Owner Pose
Carrie Kelley The sun was just beginning to crest over the horizon. The city that never sleeps was in that momentary lull before the main population woke up, and the night shift went to sleep. It was a rare moment of near-quiet in an otherwise boisterious city. The park was more peaceful than usual. Save for the occasional jogger or dog walker no one was about.

Carrie's hair is pulled back in a tight ponytail as she jogs along the path. The sound of her breath and her feet pounding on the Earth are the only sounds she pays attention to as she hadn't bothered with the distraction of headphones. It was about getting her heart rate up, keeping it up, and having fun with the occasional parkour move over an empty park bench. Okay, maybe she was showing off a bit, but who was going to really be around to see?
Thomas Raith Thomas Raith is around to see it, though he is a ways off along the near empty path heading in the opposete direction. He's wearing a white sleaveless t-shirt and shorts, even white sneakers. As the gap between the two of them closes, he offers her a mischevious smirk and jumps up, running along the back rest of a bench, and jumping back down without breaking the rythem of his stride. His smirk a bit challengeing.
Carrie Kelley Carrie Kelley lifts an eyebrow when she sees the fellow dressed almost entirely in white do someting similar to what she had been doing. Though, admitedly, she hadn't run along the back of the bench. A little narrowing of her eyes comes as she grins with amusement in response to his own expression. A quick hup of speed and she leaps up onto the next bench she approaches. Rather than run over the back she goes into a forward flip landing in a run on the ground once again.

Her response to the unknown man and his challenge is a simple sticking out of her tongue after.
Thomas Raith Thomas Raith doesn't break stride, but when she sticks her tounge out at him her grins wider, almost wolfishly. He runs towards the next bench and rolls into a handstand along it's narrow back. He holds a vertical for a moment, then slowly lowers himself to lay with his back along the inch wide steel. A Soft breath and then he preforms a nip up onto his feet, still on the bench back before dismounting and resuming his approach.
Carrie Kelley With a display like that... Carrie's jogging slows watching it. That was beyond a normal level of showing off, after all. "Okay, either you have no spine, or I've been slacking a *lot*," she calls out as way of greeting.
Thomas Raith Thomas Raith offers his beast smile, his eyes a stormy grey blue. "i think that's the first time a beautiful woman ever called me spineless and meant it as a compliment." He says with a wicked grin, pulling a bottle of water from his pocket and pouring some into his mouth. "Thomas, nice to meet you."
Carrie Kelley Carrie Kelley breaks into a light chuckle at the response. Her weight shifts to one foot while the other bends up behind her to catch with her hand to stretch as she'd just stopped jogging. Better to do that while the muscles were still warm and not prone to cooling too quickly. "Carrie," she offers back with a grin. "And you HAD to have bruised your back doing that. Park benches aren't exactly the height of comfort, especially the back of it."
Thomas Raith Thomas Raith smirks just a little bit, "Well you can look if you like, but I don't bruise easy." He makes the offer sound almost wicked somehow. He streaches his waist and chest too as he talks. He doesn't try to hide the fact that he is looking at her streaching out. Admireing but not goggleing, and when he speaks at least it's directly to her face. "But it had the desired result didn't it. How else was I going to get you to stop and talk with me?"
Carrie Kelley Carrie Kelley lets her foot fall only to shift her weight to do the same with the other leg to stretch it out. A light smirk plays over her lips as she regards Thomas in turn. She didn't often looking men over, not like this, but somehow... somehow she finds herself doing so now. "Ah, well I guess that's true. You could have fallen off the trail and broken your ankle, but that wouldn't have been very productive to conversation."
Thomas Raith Thomas Raith smirks a bit, "There is also the classic 'accidentally' bumping into you." He says with a bit of a smile. "Otherwise I'd have had to keep coming back hoping to bump into you another time." He gives her another wicked smile. "And if that didn't work, it'd be a true shame. A woman as lovely as you deserves to be noticed..."
Carrie Kelley "I might have to punch you if that were the case. Stalking and all," Carrie rejoins with a careless shrug as she finishes her stretching. "Besides, I'm not usually in New York. I was just visiting a friend and thought I'd get in my morning jog while I was here."
Thomas Raith "All the more reason it's a good thing I decided to take the more direct approach." Though it's pretty clear that the direct approach is likely Thomas' method for everything. "Well perhaps then I can offer to show you around? I know a great place to get breakfast? You look like a steak and eggs girl."
Carrie Kelley Carrie Kelley chuckles quietly at that with a shake of her head. "I appreciate the offer but I've already got plans for the day. Sorry, Thomas," she offers back looking as if she might mean it. Somehow... the thought of spending more time with him wasn't an unpleasant idea. Hm.
Thomas Raith Thomas Raith offers that smile again, just dazzleing and brilliant. "Well what if I was to give you my number. MAybe you'll be free later, while you're here, or you'll be back some time. No harm in letting me feed you is there?" he asks playfully..
Carrie Kelley Carrie Kelley bites her lower lip chewing on it lightly as she considers this. "I guess I could do that..." she mumbles hesitantly. Something about what he said just seemed off, darnit. Feed her? Lightly she clears her throat as her hand lifts to sweep back through her hair before remembering that it was already in a ponytail. "Okay then. In case I get free."
Thomas Raith Thomas Raith takes her phone from her hand and deftly punches a series of numbers into it. A moment later a buzz comes from the lovely man's own pocket and he smiles just a little bit. He offers her phone back and takes the opertunity to let his finger trail across her hand. Some guys can't /kiss/ as nicely as he stroked her hand. "There is a club, not far from here. It's called the Blue Lady. Just go up to the bouncer, he'll be a Hispanic guy with a tomahawk hanging from his belt. Tell him Thomas told you to ask about Angella. He'll let you in. MAybe I'll see you there."
Carrie Kelley Carrie Kelley waits for her phone to be handed back. When his fingers brush over the back of her hand she feels her cheeks redden with a blush. It was such a simple gesture, yet it sent a shiver through her. No doubt due to the cold of the morning and the warmth of his skin. Nothing more. Really. Even if he was cute. "Right," she agrees easily tucking away the information offered in her memory. "Sounds shady," she teases with a grin. "But we'll see. It was nice meeting you, Thomas."
Thomas Raith Thomas Raith smirks a bit, "Well option B is standing outside in line waiting with the others trying to get in." He says playfully. He does a few in place jogging steps as they prepare to start moving in opposete directions again. "Come by tonight, bring a friend. I promise it'll be a night you'll remember."
Carrie Kelley Carrie Kelley laughs warmly and tosses her hair in a move that would look better in a shampoo comercial than real life. "Okay then. I'll see you later perhaps." A playful wink is given as she turns and starts to jog off again trying to keep her mind from wandering. The entire time she has a rather stupid smile on her face though.
