Owner Pose
Iron Fist As the man on the TV screen crawled in the muddy rain, he just managed to wrap the chain around the trailer. Weight was pulling it over a cliff, but he was trying to save his friends, so he attached the trailer to the car, and put it in full reverse. The car slid left and right as it fought with the weight. Danny clutched to Colleen in suspense, not having seen this one. Three people climbed up the role that went through the middle of the trailer, and they slid back down for a moment. And then, then, there was the thumping of the mated pair of Tyrannosaurus Rex's. They chomped down on the car, and ate the guy who had been trying to save his friends. "Poor Eddie," Danny said as he watched. The trailer miraculously fell around the people on the rope, exploding into a million pieces. "Jurassic Park 2 is a lot more intense than I thought it'd be."
Colleen Wing Colleen curled up with Danny, a bowl of popcorn on her lap, to be shared with him - even if he'd insisted upon the other tidbits they were sharing for the movie. So it was something of a ploughman's affair, with cheese, and pate, and crackers, and grapes, and wine... and popcorn. Because, as she'd insisted, "You can't watch movies without popcorn. Especially cheesy movies like Jurassic Park." And, unlike Danny, she wasn't too bothered by the man eating dinosaur. Truth be known? She was cheering for the T-Rex.
Iron Fist Yes, but Danny experienced something not too dissimilar to this. He fought and defeated Shao-Lao the Undying, a red dragon which permanently burned a tattoo-like feature onto his chest. After defeating Shao-Lao, Danny has plunged his fist into the dragon's heart, becoming the Iron Fist. Still, it was worrying seeing a monster, that realistic, that large, it brought back those memories. He didn't say anything, but it was clear he saw more to this than her, by the way his heart was racing, the way he twitched at parts. He still reached out for some popcorn though, enjoying its taste. It took him out of the experience, and he was thankful for that. "How many of these films are there?" He asked, casually as he placed a comforting arm around her shoulder. In truth, it was more comforting to him though.
Colleen Wing Colleen shrugs, looking over. "Three? Four? They're just silly. Nobody pays that much attention to them." And then she notices that his reaction isn't just atartled, but hyper-aware. Not usual. "Hey. You know they're just machines and computer generated, right?"
Iron Fist "Shao-Lao wasn't." He admitted, explaining his reaction. "Just, it... it's so real. Good, I like it, I'm enjoying it. But yeah, you know. I kind of fought something like the T-Rex. Just... bigger, with more teeth, and wings, and..." He then saw it, and didn't want to scare her. "It was tough. But it eventually brought me to you."
Colleen Wing There's a knowing, and understanding nod from Colleen. "We don't have to watch this, you know? People don't watch movies for all sorts of reasons. I knew this guy who hated snakes and couldn't watch Indiana Jones. Same thing."

She leans and gives his cheek a kiss. "Sounds pretty frightening, actually. Oh, did I tell you? We - that is Hawkeye and I - we ran into these ninjas the other day. Disappeared into poofs of smoke when we hit them hard enough. I'd gotten a text from one of my contacts leftover from my Hand days. I know it was a distraction, but I don't know for what."
Iron Fist Danny feels heartened by the kiss on his cheek. He turns a bit, wrapping his arms around her, and giving her a big hug. "That's kind of cool. So, was it they turned into smoke, or they used smoke pellets, disappearing in a cloud of smoke?" He had heard of both forms, the pellets being by far the more common of the two. "And we can keep watching. I want to see who makes it out alive."
Colleen Wing Colleen thinks back. "Disappeared into smoke, I think." But truth be known, at the time she'd been a little too busy to pay closer attention. What with there being several, and an innocent bystander to boot. Speaking of which - he'd taken pictures, hadn't he? What had become of those?
Iron Fist "Hmm," Danny emitted, and probably would have stroked his chin thoughtfully if he hadn't already been quite so close to Colleen, with his arms wrapped around her. "Hard to say on so little. We'll definitely have to watch out for them in the future."
Colleen Wing She nods, still looking thoughtful. "I'm more concerned about what it was we missed. There was a reason the young man was there. And that text. I really should look into it now that I think of it. Or we should." Colleen smiles. "Hawkeye was that Avenger I told you about. Not so great with the martial arts, but some nice tricks with that bow of his." Clearly amused. "So, verdict on the movie? More?" Of course the movie has gone past that man eating scene.
