagne sounds good, relaxing sounds good, letting my hair down-" Lorna pauses as the hair pins come free from her hair and she collects them in her hand and looks to Kurt. "Drive on mini-van man!" she winks cheerfully.
