Owner Pose
Solaire     Solaire was just idly exploring.. seeing the park 'expand' a bit in recent days he's decided to drop in.. almost literally. Finding anywhere lacking a structure as place for him to drop into the park, stretching and sighing slowly while he observes the area now becoming overgrown.. hm..
Poison Ivy Pamela Isley is asleep in the middle of the garden, curled up on some soft grass. She is snoring softly... but suddenly opens her eyes and gasps as the solar energy from Solaire washes over her as she sits up suddenly, staring. "What... the... hell?" she whispers faintly. "Who ARE you?"
Solaire     Solaire murrs, "Manker Yrael, or Solaire." he answers, "Did you grow the park so? In such short time? he asks in reply. "More quickly than the surrounding flora, I'm impressed."
Poison Ivy Pamela Isley just yawns, rising up. "It's... midnight?" she mumbles sleepily. "How are you castnig such wonderful light? Are you offering to become my personal solar lantern?" she asks softly as she leans back against the oak tree that doubled in height in a single day. "State your business."
Shredder     Quietly, a small shadow creeps up to the grove. Oroku Karai is on recon tonight. The Foot has recently decided to take a place of power in Gotham's underworld, and as such, the strange development in the park drew questions. The tight black pants and gray shozoku top have no sound, and her double ninjato are over her back, the red scarf that covers her face flowing freely behind her.
She makes her way up to the growth, quietly examining the fortified plant barrier before deciding how she will infiltrate.
Poison Ivy Pamela Isley sighs softly. "This is strange. I am Poison Ivy. Making plants grow is my thing. I claimed this territory for it was being neglected. Even Batman is okay with it. As much as I do enjoy the extra sunlight... my children need their sleep so can you try to pull it back some?" she finally asks.
Shredder     Karai tilts her head, examining the strange door, and the wall of trees before her. She grips the edge of a branch, hoisting herself up, and one hand after another, she begins to make her way up the branches to the canopy, finding what gaps she is able in order to slide between the small gaps and make her way over the wall. Once she is able to see in, she finds a perch, gazing down at the interior, curiously examining the most unique of homes.
Solaire     Solaire hums. He does diminish his glow somewhat and he nods, "Sorry for the delay, I haven't shone down in a while." he apologises, squatting down to seat and observe. "I produce stellar light and emissions passively, it is part of who I am."
Poison Ivy The interior of the 'fortress wall' is beautiful; flowers are everywhere - on the ground but with meandering paths to walk through. Vine-cvoered trees inside. A greenhouse that's still looking a bit rough but in need of repair. Poison Ivy, staring at a man who is glowing like the sun. But... part of the joys of having trees as your guardians - and being able to talk to trees - is that it's an alarm that cannot be circumvented. Ivy spins in place and gazes at the intruder. "Good thing Mister Sunshine came in or I'd be fast asleep." She points to the floor. "First I have someone fallign from the sky shining like the sun, then some girl who manages to climb through nettle-draped foliage without barely a sound... I'm very tired so could you identify yourself please?"
Shredder     Karai's eyes narrow, looking down, and look somewhat surprised. She doesn't descend, and doesn't answer quickly. "You are exceptionally attentive," she says when she finally speaks, still perched in a scarcely visible location. "How is it that you have detected me?"
Solaire     Solaire remains quiet while Karai and Ivy talk, she asked an introduction and questions were given in return, he doesn't know either party to answer for them, so he observes. For now.
Poison Ivy Pamela Isley smiles faintly. "You came to my garden and don't know who I am?" she asks softly. "I am Poison Ivy. The sentry that you climbed told me someone climbed him. Good job avoiding the nettles by the way." She glances back to Solaire. "Thanks." Then focuses on Karai. "How may I help you?"
Shredder     An idle finger pulls lightly and thoughtfully at a small spike the branch she is perched upon, and she glances to Solaire. "I have come only to observe," she answers. "I mean no interruption. I serve interested parties who wish to know when the balance of power shifts. You and your...company," she says, as if uncertain how to define Solaire, "have piqued my interest."
Solaire     Solaire holds a hand up, "I half fell in myself. Curious enough to drop by, I apologise if I seem a local." he bids to Karai, then looks to Ivy himself. "I'm sorry if I'm intruding, I can leave if desired."
Poison Ivy Pamela Isley shrugs. "I don't know who this guy is. He just dropped in and woke up all my plants and myself. And yes... I've often drawn attention. I'm not a subtle girl." She sighs softly. "What kind of interested parties?" she finally asks.
Shredder     Karai examines the two people below. "I am a subtle girl," she answers, "So I will keep that to myself. You have impressed me, though." She still remains on her branches. "You will know who I represent when the time is fulfilled." Perhaps a somewhat ominous statement, but she says it without guile. "And I most certainly am intruding, so I will bid you farewell."
Solaire     Solaire looks to Ivy, then back to Karai and waves as she goes to leave. "So, that was an interesting individual." he remarks, "Though perhaps not as much as one that lives amid and communes with plantlife. That is more on par with myself." which means a lot, to him atleast
Poison Ivy Pamela Isley raises an eyebrow. "Oh? What elemental force do you serve?" she asks softly as she gazes at you, her interest piqued as she sits down and leans against the tree. "And keep it quick - I should get back to sleep before the sun rises before I get groggy in the morning."
Solaire Solaire shakes his head, "I am part star, I do not serve any elemental force." he mentions, then tilts his head. "I could rise instead of the sun for you, so that it is morning and your grogginess is not present."
Poison Ivy Pamela Isley frowns. "But there is a natural cycle to day and night... and you are disrupting it. I am part plant..." She frowns. "Do you commune with the stars?" she asks, sounding serious. "Perhaps that's an elemental force of its own."
Solaire     Solaire nods, "I can speak with them, reading and sending my own light." he answers, "You may be right and I wasn't aware.. enlightening. Thank you." he bids, "And it seems you've disrupted the natural cycle here by accelerating the plants' growth."
Poison Ivy Pamela Isley smiles faintly. "Yes - but I guide them. They accomodate the new existence with support from the Green." She smiles faintly. "The vines across the gate are open - please show yourself out." She then curls up where you last found her as she prepares to go back to sleep.
Shredder Shredder says, "I think they'd have a death wish, and I'd thank them for making it easier to kill them."
Shredder Shredder says, "Cept Leo, I'd brainwash him again and make him my second in command."
Shredder Shredder would be impressed, and offer Loki a position as a trusted Lt.
Shredder Shredder says, "Kitsune is currently an NPC. She's an ancient japanese witch. The comics give her powers little definition, but she's a large part of why Shredder is so scary."
Shredder Shredder would beat that old Rat. He gets kidnapped every time he wakes up.
Shredder Shredder says, "I can see someone doing that for dramatics. In the comics, Shredder actually is pretty decidedly a better fighter than Splinter."
Shredder Shredder says, "If you include his time in the afterlife, he has about 400 years"
Shredder Shredder says, "If you count only their time on the mortal plane, he probably has about 30-40 years edge"
Shredder Shredder says, "In the comics they were ancient rivals in feudal Japan, and Shredder killed Yoshi and his wife and their four sons. Yoshi is reincarnated as Splinter, and the sons as the turtles."
Shredder Shredder says, "In the old cartoon, they had about the same, since Splinter was Yoshi and was turned into a rat."
Shredder Shredder says, "And I think that Splinter and Shredder were pretty evenly matched in the old cartoons."
Shredder Shredder hates music, it was proven in the Coming out of their Shells tour.
Poison Ivy Pamela Isley smiles. "Such a fleeting life. Just like a veal calf."
Poison Ivy Pamela Isley notes that grass-types are immune to spore and powder moves
Poison Ivy Standing on the end of a tree branch, with a pair of binoculars, is the unmistakable form of Poison Ivy, with her grass-green skin and firey-red hair. She is murmuring softly to herself as she watches the proceedings, shaking her head. "There is no elegance to it, is there?" she murmurs softly. It's just hunger, madness, and wildness. Typical of the Gray. But it's a potent hunger. She has felt the park groan as the fungus took hold. She is watching, considering countermeasures that she could do, as she continues to talk softly to herself.
Poison Ivy Pamela Isley nods. "And you are Superman. But I have no time for fighting heroes. I am contemplating this emissary of the Gray. Considering what to do about it." She shakes her head. "The Gray is a wild force. It has no pattern, no speaker. It is hunger and growth at any cost. The Green is _much_ more civilized..."
Poison Ivy Pamela Isley just gazes at you. "Long ago, the Green and the Gray - the elemental forces of plant and fungus, were at peace. But the Gray was treacherous - always hungry. They made war. Their lack of focus was the key to their defeat, but there was no stopping it forever. I do not know why the Gray has renewed their assault, but as speaker for the Green, I will..." She sighs softly. "I will..." She just shakes her head. "I don't know. I just got out of Arkham where there is little connection to the Green. This is... painful to watch."
Poison Ivy Pamela Isley frowns. "The suspicion in your voice - it hurts. Believe it or not, we have the same agenda. I want these things gone as much as you do - they are eating my friends." She sighs. "I am considering what measures I can take. But those things are insatiable. I need one of their little saprolings. Preferably dead. I can come up with a solution once I can study one."
Poison Ivy Pamela Isley grins ferally. "Before I became what I am, I was one of the leadnig toxicologists around. If it lives, I can create a poison to make sure it doesn't live anymore. I plan on creating the world's most potent fungicide. Ideally, one that also serves to strengthen plantlife. I don't know if I can - considering the alien origins of this stuff, but that is my mission." She smirks.
Poison Ivy Pamela Isley shrugs. "Well. I could try to do this mission myself. But I might have to compromise the containment fencing to obtain one of the saprolings. Who knows what could happen to the people that live nearby..." She ponders, clicking her tongue. "But helping me helps you and this planet so... why not?" she asks, eyebrow raised.
Poison Ivy Pamela Isley nods. "By 'sample' I'd prefer an intact one of those little creatures they spawn to go get more food for the bigger stalks." She smiles faintly. "I can try to do what I can - but until I know how these... things... work, I won't know what countermeasures I can take."
