Captain America     It is a Tuesday evening in New York City. There is a light November rain going outside as it hasn't quite gotten cold enough for snow yet, but not far off. The sun has set and the street lights have popped on although many are still getting used to the shorter days after Daylight Savings Time Ended. The streets are busy outside still as people rush to get places despite the drizzle.

Inside the Avengers Mansion, Steve Rogers walks through the halls. He is wearing the Captain America uniform but the mask is pulled back and the shield is strapped across his back. He walks slowly down the halls, looking over the pictures, and checking the security systems of the Mansion. It has been a quiet day which isn't always a bad thing.
Hermione A shower after Min's training session and she almost feels human again. The good news is that her fighting ability has improved almost exponentially. The bad news is that Hermione had forgotten what exhaustion felt like after her powers manifested. Steve knows just how to push her to get her to actually get a work out.

So, all clean and fresh, Hermione comes to say her thank yous and goodnights to Steve. Her glow is dim, most of her power being used in her workout, but still eminates off her like candlelight.
Tommy Oliver Truth be told. Tommy could use the viewing globe to check out how his former students are doing. But he feels it is a mis use of his powers, as he has chosen to catch the Zeta to New york, and avenger's mansion. With his raincoat on Tommy has been moving through the streets as he does his best to both stay warm, and stay dry. He doesn't mind. But as he heads over to the Mansion he figures out it's the best place to check in with to see how they are doing. He trusts Steve more so thank anyone else. And with a smile on his lips he will head to the front gate pushing the buzzer, asking if Captain America is there, introducing himself as Tommy Oliver. "Remember me you saved my students from Rita's abduction."
Cindy Moon     Cindy Moon wasn't sure how, exactly, to approach the Avenger's Mansion. Did she walk up to the door and just knock on the door? Did she make a fancy entrance as her costumed persona? She was fairly sure that she could trust Captain Marvel, and was almost positive she could trust Captain America. She wasn't totally aware that Thor was an Avenger...

In the end, Cindy decides to just walk up to the door or gate and press the button that is surely there to ring whomever watches the entrance. "Hello? Um.. Captain Marvel told me to come and visit? My name is Cindy... although, she saw me with a mask on, and.. well, I just thought this would be a smarter way to approach?"
Captain America     Steve smiles at Hermione as she comes up to him as she prepares to leave after the work out. "Good job today. Nothing prepares a body like hammering over and over on your craft. I have a great deal of confidence in you." He looks towards the front door as the Mansion security tells him that visitors have arrived. An image projects in the air showing Cindy arriving and Tommy soon after. ID Imagery recognizes Tommy as well as Cindy's encounter with Captain Marvel. They are known as safe. He walks towards the front door, not really trusting the electronic butler, and opens it himself. "Hello," he says with a smile to his new arrivals even as he pulls the mask up over his face to be the full Captain America answering the door.
Tommy Oliver Allowing Cindy to enter first as a gentleman, Tommy slowly as he comes inside he will have his coat off and give it a shake out side to get excess water out of it outside and with a smile. "Pleasure to see you again Steve. Thank you for letting me speak with you. How are you doing this holiday season?" he asks and then turning to Cindy offering her his hand. "Hello you a friend of Steve's here?" he asks.
Hermione Steve's words of encouragement are like music to Hermione's ears. "I didn't think I could still sweat. It's nice. But you're right, I do want to say bad things about you by the end of the workout." Well, he had actually said she would curse his name, but this is Hermione we're talking about. Saying bad things is probably the worst she is going to get.

She looks to the monitor that shows that people have arrived. "If you have guests, I could fly home. I don't want to be in your way."
Cindy Moon     Cindy is uncertain, looking over to Tommy. "Hi.." she offers as she eyes the man quietly. As if he couldn't be trusted. She has a certain paranoia to her- always looking over her shoulder. It certainly isn't the Avengers she's worried about, they're vetted heroes. "No. I've never met Mister Rogers before." she says, "Is Captain Marvel here?" she asks, next, taking a deep breath. She's safe here.

"I mean, I know *about* Captain America, who doesn;t?" she wonders, "That's American History. I mean, you're American History- " Cindy pauses, a bit of blush coming to her cheeks, "I mean! I didn't mean that you're old- history, just that you did historical things!"
Captain America     Captain America laughs softly at Cindy's muddled response to his appearance. "It is alright. I suppose I am old, but that is just a number." He offers one gloved hand towards Cindy. "Pleasure to meet you. The computer tells me you met up with our Captain Marvel. Unfortunately, she is not here, but I will hopefully assist you." He turns to look towards Tommy. "Pleasure to see you again. Welcome." He looks back towards Hermione and gestures her forward towards the visitors. "This is Hermione Langdon. She is a friend of ours."
Hermione As Cindy fumbles with her words about the living Icon that is Captain America, Hermione smiles brightly. She knows exactly how the other woman is feeling right now. When beckoned to approach, Minnie does so with a wave of her hand, smiling at Steve's back with warmth and admiration. "Hi there."
Tommy Oliver Tommy is a little taken back with how suspisious she is, but he offers a warm smile. One of friendship that seems genuine but he won't push it. As he says, "I was hoping to catch you Steve and I'm hoping I haven't come at a bad time." he smiles and bites his lip to avoid smiling at the fumbling of words Cindy has to choose and try and not insult him.

"With this crazy world, nothing surprises me honestly."
Cindy Moon     While the end result may be the same, the reason is very much different in Cindy's case. She's not good with social situations- some might call it rusty. "Oh. I can come back, I.. well, she invited me to visit so we could talk." she explains. She still looks at Tommy with quiet distrust.

"I need her help. Your help. I mean, the Avengers- and you specifically- but like as a whole." Cindy fumbles a bit more, "Someone is after me."
Captain America     "If you are in trouble, the Avengers are here to help," Captain America says in all seriousness. He nods as he gestures inside for Cindy. "Who is after you? And what should I call you? The computers did not have a name for you." He looks to Tommy and Hermione to invite them to stay as well with a nod. Welcoming them in. "I am sure it is not a bad time. Lets see what we can do for the young lady and then what else can be done."
Tommy Oliver Tommy Oliver is taken back when Cindy admits she needs help. And thinking it needs to be handled first takes a step back listening in on the conversation. He is wondering if he and the Other Rangers might be able to help.
Hermione When Cindy says she needs help, the Avengers help, Hermione rises off the ground to hover a foot off the ground. She looks to Steve expectantly. Is this it? Is she finally going to get to be a superhero? Her eager smile looks from Steve to the two friends of the Avengers and back again.
Cindy Moon     The young woman pulls her bottom lip between her teeth, "Welll, that's going to take some explaining, and I want to preface the explanation that its going to sound a little crazy, and I'm really sorry for that." Cindy begins, "Okay, so.. there is this guy called Morlun, and he and his family are sort of into sucking the life-force out of people like me and they want to like sacrifice me or use me for some kind of ritual and I just realized I didn't preface all of that with another explanation and..." She pauses, "Okay, so, like eight years ago, I was bitten by this spider..."
Captain America     Captain America brings up both his hands in a slow down gesture. "We can deal with crazy no problem here, but just take a breath and start at the beginning." He walks to one of the walls and pushes a button. "Could you bring us a glass of water, please?" The electronic buter beeps and whirs in response. Cap turns back towards his guests. "So I get you are in danger. You mention spiders. Does this have anything to do with Spider-Man as well?" He looks to his other guests. "Please take a seat. I have learned a long time ago that many heads are better than one when it comes to processing a lot of information at once."
Hermione Hermione starts to float backwards towards the seating area. She sits down herself, her glow surrounding her with soft light. She folds her hands in her lap and waits, letting Captain AMerica take charge. She chews on her lower lip, trying not to be too excited about the fact that maybe, just maybe, she might get to be a hero
Tommy Oliver Tommy will hang in the back ground listening to the woman's story as he also rubs his shoulders and uses it to brush past his wrist and turn his communicator on. He's not sure but Zordon might be interested in hearing this. Thankfully he has it on send only.
Cindy Moon     Cindy is just about to start from the beginning when Spider-Man is mentioned. It seems to set something off, "Oh, don't get me started on Spider-Man, he's to blame for this whole thing!" Cindy says, just segueing into another thing, "All that sacrifice for *nothing!* If he hadn't opened by bunker's door, none of this would be happening and I'd be sitting there, playing pokemon and re-watching Ken Burn's documentary about the Prohibition for the fifty-seventh time- But NoooOoo- he's got to open my bunker door and invite Morlun and his family here to kidnap me and do god knows what so they can rule the multiverse, or break the web of life and fate, or braid my hair or whatever it is they want!" She expounds as she goes to find a seat where offered.

"If he hadn't opened that door, that rat-kid wouldn't be dead today and they wouldn't be hunting me!"
Captain America     Cap walks over and puts an hand onto Cindy's shoulder if she lets him. "Slow down. You seem to be jumping to step 15 when I haven't even gotten on the train yet." He offers a warm smile once more as he tries to get this young lady focused. "Lets start with your name. You can call me Cap, Captain, Captain America, or even Steve if you really want."
Tommy Oliver Thinking Tommy will say, "Take a deap breath, focus on imagining the sound of rain. And let it out slowly. Let your mind be still, find it's center." He says trying to help Calm Cindy down so she can tell cap what she knows.
Hermione When the young woman, Cindy, starts ranting about Spider-Man and sacrifice and pokemon, Hermione looks to Steve, grateful that she isn't the one making any of the decisions here. Because frankly, she is very much confused. SHe rises and gets the glass of water from the electronic butler, bringing it to Cindy
Cindy Moon     Cindy takes the water when Hermione hands it to her. "Thank you."

She just holds onto it, quiet for a moment- taking a very deep breath. "Cindy. Cindy Moon." she begins, "When I was fifteen I got bitten by a spider at a school trip. It was the General Techtronics exhibition at the New Tork Hall of Science in Flushing Meadows, Queens. It was about the safe handling of nuclear laboratory waste materials." She remembers it- every moment like a picture. "I got bit on the ankle."

"All I wanted to do is go and play hockey." Cindy says with a sigh, "And everything since then has been terrible." Cindy's memory flashes. An argument between herself and her mother- she can't forget that she told the woman that she hated her. As the memories play like a movie through her peerless memory, every emotion is on her face. This is not a young woman who's got any skill at subterfuge.
Captain America     "Cindy, it is good to meet you." Cap steps back as the glass of water is handed to her allowing her to drink without anyone hovering over her. "It sounds like you are being hunted. Because of the bite on your ankle." He glances toward her leg and then back up to Cindy. "I understand. When I was just a little bit older, I became a target too. The Avengers are here to help you. You have the word of Captain America to believe in."
Cindy Moon     "Well, not the bite itself, but what the bite did to me." Cindy replies, "It gave me powers, and I couldn't control them, so this guy named Mister Sims came by and he helped me learn how to use my abilities." she continues, "He was a nice guy, but then he told me about Morlun and all the others and so, you know, I was fifteen years old and I heard about how they wanted to suck my soul out or eat my life force or whatever... and that he'd hurt my family, and if he got me, that something bad would happen. Like to everyone, everywhere, even in places like other dimensions- which was a really weird thing to think about, but I mean I was spraying silk webbing out of my finger-tips so, you know... I figured he knew what he was talking about."

"So, he offered to put my up in this bunker thing. HE didn't make me do it, I made the choice." She's quick to add. "And then Spider-Man opened the bunker door and ruined everything."
Captain America     Cap nods and listens. He takes a seat as he watches the young lady talk. Listening to what she has to say and making mental notes about how to deal with this problem.
Tommy Oliver AS he listens intently he is genuinely interested. And while Rita is the primary concern of the rangers. Rangers were created to protect the world and some times that means individuals as well. Right now Tommy asks. "So if I understand it, they exsist in another reality?" he asks. "There has to be some way they can be tracked back to their source."
Cindy Moon     "So now here I am, trying to make the best of it and trying to get people together to help me, because I sure don't have any chance to be able to handle this on my own. I mean, one of them showed up the other day! Spider-Man was there, this weird liquid metal dragon guy, a guy called Thor. Long hair, tiny hammer." Cindy just leans back into the chair, and sips her water again.

"Eight years. Eight years, Mister Rogers! I spent *eight* years *alone* in a bunker without any outside contact for a *purpose*. I was protecting everyone...." she sighs quietly, "And now its for nothing."

Cindy looks over to Tommy, taking a slow breath. "They travel along the Web of Life and Fate. Its.. its like where my Silk-Sense comes from. I can feel it, and I can feel them. Ezekiel- Mister Sims- told me they travel the multiverse. Hunting and eating Avatars."
Tommy Oliver as he thinks carefully Tommy's not sure how to answer. He could always show up as Green Ranger Later when she attract their attention again. "Web of fate, and life... forgive me sounds a touch like Shelob from the Shadow of War game, so magic? Well maybe the Avengers can find someone with magic to help shield you from their senses, and or find them."

Captain America Steve Rogers says, "It certainly would work with the clashing egos like Circe talked about."
Captain America Steve Rogers makes me want a bad guy to throw in there. :)
Captain America Steve Rogers grins. "That could be a fun plot if you would want to run with it at some point. Granted, never had a Sersi online here so you would have to play with that in your plans."
Captain America Steve Rogers nods. We would certainly want a story in place rather than some open ended thing.
Captain America Steve Rogers tries to shake her loose like a Loony Tune cartoon.
Captain America Steve Rogers says, "Not really any moving parts to tinker with, I would think."
