Talia al Ghul It's not long after Jason's nightmare about becoming the Joker that his phone rings. It's the latest burner-phone in the long cycle of rotations that he received from someone in his past. The number is known to only one other person alive: Talia al Ghul.

Talia has information tendrils extended deeply into many global sources of power, some known from prior connections with her father and others all on her own. In this particular case the source of the information originates in Nepal.

When the phone is answered her voice is clear and her words are brief. "We need to talk. Tonight."
Jason Todd As the phone rings, Jason slaps at it a couple of times as he lays in the bed before grabbing it. Picking it up, he stares at it blearily before answering. "I told you I don't do booty calls.." Oh, who is he kidding? "Tell me where." He's already reaching to grab his pants to pull them on and start to gear up - something in the tone of Talia's voice suggests that this isn't going to be one of their fun talks.
Talia al Ghul Talia al Ghul isn't laughing, which isn't a good sign. For the daughter of a global eco-terrorist, she usually has a pretty good sense of humor. Dry, but good. She names a place that's close by; an old factory that's long out of use. "Use the back door. I'll be waiting." The line clicks with the disconnect.

The back door leads into the empty warehouse, where the woman waits. Sitting at a lone table with two chairs, right in the middle of the floor. Armed and dressed for action, but alone.
Jason Todd The lack of a laugh puts Jason on alert. Which means before he arrives at the warehouse, he's casing the area to make sure that the pair are truly alone. And that's when he finally makes his entrance, as she requested through the back. Snapping the phone in half as he enters along it's clamshell line, he tosses it into a nearby trash barrel.

Then he goes to going Talia at the table, not quite taking a seat as he leans down, resting his palms flat against the surface. "This better be good."
Talia al Ghul Talia al Ghul doesn't get up, one gloved hand on the table and the other in plain sight. She's wearing a snug-fitting black bodysuit, sword hilts over both shoulders and a pistol on her hip. The woman regards him almost curiously. "Tell me, Jason. How have you been sleeping lately?"
Jason Todd "If you came by more often, you'd know." Offered dryly as Jason regards the stunning woman in her leather, he drops into the seat and reaches up to remove his hood, setting it aside as he regards the woman across the table. "I sleep the same way I always do." Which is to say shitty - she knows this already, he's always been plagued with nightmares.
Talia al Ghul Talia al Ghul brings both hands together on the table before her, fingertips-to-fingertips. "Have you had any premonitions relating back to your time in the Himalayas, by chance?" It's an innocent enough question on the surface, and Talia maintains one of the best poker faces in the business. Nope, she's not giving anything away.
Jason Todd If he'd been wearing the Hood, Talia would have never seen the uptick of Jason's brow at the mention of the All-Caste and it's base. "Yeah. Maybe. Why?" His fingers give a slight twitch, that pentup bit of anger and frustration that he fights so hard to put down showing on his surface through the finger movement. He knows she knows something - and she's toying with him.
Talia al Ghul Talia al Ghul leans back a bit in her chair, and her expression shifts as well. Yes, she knows something. And now he's confirmed it. "I have nothing definite, but you need to return there. Immediately. Things have gone amiss. Things that revolve around you, either by accident or by design." She pauses, then adds. "Things that only you can resolve, Jason. There is a jet waiting at the airport for you."
Jason Todd There's a frown at that as Jason considers the woman across from him. "I'm not on your leash anymore, Talia. I don't know what you're planning, but I'm not gonna jump cause you said to - there's work that still needs to be done here." Yes, he agreed to work with her on Gotham. But that doesn't extend outside of it, and now he's just going to be difficult, even if he knows she's right.
Talia al Ghul Talia al Ghul purses her lips at his reply. Expected, of course. "This has nothing to do with me, Jason, and everything to do with you." she replies. "Ducra was able to help you when you needed it. Now *she* is the one who needs help. Your help. Go. Do what must be done." Her fingers lace together slowly, then. "You can kill me when you return." Meaning he can try.
Jason Todd "If I wanted to kill you, you'd already be dead." Jason smirks at that. "And what I want to do to you has nothing to do with killing." With that, he moves to his feet. Fine. Ducra's a sore spot when it comes to him - and a weak one at that. Reaching to pull up his helmet. "But just in case, I'm not going alone."
Talia al Ghul Talia al Ghul doesn't rise, and her expression remains as unreadable as ever. "And if I didn't want you to trust me I wouldn't have chosen to meet this way." she replies. "Bring whoever you want. It's a big plane, after all. Or make your own arrangements, it's all the same to me." She doesn't -say- that she needs him to do this, but they both know that she does.
Jason Todd "Trust is a two way street, Talia." With the helmet back in place, Jason considers the woman for a moment before he turns to head out, knowing what he has to do - doesn't mean he has to like it.
