Owner Pose
Koriand'r Koriand'r stretches as she floats up from her window to the roof. She has three pizzas with her; one pepperoni, one combo, and... one has a gold star on the box - the infamous Starfire Special. She is wearing a yellow sundress that she tends to wear lately when not 'on duty' as she opens the pizza boxes, wondering who else will come on this beuatiful day. (She might've forgot to announce that she bought pizza.)
Dan Richter At almost the same instant the first pizza box opens, the door to the roof is pushed open and through it strides Amarok, in all his fully armed and armored glory. Which would probly be much moreso if this weren't a lovely day on the roof of a giant T....And if he were taller. As usual with him, he stops to scan the rooftop before fully venturing out, eventually stopping his gaze on the tower's resident princess. A few moments of idle staring, and eventually he wanders over, ".....Just figured I should let you know....Dont touch the portal thing in the main room...." He says in his trademarked(tm) monotone(tm).
Koriand'r Koriand'r blinks. "I think the Silkie puked into it already," she muses. "What is it? I was out of town doing a photo shoot in Atlantic City. Something about a new alien-friendly casino or something." She ponders as she takes a bite of her special pizza.
Dan Richter Amarok lets out the most banal, joyless, cartoonishly dry trio of chuckles the world has likely ever seen. A simple 'heh-heh-heh...', ".......We dont know. I filed a report on a similiar incident last year, but we didn't have the chance to really learn anything on it. All I know is that some....shadow....things, come out, and have at least some level of mass here. They're hard to see, easier with thermals on, but even then, it takes adjustment." He looks at the pizza, ".....Do you really need three of those?"
Koriand'r Koriand'r smiles. "Of course not. I got one for me and two for my friends. I made an announcement..." She trails off as she picks up her phone. "Oops. Forgot to hit send.'
Dan Richter Amarok tilts his head a few times like a slasher movie villain before responding, "....I'll be sure to let them know...." He returns monotonaly. He does a few more head tilts before continuing, ".....I spoke with Kar'ras a week or two ago.....I have to ask....Do you think it's a good idea to let him have free reign of the tower?"
Koriand'r Koriand'r nods. "I do. I trust him. Why? Do you have any doubts?" She blinks. One might think that she could be blinded by trust due to him being kin. A very rare sight these days in the cosmos.
Dan Richter Amarok begins pacing about the roof, hands clasped behind his back, "By his own admission, it's only a matter of time before slavers come to recapture him. That will put the entire tower, possibly much of the world, at risk....Are you really willing to do that for someone not even fully affiliated with us?"
Koriand'r Koriand'r nods. "I am. For a very good reason - I have a price on my head too. When I came here, lost and alone, trying to find a place to fit in in this backwater planet, the Titans took me in. Gave me sanctuary. Knowing that if Komand'r found me, she'd do everyting to get to me. I see this as nothing different."
Dan Richter Amarok continues his pacing, never fully looking on Kori as he goes, "There /is/ a difference. You /ARE/ a Titan. Everywhere you go, everything you do, you are always tied back to here as a member of The Titans.....But him? He's just a vagrant, comes and goes as he pleases, is tied to here only in that it's a warm and dry place to sleep and get free food...."
Koriand'r Koriand'r nods. "That is true." She ponders. "So - if he became a Titan, any concerns would be alleviated? We take care of our own. You just do not like the fact that he has not committed to us?"
Dan Richter Amarok nods, "Very astute....He's been here for months. Might was well make it official." He turns and looks at Kori directly, "....Besides....Being a house guest of The Titans is far less protective in name than being /A/ Titan...."
Koriand'r Koriand'r ponders as she pokes a pizza box, offering you some. (Not the Starfire Special.) "Would you have any objections to this course of action?"
Dan Richter Amarok waves the pizza away and points at his mouthless mask, "If I did, why would I have led the questioning to suggest it?"
