Sara Pezzini     Despite how bad it can be in harlem, there are still little pockets of 'sunshine' in the city. The park is one of them, where children play sports and dogs are walked. There are some places where joggers go, but it's not quite as big as central park. There's a few street performers, mostly dancers from a bygone era, but this is where someone can find Sara Pezzini. She likes watching these dancers every now and again....and marvel at how they don't break their chins.
Ares Walking into central park is Ares. The God of War. Thoug hthankfully, he's not here to kill or mass murder anyone. Instead, he's here as just his human guise, John Aaron. He seems to be quite happy just walking around, before his eyes find Sara.

By the Gods. Was she fashioned after Aphrodite herself?

Approaching the weilder of the Witchblade, Ares seems to be admiring the creation from multiple angles. "Enjoying the scenery?"
Sara Pezzini     "Just chuckling at the children trying their best, and marvelling at how they see the world with new eyes." Sara says to John as he approaches. "And, at times, wishing I could see the world from their eyes, once again." She then looks to John. "What about you? I get the feeling you don't come about places like this too often."
Ares "Well, I'm mainly here to see the sights." John Aaron shamelessly gives her a once over, checking her out. Well hey, maybe she's flattered that he finds her attractive. But he does look to the children with amusement in his eyes. "In seriousness," oh please, he wa sbeing VERY serious before. "I came to see the dancing. They are very talented, don't you know." he grins with amusement sparkling in his eyes before he looks on over to Sara again, extending his hand. "John. John Aaron."
Sara Pezzini     Sara chuckles and rolls her eyes. "Gee....a dangerous curves line. That's original." She says in a slightly dry tone. "Still amusing though. At least you said it in a flattering way." She then moves to shake John's hand. "Sara Pezzini." And her hand touches John's to shake.

Depending upon whether Ares has 'emphaty through touch' or not, may be how Ares can tell if Sara has the witchblade. Especially if he can hear a mental 'growling', that isn't Sara.....but something more.....male....and it's a warning growl.
Ares John gives her a bit of a smirk in response to his flirtations. If she accepts it, he'll lift their hands so he can attempt to plant a flirty kiss against her knuckles before letting it go. "A pleasure to meet you Sara."

Oh...that's new.

The Witchblade huh? A few people have wielded it that Ares even knows about. Though, he didn't fear it. He's faced against worse things and claimed his victory. But he does smile to her, testing the Witchblade as he comes closer. "So then, where are you from, Sara?" he asks her curiously
Sara Pezzini     Sara slides her hand out of John's, before the kiss. "As charming as you are, you'll forgive me if a handshake is the furthest I'll go." She then shrugs. "Right here. Well, New York in general. Grew up in queens before I joined the NYPD. Now I'm a detective. Can't believe I made it that far."
Ares John doesn't seem to mind the denied affection, but he does shrug. "Well, you want it, you work for it. Many times, you will earn it." Ares chuckles a little bit, before he watches the dance continue. "They arn't bad, actually." he looks to Sara though. "hm, and how far will you go? Harlem for a nice dinner?"
Sara Pezzini     "Was called down here for an investigation actually, but nothing too serious, i don't think." Sara says as she watches the dancers. "It was known, when I was little, as 'breakdancing'. I just marvelled at the acrobatics displayed on the street. "Now I marvel at how they aren't blad on top of their heads or have their chins broken..."
Ares Oh? A detective huh? "So then, what are you investigating?" he asks curiously before he looks to the dancers, though he seems to be absolutely focused on the dancers, partially amused and partially deep in thought.
Sara Pezzini     "I'm not allowed to say yet. Still under investigation." Sara says softly. "It's a minor thing, thankfully." She says as an officer walks up to her. "Detective, I think we have something." Sara nods then looks to John. "I'll see you later on then, John. I need to see to this." She says before she starts walking her way towards one of the buildings.
