Owner Pose
Koriand'r     So. The big window overlooking the city currently had a large chunk of it blacked out. It could be converted to... a TV screen. "Ah!" exclaims Starfire. "I have seen the video games before," she begins. "And they seem most fanciful. And I have heard in this game, you can play a princess from the stars, yes?"

Starfire may have a certain bias towards those.

But as it turns out - it was night, and the place was dark. Star was wearing something casual - long purple pants, bare feets, and a tight spaghetti strap top. That was neon green. It turns out that she didn't have hooves and people might have suggested.

"But you will have to help me understand how to do war on this video game. I am not certain... this button will make my avatar punch?" She points at a button.
Beast Boy Garfield has all the hooves for Starfire. He's in uniform, because there's some rule about having to wear pants at all times and shaping shifting all the time often leads to not having pants. Thus, uniform.

"Nono. That's the kick. This one's the punch. And that one's dodge, and that one's a low kick. Got it?" Garfield says in an excited rush, eager to play and queuing in as Cloud. Because BUSTER SWORD!
Koriand'r "...yes." says Starfire, slowly.

A beat, and her eyes look down to the controller again, her fingertips tapping at each button as if to memorize it. "Yes!" she says, with far more exhuberance, twisting around to kinda hover over the sofa now, one leg folded over the other. "Let us commence with the games!" she says, lifting her hands up into the air. She chooses Rosalina. Because of the star guy.
Beast Boy 3...2...1.... FIGHT!

Gar started the round even before Starfire can finish requesting that he commence the games so that the word fight happens right after she speaks. And the green one is grinning, tongue poking out of his lips as he button mashes his way to ass-kicking the Starfire avatar. RAR! Buster Sword ATTACK
Koriand'r If Gar thought he was a button masher, he had not met Starfire yet.

But perhaps Starfire could get /scary/ in moments like this. Leaning forward, her eyes narrowed tightly, her jaw clenched tightly, her eyes were flickering over the screen, Rosalina launching upwards. Dress flaring out, she deftly leaps over the Buster Sword attack, and she flings the star at Cloud, the ball of light warbling brightly as it attempts to run into the other character.

"There is to be no mercy if we are to be warring, friend Garfield!" she enthuses.
Beast Boy "All's fair in love and war," Garfield quotes, making his little avatar duck roll out of the way just in time. Making the digitla hero turn, he slashswipestabs back.

"You will never defeat me, sprakly princess!! I'm a member of SOLDIER!"
Koriand'r Of course, the spikey-haired Avatar's buster sword lashes back and cuts across Rosalina's midsection, and Starfire releases a long GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASP of surprise and shock! "What! Which button is the fly button!" she says, the flashing of the princess' moments of invulnerability wearing off, as Star leans her in and has her bounce the star towards Cloud, before having the character lunge at him, foot extended in a very princess-like kick.

<"That is not proper fighting form.>> Star grumbles in a language that sounded like she was chewing rocks. Probably Tamaranean.
Beast Boy "There's no flying in Smash Bros," Gar exclaims, impersonating Tom Hanks. Becuase a League of Their Own is a classic and to heck if you disagree! Green teen makes Cloud block Bouncy Star and Princess Kick with his sword. The impacts scoot the avatar back a bit before Gar 'recvoers' and launches another assault.
Koriand'r Starfire, to the surprise of no one at all - did not get most pop culture references. It was simply a strange voice.

Hmm.

The little fight goes on for a while, until, to the surprise of no one, perhaps, Starfire loses. Starfire throws up one of her hands, and says something else in Tamaranean. "You did well! This... is not much like real fighting at all. How did you become so good at it?" she asks.
Beast Boy "Of course it's not like real fighting. It's a video game! I had lots of practice when I was recovering in the hospital when I was little. I play any chance i get, really. Gotta keep the skills sharp. Wanna try again?" Gar's words tumble from happy looking lips as green eyes dances brightly.
Koriand'r "Yes. But this time," Starfire says, "Your warrior will have no hope against my princess. Although I would wish to speak to whoever trained her in battle," she says then, pursing her lips as she plops down from her float, tucking her legs beneath herself as she frowns at the screen.
Beast Boy "You can't talk to whomever trained her!" Gar laughs brightly. "She's not a person. She was programmed to fight that way. It's just a game." he adds, smiling at Kori as she settles at his side. Pizza will be here soon.
Koriand'r And deep into the night, the two chatted about such silly things, and played the video games - and all was well. Especially when the pizza arrived.

Especially if Starfire got her way and mustard was involved in this equation somehow.
