Kar'ras     The sound of automatic gun fire is heard as people are trying to rob a bank in southside new troy. Nicknamed Suicide slum it attracts the worst of the lot and now people are trying to rob the bank and get an easy pay out from the bank. So far the hostages have been left unharmed.
Spanner Alyssa Reid was just returning home after her morning shift was over, the woman carrying a small bag of groceries with herself, and whistling softly. The day is being great with her, and she couldn't be happier! That is.. until the sounds of gunfire catches her ear, and she immediately pauses, a frown marring her features. Gunfire is always a sign of trouble. Gunfire usually means innocents get hurt. She quickly looks around, and slips into a backalley to get out of sight.

Once there, she reaches an arm up and it stretches all the way to the top of the building, where she grabs the edge and reels herself up. Once up on the roof, she starts removing her clothes, revealing her blue uniform under it. All she needed to change was to put on her yellow boots and gloves, and her blue domino mask. After hiding her civilian clothes together with her groceries, she rushes toward teh general direction the gunfire came from, always sticking to the rooftops.
Kar'ras     Kar'ras was flying nearby when the sound of gunfire gained his attention. He flew over past the woman on the roof and floats infront of the bank as it is being robbed. The robbers are now gathering the money and beginning to head out. They wait for the getaway vehicle to show up, which it does, four door coupe.
Spanner Alyssa Reid, or Spanner when she is in costume, quickly arrives near the robbery area, just in time to see those bandits entering a car with the money they stole. She frowns and decides to jump down and stop them, but before she can do that, she notices the flying orange-skinned figure hovering above the streets, and she frowns. A flier. Is he a friend, or a foe? He's just hovering there, doing nothing to stop them, so.. a foe? Perhaps the 'muscle' hired to protect the robbers? She frowns again. This is not good. She decides to wait a bit to find out what the orange guy's next action is going to be...
Kar'ras     Kar'ras watches the people and looks around. "Are they supposed to be doing that?" He asks looking more confused as he watches the car begin to drive off. He flies ahead of the car and lifts it off the ground and looks to the people nearby to see what should be done.
Spanner Spanner watches the car drive off and the guy just flies after them. Great. Looks like she'll have to fight him, after all. She stands up from her hiding apot as the orange guy flies after the goons, but is surprised when he just lifts the car up. She frowns. What is that guy doing, she wonders. Better check up. She jumps from the top of the building, landing on the sidewalk near where Kar'ras is holding the car aloof, "May I ask what are you doing with that car full of stolen money and robbers?" she asks, her attention quickly shifting, back and forth, from Kar'ras and the goons inside the car, who clearly do not like the idea of being held hostage like that.

One of said robbers decides to take action, finally, and he pulls a gun and aims it at Kar'ras, as much as he can from that position, and fires at him, hoping he'll drop the car down once he gets a bullet wound.
Kar'ras     "Is this some sort of earth custom?" Kar'ras asks as he watches the woman as she shows up. He then nods. "I dont know if I am supposed to stop them, or help them or what?" He asks as he watches the woman. The bulletwound to his arm however bounces off his skin and gets a grump from the orange man. "Clearly not help them." He growls as he looks back up to the car.
Spanner Spanner stops and blinks, stunned for a moment. Is that guy for real? 'Earth customs'? The heroine has no knowledge of the Tamaranians, but that doesn't matter right now. One of the guys shot Kar'ras, and the bullet bounced off harmlessly and luckily the ricochet didn't hit anyone else, and so Spanner quickly reaches forward, her arm elongating to reach the gunslinger's arm and quickly twist it, to force him to let go of the gun, "Hell no to helping them!" she calls out to the orange guy with a frown, "They've just stolen other people's savings, their money!"
Kar'ras     "I see." Kar'ras says as he looks to the people and sets the car down before ripping the engine out of the car with his other hand. He then looks to the woman and gets the doors off and pulls them back out. "No stealing! Bad humans!" He says as he watches the others and then turns to look to the woman to see if she would approve or disapprove.
Spanner The robbers barely have any reaction. They're shocked by the fact their escape car got lifted so easily, and that bullet doing nothing to even harm the orange guy floating before them! When one of the doors is ripped off, and the goons unceremoniously shaken out of the car, they all fall like sacs of potatoes, grunting in pain from the impact. They look at Kar'ras with fear, and they start scampering away, but before they can escape, Spanner stretches her arms out to wrap around all robbers, and pull them together like a lasso! "A little bit more property damage than I hope for, but... thanks for the help." she says, chuckling, "Um..." she looks around, "Is there anything we could use to tie them? Mind checking in the car to see if they got rope?"
Kar'ras     Kar'ras nods as he looks into the car and begins to tear it apart, or atleast trying to move everything. It wasnt until the trunk was giving trouble that the man decided to rip it off and pulls out a bundle of rope. "Here you go, miss stretch." He says as he watches her. "I didnt know humans could do that."
Spanner Spanner winces every time a piece of the car was twisted or broken or outright ripped off by the guy who CLEARLY doesn't know his own strength. The robbers, themselves, just blanch at the sight of the guy just tearing at their car. Well, 'their' being not quite the exact term, here, since the car was probably stolen. "I hope that wasn't a stolen car..." she mumbles under her breath. By the time Kar'ras finds the rope, what was once a car now just looks like the skeleton remains of one. "Ah... thanks." she says, and she reaches an arm to gingerly take the rope, and then proceeds to bind the robber's arms behind their backs, and then all them together. "Spanner." she says toward the alien, "The name's Spanner. And, ah..." she glances ar the car again and sighs, "Look, thank you for the help and all, but you can't just go around destorying everything like that. Yeah, the bad guy were using that car to escape, but it's very likely that is... WAS a car that was stolen from an innocent that would not want their car used on a robbery."
Kar'ras     "I am Kar'ras of Tamaran." Kar'ras says as he nods. He then looks to the car. "Why steal a car and rob a bank?" He asks curiously as he shakes his head. "Still I will be more careful next time, thank you for telling me this, Noble Spanner." He says as he watches the woman. "Do we wait for the proper authorities?" He asks curiously.
Spanner Spanner arches one eyebrow at Kar'ras as he shows a complete lack of understanding of greed. "Have you ever heard of 'greed'?" she chuckles at that. "Those guys wanted money. More money than they could get through legal means, so they resort to crime." she shakes her head at that, and crosses her arms, "As for the car, well, every car has its own registration..." sne points at the car's license plate, "And also are registered to its owner. By using a stolen car, that means the car cannot be traced to them." she explains.

"And yes, we should wait for the authorities. Well, at least one of us should." she shrugs at that, glancing at the bound robbers who are currently struggling with their bindings, shouting the occasional insult toward the two heroes. Spanner just doesn't pay attention to that. "Oh, and to answer your earlier question, no, not all humans can do what I do. Actually, I'd be surprised if more than five people in the whole world could do what I do." she chuckles.
Kar'ras     "I meant why steal a car and then rob a bank, wouldnt the objective is to not tip off the police..." Kar'ras asks as he nods as she explains it. "I will leave you to deal with them. I need to figure out where I can purchase mustard soda." Kar'ras says as he watches the woman. "Unless you wish to leave? I can remain." He says calmly.
Spanner Spanner just shrugs her shoulders, "Not tipping the police is always preferrable, but business such as the bank they robbed have alarms that tip off the police." she explains as she uncrosses her arms and legs one dangle, while the other rests a hand on her hip, "Alarms nowadays are commonplace, even silent alarms. So it's inevitable that the police will come. Unless they plan on taking hostages or plan a shootout, time is off the essence for such thieves as the idea would be to leave before the police arrives." then she arches one eyebrow, "I can stay, no problem. But, as far as 'mustard soda'... I never heard of anything like that."
Kar'ras     "It is complicated but appearantly thereis this soda which tastes like mustard which to me and my people tastest delicious." Kar'ras tries to explain. "Anyway Thank you for helping me. I will definatly keep what you said in mind." Kar'ras says before flying off.
Spanner Spanner makes a bit of a face when she realizes the guy intends to drink mustard like it was some kind of slushie, and she shudders a bit, "Ah, ok, so... yeah, thanks for the assist." she chuckles, smiling a bit, "Good luck around, and.. always try to keep property damage to a minimum. IT's always good policy." she says, giving the guy a thumbs-up, "I'll deal with the cops."
