Kaydin	The world moves in a blur of speed and motion. And soon they stop at the lake. He lets go of her and everything goes back to normal speed. "Thats How the world is for me since my powers awakened. So how come you vanished and reappeared? And knew the man was going to die?" He asks curiously.
Ava	Ava takes a relieved kind of breath, twisting about to take a look at the lake before hugging her arms about her,"It just... happens. I'm not sure, entirely? I mean, I was normal..." at least she has the grace to look embarressed about having said that, given the way her hand goes to her mouth and her eyes widen,"I'm sorry... I didn't... mean it like that. I just meant... I wasn't a mutant or anything. There was a car accident. And water. And then... it's kind of broken up a little bit? But I'm pretty sure I... died. I... think. And ever since then it's just... been like this."
Kaydin	Kaydin nods as he watches the woman and looks around. "I am sorry to hear about you dying." He says as he moves to feel her hand. "Feel alive to me." He says as he smiles at her. "So what do you think the united states? Having fun?"
Ava	There's an embarressed kind of laugh from Ava,"Thanks? I... guess?" she glances down towards her hand,"Do I? Mostly it's been... it's only been the last couple of weeks that I can remember and... I don't even have the words, how stupid is that? I mean... how did you learn how to... go fast like that? Was it something you're just born with?" she draws back her hand so she can wrap it about herself with a quiet laugh,"I liked it here. Like? It here. But I can't exactly go back to my friends and go 'oh hey, remember me? It's all good... I got better.' So I've been... lost."
Kaydin	Kaydin shrugs. "I was struck by a bolt of lightning and the next thing I knew the world was slowed down. Still slowed down for me. I have to focus to be able to talk normally without talking like a blur." Kaydin says, and despite his saying he is focused, he sounds hyperactive.
Ava	"Really? A bolt of lightning? And it's... like that... super fast... for you, all the time? It's... I mean, there's gaps? I lose track of days really easily. I never... new any mutants, before... is it, like that? One day everything's normal and then suddenly... you're magic?" she recognizes that's not really the right word, but it's the best she has right now,"I have to... think about it or I end up... disappearing, unless there's something happening. Then it's easier? For some reason. When I got to Coney Island this morning I was walking through everyone, that's why it... surprised me when I actually ran into your friend, Jean? But it happens like that. Usually they just... die, though, and afterwards everything goes back to normal. This is different, because that guy lived."
Kaydin	Kaydin nods as he watches her. "I will do what I can to stop people dying. Thats why I did what I did." He says as he watches the girl and nods. "Is anyone helping you figure out your abilities and why you survived?" He asks with some concern. "Because if you need a place to stay and learn your abilities I can talk to the folks incharge of the school nearby."
Ava	"It's good! No, it's great even, just that... it's just not happened before. I've... worked out that I can't... tell them? Like... I've tried, and it just end up with... howling and winds and chains and that just makes things worse." Ava offers,"And I don't know. I mean, I don't have any money or anything. It's just... nice to be able to talk to someone normally? That doesn't think I'm a complete weirdo, at least. Maybe just a little weirdo." she makes a small pinch with her fingers and laughs.
Meggan	Meggan is enjoying the fall air, flying around the grounds near the school. She's wearing a blousy, flowing green top, with loose sleeves and bare shoulders, cropped to leave her belly exposed, along with a pair of bell-bottom blue jeans with a butterfly patch on the backside. She's barefoot, of course, as she usually is, her blonde, thick hair sweeping behind her as she flies about. When she sees people underneath, she descends, landing in the grass with her bare toes and grinning broadly, her pointed ears sticking up through her hair, "Hello, people! I am Meggan!"
Kaydin	Kaydin nods when Meggan appears and he smiles. "Hi. I am Kaydin. This is..." He says as he lets Ava introduce herself before looking meggan over. "A flyer huh. Whats it like to fly?" He asks curiously as he watches Meggan.
Ava	Ava fades out at least temporarily, a cold breeze accompanying the repositioning before she gets a handle on herself and fades back into sight,"Ava." she offers with a hesitant kind of smile, content to twist her hands in her tee for now before she shoves them in her pockets to stop the fidgeting. Which in turn just makes her chew her bottom lip instead, watching the pair of them with big eyes.
Miss Martian	Megan's dropped off her things in her room...which means that now it's time to go /exploring/. Unlike the GG Meg, she's chosen to walk rather than fly, and she's in simple flats, skirt over tights, and a scoopneck t-shirt. She's in her normal shapeshifted form, which is to say pinkskinned instead of green, but still with that red red hair. She spots the other Aya and Kaydin, starting over that way...and then there's a flyer. There's a pause as she stares, and then beams, starting forward again. "This place is so cool."
Meggan	Meggan grins, "It's nice to meet you! You, too," she says, waving to the redhead. "Um, flying is nice! It kind of overwhelmed me at first, because I went way too high and I got all lightheaded and people were pointing. And that made me feel weird and I got shy and hid in the attic for a week or two. But I'm feeling muuuuuuuuuuuch better now," she grins. "Do you guys go to school here, too?" she says, the radiant young woman casually kneeling to brush her fingers through the surface of the water, sending shimmering ripples into the lake.
Kaydin	"It is isnt it?" Kaydin says to Megan as he smiles as he offers his hand to her. "Name's Kaydin." He says with a friendly tone to his voice. Something about him seems to be antsy, atleast trying to hold still. He then nods to Meggan. "Yea I am a new student. My abilities are speed based." He says as he blurs out and returns with a couple of sodas, moving to offer each one of them a soda.
Ava	More people. That Ava's anxiety is up no doubt showing in the way it gloooms near her, everywhere else, sunny and warm... she's got her own personal patch of slowly developing hoarfrost and withering grass. She's content to linger where she is and shake her head for the moment at the question as to whether she's a student, fading translucent again as the attention is off of her because it's definitely more comfortable that way for her.
Miss Martian	Megan nods. "I'm new as of today, so I--" And Kaydin zips in and out...getting more stares. And then Ava goes translucent. Megan looks back to her. "Are you a ghost?" She asks, a little in awe. And then catches herself a little. "I mean, if you are, there's nothing wrong with that!"
Meggan	Meggan smiles, "That's awesome," she says, to all of the new people, "I am still kind of new, but not entirely new, but I had to work out some things with my passport and went back to the UK for a bit, but now I have returned," she says, her flying ability allowing her to walk on the surface of the water. "I do not think she is a ghost. This isn't Hogwarts, the Professor made that -very- clear when I arrived. I still want an owl, though," she says.
Kaydin	Kaydin takes a drink from his soda and he chuckles. "I am faster then any owl." He says as he looks to Ava and moves to put an arm around her. "I brought Ava here to show her the place. Maybe we can get her to be a student here so she could learn her abilities." He says as he watches Ava.
Ava	"I'm not a student." Ava's voice offers, not quite actually coming from her physical presence and in a quiet whisper,"But I did die?" There's definitely the good Queen's English to her own tone (or the King's English, in 2025), for all that maintaining at least something resembling a corporeal form is debatable right now,"Sorry... this is all kind of... new to me? And it's... amazing, and I just had... no idea that there was even people like you guys out there."
Miss Martian	Megan looks to Ava. "You should TOTALLY be a student here. I only just found out about this place, and it's incredible." Her eyes widen at the proclamation of death. Totally ghost. "Owls are kinda messy, too. So not that great. Though having Hogwarts houses would be cool. I'm Megan, by the way. Megan Morse." she offers up her name, belatedly, to Kaydin.
Meggan	Meggan raises an eyebrow, perhaps a little higher than an ordinary person might be able. She does have the elven cast to her features, making even the slightest expression more dramatastic. "Are owls particularly fast? I was not aware!" She smiles, "I'm glad to meet a fellow Meg. And I'm sure she might because the people here are very welcoming. But only if she wants to be welcomed. Sometimes people like to be left alone. Would you like to be left alone? Are we intruding on your thoughtful solitude?" she asks, zipping just a bit closer to Ava.
Kaydin	Kaydin smiles. "Nothing is as fast as me, except maybe the flash." Kaydin says as he drinks more soda and he looks to Ava. "Do you need anything to eat or drink, Ava?" He asks with some concern to his voice.
Ava	Ava discorporates, it's just... less stressful for her, not that the sensation of another presence fades the area but that she wisps into invisibility and let's her voice come from those sideways places,"No, Kaydin stopped a guy that was going to die from getting killed on the boardwalk so we came here. It's nice to meet you both." offered in quiet tones,"No thank you Kaydin... I don't... drink. Or eat? At least... I haven't felt hungry I just... this is more talking than I've done since everything happened... but I'm here still."
Miss Martian	Megan smiles over to Meggan. "Another Meg? Awesome! I met another one here earlier, too. She had wings. It was cool." After that proclamation, though, she frowns. "Is there anything we can do to help?" Despite Ava fading, she's still looking right at where she is. "I mean, I don't have a lot of experience with...your situation. But I'd love to help if I can."
Meggan	Meggan nods in agreement with M'gann, "Yes, I am eager if entirely inexperienced!" she says. "I hope that you are not in any sort of pain and that you find a solution to your concerns," she says. "And it is good that you saved that person, Kaydin. Very good job. I bet you could get extra credit for that," she says.
Kaydin	"Didnt know saving people counted towards school credit." Kaydin says with a smirk before looking around and back to where he last saw Ava. "Maybe we can find a way to reverse your situation?" He says as he watches the megs
Ava	"I don't... know?" Ava offers,"I really don't even know, anything, really. Sorry. That's bad, isn't it?" her voice enquires, the small patch of frosted grass shifting away like a creeping plague betraying the rough presence of the invisible girl,"No pain, it's not like that, at least. And maybe? But I'm... pretty sure my parents took my body home. So I don't... know. Anyways... so you're all mutants? That go here? Is the whole school full of mutants? I had... no idea. I mean, I'd heard it was elite but..."
Miss Martian	"If saving people DOESN'T count for extra credit, it totally should." Megan chimes in. "And I'm not a mutant...I'm an alien." She smiles to Ava, pauses, then points upwards. "Like, the outer space kind. Not the "I don't have ID" kind."
Meggan	Meggan puts her hands on her hips, "I think we're mostly mutants, but I think being prejudiced would be, like, against the school's charter," she says. When M'gann reveals she's an alien, Meggan's eyes grow wide and her skin actually turns a little bit green, "That's -amazing-!" she says enthusiastically, "What's outer space like? Do you have a ship? What are alien snacks like?"
Kaydin	"Really an alien? You dont look that different from folks. Atleast your still hot." Kaydin says as he looks to Ava and watches her. "We will find a way to fix things. Ava. I promise." He says as he tries to pat her shoulder only to go through her probably.
Ava	At least through the chill presence that is her,"It should. He was fast, too. It was the first time that they didn't actually die." the disembodied voice offers, face fading in briefly to offer a translucent smile Kaydin's way,"It's not so bad... really. But... aliens. And mutants. That's really amazing. If I hadn't... died, I don't think I'd have met any of you... so maybe it's... okay? I mean... I don't mind it really."
Miss Martian	Megan nods, and a ripple passes through her from hair to toe, as she shifts to her "superpowered" normal...green skin, black bodysuit with red X on the chest, blue cape. "Outer space is...mostly empty. I do have a ship. Oh, jeez. I'm gonna have to have permission to bring it here probably. And Earth snacks are WAY better. Trust me." She makes an ick face. "And, technically, it's M'gann M'orzz." She says, the pronunciation subtly different. "But Megan's just fine." Beat. "I mean, You-Meggan are awesome, I meant Megan, like the name..." She trails off. "Words are hard."
Ava	"I... have to go." not that there's much other than her voice and vague presence to show she's still there anyways, but somehow the shadows are less dark and tree's less... menacing, when that presence evaporates like a chill wind. There's a drunk driver on a road that's about to get the scare of his soon-to-be-short life, and Ava finds herself compelled to be the one to provide it.
Kaydin	"Still look hot for an alien." Kaydin says as he smiles to her and he looks around before his phone begins to chirp. He looks to it and chuckles. "I need to head back home for a while. I hope to see you guys again." He says as he waits for them to tell him good bye before bluring away.
Kaydin	Kaydin is absorbed, now rogue will have super speed and an art fetish to draw on buildings
Kaydin	Kaydin votes for norman since he promises to get rid of spider man
Kaydin	Kaydin bets if rogue absorbs supergirl, she would be able to wear the cape
Kaydin	A blur moves along the city at super speed. It finally stops in centennial park and is revealed to be Kaydin. He pants heavily and moves to pull a soda from a backpack and takes a drink. This would be a good time to walk up to him and surprise him.
