Gwen Stacy     "Let's go see someone."

Gwen says this to her friend Sev while visiting at the girl's apartment on this October day in New York. "I know a couple of people you might think are interesting. Armor up, girlfriend."

There might have been a clue for Sev about that was about to happen as Gwen was wearing her white, pink, and purple Spider-costume. "We'll go my way." and Spider-Woman takes Ol' Shell-Head on a trip through the sky - swinging on strands of dark webbing through the steel and concrete canyons of the urban jungle until they're in front of a large metal and glass 'T'.

"Here we are." Gwen says, setting Sev down and letting her go. She's strong. "Depdning on who's here... a couple of them know Gwen and Raven knows Spidey, but I don't think the first two know me in costume and Raven doesn't know me out of costume." Well, Raven probably does, if she saw the security tape of the pizzas being delivered.

So, Spider-Woman marches into the lobby.

    "Hello?"
Gwen Stacy     "Let's go see someone."

So, Spider-Woman marches into the lobby.

    "Hello?"
Sev      Exo-Girl squares her shoulders, staring up at the tower. ...She still has no clue how someone made a building that was shaped like a T and didn't fall over, but it's /really/ impressive. ~...Do they have horizontal elevators at the top or something? Focus, Sev, Focus.~ She still hasn't quite gotten used to the idea that she's a superhero in the same league as these guys, especially since she's never gotten past page 15 in the 'Local News' section of the Bugle. The ride here had been... interesting. Parkour never quite gets you the straight seconds of free fall web swinging does, so she's a little green inside her helmet, but otherwise fine. "Got it. Helmets closed, masks on, unless someone obviously makes the connection. ...Or if they're all in casual clothes and things get weird. I don't know." The doors open, and she follows Spider-Woman in, craning her neck to look around.
Rachel Roth     Raven does it again. Sliding out from some unseen nook or cranny near, but not immediately adjacent to, Gwen and Sev, Raven is likely the first on the scene. The tower is never explicitly -dark-, but when Raven's in the room, it's almost certain to have fewer lights on than necessary, giving the lobby floor this coherent sort of gloom. What light there is is either ambient or from some soft source turned down to the minimum required in order for people to see.

    "Hello."

It begins. That monotonous, dreary voice that Gwen has at least heard before, yet somehow, someway, Raven seemed to be preternaturally aware of which corner Gwen was going to look in first- because she almost certainly would try to catch Raven arriving, after last time- and as a result, she approached from the opposite corner.

"What brings you to Titan's Tower, today?"
Gwen Stacy     Gwen jumps again. "Ahh!' she squeaks. "You did it to me again! Whyy?!" but at least she doesn't sound too put out, though she puts a hand to her chest in relief, much like last time.

"I brought a friend, who I thought should meet some Titans." and she looks between Raven and the armored figure. "This is Exo-Girl." OK, it's not exactly a proper introduction, Miss Manners would probably shake her head in disappointment.
Sev      Exo-Girl is actually still startled. Shows how used to this she is. At least she is able to keep her hands from fully going into a ready to punch stance, and instead just spins around suddenly. "Nice to meet you. I've read about you guys in the news." She extends a hand towards the cloaked figure, still not completely sure if she's doing the right thing.
Rachel Roth     Raven doesn't shake hands. Not that she's mean- I mean, she's mean alright, but this isn't -why- or -because- she's mean- just that she doesn't really like touching people if she doesn't need to. It's why she keeps her hands in her hoody pockets almost all of the time. Like now.

"Okay." she offers, at first. It's the most bland response possible. It's not a Nice to meet you, it's also not a Get Out. "Sure is." She does this to partially illustrate that Gwen's intro wasn't the best, but also because she's a flighty broad and snark is one of her primary languages.

She takes a moment to look at the hand, before looking back up to the face of the other woman. "So do you need anything, specifically? I know you're here to meet Titans, but at the moment, you're really only meeting... the one."
Gwen Stacy     "Nothing specific, no." Spidey says. "But meeting the one is alright. You're the one I knew so you're the one I was hoping to see." she says from behind her mask. She has another look around. "I can redecorate for you for Hallowe'en" and she lifts a hand to thwip a little thing of web-fluid into a corner of the lobby, up high. Instant cobweb.

She turns back to Raven. "Arfe you looking for new members?" she wonders.
Sev      Defeated, Exo-Girl lets her hand fall back to her side. Sooo... This is awkward. And she's feeling distinctly overdressed now. "Yeah... It's kind of... the networking thing? Like, getting to know other heroes, getting yourself out there... I mean I've only been doing this for a couple months..." She snickers a bit at Gwen's impromptu decorations. "And I figure if I talk to other people who've been doing it longer, I can get experience and stuff..."
Rachel Roth     To say that Raven is expressive is a complete and total falsehood. However, when Gwen lets loose some of her gunk into a corner, there is a moment of genuine happy insight. "I have a job for you." Yes. A job. Someone else is going to be miserable and it will be Raven's doing via Gwen. However, that's for later- something she makes now. "That's for later, however. For now..." she offers this mild shrug.

"I don't really know how actively we are recruiting. You may want to do your best to hang around us as we go to work. Cassie is probably our most active in the field. She'll probably be along later to get a few things done. If you can keep up with her, then the others will probably be okay with it. You'll also need to talk to Starfire." A pause, "A small warning, there. She can be... Intense."
Gwen Stacy     "Oh, she's your friend." Gwen points out. "So she can't be too bad." she says. "But if she's really hyper and touchy and outgoing then she evens you out and so that works."

"Cassie? That's 'Wonder Girl', right?" Gwen asks. "Oh, that reminds me... did you like the pizzas?" She tilts her head at Raven's comment. "A job?" she wonders. "What kind of job?"
Sev Sev nods. "I can do intense. ...Commute might be an issue, but I can probably pull it off." She files all the names away in her head, although the idea of someone even more touchy and outgoing than Gwen kinda makes her nervous... Although the hero types have seemed pretty cool with her so far. "Wait, you delivered Pizza?"
Rachel Roth     Raven responds to Gwen first, really. "Yes, it is. We'll cover that later." she notes, aiming to leave it for some other encounter. For now, she just addresses Sev. "Yes, she did. It was very useful, as we didn't have any pizzas before she arrived, and then we did." Raven then just shrugs again. "If that's everything, though, you'll need to find the others as soon as you can."
Gwen Stacy     "Yes, they were..." but then Raven explains the aforementioned pizza and that they needed to meet the others. "Alright, we will. We'll check back later." Gwen agrees. "Thanks for coming down." she says.

"I liked talking to you again."
Sev Sev ...huh. Well that's a thing. "Thanks again. Hopefully... We'll see more of eachother? In a hero sense. I'm not trying to invade your personal life." Very smooth. Stupid lack of social interaction skills. "But yeah... I guess... Bye?"
Rachel Roth     Raven nods quietly at the goodbyes, but seems to be making her way for the stairwell. "It was good talking to you again, too. See you around." Yeah that's a hero thing, they tend to cross over into one another's paths pretty often.
