Jason Todd Bludhaven Museum - earlier in the night there was a fundraiser for the Tri-State animal shelters in the form of an exhibit and ball that was focused not on the Egyptian worship of cats, but of other societies as well. There were artifacts of Li Shou, the Chinese Guardian of cats, Ai-Apaec of Peru, Ovinnik of Poland, and even Hecate of Greece.

However the centerpiece of the evening was a chariot that was discovered just a few years ago that is believed to have once been used by Freyja, that was pulled by two giant cats. The chariot itself is of a one person design, a design of solid oak with plating in gold and silver and jewels that depicted the Goddess and her cats racing across the lands. It had been a major draw of the ball, and was being used to hold the collections for the animal shelters in an enclosed space in the back.

Now it's past midnight, the party remnants have all been cleaned up. At the back loading dock of the museum, a couple of custodians are taking a smoke break. "When are they coming to pick up that chariot?"

"Heard they were going to do it later tonight." the other says with a puff on his smoke. "That's a lot of cash for the kitties."

The other smirks. "Or to take down to the Friky Feline."

A chuckle is shared at that.
Selina Kyle Priceless artifacts would've been an easy enough lure to draw out a particular cat burglar, but the fact that there's felines involved makes it all the more fitting for said person to be here. Using the cover of night, a shadowed figure has taken a detour to the museum once the festivities have ended, a subtle slip of something slinking across the rooftops just above the loading docks.

Breaking into a museum is hard work, so why not make it substantially easier with a set of keys or a keycard? A familiar, pointed cowl and a pair of crimson goggles peers over the edge to peer down at said custodians, a painted smile following before she makes her move.

There isn't some witty opening line beforehand or some dramatic reveal. Catwoman makes her entry nice and simple by dropping hard atop one of the men with booted feet, hoping to knock him down before grinning up at the other. "Shall we do this the easy way or hard way tonight, boys? I don't have time to waste." A brandish of a wickedly clawed glove hopes to sway their decision.
Jason Todd The first custodian goes down like a ton of bricks underneath Catwoman's feet and shapely legs. Hitting the ground with a thud, there's a solid thuck that comes with the sound of the concussion and the first one is down and unconscious. The second custodian has the cigarette fall from his lips as he looks down at crouching kitty, swiping fury and he raises his mop to try to bring down onto her - which will most likely be a futile effort to say the least.

In the meantime, across the block, watching the other exit ramp, is a figure in leather and metal. The hood of Red Good is opened at the moment, so that he can chow down on a Big Belly Burger, enjoying the burger while it's still lukewarm. Reaching down to slurp at his soda to wash down the greasy sandwich as he hears the clatter from the other side of the building. "Crap." comes Jason's commentary as he takes one more bite from his burger to try to get it down before heading off with a hiss of his hood sealing.
Selina Kyle Catwoman's grin only grows sharper when the other man raises his mop to strike. Hard way it is, then. Ducking off to the side in a small roll to avoid the wooden handle, she fluidly recovers in a crouch before springing for the custodian. Catwoman forgoes her claws despite the threat, instead coming in low with a tight fist to his gut before following up with a twist of leatherclad form, using the momentum to swing a solid boot hard into the side of his face. She's eager to make this a quick little in and out sort of deal, so hopefully this'll be her only competition tonight. ...Hopefully.
Jason Todd The second custodian never really had a chance against the agility and speed of Catwoman as he's taken down as quickly as the first. There's a whoompf of air as she steals his breath away - quite literally - and goes down like a sack of potatoes as he collapses on the ground, leaving the access open to her.

A couple of minutes after Selina is sauntering in, there's a second figure that's landing. "Oh, ain't this peachy." he comments dryly to himself. One of the custodians is starting to come around as Jason kneels down. "Who?" comes the growled question.

"Don't know.. landed on..."

And a hard punch to the jaw puts the custodian back down as he grumbles. Don't need anyone pulling the alarms, after all. "Useless." Jason muttered to himself as he started to make himself way behind where Selina entered.

The floor plan is laid out in the typical style, a large open atrium where the chariot and it's lockbox are set behind the velvet ropes and pre-requisite 'Do Not Touch' signs, while other artifacts are under glass and probably alarmed. Speaking of - where are the guards/
Selina Kyle The moment the second custodian was out Catwoman made quick work of pilfering their keycards and grabbing the backpack she'd left where she previously lept from. A lack of guards is indeed strange, the thief keeping an eye and ear out for them while making her way to the central atrium where the exhibits still remained.

By the time Jason has made his way to her, Selina is working on the lockbox, using tools brought to pick the lock. One will notice the chariot itself devoid of many of its gems already, pried from the metal and stowed in her bag. Those items under glass will be her second priority, likely needing a little more time to disarm.
Jason Todd "Here, Kitty Kitty." Unlike the Bat, Red Hood isn't the type to just drop in through a skylight or something equally dramatic. Instead, as she's working on the lock box, he's standing next to the master switch that would turn on all the lights in the building. "Let me guess, you're building a new scratching post because he can't just quite reach that itch, right?"

He's not got the mouth of one of the former Robins, that's for sure - but that red Bat symbol on the chest marks him as a member of the family - at least loosely. "You like to play in the dark, huh? Never knew what the Old Man saw in you.. but in this light.." Red Hood tilts his head, the white optics brightening for a moment, "I can definetly get some ideas. Me-Ow."
Selina Kyle Being discovered by security is one thing, they're easy enough to dispatch. It's when one of the city's do-gooders catch you that is becomes ore of an issue. And while he may not be Batman, Selina can honestly say she would've prefered the Bat at this moment instead of the person in his place.

Her body tenses when he makes himself known, skin prickling beneath the leather catsuit for a moment before she turns to set goggled view on the man standing there, catching the distinct helmet and red symbol. Great. Despite her displeasure with Red Hood getting the drop on her, Selina relinquishes the lockbox and stands, turning to flash a coy smirk at him. "Well now, aren't you a flatterer." A playful touch to a cheek while waving other hand at him. "Just what has the great Red Hood coming after little ol' me, mm? Surely you've got bigger things to worry about." While she isn't keen on fighting this particular memeber of the Bat family, she's already uncoiling the bullwhip around her waist to prepare.
Jason Todd "Oh, you know. The Bat isn't around tonight, and he always had a thing for his 'special' time with you." Red Hood is enjoying the moment really as he watches her uncoil the whip. "Oooh, are we skipping the foreplay?" comes the question. He could easily pull out a gun, but he's not going to do that. Instead, he draws a knife from his side and lets it flash in the moonlight that comes in through the skylight above.

"So I take it that you're not a kitty that wants to play nice, let me pet her for a bit and then put her back in her cage, huh? That's okay, I always had a thing for the feral ones."
Selina Kyle "Something tells me you're more of a quick and dirty kind of guy." Catwoman remarks to his comment of foreplay, tightening her whip between both hands with a soft creak of the leather. The knife gets a careful eyeing, thankful it isn't one of his firearms, but that means she'll have to get up close and personal with him. Hn.. So be it.

"Really, dear, are you going to make cat jokes all night? I'd much rather get to the good stuff!" With a growl in her tone she makes her move, swinging arm wide to unfurl her whip and strike out at him with a resounding crack as the tip seeks to slice.
Jason Todd "And here I thought the kitty puns were your schtick." Jason responds as he watches the whip unfurl and this first time he jumps away as it snaps into mid-air. He's not the acrobat that the other Robins are, but he's moving backwards quickly as he twists the knife in his hand. "You know.. we could just set aside the weapons and have a little different fun." There could be a smirk beneath the helmet.

And then he's on the move, as she's bringing the whip back, he's running along with it's recoil to try to close the distance between himself and Selina in order to take a swing at her mid-section to knock out the breath out of her and hopefully disarm that whip in the process.
Selina Kyle While Selina would have made a sly comment back at that, she's a little too busy trying to make sure she makes it out of this place intact. A quick snap of her arm draws the whip back after it misses, but Jason comes with it brandishing a fist. Already she's wheeling back, but he's fast and his punch connects, though a bend of her torso has it striking more her side.

It hurts, making her bite the air to cut a bark of pain before sucking a breath through her teeth. He may succeed in getting the whip out of her hand, but she drops it in favor of her gloved hands. Pushing through the ache radiating up her side, Selina snarls in effort as she lashes out to rake razor claws of a hand down neck and chest while he's so close. Whether or not she succeeds, she still follows up with a fist aimed at his helmet to try and give her some breathing room.
Jason Todd As Selina's doubled over, Jason was preparing to strike a double-handed blow on the back of her neck. Instead, her sudden recovery and swipe upward rakes across the armor of his chest and against his helmet, drawing paint across the woman's claws as he backpedals several steps to take up a defensive posture. "You know, we're going about this all wrong."

There's a snort. "Could always just let you go with the jewels and you leave me the lockbox. You're gonna get blamed for it regardless, after all." he comments dryly. But he's got one hand at his side, watchig her warily incase she goes on the move for that whip again.
Selina Kyle The extra space is welcome, Selina backing off a step or two herself once Jason backs off. Her painted lips grimace against the sting in her side, just imagining the bruise it's going to form. She could keep it up despite that, but she holds her ground for the moment, hands up in loose, open fists to keep claws free.

The woman's brows knit faintly at his suggestion, mouth pressing thin in thought while looking between the lockbox and his cautious hand at a hip. Hmm.. "..An interesting proposition, but what's to stop you from putting a slug in me when I turn my back to leave, mm? You're not exactly the non-lethal type like the rest."
Jason Todd A chuckle rises from within the helmet. "Makes me more fun, don't you think? I don't have a quarter to flip, so that's out." Jason responds as he watches the woman, taking in her curves. It's easy to see why Bruce always did get weak-willed around her. "Anyway? Really going to think I'm going to shoot you in the back and have the Bat come down on me in whatever passes as grief for the old man? Don't count on it." Though he'd probably grieve Selina far more than Bruce did Jason.
Selina Kyle It's no surprise Selina is still a bit wary even with the promise of sorts. But he does have a point, it wouldn't do Jason much good in the way of Batman's favor if he were to off her, so she takes the opportunity while she has the chance. Breaking from her stance, she stands properly and flashes a toothy grin across the way with hands up to show she means no harm anymore. "Well then, my lovely friend, you've got yourself a deal. And don't worry, I won't go telling anyone about our little arrangement." Lush, near-black lips purse subtly against the finger pressing to them in a silent 'shh' gesture, likely winking behind those goggles.

Keeping a hand up to show she means well, Selina moves to bend down and grab her bullwhip, grunting softly at the flare of pain in her side when righting herself and wrapping it promptly around her waist. "So I see you're operating around this area, mm?" She remarks while walking back to her loot bag, a light sway to her hips in her casual stride. "Maybe I'll have to drop by more often. Whether I'll behave, though.. No promises." A sharp smirk is sent over her shoulder to him.
Jason Todd And true to his word, Jaosn won't shoot Selina. The sway is watched for a moment, and then the Hood gives a chortle. "This is all Gotham. Isn't that where we're supposed to be? As for you not behaving?" Taking out his grapple gun, he fires it towards the skylight to give himself a headstart as he pulls himself to the cieling.

"It's exactly what I'm hoping for." His free takes out one of his pistols - but it's not Selina he aims for. Instead, his aim is true as it pierces one of the glass cases of the exhibit. With that, all hell breaks loose as the alarms start to go off and the museum begins to seal itself in a lock down. As the heavy metal doors close around Jason, he swings himself over them to land on the top.

"Your choice. Feel like Indiana Jones, or Shawshank Redemption?" he asks casually, giving her one chance to drop the jewels and use his grapple line to flee. Or stay, and deal with the Gotham PD if she doesn't get out in time.
Selina Kyle So much for getting out with a prize. Perking, Selina looks up at the sound of a grapple gun firing, only to see him sailing up and drawing his firearm. For a second her blood runs cold, thinking it's meant for her, but of course Jason has to be an ass and shoot a case, making the facility start to lock down. Now she has a choice. Loose the jewels and go free, or still loose the jewels and get set to jail.

".../Ugh!/ You're a real piece of work!" Selina eventually sneers, frustrated and spitting curses under her breath, ultimately abandoning the bag and springing for the line. As swift as her namesake, she shimmies up the grapple line to freedom, looking none too pleased at the person waiting topside when she finally grabs the ledge and hoists herself onto the roof.
Jason Todd "Hey, at least you don't need to worry about bail tonight." Jason smirks underneath that helmet, and puts away his pistol. "Now make like a good kitty and scram." he suggests to her as he starts to head off in his own direction, having ruined Selina's evening fun for the moment.
Selina Kyle Selina huffs softly under her breath once she reaches the top and stands, fixing him with a rather unhappy skew of lips. Looks like she'll have to call it quits today now that it's been more or less wasted. "Tch, right. I'll make sure to remember this for next time." Possibly a threat, though the words don't sound so threatening. At least it was.. eventful. That said, she makes her retreat while she still has the chance, stealing off into the night opposite wherever he's going.
