It's getting on in the evening, nearly nine pm and the park is lit here and there...a basketball game on one of the courts and the biggest area a shell of light around a stage with a folk band up on it playing irish music. A few people are walking through the park, but have the appearance of going somewhere rather than just walking in the park. Mercy's just parked her car, a battered VW golf, is making her way toward the stage, with a detour toward a hot dog stand.
