Owner Pose
Misha Mishatakes a right on Blue Moon ave, pulling into the quiet little subdivision. The street is somewhat clear of parked cars, not uncommon seeing as it is noon and parks his Scout about Three houses before his destination; 234 Blue Moon ave, an unassuming red brick house.
Mercy Thompson Mercy is out, walking from where she parked her car, looking for a house tha had a VW for sale. 234 Blue Moon according to the ad in Craigslist. She pushes some sunglasses up on her nose, and keeps on looking. She looks over when the Scout parks a couple doors down, she's at 232. Ah, there's the house number. She double checks what she wrote down and heads for the door.
June     June beat up some people lately. Low lifes for a local dealer. Blood is still on her knuckles, a little of it is her own. She checks the back of the receipt she used to scrawl the address. 234 Blue Moon. She doesn't know if the information is any good, and she pulls the denim jacket collar up across her neck to keep the cold off.

She glances at Mercy, and stops, not expecting that she is there for a car. Of course, with her punk rock appearance, June herself might look like a thug, shredded jeans, enough piercings to sink a ship, and short cropped brown hair that looks like it may have been buzzed a month ago.
Misha Misha Puts the CB back on its small mount and steps out of his scout, pulling his jacket close to fend of the cold autumn wind. He takes a quick glance at the house, nothing no movement in the windows, but there is a deep blue vw beetle in the small driveway. As well as two women in front of the house, neither of them match the description of the home owners, but something feels off about the two of them. He makes his way toward the two of them trying to catch them before they get too close to the house hopeing or keep some bystanders form some serious trouble.
Mercy Thompson Mercy stops and looks at June. Nope, not who she was expecting, but... "Hey. You the one with the ad about the Beetle?" She stuffs the note into her pocket. "I'm Mercedes." She looks over at Misha as he walks up, as well. She shifts a little so she can see them both.
June     June cocks one eyebrow, "Uh, no," she answers, genuinely oblivious the any potential car for sale. There's an edge of reservation in her stance, as if she didn't want anyone to talk to her. As she responds, her eyes shift to Misha beyond her, and she takes a step back suspiciously as the larger man approaches. Her left hand goes to her belt, and a thin index finger pulls on something metal just on the other side of the pants, the dull gray of the kunai only peeking from the edge. Another shift of her gaze goes down to his belt. BPD. It doesn't seem to relieve her tension, but she doesn't take initiative to speak to him.
Misha Misha?s eyes dart to the punk girl?s hands and stops for a brief second before closing the last couple of meters, keeping his posture relaxed and non threatening. "good afternoon ladies," he says forcing a slight smile to his inquisitive face, "Do either of you know the home owners?" his left thumb point to 234 Blue Moon.
Mercy Thompson "I'm just here about a car, officer," Mercy says. "Advertised in Craigslist." She glances at June, then back at the officer. Her own body language is relaxed, non-threatening. "There a problem here officer?"
June     June seems to weigh the question. "Maybe, they in some trouble or somethin'?" she asks, tilting her head back so that she gauges the cop down her nose, even though he's quite a bit taller than she is. She doesn't have a clue who they are, but she decides not to reveal that yet. Maybe it isn't the best way to approach it, but then, June was never known for her outstanding judgment calls.
Misha Misha looks over to the house for a quick second to check for any movement, nothing. "Not at the moment Miss, I just have some questions for the homeowners," misha says turning his head back to the two ladies. Misha looks over both women his eyes meeting the punk girls? "What about you? Friends of theirs?"
Mercy Thompson Mercy shakes her head "I don't even know wtheir names," she says. "Craigslist ad for a car," she reminds the officer, tone turning a little tart. "Why do you ask?"
June     "We got mutual acquaintances," June answers, offering little to add to her statement beyond that. She breaks eye contact with Misha, shifts her weight, and mildly her attention, toward Mercy, and then to the beetle that is in fact in the drive way, narrowing her eyes in contemplation.
Misha Misha chuckles as he runs his left hand through his short hair, a genuine smile creeping onto his face. "My apologies miss, though I was talking to the girl with her hand in her pants," Misha says as he points to June.
Mercy Thompson Mercy starts to say soemthing, rethinks it. "You mind if I head out then? I'll try again another day about the car." She gives June an apologetic look. "I'll just leave you two to your inte...conversation."
June     "Yeah, I don't want trouble from no cops," she says, glancing down at her hand. She removes it from the kunai, and puts it in the pocket of the denim jacket instead. "I'll let you to do your thing with'em, whatever they in, I ain't in it," June protests innocence, despite the lack of accusations yet being made. She starts to take a single step backward.
Mercy Thompson Mercy doesn't really wait around for the 'ok', just assumes it, and makes her way back to her car.
Misha Misha's smile fades to a more neutral look, "don?t worry your not in any trouble," Just wondering if you could tell me if the home owners are inside. Misha turns to walk up the stairs to the small front porch of the house. "You two have a good day."
June     June makes as if she is going to continue walking on her way, heading past the house. Once she manages to find a place out of immediate sight, she tucks up , keeping low and quiet as she double backs toward the back yard of the original house in question. If cops are visiting these people, she feels she must be on the right trail.
Misha Misha clears the chort distance of the porch and give three good knocks on the door "Bludhaven police department, Is anyone home?" Misha says in a calm, clear tone. His voice apparently causing a stir in the house, as someone or something begins to quietly move about the house. After waiting for about 30 seconds the door opens slightly and stops, the security chain stretching from the frame to the door. A gaunt and sunken face appearing behind it.
Misha Misha says, "Hello," Misha says in his tone not changing. "I?m detective Zemli BPD, Spectre unit, are you Ben Clarence?""
Misha A wall of stench from the house assaults Misha's scenes like a barbarian horde. Misha forces back a grimace as he tries to focus away from the menagerie of smells. "I am" the man states his eyes darting up and down Misha "Spectre eh? I never heard of the Spectre unit, what do you all investigate Ghosts?"
June     June, from her hidden position on the side of the house, creeps forward, crouched against the brick. She knits her brow, listening to him claim his unit, and considers that she might have asked the same question the man did. It's at about that moment the stink reaches her nose, and she covers her mouth with a contortion of her face. It makes her want to wretch, but she resists the urge, and pulls her Killers T-shirt up over her nose to block some of the smell.
Misha Misha tries to chuckle but it comes up as more of a soft choke as he rubs his nose. "Not all the time," Misha says finally able to focus on the conversation, "we also get the bottom of the barrel cases, like animal attacks," Misha reaches into his coat revealing a bit of his shoulder rig and M1911, bringing out as small notepad "I would like to ask you a few questions about the morning of the 14th." Were you in the area of Firestone park last Saturday, around 3-4 am?"
June     June knits her brow. Animals? Is that the horrid smell? She pulls her phone from her back pocket, making certain it is on silent, and then starts to pull up news feeds to figure out what happened in town on that date.
Misha the man's eyes begin to dart around again, "well um-" he begins to fumble for words "No um, yes, yes I was for a bit, my car ran out of gas and I had to walk to a station with a jerry can so I could get my car filled up." Misha flips through his note book a bit "ahhh that?s not fun, been there myself a couple of times, which station did you go to?" Misha looks up from his pad and locks eyes with Ben. Misha forces another smile to come to his face, "Do you mind if we talk inside? Get out of this cold weather?"
June     June glances up at the window on the side of the house. Inside? She rolls her eyes, and scouts the possible entrances to the house, looking for the best option for her to open a window, or else remove an attic vent, or even go to the back door. Infiltration is what she does, a place like this shouldn't be too hard to sneak into.
Misha The man nods hesently at first but soon enough he closes the door and he unlatches the security chain before opening the door. "Come in officer." as he steps beside the door gesturing inside the modest home. Upstairs his advanced hearing picks up muffled sounds, almost like something moving across soft carpet, almost like somthing is trying to stay hidden. Misha play's it close to the chest for now, as he steps inside the house, letting the door close before going through the usual song and dance. "now, you were saying something about your car breaking down?"
Misha The side of the house is pretty standard, Two windows hang at shoulder level, the closer of the two is slightly ajar, further down the house is a privacy fence tracing the property line blocks the backyard from view.
June     June goes to the ajar window, gripping and pulling up from the sill. It's not well lubricated, but after a few tugs, she has it open enough that she can slide through. She slips feet first into the room, taking in her surroundings and trying to listen for the conversation, unaware of the other entity up above.
Misha "Yah," Ben says "I had to go get gas at the quick stop, took me 30 minutes to get there." Misha nods as he looks around the house, the living room was well furnished with all the standards; couch, coffee table some easy chairs in good condition. The kitchen/ dining room looked pretty much the same clean counter table top with its three chairs all pushed in. Something was off this place certainly didn't match the smell, hell even the carpet looked clean and then there was our mystery guest, whoever was upstairs. Misha looks back to Ben, "did you hear anything during your walk that night?"
June     June moves to the hallway, tucking her eye briefly out into the hallway to see if there is a clear shot to the front room, and then takes better inventory. She spots a small trinket, picking it up off the shelf, and she pockets it. Old habits die hard.
Misha Ben shakes his head "Nah I didn?t hear anything, some animals maybe but nothing out of the ordinary, why did something happen?" Misha sighs as he jots something down on the note pad. "Two men were attacked, by some animal," Ben recoils "oh my god by what?" Misha tapes his notepad with his pen "that is what we are trying to find out, Mr Clarence." Misha tilts his head sideways and his brow furrows "Mr Clearance is there anyone else at home with you?"
June     As Misha asks if there is anyone else at home with the man, she freezes, daring not to move. She hadn't thought that she was so loud, but of course she doesn't know that there was a sound above her that she did not hear. Her fingers silently press against the wall, and she poises herself to run in the event that she's been discovered.
Misha Ben remains calm at the question, his posture changes as he begins to square his shoulders. His eyes slowly look around the room and eventually locks with Misha, "No," he says in a surprisingly calm voice, "My roommates are out for the day." His lips curl up a bit showing a faint smile as gestures his hand across his belly to the dining room, "You can have a look around if you like Detective." Misha does not take his eyes off Ben and freezes in place, because to him, Ben had changed.
The change was subtle, the posture and tone being only a byproduct of the confidence that is all too common among wild predators, especially young ones. "Don?t you know it's unwise to play games with cops." Misha says as he begins to ready himself for what is to come. Ben smirks at the notion "I never can resist playing with my food." As soon as the words leave his mouth Ben lunges towrd misha.
June     June cocks her head to one side, and then turns to look around the corner as the man lunges at Misha. Play with his food.

"What kinda sick fu-" she sees the man attack, and glances back at the window, then back toward Misha and his attacker. "Shit." She pulls a kunai from her belt, and soon it leaves her flicking wrist as she tucks back behind the door. She doesn't wait to find out if it finds the mark of the small of the man's back before she pulls another from her belt, listening for the result of the exchange.
Misha Ben was quick, but young. Ben didn?t even know he had given away his strike allowing Misha to side step the lunge. Mid lunge something in Ben?s movement changed as a small blade hit in the side. With nothing in his way Ben and preoccupied with an unknown threat; Ben promptly slammed into the wall behind Misha, going through the drywall and breaking the stud behind it.R    %Clearly not anticipating the move, Ben attempted to get his bearings as Misha slammed into him yanking out of the drywall and into the adjacent wall a small yelp of pain coming from Ben. Misha could hear the cracking of drywall and bones as he attempted to go for Ben?s hands only to find the soft fur of a paw. The physical change was faster than Misha expected, in one instant the tall, gaunt, man with shaggy brown hair was now more or less a large wolf. Misha?s eyes widen as a force hits his chest throwing him across the hall and into the dining room.
June     June pokes her head back around the corner just as the large wolfe emerges after having struck Misha, sending him across the room. "Damn mutants," she mutters. This is the part where she is supposed to exit. The cop isn't her problem. She goes back to the window she came in, moving to lift it again. Unfortunately, there is a large metallic ring from inside the mechanism, indicating that the window has broken. She curses under her breath.

"Of course it breaks," she says. "Why wouldn't it?" She considers breaking through the window, but it would take time to clear enough glass to make a good escape, and odds are the wolf heard the sound of the window's malfunction already. She turns around, and heads for the kitchen, snagging a butcher knife and replacing the kunai to her belt. She needs a bigger blade.
Misha The wolf snarls as it grips the small knife with its snout pulling it out by the ring on its hilt promptly dropping it to the floor, his ears perk up at the sound of metal catch on metal he turns to see a female run from the window into the kitchen. He glances back at Misha and seeing him slumped at far dining room wall snorts and trots after his new pray. Large thumps can be heard upstairs moving around, coming closer, and descending a set of stairs.
June     June looks up at the ceiling. "Two?" she asks. "Fuckin' hell." She looks back down at the wolf reaching the doorway. "Y'know, we could talk about this," she says, realizing she is a completely new factor in this. "It look bad and all, I give ya that, but really, I just came here to talk." She holds the butcher knife in a backhand grip, and the trinket in her pocket falls out, shattering on the floor. She glances at it, and winces. "I can explain," she offers weakly, expecting to be assaulted by the monster at any moment.
Misha The wolf stops at the entrance to the kitchen and stops letting the other wolf come into the living room its blond fur, a contrast form Ben's dark brown. Ben snorts and grins, clearly seeing June's bargaining as a joke. A low growl can be heard from the front entrance and both ears of the wolves perk up. As soon as the blond wolf turn it is hit by a large mass of claws and auburn fur. The blond wolf not braced for the attack is thrown through a pair of curtains and the large window behind it. The sounds of breaking wood and a loud yelp of pain can be heard from outside as the head of a very large bear turns to face Ben.
June     "I broke into the fucking zoo! What the hell is this?" June exclaims, backing up, into the counter of the kitchen. Still trapped where she is, she pulls a marble sized pellet from her jacket pocket. "Somebody call the damn animal control." She watches the bear face the dark-furred wolf, and readies her move that she might make to escape in the chaos.
Misha As Ben tries to maneuver to face this new threat the bear slams him up against the back door the wood creaking and breaking against the force. Ben begins digging his hind claws into the belly of the bear as he tries to bite down on the bears neck. The bear Grunts in pain as it slams the wolf into the door again, this time breaking off its hinges causing the two to fall through it and into the back yard.
June     June follows the sprawl of fur and claw, exiting through the shattered portal lightly, eyes fixed on the fight. "I'm gonna castrate those little shits when I get ahold of them. Try to feed me to some horror movie scene?" She curls her lip, trying to slip by and to the side of the house without gathering the attention of the two combatants.
Misha The back yard is fairly plain, a old wodden porch with a rail huggs the outside wall of the house and decents about two steps into the yard proper. A spot of the railing is broken the pointed rails tipped with blood, a tril of with leades from beneath the hole, across the yard and through a broken gate in the security fence at the rear of the yard.
Misha Ben is able to writhe out from under the bear in the fall rolling across the borch and into the yard as the bear slams down on the deck; the fall nor attacks seaming to bother him at all. As Ben attempts to regain his footing the bear lumbers off the deck and into the yard picking up Ben with its snout, the wolf making feeble attempts to resist and slams it into the ground. Still writhing, the bear puts one of its large paws on the wolfs chest slowly exerting more and more pressure, eventually the wolf lets out a yelp and changes back into the gaunt man, at which the bear lifts his paw off of him.
June     June watches attentively, but avoids engaging the fight. She vaults the railing of the deck near the house, and down to the grass below, then moves to climb the security fence.
Misha The bear sits back on its haunches as it looks over at June scaling the security fence. It blinks twice and begins to quickly change, paws turning into hands, fur changing from a red brown to blue denim and the brown leather of a jacket as the structure and bear like anatomy fades away to that of a man. At the zenith of the third blink Misha gets back up and reaches inside his jacket bring out a pair of handcuffs and walks over to Ben. "You see where the blond one ran off to?" Misha asks as he quickly brings Ben?s hands to his back and cuffs them together.
June     June makes it to the other side of the fence, eyes locking briefly with Misha. She isn't going to ask, and she isn't going to stay to find out more. She's had all the weird she can deal with for one day. She drops to the other side and starts making a sprint back toward the front of the house, ready to extricate herself from the scene.
Misha Seeing the strange women fleeing the scene, Misha decides to stay with Ben and see to his wounds after which Misha calls for backup.
