Owner Pose
Jason Todd If it's anything that Jason knows well, it's patterns. He knows when certain people will be out, and will certain people will be around. He planned this at the right time. Starfire and most of the other heavy hitters would be out for a movie or mustard pizza and other teen bonding activities. It's late at night, the skeleton crew literally - after all - who would //willingly// invade a tower full of teenagers with attitudes?

The tug boat pushed by lazily in the harbor, just outside the range of Titan Tower's cameras - just another tugboat out in the harber trolling to guide another freigher into harbor. On the dark side of the ship, away from the Tower, Jason fits the rebreather into place and hands over the bundle of bills to the ship's captain. "Thanks for the lift, this is my stop."

Hopefully, Aqualad is away on some Alanteian buisness, or this could get messy. Dropping into the water with a quiet splash, Jason dives down and starts to swim towards the Island once he gets to depth.
Damian Wayne      Titans Tower was an interesting building. an island in the middle of a bay, with the tower in the shape of a giant T.

Late night was Robin's domain. Even if he hardly slept, he always stayed up, working on problems to solve, or just enjoying the quiet while he worked idly in the monitor room.

The island has the T-Sub bay, which could be useful, along with a lack of personnel there, or of course there was the overland route.
Jason Todd The T-sub bay would be the most direct entry in, Jason would agree. But Jason would also know that there are cameras in the man-made cove and if an observant person were on duty, he'd be found out.

And that's not something he wants to have done.

Instead, he remembered a past incident and heads for the lone sandy beach that faces the city - there had been a huge to-do when someone suggested installing cameras to watch the beach and several of the female Titans had voiced their disastisfaction with this plan. This is where he chooses to make his entry point. Pulling up onto the beach, Jason sheds the swim gear and slips on the more familiar red hood of his disguise.

'Alright Hood. You're here. Now what?' he finds himself pondering that question before he starts to move towards the access along the side of the building. He's taking a chance, but he's hoping that the emergency vents for the basement chemistry lab were still in place and would allow him access into the lower levels of the Tower.
Damian Wayne      The tower, all in all was a little different than the original tower from Jason's time, but there was a similar vent available.

Robin had been working on Goliath's whistle. He had found it safely, but when he used it, Goliath didn't respond. Seems Red X was correct.

There was a small laser sensor inside the vent, when tripped, alerted Robin as he stood vigil. ">tt<" He grabs his katana and makes for the chem lab. An alert was most likely nothing, given they didn't have a glut on villains for the Titans.
Jason Todd A vent is removed, and slipping into the lab, Red Hood lands on the floor with a small grunt. "Even smells the same. Stale food and old socks." he grunts as he starts to quickly head out of the room, just as he hears the door open on the other side. "Shit."

Hiding won't be an option for long, and his hand drops to his belt, ready to come up with any number of the contingencies he may need for the Titan that's coming in - everything from Kryptonite to a laser pointer for Beast Boy.
Damian Wayne      Robin had exited the elevator to the chem lab. Taking a light out and beginning to search the room. He looked for signs of anyone, including the vent cover for the vent in question.
Jason Todd In a comedic sense, Jason could have slipped out the door right after Damian came in. In fact, that very thought had crossed his mind. But no, he can't do that. It'd just be.. well, rude.

"If I knew you were here, I'd just rung the doorbell." comes the voice from the darkness before he steps out into the light from the shadows. "Playing nice with the others?"
Damian Wayne      Robin took his sword out, holding it at he ready position. "So you just decided to come In through a stealth ingress. That makes total sense." But he probably would go the same route

Robin sheathes the katana. Returning it to its scabbard on his back.
Jason Todd "Hey. You know me. Not the type to reminiscence on the old days. Just need to grab some of my gear I left here before .. that happened. And I'll be on my way." Jason offers. With Robin putting the katana away, his hand leaves the grip on the combat knife he had ready to pull in defense before he gives a frown beneath that non-expressive helmet. "Your mom's sending me on some quest for something from my past."
Damian Wayne      "And I suppose you think you can treat this Tower like the batcave. Come in when you like, take what you want, then leave it in shambles." He has seen the note he left in the Batcave, unimpressed it seems.

"What is she sending you to get?" Trying to sound disinterested it seems.
Jason Todd "Didn't leave it //completely// trashed. And hey, good chocolate milk is hard to find." Jason offers up in his most modest way, which isn't really all that modest at all. "And yeah, I probably would have tied Flash's shoes together or I dunno, run Kori's undies up the flag pole. You know, the usual." he shrugs his shoulders.

"As for what I'm doing? Well, Damian, you don't get to know everything your mom does with who." There's that smirk in his voice. But there's also that shift in his stance. He knows Talia is a sore spot for Damian. And he's stubborn enough not to volunteer the information, just dangle the bait.
Damian Wayne      Damian grits his teeth, looking at that red hood of his. "Fine, it's not like I give a shit what she's doing anyway." Sore spot indeed.

A brow raises, before approaching Jason. "I have a proposition for you." He says, waiting to see what Jason's reaction is.
Jason Todd "Riiiiight." Jason says, but then Damian adds the second line, and Red Hood would visibly arch a brow - but the flare of a lens may betray him. "A proposition? Sorry kid, I'm not buying you and your friends beer for your next beach party." It's offered dryly, but the fact that Jason remains speaks to the interest.
Damian Wayne      "Oh please, these Titans are much different than the ones you had. The most edgy thing they do is their supremely unhealthy eating habits." Damian says, even if it's not seen, his eyes rolling back into his head.

"Which leads me to my next point. These Titans...are largely untested. Some of them seem to just be playing hero. So, I've arranged a set of challenges for them. To weed out the ones who should be here, and toss the ones who don't. Some of the more seasoned ones are getting close to finding out who I am, I need to throw them off the trail. I need to pin my alter ego on you at least temporarily."
Jason Todd "Wait, wait, waaaaait." Jason's amusement enough is to cause him to pause. "So they've put you in charge and your first act is to turn against them to try to figure out who to weed out? That's a hoot!" There's an actual clapping of his hands. "Bravo, kid. Br-a-vo. That takes some serious stones. Especially when they find out."

Taking a seat on the counter, Red taps his fingers on his knees thoughtfully. "So, you need something from me so you can pin it on me while I'm out of town on this thing. You gonna keep running these games while I'm away?"
Damian Wayne      "It allows the ones who stay to exercise new skills in a controlled environment, and allows me to assess their skills and abilities without them holding back because I 'only have gadgets'." He even makes the air quotes there. Damian leans upon a column in the lab, a smirk on his face. "Yes, That is exactly what I'm doing. I'm not leading a fucking daycare here. We are the future of crime fighting."

"That works, maybe a couple of things, I'll plant them as evidence and they'll be none the wiser." The current Robin raises his brow, awaiting Jason's decision.
Jason Todd "No shit, really?" Jason smirks under his helmet at Damian using grown-up words. "If it's anything like the current gen, you should worry more about the games of grab ass, whose fucking who and who the glory hound is." He's rather frank in his assessment before he folds his arms over his chest. "Alright. So what do you need from me? Oh please please tell me I get to kick your ass."
Damian Wayne      Robin takes a look at Red Hood, looking up and down at his loadout. "I need a hair sample, bullet casings and if you can spare it, one of your pistols."

It's a tall order, but what are slightly begrudging brotherly types for? "Yes, you can kick my ass. It will give me an alibi."
Jason Todd Hoping down from the table, Jason grins underneath his helmet. "Oh pinch me, I must be dreaming." he comments, before shaking his head a little. "I hope you know what you're doing and ready if and when this blows up in your face. Even if I'm the willing accomplise, I don't give two flying fucks for the most part."

First, he takes out one of the pistols. "Hold still, I'm gonna wing you. Not enough to cripple, but enough to hurt like a bitch, and you can say you dodged it." Hey, have to make it believable. "You can have the bullet casing and the pistol it came from." Because he has a //lot// of guns. "As for hair?" Reaching up to take off his helmet, Jason sets it aside and reaches up to pull out a hard grip from one of the deeper parts of his head. "Crap!" he hisses and sets the plug on the table. "There. Hair and blood. Anything else?"
Damian Wayne      "If it does, it will all be on me, and I'll know that they aren't the team for me, if they don't take things seriously." Robin hmphs, getting up from the column. He undoes his utility belt and pulls off his cape and tunic. The armored undersuit in full view. "Use your knife to pierce those, rough them up before you shoot me."
Jason Todd "Yeah, and when they tell you that they won't ever trust you, then what?" Jason asks. There's a seriousness in his voice. It's not all fun and games to him after all as he lets out a breath. "Look, Damian. Been where you were. Took this way too seriously. Even pissed off the old man pretty righteously a few times." As he goes about his work and starts to rub the blade through the cape and utility belt, he frowns a little more. "Last thing you're going to want to do is have these kids questioning you on every little thing. Even the more grown up ones.. like Kori."
Damian Wayne      "The ones that I roughed up, I set them to heal, even had EMS pick them up." It was much more of a kindness than Ra's did to him.

Robin prepares for the beatdown. "They are severely inexperienced. Some of them are good at controlling their powers, but severely lacking in all else. If they can't or won't take on more, then I should keep working with Batman and solo work."

Seems Damian doesn't have faith in some of the Titans, and this is a test of their character as well.
Jason Todd "Oh, Damian, you have got a lot to learn. Trust me, they ain't easy lessons. But I get it. It's why I keep my little band small and tight." Jason offers as he sets the cape and utility belt to the side - so some of that old anger did come out, he did a hell of a number to it. Picking back up his helmet, Jason seals it with a hiss, and Red Hood cracks his knuckles before picking up his pistol to advance on Damian. "Trust me, kid, this hurts you far more than it hurts me." And then comes the first strike in what will be several minutes of pain that ends with a shot and Jason frowns beneath his helmet.

He only takes a few moments to head to storage to grab what he needs before heading back to the vent, taking out the cameras in the chemistry lab in the process and grabbing the hard drive recorders. Because he knows the drill well enough. No evidence. As he steps over where Damian is downed, he frowns. "Sorry, little bro." It may have had a touch of sincerity as he hits the alarm to alert the other Titans and slips out to escape the island before they race down.
Damian Wayne      "Thanks, Todd." He says plainly, looking at Red Hood before he puts the helmet on. Damian had enough time to put on the rest of his gear again, now looking quite battle damaged. He spread his own head about, a katana thrown to the side, the gun was hidden for later use. And the hairs were saved in his utility belt.

The beatdown comes with no yelps or pain sounds. Even though his face does show signs of pain, eventually the battered and bruised Damian is shot, his left shoulder bleeding with the wound. His face bruised, and there is more underneath his uniform. Short of losing a tooth, Damian had all the classic signs of a good old school beatdown.
