Owner Pose
April O'Neil April had ridden her bike back all the way south east to Brooklyn from Manhattan, she'd needed the bike ride to take her mind off the fact taht she just lost her job because she was attacked at work, which in her mind is COMPLETELY OUT OF HER CONTROL.

But, whatever, the ride had helped clear her mind and after arriving home she'd just taken her bike in through the front door of the antiques shop on the 1st floor then parked it by the door and closed/locked the front door up again.

Her apartment sits above the Antique Shop and this is where she is now. She's got some music on on her stereo in the living room and she's in the kitchen making herself some dinner, she's not in a great mood by any means but she's trying to just let the night roll on by... she'll worry about 'life' in the morning.
Donatello There is a purposeful rattle and thunk froom the fire escape. Donatello has startled April once or twice being too ninja and while the stories were funny to think back on, having pots thrown at him at the time wasn't. "Hey April," He says, a note of concern in his voice as he somehow nimbly slips through the window.
April O'Neil April had mostly gotten used to the Turtles coming and going from her place, if she wanted privacy she usually shut herself into her bedroom or office and closed the doors and locked them! But in the main apartment she didn't care if they showed up unannounced, she knew it was tough for them TO announce themselves sometimes, PLUS on a day like this... with all the news about the attack on the C6 Station that left it in ruins, she kind of expected them all to drop by!

April steps back out of the kitchen and she smiles at him. "Hey." She says to Donnie. "Figured you guys might stop by, I'm making home made pizza. I know... I know, its not as good as the store bought stuff. But I'm getting better!" She tries to assure the Ninja in Purple. "Where's the other guys?" She asks, looking to the window. The Million Dollar question!
Donatello The worry and concern fades a little bit as he sees her bustling about. "Good, you're safe," He says as he makes his way into the kitchen and plops down backwards in one of the chairs at April's small table. "Bah, they complain too much. This way is healthier you know?"

"They are trying to figure out where that red menace came from and why. Or rather they were before a troop of foot seperated us. They told me to come and check on you and stick around till they got her," He says as he looks her over carefully. "What happened? Are you okay?"
April O'Neil April moves back to the counter's edge where she tends to the food that she's preparing and she listens to Donnie's words. A smile is presented at him on her lips when she looks back at him and her shoulders shrug inside of the bright yellow hoodie she's wearing. "Yeah, I'm not hurt. I wish I could say the same for some of my... former... co-workers. That little red monster killed two of them, Donnie. Right in front of my eyes, literally in one case." She huffed out a sigh then to let the stress of that memory out even just a little.

"I don't know where the red guy came from, but I know he's pure evil. Hopefully the police can just keep his little scrawny butt locked up." She'd uncovered the truth about him, where he was hiding, and thats why he'd attacked her and wanted her dead. She broke his cover here on Earth.
Donatello "What? Former?!" Donatello is the most perceptive of his brothers. If he had eyebrows they'd be going up, but the surprise is still there. He is on his feet and moving to offer her a hug. "Aw man, why former? They didn't fire you again for things not your fault did they?!" He sounds upset as well as concerned. "Want me to send a stink bomb to your ex-boss?"
April O'Neil April happily accepts the hug from the turtle that she's always had the easiest time talking to. Donnie was the most compassionate of the four brothers and he was also the best listener as well. So when he rises up to hug her she returns the hug with a warm soft smile to him and a little shake of her head at his words.

A laugh at the stink bomb bit, but she has to deny that. "I don't think that'd help, ultimately." She replies to it. "She has funerals to go to, so I'm pretty sure thats enough stink in her life. I..."

April sighs then and turns back to the counter where the pizza is being prepared. "I think its for the best. I can focus on the Online work more now."
Donatello Donatello was mostly joking about the stink bomb anyway. He was far too nice to do something like that and revenge was Raph's thing anyway. "Yeah, well, it's fun to think about right?" He says with a chuckle and moves to sit back down in the seat. "They'll be sorry they let you go soon enough. -Again-!" The purple-masked turtle shakes his head and snorts. "Your online work has gotten a lot of attention anyway. I think it is better because you can just do you."
April O'Neil "Thats the dream." April replies to Donnie's last words about the Online Work and she's grinning back at him lightly while she's moving to put the pizza into the oven.

Once inside she's wiping her hands off and moving to sit at the table herself where she has a glass of white wine poured for herself because, mmm alcohol on the day you're fired!

"Tell the rest of them thanks for looking out for me too... I know they worry a lot, I mean, we gotta stick together right?" She smiles at the Turtle while leaning back against the wall the table is pushed up against, another sip of the wine is had. "The most annoying part is that they all acted like it was my fault."
Donatello Donatello leans forward and crosses her arms across the back of the chair, resting his chin on them. "Which is totally -not- fair. Like, at all," Donnie agrees with a slight shake of his head. "I mean, reporters get threatened and attacked -all- the time. Well, the good ones anyway." He smiles a little lopsidedly at the reporter. "So how can -I- help? What do -you- know about the red meany?"
April O'Neil "Eh, my boss just hated me because I pushed too hard at the stories and she was a traditionalist that believes the viewers just want to know what the weather is and how everything is 'fine' outside their windows in the morning." April responds to that while she brings her sock-covered-feet up to the edge of the chair she's perched on and her none-glass-holding arm goes around her knees. "I don't know a lot about him. I just happened to figure out that he was, alive. He was pretending to be someone's toy, like some kind of weird collector's item? Ya know, like they sell at comic cons. But, I caught him moving, like a possessed demon doll, and thats what lead to him freaking out. I told the person he was faking around, blew his cover... and so on."

April's head shakes back and forth. "I'm not even sure what his plan was, though I'm certainly interested to find out!"
Donatello There is a squeel of a radio and Leo's voice yelling from Donatello's belt of techy things. He frowns and reaches down to pick it up. "What's up?" There is a lot of yelling, the sounds of squeeling tired and gunfire in the background. But it's clear they need the fourth brothers help for whatever it is. "April, I got to go! I'll be back. Lock up just to be safe, okay? If it's a doll, who knows how it could get in if it got free of the cops." Then he is moving and out the window. And he is fast, like some kind of teenage ninja or something.
Savage Dragon KNOCK-KNOCK the banging on the door audible. Savage Dragon ever oblivious completely missed the very ninja turtle. In the usual blue uniform his thumbs hook in to his utility belt and he stares at the ceiling, from the fronts of his specially fitted dress shoes to the heels he teeters. A low hum filling his head.

It has been some time since he and April had a falling out, time enough the last place he seen her was at the Channel 6 building while she was attacked by Mister Glum, saved by Power Girl and then fired. One would think Channel 6 would love that kinda press but when your employees get vaporized... well, such as it is.
April O'Neil April is inside her office when the knocks come to the door, not many people have access to the second lvel of the store so she already knows who it is just by his knock... everyone kind of has their own way of knocking on doors, afterall, and Savages are always two heavy hits.

She reaches her hand up to take her black framed glasses of of her nose and then sets them down on the desk beside her computer. She stands and moves out of the office toward the door, adjusting her yellow hoodie around her waistline as she moves to unlock the chains and then peer out into the foyer of the 2nd floor above her store.

"Hey." She says to him then, moving to fully open the door. "Come on in." She adds, stepping away from the doorway herself now to walk further into the living room of her apartment she'd been raised in the majority of her life.
Savage Dragon "Hey." He says back almost hesitant to step in then he is, a thumb jerking at the open window. "Cold out. You have a kitchen fire or something?" Not the first time hes come to her apartment and windows have been wide open. Last time a fire, time before that feeding a neighborhood cat, always some reason.

"I figured I'd swing by and check on you. Let you know whats going on, Mister Glum is being sent off to a maximum security prison, we found no accomplices. It was just that little maniac."
April O'Neil April turns to look to the window and she faintly smirks as she walks toward it and closes it down shut again. "I got a pizza in the oven, I guess there was some stuff on the bottom when I started it... it got kinda..." She turns back around with her forearms crossed over her stomach. "Smokey in here." Thats her excuse THIS time, and its a solid one!

The redhead moves toward the kitchen and glances over at him. "You're welcome to have some if you want, its a 'mega large' size." She shows a faint grin, having expected different green people to be here tonight to help her eat the food. "I hope someone shanks him while he's there though, right in his eyeballs."
Savage Dragon "Doesn't seem very smokey. Gross though." Dragon teases, "Clean your ovens, lady."

"I'm stuffed for once. Several of the guys and I went out for dogs earlier, had a competition. I let Fat Pauly win. Nothing like a brautwurst hangover." A pat to his flat abdomen under that buttoned shirt.

"More than likely. He has a mouth bigger than he is. No Angel though, we're looking, put up a missing persons report." A pause of silence after he says that and despite his decline of the pizza hes taking up a piece, "New York Pie, right, suppose I can have one or three." Munchmunch.
April O'Neil Once the pizza is set down on a wooden pizza tray, April steps aside to to get herself a new glass of wine. She glances over at him. "Careful, its hot." She warns him, knowing full-well that he'll dive in irregardless of that warning!

She pours her glass and then steps back over to her chair at the table and lowers down onto the edge of it. "Angel's probably with whomever her closest friend is at school. I bet if you call them and ask around, they'll know who that is." And a sip of the wine is had while SHE waits for the pizza to cool.

"How is Pauly? He's my favorite of your friends afterall..." She tells him with a light smirk.
Savage Dragon Feel the heat and be affected by it are two separate things. This is a man who has never used an oven mitt. "Dragon, duh." A taunt as he chews around the piece.

"Yeah, dunno, will find her eventually." He says as if he doesn't want to talk too much about it beyond what he has said. The young woman is a powerhouse, capable of protecting herself but then, the world is full of cretins like Glum.

"Pauly, still a card, same as usual about to be dropped to just deskwork though. I think he may prefer it, his physical tests, just... worth a laugh or ten."

"How are you doing for work?"
April O'Neil April stands up from her chair then and she moves to get a plate and a couple of pieces of the pizza. It was loaded with toppings, all fresh from the store that she'd gotten on her way home. "I'll send him some chocolates if he gets sent to deskwork." She says quietly with a little smile.

"I'm doing fine with work, I actually got more subscribers in the past few hours than I have on any of my videos in the past several months." She turns around and smirks at him. "Guess my firing gets me more attention than just trying to present the news with a pretty face!" And she gives a big sarcastic smile then before moving to sit down at the table.

"So you're invulnerable to fire?" She asked, she'd never asked that question before!
Savage Dragon "Now you're own boss full time." Draon remarks, the smirk getting a returned smile. "Now you just have to figure out how to turn that in to an income but then... " A shrug of brawny shoulders, "The alternatives are out there."

A set down of a half eaten piece on an empty plate.

"I suppose so, yeah, its never been an issue. I assume I'm a dragon, why not, yeah?" The man to this day has no clue he is an alien. Just a memory lost mutant or metahuman. "I dont breath fire though so next question dont even bother."
April O'Neil April puts one foot up on the chair with the elbow up by her shoulder and she can't help but take a second to grin at Dragon's words. "I know you don't breath fire!" She retorts. "I mean, I'm pretty sure I would've seen you do that by now. Especially when you get mad at the chinese food deliverman for not bringing you your egg rolls." She lifts a slice up to take a dainty bite from it before she dabs at her fast with a napkin while looking down at the table.

"Majority of my money is already coming from the internet. My video ad revenue, the donations that my biggest fans give me..." She draws in a breath and slowly lets it out again. "I'll have more time to make more content, but part of me wonders if I should spend that time on something else. Like opening the antiques store up again downstairs. I feel like I should stop holding onto my mother's stuff, like I need to let it all go."
Savage Dragon "She meant for it to be sold, right?" Dragon asks the obvious.

"I figure if I could breath fire it would have come with all the pizza and soda belches. Unfortunately, no, no fire breathing for me."

"You should open the shop, might be something new and a good distraction. Plus, all that dust, cleaning that off alone will give you a years worth of things to do."
April O'Neil More of the pizza was consumed by the redhead who was doing her damndest not to pick at it OR go and get a fork and knife... cause the 'guys' always berate her if they catch her eating with a fork and knife. Which tends to lead to a lot of sub-terrainian debating on the subject when she's down there with them in the sewers.

"Of course it won't." April says to him with a grin before she takes a drink of wine. And after lowering the glass again she has a twinkle in her blue eyes. "Cause I'm recruiting YOU to help me do it!" And then she raises her chin up a bit and wiggles her nose at him. Back to being that nerdy-playful-type that she is. At least a little anyway!
Savage Dragon "Uh, are you now?" Dragon inquires, a slight note of confusion in his voice and expression. "After all things you still want me to hang around? I mean, I got you fired technically, sort of and just... " A hapless shrug again, large green hands just waving out around him, "Whichever. I got the time lately."

"This mean I can crash at your house again?" A grin appears on the man's features. That question hosting many questions. He like her is trying to keep it light despite some level of serious in all this.
April O'Neil April has to smirk at this response from the man and she takes a moment to swallow the pizza she'd bitten off and then shrugs her shoulders. "Depends entirely on how good at cleaning you are, Officer Dragon." She tells him back, cracking a little smile.

"But yeah, I have to clean the place up BEFORE I open it back up to the public, or it'll get a reputation of being dusty as some old -tomb- and hows that gonna help me out at making all the money I need to keep up my cocaine addiction?" And now she was just being silly for the sake of being silly.

April glances back at the window that Donnie'd gone back out, but she didn't see anyone there, she'd half expected to see four 'someones' there and is shocked they hadn't barged their way into meeting Savage yet.
Donatello There is a thunk outside the previously opened window. Like something landing, or maybe falling, on the fire escape outside. A glance out the window shows nothing right off the bat...
Savage Dragon "Right." Dragon says thoughtfully, "I guess we will find out when I do this whole maid thing with you. Why not." A rub at the back of his neck, those green eyes study April and he presents half a smile, "Okay, whens this cleaning day for you? I'll juggle my schedule."

"Your cocaine addiction can go right next to your porn problems." A tease of course and hes stuffing that list bit of his earlier pizza in his mouth. There is a studious look from him though, shes being sized up like hes suddenly a cop or a stranger again.
April O'Neil April hears the thud outside the window and she looks over at it again. "Damn... stray cats..." She mutters softly as she glances back at him. "Oh yeah, me and porn. We go way back!" She's not the best at gracefully back out of a teased comment like that so she just says something that makes next to no sense about it before she stands up to step out of the kitchen.

Once back in the living room, April's moving toward that window that'd been open again!
Donatello What likely had been expected at the window is not. Because laying on the fire escape is a very unconscious Foot soldier. They are dressed in the traditional dark grey and purple and are completely limp. There is more sounds from the roof. Sounds like Mikey making his own sound effects again.

Then there is another rattle as Donatello lands as softly as he can to the far side of the metal escape porch. Because that is what fire escapes really are in New York, porches. But the purple-masked turled wiggles his three fingers, bo-staff out, and bends to quickly zip tie the foot soldier hand and feet. "Told ya I'd be back!" He says cheerfully, not knowing about April's company...
April O'Neil April was on her way to the window when the body of the foot soldier landed on the metal fire escape outside of it. The sudden shock of that is what elicits a shout from the redhead, afterall seeing a body suddenly land in front of you just outside your window is a little shocking to say the least!

"Oh my god!" April utters in a mixture of a lot of emotions, exhaustion at the sheer madness of this day being one of the primary ones she's feeling too.

And then Donnie's there and April's eyes go wide, not because she's afraid of him meeting Dragon, more-so because she's knows they prefer to stay anonymous... sort've anyway. Leonardo maybe, the rest? Probably not so much.

"Donnie!" April shouts at him out the window, then puts her hand against her chest and points back behind her in the direction that Savage is in. But if there's more foot soldiers outside? The Purple Turtle's probably got bigger concerns.
Savage Dragon "Donnie? and what the hell?" Dragon all but barks out in surprise at the freefalling violent land and wrap up work of the turtle vs the ugly clad ninja.
"April, you uh, what?" The muscular, too-wide green skinned, green finned off-duty cop is staring at the turtle, "Thats a turtle." He points a finger. "You have a turtle in your window. "

"Also a ninja. What the hell is in this pizza?"
Donatello "Ah...technically I'm on the fire escape," Donatello says looking from April to Dragon and back. There isn't much helping it now is there. Though he did do a double take at the green-skinned man his wits were still sharp as ever.

"April, you got a green finny guy in your apartment." And he jerks his fat thumb through the window at him. There is a yell above and the fire escape starts to rattle. And it's because people are climbing and leaping down it. "Wu'oh," He says as he glances up. "Stay back, we got this." Michaelangelo goes by down after four dark shapes doing a very good interpretation of a spider-monkey for a turtle. Then there are three foot on the fire excape above, moving to flip down and likely cause problems.
April O'Neil April looks back behind her left shoulder to Dragon and then back to Donnie. "Uh..." Is the redhead's initial reaction to both of their spoken descriptions as to whats going on in front of the other. "You're both so observant!" She says then, clapping her hands together and lacing her fingers between each other. She bites down on her lower lip for just a second before she then nods once and points to Dragon.

"He's a cop!" She says to Donnie, the her finger goes up and down Savage's person. "See by his clothes? Thats not stripper clothing!" April then nervously laughs for a second.

THEN she points at Donnie and looks to Dragon. "He's a Ninja, aaaand a, turtle." She clears her throat, her right hand going to the back of her neck beneath her red hair.

And then MIKEY flies by and April's eyes go wide for a second. "Are we in trouble?" She asks Donnie? "Should we be fleeing?"
Savage Dragon "A cop?" Dragon asks then looks at April, "Yeah, I'm a cop." He manages looking back at Donatello and past him. "Definitely not a stripper."

"Right because a ninja turtle makes a lot of sense. This the company you always sneak out for and make excuses about? I thought maybe you were cheating on me."
"I mean, not that we laid ground rules and you're ya.... "

"These other guys, the ones are not your friends I am assuming?" He asks April, his eyes not leaving the purple-clad turtle though.
Donatello "Nah, we got this April!" That would be Raphael from the escape above as he flattened, with a well-timed leap, three of the four that had been swinging down. Donnie punted the fourth in the belly with his Bo-staff, sending him flying out and away into the alley.

"Nah, we're wrapping this up," Donatello says as he turns back from playing pool with the Foot soldier. He turns to look at Savage Dragon now as he speaks. There are no eyebrows to raise, but the look he gives is pretty much the same. And if turtles could blush Donnie might be as well. "Ahhh, uhhh, so yeah. The guys got this wrapped up. I caught up with them near here chasing a gaggle of them. Gaggle? Maybe we should give them a better group name...because Geese are gaggles and they're actually mean." Donnie actually seems to think about this as Raphael busies himself zip tying the hand that were taken down aboe.

"Ugh. It don' matter Donnie," Raph says to his younger brother. "Leo's comin'" He adds as the fire escape rattles once more. That likely means someone is getting glared at soon, probably Donatello since he is the one in actual SIGHT of Dragon.

"Maybe not to you," Donnie mutters as he looks up, watching Leo make his way down to stand next to Raph. He looks from April's face to Donnie's slightly guilty one, to Raph's vaguely amused one.

"All right, what did you do Donatello?" The blue-masked turtle leader asks his brother, crossing his arms.
April O'Neil "Cheating?" April looks back at Dragon with an annoyed expression on her face aimed right at him. "Why on earth would y--" She cuts herself off though as this isn't really the time for that, especially since Raphael was outside tying up another one of the dark robed morons who've been plaguing this part of the city off and on for a year now or more now.

April winces at Donnie's words about geese. "I got a few descriptors for them, but they're probably not, appropriate."

Back in Savage's direction though, April motions him over toward her. "They're teenagers." She tells him. "Angel's age. They're, mu-mutants."

And then at Donnie she points to Dragon again. "He's a cop, in Mutant town. We've been dating for awhile now. I just didn't introduce you guys because Splinter, you... know how he gets if we bring 'new people' around."
Savage Dragon Dragon waves his arms out wide, "What do I know!?" He almost shouts, "I mean, you didn't tell me a damn thing about this and now it's a turtle ninja kung fu thing outside your apartment. This shits real. Look! Thats a damn throwing star.'

An exhale from Dragon and he is shoving the table in front of him aside, rolling up his sleeves. "I'll help." He says, if they need it, which they may not. "They're like spider-monkeys on crack out there."
"Oh... teenagers... shit, I'm sorry kid." Dragon sombers almost immediately, "I mean, sheep. I am.... gah." One hand rises and splays out on his face.

"Seriously what is going on and how many of them are there?"
Donatello "You said that," Says Donnie to April, when she mentions the cop thing for the third time.
"A cop?! Donnie, what on earth were you -thinking-?!" That would be Leo.
"HAH! You're busted now, bro," Says Raphael as he picks up two of the Foot and drops them down into the dumpster so conveniently positions by Mikey down below. "Bombs away!"
"Bulls eyes! WOOHOO!" And that would be Mikey, his voice faintest of all from the street level.

"Mikey!" Leo's voice is tightly controlled, but it silences the youngest brother quickly. In fact most of them go quiet. After a moment of peering at Dragon from the odd angle on the fire escape he moves silently down and around Donatello. He glances down at the young brother trying to become part on the wall, "We'll talk later." Then those bright blue eyes turn to the cop and look him up and down. "Can we come in, please, April?" He finally asks of their friend. "It might be better. We'll leave the Foot in the dumpster and Mikey can make the call. They're all tied up now." For being a teenager he is awful level headed.
April O'Neil April watches Dragon march over and roll up his sleeves. "I think its safe to say that we -both- have things that we haven't told the other person, wouldn't -you-?" She says in a very pointed manner, of course referencing the red menace himself 'Mister Glum'.

The fired-reporter then looks back out the window and motions to them. "They're very capable fighters. They've been savin' my butt for awhile now... Since, ya know, someone's always trying to kill me." Sometimes April's Brooklyn accent shines through more than others, depending on how tired she is!

The window is opened further, then another one. "Come in, come in." She tells them all. "There's food in the kitchen... God, why are the Foot here? I've had a pretty shitty day overall so far ya know!"
Savage Dragon "You're right." Dragon admits with a grunt, not that he can win that argument in the least. Its not like her friends are attacking him and turning his coworkers in to goo piles or making him lose his job.
"I see this, I'm having a hard time keeping track of them, crazy Bruce Lee stuff."

Dragon says nothing about them coming in, hes instead hooking his thumbs in his utility belt and curious looking at the mutants. "Plenty of pizza." He remarks, "I'm... I'm glad and whats with you and green?" A sudden grin is given to April, "Hello fellas. Hello... "

Still dumbfounded hes trying to at least be polite, some part of him is feeling a sense of camaradarie with the color theme. Turtles meet Dragon.
Donatello There is a magic word in the air. And that word is, "Pizza!" Raphael is through the window fast, maybe faster, than a cat. "Thanks April!" He calls in his own Brooklyn accent. "Aw man..." Much softer, but still audible, as he discovers...take and bake! The horror, at least for him.

His brother's reaction makes Donatello snort and snicker as he makes his way in and Leo through the other window. There is the sound of scraping from the dumpster down below. Likely Mikey moving it.

Leo doesn't go for the kitchen however. He comes to stand right in front of Dragon, arms crossed, looking the cop up and down. His expression is...well, serious is the closest word. "Hello, sir," He says respectfully. Then he turns to look at April, "He does have a point about the green. I'm surprised you haven't painted the walls." Even Leonardo has a sense of humor, and April brings it out.

Donatello returns with two plates and pizza on each. One is handed to Leonardo while he flops onto the couch. And that is when Mikey slides through the window and strikes a pose, "TA-DA! Coppers called an-" And he sees Savage Dragon. "Bogus! How you get here so quick, man?" And then it dawns on him and his eyes go wide and he looks at Leo, who waves a hand as he sighs.
April O'Neil When Savage asks her whats with her and 'green' she just looks over at him and shrugs her shoulders with her hands spreading out wide on either sides of her. "Luck of the Irish?" She says at him, giving him her best excuse as to what could be the reason for that. "I don't honestly have any explanation for it."

And then there's Leonardo, the one she knows is going to expect the most answers out of her, or at least shame her if she doesn't have them... to some degree anyway. She smiles at Leo, the motions to Dragon. "This is... Officer Savage Dragon. Cool name, right?" She says to the blue-bandana wearing Leader of the turtles.

At Savage then, she points to him. "Leonardo..." She motions to the purple one. "Donatello." Then to the one in Red, who gets a soft exhale and a hand motion as he's already all over the food. "Raphael."

"And... wait for it..." April knows them well enough by now to tell--and when Mikey lunges through the window and triumphantly showcases himself she grins. "Michelangelo."

She puts her blue eyes back onto Dragon. "They're my friends. Kinda like, my guardians too. They've probably kept me more alive than I have even bothered trying to do."
Savage Dragon "Dragon is fine." The green cop tells Leonardo, curiously following each of them in their mad dash for the pizza, they are young acting, shes not lying about them being teenagers and despite his alarm moments ago hes grinning a little. Though, a sidelong glance at April says hes feeling abashed there, words that come out sometimes should not! He knows better than to question her integrity.

"They protect you from ninjas, I am seeing this, my question comes next though, why are they protecting you from ninjas?" A nod given to each when names are offered up,"Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, Michaelangelo... got it. You'll probably have to remind me again. " A hand lifts up and waves, "I am a good cop, not going to turn you guys in or anything just... here, visiting our lady friend and trying to pull a foot out of my throat. Not those... kinda Foots... " he is confused at the anatomy ninja stuff, clearly.
Donatello "Awww, April!" Mikey says and goes to hug her. Leonard just shakes his head at the youngest brother. "OOoo! Pizza," And Mikey swipes a piece from his oldest's plate. "Extra cheesy!"

Donatello is chuckling to himself at Mikey's antics. He sits, cross legged, one odd foot kicking it as he eats. When introduced he waves and says, "Hi," After swallowing his bite.

Raphael? He is not so big on the manners. "Yo," Is given from where he sits at the kitchen table, a little away from everyone else with his pizza. Pretty standard for the second eldest.

"We would really appreciate it if you would keep this to yourself," Leonardo says calmly as he shoots Michelangelo a glare, guarding his other slice with his other hand for the moment. "Thief," He shames Mikey on the side. Then those blue eyes are back on Savage Dragon. "It's a little complicated," He admits.

"Naaaahhh! It's easy, Leo. Bad guys attack girls. Heroes come to the rescue. Idiot brother leaves something behind, girl takes it- OW!" A plastic glass glances off Mikey's head and is caught by Leo who shoots Raphael a look.
April O'Neil While the turtles are all talking and interacting with the introductions to Dragon, April is moving around tending to them and making sure that they all have napkins, well... she knows Leo does, he always does.

A soft pat is given to the grumpy Raph's left shoulder, because she cares for each and all of them and its her way of saying 'Hi' to the one who doesn't like to vocally exchange pleasantries.

From the fridge, April retrieves an 'orange crush' soda for Mikey and brought over to him with his napkin pile and for Donnie, April picks up the controller to her XBox and offers it to him.

All in all, she seems to know what each one of them wants. To Dragon she walks then and gives him a nervous grin. "They protect me from more than just the Foot clan. You know how I pry into things... get my nose in places it doesn't belong. They've been there to get me out of it." She then exhales softly and her head shakes off the 'Foot' in general.

"The martial arts master who trained the Turtles, has a rival who's come to this city to try to... capitalize on the corruption. Now that he knows his rival is here also, and has trained the guys... the Foot has it out for them, and well, I've sort've gotten my nose into THAT mess too, which shouldn't surprise anyone."
Savage Dragon "This is nuts." Dragon finds himself repeating but the smiles are contagious, "So, you guys all fight and protect, like vigilantes?" A look over at Leonardo, "Secret is safe. Don't worry. Gotta rep the Green and I wouldn't betray April."

Leaning back the big man folds his arms over his chest, a thought coming to him, "You guys get around real easy too, huh and April you're off work... maybe we can all help eachother here."

"I need help. I am asking so... not bargaining, I suppose this is me asking." He give a look to April then each of them to see if they're curious despite Xbox distractions, eachother and pizza.
Donatello "Oooooh yeah!" Mikey says as he takes both napkins and soda with a grin for April, plate on his lap. Donatello already had napkins, because he is smart and considerate like Leo, but the remote makes his eyes light up.

"Thank yooooooooou!" Says Donnie as he starts firing it up. Raphael grunts a smirks at April's pat, but mostly he just watches Dragon with a critical eye. He seems the most suspicious of the cop.

"And now Shredder is back," Leo says with a sigh as he finally settles in next to Mikey. The eldest listens the most intently to Savage Dragon, though Donnie is paying attention even as he pulls up World of Tanks. Because of course. At least the volume is almost nil. "Well...yeah. Vigilantes I guess, though that has such a bad context sometimes. Like that Punisher guy," He says between bites of pizza.

"Or the Devil of Hell's Kitchen." Quips Mikey who suddenly grunts at an elbow from Donatello. "What?!"

"He's cool. The Devil is cool," Is all Donnie says as he begins playing. "So what do you need help with?"

"It will, of course, have to be approved by Master Splinter," Leonardo cautions, glancing across the couch at him.
April O'Neil April is sitting down on the arm of her sofa chair and her hands are going into her pockets, she glances to the tv to see Donnie firing up his favorite 'tank game' as she calls it.

Her eyes go back to Savage and she's curious to know what he wants help with but she just nods her head softly to him. "They're way better at this hero stuff than most of the publicly known super hero types. Like, say, Batman, who causes more destruction than any one person really should. The guys are like, precision butt kicking." She shows a little grin then.

When Splinter is brought into the equation, a look is shown to Leo, then to Dragon and she motions with her hand to about 4-foot off the ground and she quietly mouths out the word. "Mutant, Rat." And then her voice picks up again as her hands rest in her lap. "He's wonderful. The wisest man you could ever hope to meet. He's like a living breathing fortune cookie." She laughs softly at her own joke and then stops to glance around.

"Is that racist?" She has to ask.
Savage Dragon Savage Dragon says, "Like the difference between a hummer and a sports car the way you make it sound." Dragon rubs his back in to the wall managing to be careful not to break it. Superstrong is ridiculous sometimes.
"I need help finding my kid, she disappeared and isn't showing back up. Probably doesn't want to be found." Dragon looks from the ninja crew to April, "Mutant Rat?"

Its no words required from Dragon as he starts to pilfer O'Niel's fridge, a beer being popped open and chugged at.

"You guys help me and I can promise your rears you're covered in my district."
"The Devil is cool? Oh the red guy... heh... "

"Speciest a thing? Maybe. What do you think my green cousins?""
Donatello It makes Mikey laugh, Raph snort and Donnatello is grinning as he blows something up. Mikey shouts encouragement. It really seems like this is a second home for the boys. Leo, however, just smiles a bit at April's comment about fortune cookies. "Ah, yeah. He is our mentor and the closest thing we have to a father," The eldest explains as he wipes his hands and fingers.

"And as strict as one too!" Mikey comments before starting to pat Donnie's leg fast at something really intense on the screen. "Get 'em, Get 'em, YEAH!"

"Finding someone who doesn't want to be found? We have some experience with that," Donnie says as if he were not distracted at all. There is a mild explosion from the screen and even Raphael pulls a chair in to watch the carnage. "And, I mean, April's the best at finding things that don't want to be found."

Leonardo and all the rest nod or murmer their agreement.
April O'Neil April listens to the reason from Dragon and she can hear the concern for Angel in his voice even if he doesn't want to really show that its there. Its his adopted kid, so why wouldn't he be worried? Men were weird like that though...

Once she hears the reaction from the guys about it all she glances around at them all and has to add in. "Its in relation to that Glum guy who attacked the News Station. He was hiding in her doll collection, pretending to BE one of them. After I found him out, he went nuts... and she freaked out about it all. So now she's... 'out there' somewhere. We're not sure if she's safe or not."

With a light exhale, April looks back to Dragon. "We'll find her. LIke I said, we need to find out who her first are from school and start there first."
Savage Dragon "She never liked April. Sort of just... escalates from there. Doesn't want her mom replaced not that she would have, serious age gap to be considered." Dragon explains further, glad April is tackling a bulk of it.

"They're her age, they'll speak her language better than either of us, if shes safe they can convince her way easier to get back here."
Dragon finishes the rest of that beer grabbing out another one. "Glum has allies, access to another dimension, she might not be able to. You guys already showed off you're capable of handling yourselves though."
Donatello "Well, I for one am willing to help!" Donatello says cheerfully as another enemy position is over run by his side. "And I bet Splinter will be okay with it. It's helping April out too." He glances at Leon to his his brothers reaction. And doesn't get blown up in turn.

"Well, I think so too. And I am willing, as long as Splinter says yes. And he may want to meet you," Leonardo says with a shrug. Lights outside the window indicate the cops have arrived, the other ones, to clean up the trash outside. Mikey springs to his feet to go peer out the window with a grin.

"Seems ta me you should be able ta find her. I mean, you are a cop right?" And there is Raphael. Always the voice of dissention, with his rough Brooklyn accent. Donnie just groaned.
April O'Neil April had a couple six packs of Dragon's favorite beer in the fridge, because she was always the 'party house' so-to-speak anyway, stocked with everyone's favorites. And now Dragon was probably seeing that, all the orange soda and junk food in the place that he never saw HER ever eating or drinking. Not to mention that Ninja Star he found once... lots of questions were likely answered here tonight!

At Raph, April looks with a small frown. "She's super powered, Raph." She tells him. "Its more complicated than finding your average person. She can fly and... well... if she's not even in the city anymore, I'm not sure what to do about it. But we have to try to find out."

April's blue eyes go back to Dragon then. "I don't think Glum's going to stay in a prison very long, by the sounds of it he's too resourceful... for being a crazy little monster."
Savage Dragon "I'm up for meeting Splinter." Dragon says, his words chosen carefully there as he almost called Splinter other word options. Its not a flowing name that one. "I am but I am busy with District X and I'm one of the people she doesn't want finding her. I tried already, ended up in Gotham buck arsed naked being given directions by a clown."

"No, hes probably not April. Bastards an escape artist but it will take him time and during that we need to find Angel."
"Yeah, she can fly, throw a howitzer and is damn near bulletproof but shes still my kid and shes spent most of her life in Chicago... plus, who knows what the hell that little maniac has done to her mind. Shes been twisting, becoming mean, selfish, cruel, maybe its just a teenage girl thing but yeah... seriously, help, I need it."
Donatello Donatello purses his lips and pauses the game before glancing at Savage. "Okay. Got a picture? I can start doing camera scans and stuff back at the lair. See what I can come up with," He says helpfully. Leonardo pauses and then nods agreement to the purple-masked brother.

"I'm going to go and tell him what happened tonight. Come on Raph, you're not helping," Leonardo says as he stands. Then he gives a karate style bow to Dragon and turns to head for the still-open windows. "Bye April, thanks for the pizza. Donnie, maybe you should stay tonight if that's okay?"

Donatello glanced at Leonardo with wide eyes. "What, me, why?" He asked in obvious surprise.

"Because, you just said you can do stuff. And your gear is in the van, which we'll leave parked in the alley," Leo says before he slips out the window.

Raphael gets up with an annoyed sigh and stalks after Leonardo. "Yeah, yeah, all right," He grumbles. But he does wave at April before glancing at Dragon. One more eye up and down before he is out the window and gone too.
April O'Neil April nods along with everything that Dragon says and when he finishes she adds in. "She's a sweet girl, who's just having trouble dealing with her powers... I think she should've gone to a school that specializes in that sort of thing like the one Westchester... but, yeah, thats..." April draws in a breath. "Not helpful, right now."

When Leo and Raph prep to leave, April stands up to see them out. "Donnie can stay here if he wants too. But, I know this place is 'super lamesville' so I don't fault him if he doesn't." She shoots Donnie a little grin.

She looks to Savage then. "He's a master tech, he can build technology you wouldn't believe. You totally have to see their van someday, its... amazing." She goes 'huge eyes' for a second there while describing the Turtle Van.
Savage Dragon "Appreciate it fellas." Ralph gets a returned look, less aggresive in feel. Dragon really just doesn't know what to make of them yet, "I am guessing thats the angry one?" He asks quietly of April. Low enough it shouldn't be heard by any of them.

"I don't mind the company, weird as this all is." Second beer down. A shame he has to drink so much ot feel a damn thing.

"I'll check it out some time, techs never been a big deal for me unless I can make a big ass gun out of it. Joking, kinda... "
Donatello "Aw, jeez," Donnie says as he picks the controller back up. Mikey glances around and then hops up to go raid the last of the pizza at that point. "There's people way better," He argues as he pretends to focus on the game.

"And I'm the bottomless stomach!" Mikey says cheerfully as he hops to his feet and heads to the kitchen to raid the last bit of pizza. "Oh hey, April! I learned a new thing!" The crush can, half full, is suddenly drained in a long guzzle. Then he holds up one fingers, as if waiting for something, and stands posed. Donnatello begins to snicker.

Then in burping cacophony comes the A.B.Cs.

And that is how the turtles got to meet Savage Dragon. And hopefully help him find his runaway kid, all while burping ABCs and eating Pizza. Cause that's how Turtles roll.
