Oliver Queen     Most of Starlings gang and other problems tend to be in the Glades and around that area. With military grade weapons turning portions of the city into a warzone after the fungus war ripped the world apart, the mess has only just started to get back under control.

With the estates in West Vancouver relying more in automated security and company guards, those estates that have less human presence are very vulnerable these days. If one knows how to look.

Tonight, the patrols normally around the Rancogar mansion in the rich part of town are down to a skeleton crew, and the gang fighting has managed to distract a number of security guards as they monitor the car chases. It's all a bit chaotic with the police chasing them... a perfect cover for the Black Cat to work her way into the mansion, what with the sirens. The solid brick wall is the only thing keeping the perimeter in check, with the gate checkpoint completely automated.
Felicia Hardy     The woman in black slinks through the shadows of the moonless night with ease. Her long white hair is tied back and up into a firm bun pressed tightly against the back of her head. Her charms shouldn't be needed tonight, if all goes according to plan. Which is never the case, but why invite trouble.

Felicia slowly runs her tongue over her top teeth as she stops not far from the wall and examines it from her hiding spot near a large tree. /Could jump over, but I'm not sure what's on the other side when I land, no good. The gate is the obvious way in but it's going to have the strongest security, which is no big deal really./ She's thinking to herself, pondering her options when she hears the sirens approaching and decides a vault might be the fastest way onto the property.

Felicia begins to run her enhanced legs pushing her faster than any normal human could ever hope to run and she coils her muscles tightly, before springing up and over the wall, her bad luck charm still playing perfectly as the spotlights designed exactly to catch someone coming over the wall burn out. /Lucky me./ Felicia thinks as she slides up to the mansion and jumps behind the hedge and waits for her next moment.
Oliver Queen     On the inside of the wall, the well groomed grass around the mansion proper has trimmed trees and bushes around it. Perfect cover against spying eyes as Black Cat heads inside. The few guards on contract for this specific estate are on the other side of the grounds, keeping an eye on the car chase to be sure it isn't coming their way. They don't seem to have noticed the spotlight has burnt out yet.

The mansion itself is a three story construction, seemingly old school with the lack of modern edging. The front door has two security cameras watching it. The windows dotted along the outside don't seem to have any eyes on them, though.
Felicia Hardy     Felicia smirks, thankfully she's checked this place out before, a little. Drones and disguises to deliver packages to the front door, helped her blend in with the world and get an idea of what she was doing. A place that has armed security tends to not cheap out on the rest of the security, but there are oftentimes loopholes built into these things. Like most windows don't have cameras on them, but they tend to have sensors built into to alert someone that a window has opened. The flaw here is that those are only ever on the first floor, sometimes the second, but Felicia has a hunch that the top floor, those windows will be free of any electronics.

That's when the woman begins to scale the walls, smiling as she does her super-thing. Always impressed at herself, the woman climbs the house with ease and makes her way to a third story window. Her clawed hands finding the glass and starting to push up, trying to slide it open.
Oliver Queen     Getting to the third floor in between glances back is easy enough. The cameras have blindspots here and there from rotations, and the Mark one eyeballs over on the other side of the grounds aren't there to pick up the slack.

When Black Cat climbs up to the third floor and finds a solid foothold to work from, she can easily spot the window break alarms installed up there.

The right equipment can bypass those, at least.

The only window on this side of the mansion seems to go into some kind of library, with a table right in front of it.
Felicia Hardy     Felicia mumbles a complaint to herself as she spots the sensor but she recovers quickly enough, her free hand reaching down into the fur on her calf and she pulls out a small impossibly then electro magnetic recalibrator. A pretty penny in and of itself. The woman frowns as she presses it to the side of the frame and carefully makes sure it will stay and not fall as she lets go and pulls out her cell phone to sync up with the device.

Using her phone she waits as patiently as she can and then it flickers green, the signal is interrupted and she can move the window finally. Slowly lifting it by the wooden frame, The Black Cat slowly enters the library and takes a moment for her eyes to adjust after ducking behind a piece of furniture.
Oliver Queen     It's around this point Black Cat can hear the small noise, a 'clink' as something seems to hit the walls outside.

On the inside, the library is one big room with the walls completely stacked with shelves, and rows of books in top of that. It's a small library in itself. The only way out besides the window is the door opposite.
Felicia Hardy     Felicia slowly rises herself up to her full height and takes a brief moment to sniff the air before she casually saunters over to the doorway. No one's home, so the sneaky hard part of this job is over, just have to keep an eye out for motion sensors on the inside which, easy breasy for her eyes and gadgets. The last hard part will be sneaking out, if that's what she wants to do. The clink isn't something she pays any attention to as she starts to open the door and begin to make her way to the vault.
Oliver Queen     By the door Black Cat is at the door about to leave the library, a not so subtle 'thunk' can be heard as someone comes through the window. Green Arrow lands with his right fist down against the floor in a well practiced landing, before he looks up and directly to Black Cat.

His voice has a distorter on, probably from the device attached to his right ear. The green hood and white lensed domino mask keep him his identity secret, "Don't you usually prowl around New York, Cat?" Green Arrow inquires with a hint of amusement as he moves to stand, his compound bow is at his side for now. "It was clever, using the mess outside to cover your approach. But it ends here. The auction is over. You'll just have to get the earrings the old fashioned way."
Felicia Hardy     Felicia stops and slips out her hip as she shifts her weight onto one foot, knowing exactly that horrible voice modulator. "You're turned up too much." The woman says, turning her head to look over her shoulder towards Oliver and she smirks, her hand motioning towards her ear. She understood him perfectly, but she has to screw with him. "I'm a cat arrow. Cat's prowl and wander. I'm not tied down to one locale." The woman says with a deviant smile.

She starts to lift her hand towards the doorknob again as an attempt to walk away from the masked hero and get on with her goals.
Oliver Queen     The quiver on his back is activated, constructing an arrow within a split second. The arrow is launched from his bow right at the door, and the shaft activates, spreading some sort of foam over the door and blocking it within seconds.

"They don't tonight." Green Arrow quips back at her, another arrow already ready on his bow and aimed for Black Cat, "I don't want to turn this nice mansion into a shooting gallery, so I'll give you one chance to go back out the window behind me and head home. Otherwise, I'm taking. you. down."

"What's it going to be?"
Felicia Hardy     Felicia looks closer at the foam and smirks at it mouthing a word the archer couldn't be able to hear before she looks back at the blond man, "Why must you boys always try and control animals, force them to deny their very nature?" The Cat asks with a playful frown.

"Oooh, a threat. While I'm certain you could take me down, you know, being on the Justice Team, or whatever." Felicia turns around and starts to aproach the archer, an eye on the tip of his arrow as she moves closer, "I live for the thrill of the chase honey." Felicia says before dropping down low with both hands and pushing off with her feet and hands away from Oliver's line of sight behind a tall shelf.
Oliver Queen     "We don't let cats pee on the carpet, either." Green Arrow continues. She had her chance, and she declined by implication. The sudden flip has an arrow shot where Black Cat goes, but the shelf gets in the way. Without it, it would have been a perfect hit to the calf.

"I don't need Alpha Flight to take you down." Seems Green Arrow isn't in the mood to chase her either... instead opting to put himself in the corner next to the window, facing away into the room. The next arrow readies is a net arrow, and he's aiming into the library proper. "Only one way in or out of here, Kitty."

He does sweeps of the room every so often as he waits.
Felicia Hardy     "That's where your wrong lover-boy." The woman says as she walks out from around a corner, slowly, a hand up on the bookshelf as she looks over longingly towards Ollie. "You win, you win, I didn't think you were going to be actually shooting me with arrows. That's not very nice." The burglar says with a coy ducklipped frown.
Oliver Queen     "I'm not like most men you'd meet, cat." The arrow is aimed directly at Black Cat, though it isn't launched. Yet. She's giving all the appearance of surrendering, after all. "Stay where you are, or I'll net you." Green Arrow grunts, before he starts to mutter under his breath.
Felicia Hardy     "Most men say exactly that mister arrow." Felicia responds, her eyes glowing a faint teasing glint behind her own domino mask. She suddenly stops moving, her hand still on the side of the bookshelf and her hips are cocked in an odd kind of sultry pose. "Oooh, don't tempt me." She says with a husky chuckle after her words.
Oliver Queen     "If you insist." The arrow is launched... but not directly at Black Cat. Instead, it's launched at the door, and Green Arrow dashes into the library proper, disappearing behind the shelves himself.
Felicia Hardy     Felicia remains standing still, that's what he told her to do, and she's being such a good kitten. She doesn't want to make the man with more arrows upset by not doing what he says, even as he does his weird thing. "Oh, so you wanted me to make things difficult I see." Felicia says as she breaks the rules and walks over to where the net ended up on the floor and crouches down to examine it more closely.
Oliver Queen     The net actually gets stuck on the foam, adding yet another layer of material blocking the doorway. When Black Cat goes to examine it, it becomes clear it's made of a study nylon. The shards of the arrowhead are embedded into the foam itself, as well as the shaft where the material obviously came from.

"Just making sure you don't try anything stupid." Green Arrow answers... from somewhere.
Felicia Hardy     Felicia examines the net closely and the foam closely with one hand reached out and scooping up a bit of slack. "You say I shouldn't try anything stupid, but at least I haven't damaged this random stranger's library in the slightest." Felicia says with a single laugh, allowing the thought to sink in for Oliver. "What would I even try at this point? Walk out the front doo- Oh wait! You sealed it up like some crazy exterminator."
