Owner Pose
Brooke Harris In the long shadow of Gotham Mercy Hospital, an ambulance winds its way outward to a 911 call. Wee-oo, wee-oo... It zooms through lesser travelled alleyways on its way to helping some poor elderly soul in need of help.

POW! POW! ...The hidden spike strip popping up to blow out the tires is a bit unexpected. As is the sudden stirring in the shadows towards the scene. On a nearby rooftop, a black clad sniper slips into position. Glints of steel glimmer in the light here and there.

In a doorway, an elderly chinese man slumps against a wall, holding his chest. Yin flips his phone to speaker. The color of a 911 call glows on the screen. Tinnily, the operator can be heard, "Is something happening? Hello?"

Yin looks out at the darkness, centering herself and letting out a deep breath, relaxing and sinking slowly into position and frowning at the incapacitated ambulance. "Hell." Silence for a moment. "I should have expected this." As the first blade slips into the hand of a black clad assassin, she relaxes more and half smiles. "All this for the two of us?"
Dan Richter The slightest thump of boots touching roof is all the marksman hears before his face suddenly meets said rooftop, twisting his aim far afield into the night. A scant few blinks and he hangs swayingly by a chain tied crushingly around one leg from the roof, an agonized scream trapped by the gurgles of a broken jaw, hanging limply from one side, as his assailant's shadow passes him like a bullet in the direction of the ambulance. The Wolf's hunt is on.
Brooke Harris Black clad shadowy figures start swarming toward the ambulance and the doorway. At least a dozen so far. That you can see. From their choice of weapon - machetes? Seriously? They are probably dime store ninja initiates. But those can still nickle and dime a good fighter who only has two arms and two legs. And anybody who uses dime store ninja is almost certainly not limiting themselves to a handful.

Yin steps at an angle as the first ninja comes at her, twisting softly. The ninja flies one direction, the machete another. Two ninja collide and fall into a puddle in the rain - one thrown, one in that one's path. She continues twisting and lightly flicks her toe out, ballerina style. A third ninja crashes into the sidewalk, clutching himself. She frowns a bit. "I remember ninjas being tougher than this.." then looks up at the movement in the shadows.
Dan Richter A pair of Dime Store Ninjas(tm) suddenly burst from the shadows! Backwards! With a heavily armored commando looking man styled up like a wolf holding their throats in a death grip about halfway down, before pushing them forward and twisting himself in a front flip to land boots first on their respective chests, crushing the air, consciousness, and certainly bone density out of them. This dramatic entrance loses none of the Wolf's momentum as a handcannon of a gun is produced and one poor grunt catches three rounds right to the center mass, though a particularly keen eyed individual may notice a lack of blood from the impacts and apparent corpse as the goon collapses.
Brooke Harris Yin oohs. "Nice. I'd wince at the violence but at this point.." She sidesteps and gives a charging ninja what looks like a gentle, soft shove. Though there is some speed involved. Gentle, graceful, and launches the ninja eight feet through the air into a parked car, where he collapses choking for breath and vomiting on the ground. "...I'm not picky." Her next step moves her back toward the doorway, where she lightly slaps the hand of an oncoming ninja solidly enough to spin him around and send the knife flying. "I'm Yin. Do you have an exit?"

Four ninja start trying to smash their way into the ambulance on the driver's side, while more start trying to force the back door open!
Dan Richter Yin is ignored as more shots ring out and one of the rabid neenjos attempts to charge the armored brute. And is nearly killed for his trouble whilst barely being acknowledged, a jumping knee connecting with his stomach whilst the other leg wraps around his head, pulling the Wolf around him and dragging the thug down to the ground, where darkness takes him as he is choked out almost immediately. A flicking toss and a cloud of smoke explodes around the ambulance, the Wolf darting in with only enough hesitation to return his gun to it's holster and tap at the side of his helmet.
Brooke Harris Dime store ninja start trying to swarm the Wolf, trying to overwhelm him by sheer numbers, trying to drag him down. First one, then two more, then even more.. No technique, no martial arts mastery, just a sea of attackers.

Yin gahs and just sits there at the doorway, trying to deal with attackers. "We need.. to get.. out.. of.. here.." She's in the zone, eyes half closed and floating through movements softly, launching ninjas and twisting their joints into unworkable positions, leaving piles of disabled ninja screaming and trying to deal with dislocated joints.
Dan Richter The smoke covers the action, but not the choking screams, or the occasional body being launched out of it. After about ten seconds, the smoke clears, a small legion of alleged ninjas lying whimpering and or twitching on the ground, even as more continue flooding into the hurricane that is the Wolf. Bones are loudly shattered, joints shredded, and never for a moment does the Wolf slow down, as if being swarmed by a legion was his happy place. An over the shoulder elbow smashes in a face, before it's owner is used like club to batter his fellows away.
Brooke Harris Yin takes a slow breath. "Can I get a minute here to get him to the ambulance? Maybe.." twist, elbow, push, flying ninja.. "..they can limp out of here if.." Another ninja gets thrown into the pile, knocking down the one that was trying to struggle to his feet, "..we cover them.."
Dan Richter Once again, Yin is ignored, as there is glorious violencing to do! Another swarm attempt is casually beaten back, this time with a fluidly produced and extended staff, the cold metal expertly crushing through guards and spraying soft tissue blood as efficiently as it's wielder. It would seem however that the Wolf may actually have been paying attention, as an effort does seem to be getting made to pull the goons away from Yin, with the decreasing number of able neenjos requiring the intervention of some of the ones who were focused on her.
Brooke Harris Yin half-kneels and pulls the elderly man up, then starts rushing his frail form toward the ambulance. Rough treatment, but better bruised than buried under ninja. A foot snaps out to connect with a kneecap. "DOOR!" The back door opens for a moment and she shoves the elder at them, then spins to face down the other half of the sea of dime store ninja wannabe.

Yin frowns. "Okay, tall dark and armored. Let's do this. Sniper on the corner." She flicks her chin up at the two ninja with cheap rifles moving into place on rooftops, then moves to grab a ninja and spin him to use as a shield.
Dan Richter As the last of the swarm finaly drops in a sobbing mess of broken bodies and slowly pooling blood, the slightly panting Wolf turns his head just as Yin calls out the snipers. As quick as ever, another gun is produced and aimed at the roof, a squeeze of the trigger and harpoon esque sound lets out, just before the Wolf is suddenly wrenched up and towards the roof at near terminal velocity. He comes up over the lip of the roof just as one of the snipers turns to face down at them, grabbing the goon by the throat and slamming him into the roof, crushing multiple bones and likely cracking his skull. The adrenaline of the situation pushes the Wolf to keep going without a second's rest, the other gun produced and fired at the other sniper. But due either to whiplash, adrenaline overload, or just simple bad aim, the shots do little more than draw attention.
Brooke Harris Yin centers herself and relaxes. "Let's go! Back up, back up!" She jerks the ninja off balance a bit more and steps to the side, as the ambulance grinds backwards on the rims, making awful noises from the spike strip. As a firefight erupts on the rooftop - back and forth between the roofs at least, so not aimed at her or the ambulance - she throws the ninja to the side and grabs the ambulance door. "Let's go! Let's go!" She drips some blood on the ground from some wounds - that look much less serious than they would be expected to be at least - she picked up somewhere in the chaos.

The other ninja starts firing on you with a .233 semi-automatic rifle with jacketed rounds. Iron sight, not a serious sniper, and a green recruit. Rattled. But lots of bullets can put a damper on anybody's day no matter how inexpertly fired.
Dan Richter A few bullets go wide and the Wolf takes off once again, a dive roll from the roof, a grapple gun once more licks the air, and the blood smattered manbeast flies once again, going up high into the air over sniper. As he drops, a few more panicked shots ring out, three missing wildly, while the other two are deflected by the Wolf's armor. He lands hard atop the gunner, slamming him down into the rooftop and grasping him by the throat, the rifle swatted angrily from his hand as he's raised to the Wolf's arm's full extension and held there, being forced to gaze into the cold unblinking LEDs the helmet has for eyes in silent backdropping to the moon over the city, the only other sight the goon has to look from the uncaring wolf like mask being the street, littered with the broken bodies of dozens of his fellows, who mere moments ago were all as healthy and strong as he himself was. Now beaten and broken by the beast now at his own throat...
Brooke Harris Yin just sort of watches this bit of mayhem happening and blinks a little, trying to help the ambulance scrape out, grinding on the rims slowly and getting turned around. She's sure she's going to be having nightmares about THIS for awhile.

The sniper whimpers, flailing helplessly in the Wolf's grip, grabbing at the arm, eyes a bit glazed from the drugs fed to him. He coughs helplessly, dangling from your grip and unable to do anything. Nothing else seems to move much in the shadows...
Dan Richter A few seconds pass as the sniper is choked and helplessly struggle for freedom before it is suddenly granted to him. In the form of being tossed up and coming down to a hard uppercut right under the jaw. If he was still conscious from that, the impact with the roof ended that travesty right quick. The Wolf disappears from street level view for a moment, and then the man is tossed from the roof! A chain around his legs stops him from dropping to his death, instead letting him off with smacking against the wall a few feet down. The Wolf however, doesn't reappear, leaving Yin with a battered ambulance, an old chinese man in need of medical attention, and many MANY neenjos in need of traction.
