Owner Pose
Angel     It was a quiet day for a change at the Hotel. Dusk had come and gone, and now Angel was up and restless. The rest of the team of Angel Investigations was away, so Angel was left mining the store. Just in case some poor, helpless soul wandered into the hotel looking for help. After all, with the new fangled devices called cell phones, he could get in touch with help pretty quick. He just had to figure out how to "text" he thinks they called it.

Moving around the room, Angel heads towards one of the pieces of furniture in the far right, shifting it slightly so as to straighten it out. Grumbling to himself about people not putting things back after they were done with it, Angel fixes it, straightens up, and nods. "Better."
Sarah Osborn Sarah has returned from her little trip out to sea. The Tupilak is hopefully no longer harmful, but the curse is not removed. Perhaps she needs some professional help with that...well not exactly HER, but the oil company. Still, she needs to talk tpo someone. She decides to try some of her cousin's friends. Angel Investigations is a place that she can try. She puts her goblin-gear in the saddle bags of her morotcycle and rides it over the the block the office is on, parks it, and heads inside to knock on the door.
Angel     Hearing the knock on the door, Angel moves quickly to answer. Opening the door, ANgel looks over the new arrival, and recognizaes her. "Evening! Come on in. You know you don't have to knock. One, it is a hotel, and two because we are open for business!" Angel holds the door open with his right hand while motioning Sarah inside with his left. "Come in. So, how can I help you? Its Sarah isn't it? You are Oz's cousin, right?" Angel had an amazing memory, and he never forgot a face.
Sarah Osborn Sarah enters and nods, "Yes, Sarah Osborn. I wanted to talk to someone about a question. I was doing some free lance investigation last night and encountered a curse. I managed...with some help, to neutralize the primary aspect...but it may keep causing trouble if it is not removed entirely. I am sure the owner of the ship will be willing to pay to get it removed...if they can keep it hushed up."
Angel     "I thought so. Good to see you again Sarah." Angel tries a half smile. Listening to her explanation of what happened last night, Angel nods a few times, absorbing what she was saying and tossing it around in his brain. "I see. Well, we are here to help. Hmmm." Angel moves a bit left, then a bit right, thinking. "I appreciate you coming to me about this. I can be a pretty good sounding board if it helps you get through this."

Angel nods, and puts his hands on his hips while facing Sarah once more. His face is impassive, while at the same moment, trying to look as helpful as possible. This was the hard part of the job. Looking like he wants to help you. "You want the curse removed. Well, the Captain does. I am sure we could do that. Giles could probably help. Or maybe even Willow or Tara. They are getting pretty good at the witchy thing."
Sarah Osborn Sarah nods, "You are easier to contact than they are sometiles...but the Captain does not want much anymore...the crew was all dead before I got there. The company that owns the ship though...well they probably would want to keep it from happening again."
Angel     "You are probably right. I can do some research with the team, make a few phone calls, and see what I can come up with. We don't want any more deaths on our hands, especially considering the positive exposure this could bring us to that company. Maybe they have more problems, and that is one of the reasons we are here. It is usuallu the "little" people that get hurt, not the people who have money. Help the helpless and all that." Angel nods, remembering Coredellia's catch phrase for their marketing.
Sarah Osborn Sarah says, "I would assume you are good at keeping secrets. I have been considering sharing one with the team, but I was not sure how they would handle it."
Angel     "Of course! Do you know how many of us have secrets?" Angel pauses for dramatic affect, and smiles. "All of us. We all have secrets Sarah. If you feel you can trust me, than tell me what is wrong?" ANgel was good at that. The sympathetic look, the casual smile, the charming voice. It was a pretty good look.
Sarah Osborn Sarah considers how to do this...intermersonal skills are not her forte. Finally she puts her eklbow on the table, "Arm Wrestle me. Don't hold back." She doubts he will do as she says at first...
Angel     Angel crosses his arms across his chest and listens to what Sarah has to say. His frown is subtle, but present. Nodding, Angel says, "Arm wrestle. Really" Angel looks at her, and notes that she was, indeed, serious. "Well, that is not the first time I've had to arm wrestle someone. Sure." Angel moves to put his right elbow on the table, and adds, "You do know I am...pretty strong. Right?" Angel sets.
Sarah Osborn Sarah says, "It is the easiest way to prove a point, go ahead, try me."
Angel     "Very well." Angel clasps Sarah's hands, and attempts to put her down, quick and easy. The resistance he gets surprises him however, and he shows it on his face. It wasn't like he was red lining it, but there was no way that Sarah should be able to match his strength. "Wow. I'm impressed." ANgel opens up his senses now, and attempts to ascertain what exactly Sarah was.
Sarah Osborn Sarah matches the strength Angel is using, she is not at her limit, but she knows he is not either. Sarah is human mostly, but she will smell different. There is something in her blood, something not unlike a brion or viru, a chemical that changes the body to reproduce itself...soething that acts as a catalyst to enhance her body and mind. She is over fifty times as strong as she looks, and heals as much faster. She says, "Last night I fought a monstrous construct, I was bruised hrom head to toe before I was done...not you will not find a mark on me."
Angel     Grunting as he exerts more effort, Angel knows that he probably couldn't take her. Matching her move for move, he realises she was quite possibly stronger than he was. Raising his eyebrows in surprise, Angel stops the contest, and says, "I see. I can tell there is something different about you, but it doesn't seem to be supernatural. Are you one of those mutants or metahumans I keep hearing about? That is some secret." ANgel stands up straight, and smiles. "I think you are probably stronger than me, and I am...well, not human as you know." Angel pauses, and says, "Did something happen to you? To cause this?"
Sarah Osborn "When we were about ten years old, my twin brother and I were in an accident. We seemed to be dying...but we both survived and we healed FAST. We found ourselves stronger and tougher than hearly anyone...and smart too. Our uncle Norman helped train us to use our abilities. Gabe is the strong one, I am the smart one. I figure I am a metahuman...something in that accident or the aftermath triggered my powers."
Angel     "Well, that is definitely an asset." Angel nods, and says, "You can count on me to keep your secret. I won't tell anyone you don't want me too. In the meantime, if you need our help, we can be there for you. Can we call on you to help us as well?" Angel is offering her a place on the team, as an ally at least. Her attributes could come in handy. Perhaps even a full fledged team member in the future!
Sarah Osborn Sarah replies, "Of course, I have always been there to help when I can...though I try to hide who I am by wearing a disguise. It is out o=in the bags on my motorcycle."
Angel     "Excellent! Welcome to the team. Feel free to crash here when you need to. We have lots of room. Oh, and don't be scared of the ghost floating around. He's friendly."
Sarah Osborn Sarah says, "I have fought Zombies and other creatures, but also know that some others do not need to be fought. Shall I bring in my disguise?"
Angel Angel smiles and says, "Up to you! It is all good. We could always use an extra pair of eyes and hands, especially smart people who can figure out curses on ships at sea! That takes a lot of skill and we could use that."
Sarah Osborn Sarah says, "I am good at a lot of things, I have been working of a database of all kinds of paranormal encounters...all I have to go is look a lot of things up and know what they are and what to do." She can teach angel all about technology, ifg he is up to learn.
