Marinette DuPain The Dupain Bakery and Pateserrie is actually having a slightly slower day today. It could be because its a bit rainy today. It could be because it's a wednesday. It could be because the novelty of a new place like this is wearing off. No matter what the cause, it doesn't seem to affect the mood inside Dupain's.

Inside, Mr. Dupain is making the most of a slow day. He is catching up on some of the more delicate pastries that are often hard to show off early in the morning. Mrs. Cheng is busy cleaning and supplying coffee to those who ocme in for that. One question seems to ring out though... Where is the other person who lives there? Where is Marinette?!

Upstairs in her room, the pigtailed blunette is zonked out in her pajamas. She had a long night. Foiling a bank robbery, while fun, is not always the most relaxing part of a patrol.

*BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP* Marinette groans and opens her eyes, to look at the demon clock. Her eyes snap awake as the numbers form. "Oh no!! The INTERVIEW!!!" She jumps out of bed sending Tikki, who had been sleeping on top of her, flying.
Adrien Agreste Downstairs, thw delicate bell of the front dooe chimes to announce a new patron. Taking a moment to shake out the umbrella just outside thw door before stwpping in fully, young Mr. Agreste makes his way in. The smell of coffee and croissants is irresistible, and hw drifts over to get some.

"Bonjourn Madame Cheng," says Adrien politely, gentle smile as it ever was. His collar is, stylishly, turned up against the rain.
Chamber BLEH, rain. Jonothon really hates the rain. Like... really hates it. It won't put out his psychokinetic fire, but he doesn't want to know if it would mess him up by falling down into his body. Not having an umbrella makes it worse. He'd left it back at the school because he didn't figure he'd be out long enough for the rain to start, but he kind of got caught out in it.

He's actually next to the bakery when it gets too bad for him to just deal with, so with a scowl, he ducks inside to wait it out, shaking the rain out of his short brown hair.

He's all wrapped up and dressed in black -- black t-shirt, black jeans, black waist-length jacket, black ankle boots. And from just under his nose to his waist is wrapped up in black. There are a few odd 'veins' of gray peeking up over the wrapping, though.

Hopefully he doesn't look too much like a robber. That would be an unfortunate explanation.
Marinette DuPain "Bonjour Mr. Agreste!" Mr. Dupain recognizes Adrien of course. Both from the pictures that hang in Marinette's room and from the fact that they've met on more then a few occasions. "How can we help you today. If you're looking for Marinette, I think she may still be in bed. How a person who goes to bed at an early hour can sleep so late is beyond me!" He smiles making a little joke.

Mrs. Cheng notices the boy walking in. "Hello there, Can we get you anything? You shouldn't be outside without a jacket or at least an umbrella." She smiles a little to him.

"Marinette! Its okay, you're not that late. You can still make it on time. You just have to run." The ever supportive little kwami states as she flies along trying to help Marinette find her missing shoe.

"I set my alarm for the right time. I know I did! Why didn't it go off til now?! Where is my shoe!" She is all over the room looking around for it when Tikki pulls points under the bed. "Oh Thanks Tikki!" She quickly grabs the shoe and puts it on. Then its off to the races. She grabs her bag and her tablet and down stairs she flies.

Right through the kitchen she goes, "Sorry Mom, Dad, No time to talk I'm late for my interview" *THUNK!* She runs right smack into Jonothon. She promptly falls on her backside.
Adrien Agreste Grinning politely, Adrien tries to control thw faint blush of a father telling him his daughter is still upstairs in bed, in fsct the idea that her father would assume he is here for her. (The thought isnt completely untrue.) Thw model is still trying to think of a response when Marinette runs down and slams right into Jonothon. Adrien suppresses the sympathetic wince as he moves over to offer Marinette a hand up and to heck on the bandaged young man.

"Are you ok? Interview? Did you need a ride? Or an umbrealla?" hw asks first of bith then of Marinette more directly. An offered umbrella. isnt that how these two met so long ago?
Chamber Jonothan had looked up at the statement from Mrs. Cheng. Ah. Um. Right, get the phone out. He pulls that out and types. The phone speaks with an eletronic sounding male voice. <Getting out of the rain, yes. Sorry.>

It is, in fact, because he's looking down a this phone, in the middle of typing, that he doesn't notice Marinette until she runs into him. She's not the only one who falls over, either. Thanks to missing most of his internal organs, Jono is actually pretty light for his size. So yes, he too falls over backwards, landing on his rear end and dropping his phone on the ground next to him. He looks a little surprised.

If Marinette's not too shocked and frazzled, she might have noticed a few things. His apparent lightness, for one. And also something interesting. She ran into him full-on against his front. But what she hit... actually wasn't solid. It was less she bounced off him, and more that she was bounced back by some springy surface. Like pressing against cloth wrapped over an empty surface.

He retrieves his phone and stands, dusting himself off. He doesn't seem that upset about being run into. But he does nod, and types in a confirmation to Adrien's words. <He's right. Raining cats and dogs out there.> If she's going to an interview she'll probably want to not get wet and mess her outfit or hair up.
Marinette DuPain Marinette scrambles to her feet with the help of Adrien... ADRIEN!?! Her eyes go wide, "Oh gods I am so sorry! I just. I was trying to get out the door, I have an interview with Parsons School of Design today. I don't even have my umbrella, Didn't we meet that way?" She asks Adrien. She looks to Jonothon and frowns, "I am so sorry. I didn't mean to run into you. This day is really rough. I just... I have to go!"

Marinette runs right out the door. She's definitely not thinking clearly. She takes off running down the street. Thankfully the school isn't too terribly far. Several blocks. She turns a corner and...

Someone runs smack into her this time! Down she goes!!! The man glares, "WHy don't you watch where you're going! I'm runnin here!"

"Well so am I! You don't have to be so rude about it!" Marinette retorts as she carefully stands up.

"How dare you! You just messed up my whole training regimen! I have a fight tonight and you just threw off my training!" He snaps off and takes off running again, seething.
Adrien Agreste Adrien inhales, mouth opening to say something, anything, to Marinette, to reiterate his offrr of his car and his umbrella and that it wasnt a problem, that he was happy to help her because she was a friend and he liked her and... then was out thw door, into thw rain before he could so much as start to say anything. Surw that it meant shw didnt like him as anything more than just the guy she sat behind in high school, he sighs lightly. A moment passes before the model refinds his easy going smile, the facade he has been trained to show the world.

"I hope she makes it on time" is all he says, voice a tinged concerned, politebess masking the rest.
Chamber Jonothon puts a hand out, intending to stop her from running right out -- it's raining, and she's definitely not going to look pretty for the interview if she just goes running off into the rain. But she's already long gone before he can say anything else. Besides, phone typing isn't the most reliable and fastest means of communication, considering he's playing at being mute. The whole 'burn victim' story can be a pain in the butt...

He looks to Adrien, not realizing the connection between the two. But he nods to the statement. More typing on the phone. <And that she's not in too bad of shape. Rain and all.> Prospective employers tended to frown on their prospective employees coming in looking like they'd stood out in rain for an hour or two...
Adrien Agreste Somewhere not terribly far anyway...

"The frustration of having your flow destroyed, and the nervous energy of not feeling resdy for an important momwnt in your life," a voice says as a darkened chamber slowly comes to life with a soft white-lavender glow. Hawk Moth holds out a blacl gloved hand, collecting a soft white butterfly to wmpower with a piece of the gift his kwami gives him. Releasing the insect, he grins, waiting for it to appear near the boxer, waiting for his creature to alight itself upon the towel draped about thw boxer's neck.

"Boxstar, I am Hawk Moth. I grsnt you thw power to master your anxiety, and to be thw heavy weight champion you want to be, but in return you need to do somwthing for me..."
Marinette DuPain The Weird insect flies its way towards the man. It lands on his shoes and suddenly, his face gets a shadowed mask on it. "Yes Hawk Moth. And my first victory will be over that blue haired girl!" Dark magic flows over him, A mask forms on his face. Gloves form on his hands. Trunks Appear and of course his shoes become proper boots.

Marinette is still running. She's almost there. She's almost made it when suddenly. The intersection she is passing through is blocked off by a Squared Circle marked off by ropes. Its very much like a boxing ring.

Boxstar enters the ring with a burning gaze. "You! You're going to be my first win of today! You are going to pay for your actions!" He raises his gloved fists in the air. Suddenly people in the area begins moving around the ring. They begin blocking off any hope of anyone leaving it.

"Wait what!? An Akuma? NOW?! She looks around. With all the people in the area there is simply nowhere to run. She is trapped with Boxstar.
Chamber Jono looks out of the shop and observes the rain. Pulling his head back into the store, he goes for his phone again. Type type type. This takes a few moments. <Rain's let up enough. Thank you for letting me chill out here. Will remember this place though. Know a lot of kids my age. Can send them here.> Wouldn't hurt to grab a flier or two if they have some around. If not, namedropping at the school probably wouldn't hurt.

Though once he exits, heading in the same direction that Marinette went... suddenly there are people around. He frowns, wondering what's up. Probably going to take him a while to maneuver to a position where he can see what's going on, since he's not really all that tall of a fella.
Adrien Agreste Adrien ponders a moment, turning from the door to get that coffee and croissant or going to his car to convince the driver to follow Marinette... try to gey her to her interview on time and not soaked to thw bone... but it makes him wonder if shed think he's a stalker, so he hesitates. It's just long enough for Plagg to poke him sharply between the ribs in their prearranged 'akuma' poke. Adrien gasps lightly as Ms. Cheng strts to ask him if he wants anything. A hasty excuse later and Adrien is out the door and around the corner, umbrella left by the counter, forgotten.

A moment later, Chat Noir is leaping up over the crowd. Akuma, boxer... and Matinette. The worried pull on his lips turns into a feral grin as he flips himself right into the thick of things, putting himself between Boxstar and his friend.

"Allo, Purrincess. Dont mind if I play your Chat-pion, do you?" he quips on a smirk and a wink to the bluenette now behind him before he turns his green cat eyes to the boxer.

"A new challenger has entered the ring! And you're out of continues!"

Okayn Ladybug... any second meow would be great. Cause I could find the akuma, and likely destroy it to free the papillion, but there's nothing more this chaton can do!
Marinette DuPain Several swings are taken at Marinette. Its times like this she is thankful that she isn't exactly slow, even without being Ladybug. She doesn't try to swing at the guy. She just tries to keep from getting hit herself because this guy's strikes look like they mean business.

"Fight back you little brat. If you are going to mess up my training regimen you could at least fight me. Come on! FIGHT!" He swings at her again.

Then... Chat Noir to the rescue. "I've never been so happy to see you!" She states as she looks around. She needs to escape the ring but with this crowd pressing in, she isn't going to be able to do so easily. Stepping through the ropes she begins pushing her way through the crowd.

Meanwhile, Boxstar glares at Chat Noir. "You... You let her escape! She needed a lesson in manners and you let her go free! So Be it!" He comes sailing at him swinging with full force, charged by that dark energy.
Chamber Jonothon is... not actually sure what's going on. But he knows that doesn't need to happen. That girl doesn't need to get beat up. Jono's pushing his way through the crowd from the other side when Chat appears and distracts the weird-looking boxer guy.

When Marinette starts pushing through, Jono calls out to her, mentally. This time it's an emergency! {{This way!}} And he'll try to help her escape the press of people, using his own body to make some space for her.
Adrien Agreste Chat Noir graces Marinette with a very brief, very roguish grin for her statement of being happy to see him. He wishes she'd be happy to see him as Adrien, but the lonely tomcat will takr what he can get. So, all he retorts to Marinette is, "Run."

Attention is then turned to Boxstar, Chat Noir dodging lightly, sensin those punches might hurt if he gets clipped by one.

"If she needs any lessons, Im alresdy on offer," Chat Noir quips, slipping doen to tumble roll between Boxstar's legs. He stands and in. fkuid motion tries to round house the akuma victim in the shoukder so he will go stumbling and turn back to him. Last thing Chat wants is for thia kind of akuma to go rampaging about the city punching everything. The ring is too small for his staff at full length, but if needed he could break it in two... it'd be better than clawing the guy up in front of all these people.
Marinette DuPain Marinette is in fact trying to run but, Yeesh, everytime she gets by one person two more get in her way. When she hears someone's voice telling her to go that way, She begins pushing her way in that direction. She spies the person she ran into and winces, "Sorry for earlier. I umm. I gotta go!" She takes off running into an alleyway. "Tikki! Spots on!"

"Stay Still and let me pound you, Chat!" A few people suddenly begin moving into the ring. They move toward Chat Noir and attempt to take hold of him. When Boxstar notes that someone just helped the blue haired girl to escape, he glares, "Bring him to the ring too! I can handle both of these would be heroes!" Immediately Jono will find himself getting swarmed by people who have no control over themselves.

From nowhere, Ladybug come swinging into the ring, kicking Boxstar to the side. She sticks the landing and smirks, "You should really consider not bugging Innocent girls just trying to get through this city!" She smiles to Chat Noir and gives a polite smile to Jonothon.
Chamber Jonothon has just 'breathed' a 'sigh' of relief at noting the girl's managed to get away. He doesn't have lungs anymore, though, so it's more his shoulders slump a little in relief. Whew. Now hopefully that guy dressed up like a cat can handle the amazing 'Roidrager...

Though at precisely that moment he finds himself grabbed by someone! As he tries to pull away, someone ELSE grabs him, then someone else, until he's basically lifted up. {{Oi! What's your game?!}} He struggles to get free, but to no avail; he finds himself dumped unceremoniously into the ring with The Juicer. Realizing this, he scowls. {{Right then,}} states, as he stands up. {{Yer want a fight then, mate? Gonna wish yer 'adn't.}}

He actually does respond to the smile from Ladybug, with a nod. He'll apologize later, for putting them in this position. But later. Jono is many things. One of those things is a delinquent. And right now he has a head to bash in.
Adrien Agreste Knowing that he needs to keep the akuma victim in the ring long enough at least for Ladybug to show up, the dangerous position Chat Noir put himself in occurs to him the moment people start climbing into the ring after him. All thoughts of using his baton to put a bit more oomf into his attacks without clawing the guy into ribbons flies away like he wishes the butterfly would. These are just normal people, moving against their will. He wont be able to hit them as hard as he would Boxstar. Shifting his weight, Chat switches into Judo, grapple-tossong the members of the crowd into each other the gentlest way he can until there is simply no more room for him to mauveur without fleeing the ring and potentially letting the akuma lose on the city. And with Marinette near by to boot!Caught by countless hands, Chat hears Boxstar call to have someone else, Marinette's other saviorn brought into tjw ring.

"Some champion you are, Boxstar! Needing the crowd to help you on in the ring. You shojld be disqualified! " Chat taunts the akuna victim, looking to (illadvisedly) force the villain's atrention back on to himself.

...just as that kid with the phone from the bakery gets dropped in beside him and his pack of audience wjo are restraining him...

aw man! what horrible luck!

...and then a smile from Ladybug has the tension Chat jad been feeling fade, a fog bruned away by the sun of her presence. He smiles brightly up at Ladybug, attention pulled away from Boxstar in that moment.
Marinette DuPain Boxstar glares at Marinette. He hauls off and Slams chat with a darkness charged punch. "Didn't need help to do that pussycat." He turns to look at Ladybug, "So you want to take her place. How quaint." He moves in and takes a few swings at Ladybug.

If Marinette was nimble, Ladybug is very much agile and is out maneuvering each strike with ease. "Chat Noir! Are you alright?!" She pulls her yo-yo and begins swinging it. Its not much room but hopefully enough to do what she needs to. She attempts to swing at Boxstars feet to take him down. "We need to find the Akuma. If we can do that we can end this."
Chamber Jono's starting to get the idea that maybe these people aren't really aware of what they're doing. Otherwise why would they follow an order from an obvious costumed idiot to pick up an apparently normal kid and throw him in this ring? And furthermore where the hell did this ring even come from?!

Chat getting his bell rung switches Jono to active mode, though. Apparently the girl in the ladybug outfit knows the guy in the cat outfit. So the first thing he needs to do is get her some room, whether to check on that guy in the cat outfit or to clobber the boxer guy.

Jono reaches up and pulls at the wrappings around his face. And suddenly... fire. It escapes from the cloth and rolls up, framing his face with a freakish yellow and orange light. And then a 'beam' of the fire erupts from about where his mouth ought to be (it's hard to see because of all the light and fire, though), aimed at the boxer fellow. It won't burn if it hits; it'll feel more like a solid punch. he's only trying to back this guy up, though.

Though Ladybug says something else. {{Akuma? What's it look like?}} Ladybug seems like she knows what's up, so he doesn't question the cause of the problem.
Adrien Agreste Having been in the middle of an inhale to quip a pun of greeting to Ladybug, Chat is completely unprwpared for Boxstarxs punch. It cracks somw things, and sends thw feline hero back into the robes then down to thw ground, hands and knees.

"Just purrrfect, My Lady," Chat replies, though thw purr sounds morw like a growl and thw rest of his words arw tense. His suit can compensatw for some od the pain of injury and Chat knows that once thw akuma is defeated, Ladybug's power with heal him, so without even preasing a hand to his siden Chat shoves homself back to his feet.

"Somwthing on him. His glovesn or his shoes or a headband...." Chat repliws to jono's questuon, looking up in timw to see.... Chat takes a step back, hands up defensively, eyes wdie at rhw flames. Green eyes seek out blue.

"I did mentiok this town was weird, right?" he asks ofhis partner.
Marinette DuPain Boxstar goes down. "That isn't fair! How dare you cheat in this match! You're no better then that blue haired bimbo from earlier!" Then he gets hit again by a blast of non-burning fire. He growls and gets back to his feet. "You all wanna go! Fine! Lets do this!" He reaches out and takes hold of two people. BOth of them start to change becoming carbon copies of him. "Now lets fight!"

Welp This just went sideways. Ladybug continues dodging and trying to avoid the incoming Boxstar. The other two move to attack Chat Noir and Jono. Ladybug finally does deliver a punch or two. She is not as strong as Chat Noir is but she is definitelyn ot a pushover. "What Chat Said!" She looks around studying Boxstar. "I think its one of his shoes!"

Ladybug dances around the attacker, trying to avoid several punches. "Chat we need more room! Maybe we can get rid of this stupid ring!" She comments as she narrowly avoids having her jaw rearranged for her.
Chamber Jono's used to the 'holy crap what is THAT?!' response to him having fire coming out of his face. And there really isn't time to feel sad at Chat's response. He does, however, take a moment to assure the guy in the cat outfit, {{S'fine. Not you I'm aimin' at.}}

Then suddenly two people are being 'overwritten' into clones of the boxer. And just like that, the boxer has lost any concern that Jono might have had for him. {{Right then, ya tosser. Gloves off.}} Metaphorically speaking. Jono doesn't wear gloves. He's no prizefighter, but he's scrappy, angry, and doesn't have internal organs to hurt.

The shoes? Jono dodges a punch from one of the clones. {{'Ow 'bout these two?}} he asks. He aims a punch at the stomach of the clone who decided to come after him. {{These two gone for good?}} He's holdng back on hurting his 'dance partner' until he knows what's up.
Adrien Agreste As he's addressed by Flaming Face Man, Chat's defensive crouch lowers an inch.

"Just caught that. Thanks," Chat says, turning from the not-so-normal-guy-who-had-only-come-into-the-bakery-to-get-out-of-the-rain-yikes-I-need-to-work-on-these-hyphenated-name-things in time to see Boxstar create doubles of himself. Under his suit, his ribs whine faintly just before he toss-rolls himself to one side, dodging a punch.

That Ladybug calls for more space to figh tin isn't lost on him, and although Chat doesn't think it's the best idea to let this guy have east access to a crowd of people he could likewise turn into copes of himself the cat follows her lead.

She's the lucky one, after all.

"Cataclysm!" The shout is given as Chat Noir leaps into a flip to dodge another attack. He lands in a corner of the ring, right hand smoking with black destructive shadows. Left hand up in defense, Chat reaches behind him to place his palm against the ropes near the corner post.

"Tag, Ladybug. You're turn meow!"
Marinette DuPain "Hey! You're not allowed to break the ring! Thats against the rules! We are going to make you pay for that!" The attackers get a bit more aggressive. Boxstar is flat out getting desperate. The more angry he gets the more fierce, and clumsy, he seems to get.

With a quick Strike Ladybug kicks the tar out of the Boxstar attacking her. She sends him fling backwards. Using her yo-yo she swings it about. "LUCKY CHARM!!!" Light flashes aboce her head and... an old corded phone drops into her hands. Its of course Ladybug colored.

"A Phone? What am I supposed to do with this?" She asks as she looks around curiously. Things go black and white for her. Chat noir flashes to her. Then the his Boxstar. Then Jono followed by his Boxstar. Then her own boxstar and the stop light above her. "Got it!"
Chamber Jono figures that Chat and Ladybug have the main guy taken care of. So he puts his attention to the mini-me Boxstars. He's trying to 'lead' his over to the one that's attcking Chat Noir. Ideally Jono's opponent will strike the second 'clone', but even if it doesn't, Jono can go between them.

He's not unaware that Chat and Ladybug are doing something, but his own powers are very much not magical, and his awareness of magical things is actually very low. So he works on keeping attention on himself so Ladybug and Chat can do what they need to do.

Mind, he pays for this when looking at the other clone gives the one that he'd been fighting a free hit on his side, sending him sprawling to the side. Hitting him in the face is difficult, considering he actually lacks a jaw. Besides, even a brainwashed clone-fighter probably doesn't want to stick their fist in what looks like fire. Either way, he just gets back up and keeps trying to draw aggro.
Adrien Agreste As Chat's touch ripples over the boxing ring, it turns black, then begins to rot and decay into dust. With a grunt, the cat drops himself to the ground, then rolls away, bounding out of the confines of the once ring before pulling his baton free, extending and breaking it in two just to turn aruond and head right back into the fray.

"Yeah? Make us pay, how, exactly, Feather-Weight? I know girls that punch harder than you do!" And that's not a lie either. Not anymore. Ribs aching, Chat Noir grunts his teeth against the pain while he sweeps back in, slamming his twin batons against the clones or the main guy... whichever. Chat's not particular about these things. As Ladybug calls out her success in puzzling out how to end this, one of Chat's ears twitches.

"Care to let us in on your plan, Bugaboo?" he asks as he narrowly avoids another attack. The pains slowing him down a little bit and he doesn't like it.
Marinette DuPain The fighters keep attacking. Any openings they see, they try to make a move on. They are mad and they aren't thinking clear at all.

"Yeah Catch!" She tosses the phone receiver to Chat, "His feet! She calls out. She darts in and wraps up her own Boxstar. Then she smiles, "Hey Fireguy! Wrap yours up!" She tosses the phone base toward him. Then its just the waiting game. She swings her yo-yo getting ready to finish these guys off.
Chamber There's a plan in the offing. Good. Though Jono blinks a bit when a corded telephone base is tossed over to him. {{...What...?}} Well, it's an unconventional plan, but this is an unconventional enemy. So, well. Whatever works. And he really hopes this works.

He dodges another punch, and then takes the opportunity to follow Ladybug's instructions. Knocking the arm aside, Jono springs to the opposite side as the fist swung at him, and goes around the Boxstar clone, to wrap the cord of the phone base around the attacking clone.

He REALLY hopes this works, or they're all going to look really stupid.
Adrien Agreste Chat leaps up, like a pounce, baton collapsed back into one and placed at hte small of his back just before he latches onto the phone and drops back to the floor.

You know. Sometimes, Ladybug's plans are just plain bizzard! But, years have taught him to just roll with it. Trust the bug, and everything works out. So, Chat gets to work.

"You heard the Lady, Hothead," Chat quips at Jonothon, leaping away to avoid another punch, and thensetting to pounce in a circle about his baddie. Like a cat chasing his tail... only around a very large angry boxer. Chat's grinnign the whole time.

"All done, My Lady!" he calls out, just as his ring gives it's first loud beep. Green eyes flit to it, one of hte toebeans of the green cat paw gone.

"Umm. hurry, please?"
Marinette DuPain Ladybug smiles seeing things are set up. With a quick throw, the Yo-yo is launched over the street lights. It comes back down and wraps up the cord in several places then with a strong yank, all three of the Boxstars are pulls up upside down.

"Now the Akuma! Quick!" A beep comes off her earrings as one of the spots disappear from them. She's holding the yoyo so she can't exactly check for it.
Chamber Jono nods to Chat just before enacting his part of the plan. And then suddenly the three of them are hoisted up. Not exactly by their own petards, but close enough. They're at least temporarily taken out, from the looks of it.

Ladybug reminds him of what they're supposed to be doing, then. Yes, Jono's noted the beeping from some of their various jewelry, and their sudden urgency. Something's timed. But he doesn't have time to ask.

Instead he nods. {{Yer said shoes, right?}} he confirms. And then he reaches for the dangling fighters' shoes to pull them off, one at a time.
Adrien Agreste Chat doesn't need to be asked twice. The moment Ladybug says it's time to get the akuma, Chat leaps for the tied up villains with Jono. As Hothead pulls off the boots, Chat catches each in turn, shredding them with his claws until finally one turns black and purple when he rends it. A small purple and black butterfly futters free, and Chat hops back.

"Got it! Ladybug! The akuma," Chat says, pointing at it while reaching to grab Jono by the elbow to pull him away from the boxers. Chat knows that Bug's going to drop them.
Marinette DuPain Ladybug drops the guys returns the yoyo. It springs open, "No more evil doing for you little akuma!" She begins spinning the yo-yo around around her body, "Time To De-Evilize!" A moment later she opens the yo-yo again and out flies a little butterfly. "Bye bye little butterfly."

Grabbing the telephone she tosses the thing into the sky, "Miraculous Ladybug!!!" It bursts into hearts which go flying throughout the city undoing every thing Boxstar did. All damage, All pain, and anything else. Everything is promptly fixed. The three people on the ground now are back to normal.

She smiles to both Chat and to Jono, She gestures them closer with a smile and sticks out a fist toward both of them. "Pound it!"
Chamber Jono's confused at the sudden appearance of the black butterfly from the shredded shoe. So of course he pauses. Being pulled back by Chat shakes him out of it, though. And he watches as Ladybug does... whatever it is that she does. The people changed by the boxer guy are returned to normal. And then hearts start flying through the area.

That, Jono figures, is his cue to fix his face. So he quickly pulls his wrappings back up, hiding the fire under the layers of clothes. He doesn't want these people to suddenly start freaking out about his face being on fire.

He approaches Ladybug when she gestures for them to close the distance. At the fist, Jono would smirk if he could. But nonetheless, he does return with a fistbump. {{Good job,}} he compliments. Then to both of them, {{Are both of yer all right?}} He's keeping his 'voice' down so he's not overheard speaking mentally.
Adrien Agreste Best part ever. The dap at the end of it all. That brief moment of celebration. It's childish. Chat knows this. They've grown into young adults, and it'd be the stuff of dreams if instead of fists pressing together, Chat could be reasonably certian that Ladybug wouldn't yo-yo his ankles to his wrists and drop him off the nearest tall building if he actually went to press lips to lips instead.

Plus, today there is a third wheel. A victory kiss with a flaming Hothead would be... awkward. Because Chat is NOT about to say it'd be hot.

Beep.

Chat glances at his ring, the roguish grin falling a touch before it's back, full force.

"Purrfect, as usual. Thanks fur your help, Hothead. My Lady. I know we're short on time, but I really need to talk to you," Chat says, transitioning from puns to something more serious as his slitted green cat eyes shift from Jonothon to Ladybug.
Marinette DuPain Ladybug smiles, "The whole flying hearts thing, It fixes anything done as a result of an Akumatized person! Its a nice way to clean up and the people who were directly affected by it don't really remember it so, theres that too!" She smiles a little. "Good job!"

*Beep*

"Short story, That was an akumatized person. This guy named Hawk Moth sends out these akumas. Corrupted butterflies. They disolve into a personal item and they become a super villain. He basically wants our Miraculouses." She looks at Chat Noir and nods. "Umm... Give me 2 hours. We will meet on the rooftop Gardens at the Rockefeller Center. Time to go!!" She swings her yo-yo and she is off.

"I hope they still will see me after this. This is really bad. I'm totally late!" She states presumably to Tikki but thats impossible at the moment.
Chamber Jono nods to Chat's thanks. {{No problem,}} he returns. He quiets, for Ladybug's explanation. And then more beeps. He frowns a little, his brows drawing together a bit. The explanation, though, gets a nod. There isn't really time for a longer one.

And then Ladybug's departing. {{Take care,}} he offers. Her power must be limited somehow...
Adrien Agreste Chat Noir nods to Ladybug, expression devoid of his usual roguish grin.

"I'll be there," he says simply, eyes watching as Ladybug zips away. Yes. Time to go. Less than three minutes and he'll be untransformed and with a hungry cranky kwami to deal with. His penthouse is not far from here. He can make it there in two minutes if he pushes it. He turns to Jonothon then.

"Thanks for getting Marinette out of there," he says. There's a slight pause before he grins again, as if this whole afternoon had been nothing more than one big chase the catnip mouse around the room, and then finger guns at Jonothon.

"It was the cat's meow."

And with that, Chat Noir turns and bounds away hastily, a loud beep following him as he sprints for it.
Chamber Jono shakes his head at the pun. {{You be careful too,}} he notes as the cat sprints away.

And then he's sort of... left alone there. Wondering if that really happened. What the hell even was that? Acid trip?

He shrugs.

It's stopped raining, at least, so he should be able to make it home. Nobody seems keen to bother him on the way, which is good. Hopefully nobody saw the fire. Or if they did, they don't remember it...
