Owner Pose
Andrea It's a chilly afternoon in New York and Andrea has opted to spend the day at the mall in hopes of finding a new jacket and some winter clothes. She is waiting by a fountain with a pair of shades and a cap on her head to hide her identity, dressed in a sweater and snug jeans. She texted Alex ahead of time to let him know where she will be waiting for him on this shopping adventure.
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine is incogneto as it were, which means a ball cap, pair of normal jeans and an ESU sweatshirt. He could pass for the boy next door probibly. He arrives at the mall, then sends Andrea a text back, telling her he's the Apple Store. Easy enough place for the pair to link up, and he cn check out the Iphone xXx.
Andrea Pushing off the fountain, Andrea makes her way to the Apple Store a few minutes later. "Hey." She calls over once she spies him through his disguise, looking amused at him. She puts the shades on the top of her head after removing her cap and sliding it into a belt loop for a bit of eighties throw back fashion. "You looking for a new computer?"
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine grins a bit and shrugs a little bit, "Hey I'd be lost in the world without Siri." he says with a bit of a grin, still he smiles at her and steps away from the display, much to the chigrin of the cashier. "Honestly I dont use computers much. MAde the mistke of googleing myself about two months ago.." He gives an exagerated shudder of horror.
Andrea "Ha. Try googling me instead. That will make you feel way better." Andrea says as she gives a stretch of her body, then makes a motion to follow as she heads out of the store. "I need to buy some winter clothes, something cute for an upcoming tour as well. Speaking of, when are you going back out on the road to make young girls scream?"
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine shrugs a bit "If LExa has her way? Sometime next fall." he answers with a grin, "Should be wraping the new album about then and there is the whole strike while the iron is hot thing." he mostly just follows her for now, letting her lead him around the mall. Then a slight grin comes to his lips, "Hey, I had a song come to me in the shower this morning. I bet it could be tweaked into a duet. Think you'd be interested?"
Andrea "Oh? Don't tell me you were thinking about me in the shower though when you wrote it." Andrea glances over her shoulder at him with a lift of her brow upwards. "So, I'm always down for a good duet. What's the song about? Got some lyrics to throw at me?"
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine grins a bit, "Well it's tenitively called "You look like a great mistake.." he says with a smile. "Classic tale of knowing what you want is a bad idea and going after it anyway. One line was "I carefully weighed if going out with you was a good idea or am I making a terrible mistake. Then I took a breath and said yes anyway."
Andrea Raising her brows upwards at him a bit higher, Andrea taps him on the nose. "That sounds like a song that would get me in trouble with Mason." She says with a smirk on her face. "I'm still trying to figure you out."
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine grins a bit, "It's a song. We're singers. I mean would he be upset if you were making a video and had to kiss another guy for it? It's part of the job." He shrugs a bit, "Am I really that hard to figure out?"
Andrea "Ha. You are so flirting it's thick and obvious." Andrea says as she walks down the hallways, giving a bit of a playful rhythm in her movements, as if she was about to dance to a song stuck in her head. "I don't know. He probably wouldn't be jealous. Depends. He's hard to figure out too."
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine shrugs a bit and blushes a bit, "Sorry, guess I'm not very good at it huh?" he says with a shrug and keeps walking with her, "The offer is real though, if your interested. All I've got is the lyrics right now, but I can send them to your e-mail to read over. "I mean at least I didn't use 'It's a bad idea, but let's not put up a fight. Let Tomorrow worry about tomorrow and do something we'll regret later tonight."
Andrea "No, you are /really/ good at flirting and that's the dangerous part." Andrea laughs as she gives her eyes a roll upwards to him. "I don't need Mason writing a backstabber song about me though. It would be well deserved." As she listens to him, she grins. "You are really good at writing lyrics by the way. But, yes, I'm down for a duet. Let's do it."
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine blushes and grins even wider. "Sounds great, I'll send you the email later today." he promises, following her into the store. "And MAson could never write something like backstabber. Your fan's would eat him alive and his fans might turn on his for not being cool aand detached..
Andrea "You kidding me? Mason is a lyrical genius. He won't even use the current melody and rhythm. He likes to do his own thing, throw everything on it's head. He's a real rebel. Also, his fans are kinda nasty too. Now that we're dating again, you'd think I just stabbed Jesus on the front lawn of the White House with how they act."
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine chuckles a bit, "well there is an image.." He says amused and shrugs. "So are we shopping for something specific or just in general?" he asks as he looks at the rack of designer women's winter coats.. "Poofy? Furry? Sleak?"
Andrea "Something with a furry hood." Andrea grins at him as she bounces on her feet along with the music coming from the speakers in the mall. It's a current song on the radio, one that she enjoys. "Not real fur of course. But I like how they look, they're super cute. Maybe a puffy purple coat."
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine shrugs a bit, "I know it's not real PC of me, but I actully don't mind fur. I mean we raise animals for meat, why not fur? Al long as they are treated humanely at least." Still he looks around the racks with her slowly, humming along to the tune. The volume from the speakers turns up just a bit. He doesn't raise his head but does look up at her playfully..
Andrea "I think it's different to kill something to use in a thousand dollar jacket than a steak. It's about the intent behind it. I think it's gross." Andrea says with a grin over her shoulder at him as the music rises. "Besides, I have a personal stake in the whole fur thing. Maybe I'll show you later."
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine chuckles just a bit and nods, considering. He pulls one off the rack and holds it up as if trying to visualize it on her. "Like I said, I know it's not the PC method of thought, but I find myself becoming less conformist since leaving Disney." He drapes the coat over his arm and looks for another one.
Andrea "Yeah, Disney does that to you. Mason and you are such bad boys and here I am still clinging to my values." Andrea says with a teasing grin over her shoulder at him as she plucks a jacket up as well. "I didn't let the Mouse break me."
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine rolls his eyes, "Aww come on, I'm not /that/ bad." he says with a grin. "When I Googled myself the other dys, one reviewer said I was so sachrine that she felt the need to get a dentest to check her for cavities." he holds up another coat, eyeballs it then offers it to her to try on.
Andrea Andrea reaches out and takes the jacket from him. "Usually when I google myself, I see the headlines of mutie menace puts out mediocre pop music, yet still hits quadruple platinum in two days."
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine smirks a bit, "Don't ever search for yourself with safeserch turned off on image mode." He advises playfully as he grins a bit and keeps looking for another coat for her as well. "Do you remember those stupid mittens my mom used to knit for everyone, with the string that ws supposed to go down both sleaves of your coat so you wouldn't loose them?" he smiles a bit sadly and a tear leaks from the corner of his eye. "My hands got cold on the way here, and all I could think was 'If mom was still here, I would at least have a pair of mittens.
Andrea "Then buy a pair of mittens. You're going to cry in the mall over mittens?" Andrea asks as she elbows him a bit in the ribs. "And maybe I'll go search you later with safesearch off, now I'm curious. Are these photoshops or texting mistakes?"
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine lets that smile come back to the corner of his lips and shakes his head. "I dunno, it just hits me hrd sometimes. But you're right. Hell that's probibly what she'd say. If your hands are cold, buy a pair of mittens." He glances over and smirks, picking a pair off a pile sitting in in a display. Ironically they have Mickey and friiends printed on them.
Andrea "Not those mittens." Andrea says with a grin at him as she reaches over to snag a pair of black mittens, the kind that you can peel the fingers back if you need to use a phone. She hands those over to him, though she does notice him not answering the next question. She hums, then starts to tap away into her phone. ".. Alex .. Valentine ... safe search off..."
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine ughs and groans... although he doesn't stop her. To his credit, the ones that aren't photoshoped are at worst him only wearing a pair of board shorts at the beach... The photo manipulated ones on the other hand... Well it seems there are allot of teenage girls with time on their hands and access to porn of a certain type..
Andrea Looking at some of the images, Andrea raises her brows upwards. "Huh. You're in a lot of gay stuff." She swipes her finger a few times, snort laughing a few times. "At least they're generous with some of these."
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine groans slightly and shakes his head a bit, "Well not /that/ generious." he says, though he's obviously more amused then anything. "Yeah, honestly I don't get it. Why do girls who, as near as I can tell want to fetishize me, want to fetishize me in a way that automatically excludes them as a possibility?" he shakes his head. He tosses her a purple scarf that is virtually the same color as her coat.
Andrea "I have no clue." Andrea says as she swipes the app off with a soft laugh. "It's not my thing. If I was going to create fanart of celebrities, I'd put myself in them and not other guys." She catches the scarf and puts it on the jacket, then goes in search for a sweater. "But I don't look at that stuff online anyways. I try and stay off the Net as much as possible."
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine nods a bit, moving with Andrea. "Yeah, well like I said, there is a reson I don't own a computer." As the song that was playing ends, the volume turns back down... much to the annoyance of the maintance man who had just figure out how to turn it down again in the firt place and now has to turn it back up to where it was. "Though I did Google that school you were telling me about... not much to see obviously..
Andrea "Obviously, for reasons. It's a school for gifted students. And I'm very gifted academically. Straight A's." Andrea says as she plucks out a pair of thick boots and puts them in Alex's arms. He can carry these for her. She gives him a grin as he drops the volume down. "You enjoy messing with people?"
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine grins a bit and shrugs, "It's one of lifes simple pleasures. And besides I thought you only wanted to dance to Celebrate." he grins a bit, "How ever if you're also a Rockin' around the Christmas tree fan.." and the volume goes back up again, leaving the poor technician completely flumoxed.
Andrea "Oh God, no. Turn that shit off. It's not December yet. Let Thanksgiving die in dignity." Andrea says with a laugh, heading for the dressing room. "Though Mason wants to do a duet with me for this big event he got asked to do and sing a Christmas song. He wants to Mason'fy it as always, but, I don't know. I used to love big events, until I started being shot at."
Mason     Perhaps it's a guy thing, but Mason would not have likely said yes to meeting her at the Mall if it wasn't for the fact that she said Alex Valentine was there as well. Not that he feels threatened, of course. He may not be quite as famous as the other two, but it's not for lack of musical talent. Some might argue his advanced musical talent is what inhibits him from being more successful. Sometimes his compositions are a bit beyond the normal listener's ear. He has his ray bans on with a green North Face coat as he walks into the mall. He doesn't necessarily want to draw a crowd.
Alex Valentine "Yeah, that could put a dampener on things." Alex says with a grin as the music not only cuts off, but ends with a screech that sounds like someone pulling a needle off of an old school record the wrong way. "You sure you wanna do Mistake too then? Don't wanna get show horned as the duet artist."
Andrea "I have two plat albums out right now, I can do a duet for a single for a friend. That's fine." Andrea says with a grin to him. "But, I'm not kissing you on camera unless Mason signs off on it, so don't go writing that into your script yet." She points out as she steps to the fitting rooms, reaching out to knock on a door to make sure it's empty. "I haven't done kiss acting since I was last on Disney. It doesn't bother me, but, still, you know."
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine chuckles a bit, "I just got the rough draft of the song wrote last night, I haven't even /thought/ about videos yet." he says amused. He leans agienst the door frame of the dressing room so that they can continue to talk once she goes inside. "I know, they were so weird. They wouldn't let Alex and Crystal kiss for what, 6 seasons. Then we had to do like 35 takes and make it look natural.."
Mason     Mason wanders down the corridor, "I didn' think you were acting," Mason comments from behind Andrea as he reaches them, regarding the 'kiss acting'. "Hey Alex, what brings you to New York?" he asks, pulling a hand from a coat pocket to shake while the other hand reaches out to be placed around Andrea's shoulder.
Andrea "Ha. I was thirteen when we had our first kiss. I was definitely acting. At least the first time." Andrea says with a happy grin as she turns around to give him a quick kiss. "I'm going to throw these on and model for you two. Give me a few." She says as she dips into the dressing room.
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine grins a bit and shakes the offered hand with that same easy smile. "american Airlines." He quips and shakes his head. "Moving out here. Had to get off the west coast, it was driving me nuts. Not to mention someone was trying to force me out of the closet." He drops his tone to a stage whisper, "I mean whose business is it but mine if I am a concervitive."
Mason     The closet remark gains an arch of the brow before the joke's punchline, and then he gives a small laugh, "Okay man, well, it's cold out here. Ain't like L.A. 'n Orange County." He returns the quick peck from Andrea, letting her go off to the dressing room. "Been out here almost a year, didn't seem to bad until October hit, then it got nasty. Plus, there seems to be more fan mobs that form here, so be careful. All those conservative girls." He gives a wink.
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine smirks a bit, "Don't get it twisted, there are allot of cute conservitive girls. Who doesn't want a busty blonde in cut off shorts and carrying an AR-15?" he asks amused. "Besides, what's wrong with fan mobs. Everyone's got to die somehow, can you think of a better way to go?"
Mason     "Oh, I can't. But I prefer the beach mobs to the ones in heavy overcoats," Mason points out. "But then Andrea gets jealous." He glances back in the direction of the dressing room. "I came out here for school, got accepted to Julliard. It's pretty exciting to study with the level of people that are teaching there. Way different than when I first learned piano as a kid."
Andrea After throwing on an outfit, Andrea opens the door and heads over to them. She is wearing a purple sweater with her snug jeans and has the scarf Alex gave her over her neck and shoulders. "Whatcha think?" She asks as she gives a playful twirl for the two of them.
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine grins a bit, admiring her as she twirls. "I think that you make that outfit look great." He says with a smile, nodding to Mason as he mentions furthering his education "Good on you, Mason. Part of me wishes I'd actully gone and got some polish. Hasn't seemed to hurt me yet not having it but.." He shrugs again
Mason     "Yeah, I don't think that it makes you more popular." Mason gives a shrug that echoes Alex's. Most people are happy with the same recycled songs over and over again. Just slap a new instrument or different tempo, and bam, they are fooled. So to be big you don't need to know much. Just how to present. I just want to be proud of the music I make. Maybe make somethin' people will still play in a few hundred years."
He gives a once over of Andrea as she exits. "Looks hot," he confirms. "But that might just be because it's on you."
Andrea "Cool. I'll buy these then." Andrea says with a grin to both boys, tucking some hair back behind her ear. "I'm gonna slip into another outfit, then head off to pay for these. You two bromance or whatever." She says with a wink, then sneaks back into the fitting room to change back.
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine grins a bit shaking his head at Andrea's "Bromance" comment. "Ehh, to each their own. The problem as I see it is that people like Bach, or Van Gogh, or hell Edgar Allen Poe, you know the ones that people appreciate a hundred years later? They died broke and unappreciated. I'd rather enjoy now, and let the people a hundred years from now enjoy their own thing. After all we ain't getting now back."
Mason     "That's true," Mason says, "Why do you think I make all the trash songs I make? People eat it up. Still, I want something that can be remembered later. Why can't I have my cake and eat it?"
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine shrugs a bit, "I mean if you can make it work, all the more power to you. But frankly when you try to serve to purposes you can't give enough of yourself to either." He walks to the bin where Andrea helped him pick out some mittens. "Like I said, I'd rather enjoy the fruits of my labor now."
Andrea Having snuck out to pay for the clothes, Andrea comes back with a large plastic back in her hands. "Okay, on to the next store! What are you two in the mood for? You guys don't need to watch me walk around buying stuff. I wanna see you two model for me too."
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine laughs a bit and shrugs as Andrea comes back. "I don't know about clothes, but I could put a serious hurting on one of those Italian sausages with all the peppers and onions." He says grining slightly. Absently he reaches out towards Andi to offer to carry her bag for her.
Mason     Mason shrugs, "I could eat," he comments. "I don't know what, maybe a cheesesteak. I got plenty of clothes." He was too slow on the offer of carrying the bag, but casts a sideways glance to Alex.
Andrea As Alex takes her bag, Andrea looks a bit surprised for a moment, but doesn't seem to mind. "Sure, I can go for food too I suppose. I'm hungry like a wolf these days." She smiles, bumping her shoulder into Mason's before sliding her hand down into his. "So, if you two hunks wanna tear into a cheesesteak, I'll just grab a turkey wrap. Something /healthy/." She teases the two, starting off. "So, after this, we can go back to my place and hang out?"
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine grins a bit, not seeming to notice the look from either of them. "Hey, one of those Italian sausages is healthy. Meat, dairy, grains, fruit and veggies all in one meal. How can that not be healthy?" he asks with a grin. As Andi's suggestion of hanging out at her place he just shrugs. "Sounds good to me, my whole schedual is clear.
Mason     Mason rolls his eyes at Andrea's pun, but doesn't say anything about it as they make their way into the food court. "Okay, I'm grabbing a cheeseteak, I'll get you a turkey wrap," he tells Andrea, his way of stating that he was buying hers. After all, boyfriend job and all.
Andrea The brows of Andrea raise upwards as Mason offers to pay her lunch. She may even give him a surprised look, followed by a smile. She squeezes his hand. "Sure, that's cool. So, what do you guys want to do tonight? We can do movies, we can order dinner, we can just cruise about New York and show Alex what the big city is all about... maybe hit up a Broadway show? I can get tickets to anything real easy."
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine grins a bit at that, setting Andi's bags on one of two tables that are pushed together so that he can go get his own food. "Any or all of that sounds good to me. Till you called and asked me to go shopping with you, my plan for the night was stay in and play video games." He goes over to order as well, the rich tomato-y smell drawing him like a moth to flame..
Andrea Taking a seat to let Mason order for her, Andrea watches the two go to stand in line as she captures extra chairs for the table. She roots through the bag, then puts the scarf on with a smile before sliding her phone out and giving a quick update of her social media. She never looks at the notifications. That's an esteem nightmare.
Alex Valentine The line for susages is a bit shorter, so Alex beats MAson back to the table by a fairly wide margin, bringing back a pair of sausages, a super Jumbo Dr. Pepper, and a Super Jumbo sweet tea, which he offers Andrea. "Looks like he's gonna be a minute with your food. Thought you might be thirsty.
Andrea "Heh, thanks." Andrea says as she takes the drink for a sip. "Yeah, that place is always slow." She shifts up in her seat a bit straighter. "But they make the best wraps. So, where are you staying at currently? Did you get an apartment? House? Kicking it at a hotel?"
Alex Valentine Alex shrugs slightly, "Still in the hotel. Went to see this nice apartment yesterday. Great area, lots of space... then just as we were about to close, I hear the neighbors start...entertaining themselves... me and the realtor just kept staring at each other till we cracked up. She's going to show me a few other places next thursday."
Andrea "Entertaining themselves?" Andrea grins at him. "You should see about an invite. You could crash at my place if you want for a few days instead. I got a guest room you can loaf in. I don't mind." She says as she takes another sip. "I do have a friend staying with me though named Laura, and sometimes Mason stays the night."
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine grins a bit, "Well if you don't mind, that'd be great." He says with that easy smile, eyeing his sandwhich to find the best method of attack. After all bite the wrong part and you get sauce everywhere. "Is your friend part of the club too?"
Andrea "Yes, she's part of the club too. She's ah.. she's a good person. Just not very social." Andrea says as she takes another sip of the drink, watching Mason in line. Her chin props up in the palm of her hand. "Guest room isn't super big but it's comfortable. Usually I use it for my music because I sound proofed it."
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine grins a bit andshakes his head "So much material I could do with just that one line." He says in a playful tone, glancing over at Mason too as one of the customers in front of him obviously never thought to look at the menu board before getting right up to the counter.
Andrea Rolling her eyes upwards, Andrea takes another sip of her drink. "Don't go getting any thoughts. I sound proofed it for /music/, not for Kiss me, Kiss you, activities, that you like to sing about so much." Her voice takes on a teasing drawl as she gives another look to the line mournfully. "Now I feel bad for sending him to get me a wrap. I should have just got something else."
Erika Kristasdottir Erika Kristasdottir is out and about. Black Converse with neon hashtag lacing, black jeggings, black shoulder bag, red denim jacket worn open over a yellow Halestorm band shirt, and black leather gloves. Excessive black eyeliner and mascara, and a touch of clear gloss on her lips. Earbuds in her ears, soda in one gloved hand, open with the straw between her lips. She hasn't noticed any of you yet.
Alex Valentine "Kiss me or Kiss me," He corrects the name of probibly his greatest hit of all time. He shakes his hea a bit, looking over to where MAson is in line. "You didn't, he volinteared. Ask for something different now and he's just stood over there all this time for nothing. Want a.." he pauses and shakes his head, "There is literally no way I can offer you a bit of my sausage that it can't be twisted into a double entandre."
Andrea Grinning him, Andrea winks. "I know the name of it, just riling you up." She says as she gives a shake of her cup to jostle the ice, then takes another sip. Her eyes roll upwards at his suggestion, letting out a laugh. "I don't think it would be appropriate if I took a bite of your sausage." She flicks a napkin ball at him, then sighs. "Maybe the cashier is freaking out because she recognized him and she froze up. That does happen with him often."
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine half stands to get a better look. "Nope, just an indecisive old woman, a mother of four, and some teenages playing tonsel hockey between him and your turkey wrap." He says with a bit of a chuckle. "At this rate we coulda gone to see a movie and he'll be just getting back when we do.. If we skip the end credits scene anyway.
Mason     Mason finally returns, plopping unceremoniously down next to Andrea. "Your wrap," he says, dropping it down. "I swear, that chick would not leave me along until I gave her an autograph. I didn't have a pen even! He drops his own cheesesteak in front of him. and lets out a huff. "Sorry about that."
Erika Kristasdottir Erika Kristasdottir wanders closer, sees Andrea, and waves. "He-ey! oops!" She eeps and covers herself a moment, embarrassedly. No interrupty the business meeting! She smiles over meekly and looks around for places to go sit that she won't be Annoying Emo Kid(tm) at.
Andrea "Thanks, babe." Andrea says as she leans in against his shoulder, sneaking a kiss to his cheek. "I had a pen on me, I coulda hooked you up. Never leave home without it." Chuckling, she says, "So, hey, Alex is going to crash at my place for a few days until he gets into his new place. You're welcome to stay too. You two can have the guest room, Laura and I can hang out in the master. Will be fun. Can do pizza tonight." At the sound of Erika's voice, she looks upwards, then lifts a hand and waves. "Hey." She calls over with a smile. "Alex, that's one of our classmates."
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine grins a bit at MAson's comment and then smiles as Erika makes polite introductions. "Any friend of Andi's." He says with a shrug. "Alex Valentine, nice to meet you." using the name that most people...in the world... know him by.
Mason     Mason grins, "Or you and I could do the master, and Alex and Laura could do the guest," he suggests with an eyebrow waggle. "She's a great girl," he addes to Alex. He glances up to see Erika, and gives a friendly inverted nod, and a head tilt for her to come join them.
Erika Kristasdottir Erika Kristasdottir oohs! "Hey! I'm Erika, nice to meet you." She offers a black gloved hand to shake. Smile, eyes flick to Mason, Alex, Andrea... "So wait, did I miss something?"
Andrea "No, Mason. He's not going to sleep in the same room as Laura." Andrea laughs. "And you /know/ why that would not be a good idea." She jabs him in the ribs. To Erika, she shakes her head. "Alex and I go way back on Disney and he just moved to New York, so he's going to crash with me for a few days until he gets his apartment up."
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine rolls his eyes and says, "And believe it or not MAson, some guys don't like to just jump into bed with random women. Women who they don't even know the last name of at this point." Nerve apparently touched. He takes a bite of his sandwhich and sips his drink, turning to add "Us refugies of the Cult of Walt have to stick together, or we all end up pulling a Cyrus or a Spears."
Erika Kristasdottir Erika Kristasdottir headtilts, listening. "Right, right, bubblegum stuff. Got it. I.. yeah, and he obviously can't stay with ME.." She shrugs a little. "I mean.. Nevermind." She frowns some.

"Laura is kind of, you know. Weird. Is he...?" She gestures at Alex awkwardly, then looks up at Andrea.
Mason     "I'm just kidding!" Mason defends himself to both Andy and Alex. "His phone alarm goes off. "Oops, that's my cue. Sorry to have to run Erika, good to see you! He hops up, taking his cheesesteak with him. "See you all later!"
Andrea "See ya later, babe." Andrea says to Mason, looking amused as she props her chin up in the palm of her hand. "Laura isn't weird. She's just not very social like most of us are. She's a loner, that's all. Annnnd... that's right, you're staying with us now too. Huh. Geez, I take one weekend trip to Gotham and I forget my head." She taps the side of her skull. "Sorry Alex, you're still stuck at a hotel." She says with a grin. "I"m sure it's one of the nice ones though. Which is it?"
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine shrugs a bit, "It's a nice one" he agrees, still apparently a bit ticked off at MAson's implication apparently. He takes a bite of his sandwhich again and smirks a little at Erika's assement. "Yeah, prettty much. But it's fun, it makes you move, and thats the important part right Andi?" he asks with a smile.
Erika Kristasdottir Erika Kristasdottir nods, "Yeah, and we need the space for the big lego helicopter, anyways." Random statements R'us. She adjusts the straw between her lips and sucks up some soda. Sluuurp. Weird way to drink a soda, but she's a weird girl. "How was that trip anyway?"
Andrea "Well, we can still do dinner and movies tonight if you want." Andrea says to Alex with a grin. "Though now I'm not sure if Mason is gonna get tied up with whatever his agent wanted, but if anything we can just go out together and hook up with him later." She takes another bite of her wrap hungrily, chews, swallows. "Trip was fine. Just a concert. Was a stay over. Performed at the Wayne stadium. Wsa pretty fun actually, they got a nice set up. I have one in Metropolis next week so that will be killer. I love going there."
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine grins a bit, "Just don't do what I did last year and make a Batman joke in Metroplis. It's like driving pas a theater where a dozen nerds are waiting for the first showing of the new Star Wars Movie and yelling 'Star Trek sucks', at them. They will get even more annoyed that you got that part wrong then that you were trying to troll them in the first place."
Erika Kristasdottir Erika Kristasdottir slurps quietly. She doesn't really know what to sy to that. At all. Neither is her stomping grounds.
Andrea "Oh? Are they super nerds about Batman versus Superman? Pff.. Dazzler is master race." Andrea says with a laugh as she evokes the name of her idol. "It's like screaming about Andrea versus Mason." She says with an amused grin. "Or... Alex aaaaaannnnnnd.... Crystal." She teases him, brows lift.
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine smirks a bit and rolls his eyes slightly, "There was never an Alex and Crystal off set of 'Be My Valentine." he says with a smirk, shaking his head. "Pretty sure she wasn't into guys anyway. I mean I know for a fact she's had more girlfriends since we wrapped then I have."
Erika Kristasdottir Erika Kristasdottir tilts her head, "Team Mason here. Sorry, Drea. Who's Crystal?" She waggles the straw between her lips, then pokes it down into the cup and sips some more and listens. "And am I likely to be meeting her any time soon?"
Andrea "It's okay, I know which team Mason is on." Andrea says as she gives a stretch. "Crystal was on a Disney show with Alex. I don't think you're going to meet her anytime soon. She lives in Hollywood and is doing modeling. Still acting too I think on a soap opera."
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine chuckles a bit and says "We had this whole flirty banter thing going on for the last two seasons, but it was always my character, who was also named Alex, seeing or hearing something and taking it out of Context or Niamoi's character Crystal doing the same thing. They literally did not even kiss untill the last episode. And then we had to do it for like, 3 hours straight cause the directer did retake after retake." He then nods to Andrea, "Yeah, Days of our Lives. She was just kidnapped or something."
Erika Kristasdottir Erika Kristasdottir blinks at Andrea, then stares resolutely into her soda with a frown. Without looking up, she murmurs, "On the show, not, like, realy kidnapped, right?" She crinkles her nose a little. "I'm not even sure how I would manage that. I like.. don't think I'm very good at faking kisses. I mean, THEY didn't complain. But I probably made a face or something."
Andrea "Yeah, she got kidnapped on the show." Andrea says with a nod of her head. "Someone is always getting kidnapped on Days of our Lives. It's the trope there. It's always an ex boyfriend that you never heard of, then he gets redeemed, blah blalh blah." She props her chin up again in her hand. At the topic of kissing, she shrugs. "For me, I just put myself in my character and I go for it. Then they say cut and I just shrug it off. I just won't do anything sexual like hands up the clothes or grinding or extended making out scenes. Got that in the contracts."
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine nods a bit and agrees, "Yeah it's actully going to turn out to be her current Boyfriend's brother who is in love with her. She'll get free, but then in a month or so "Oh no, she's pregnant! Is it Eric's or is it Tony's!" he rolls his eyes and laughs. "I've never had a problem with the whole stage kissing thing. For me I look at it like getting a free sample of something I wouldn't buy, but wouldn't mind tasteing."
Erika Kristasdottir Erika Kristasdottir nods some. "Yeah, I don't know. It's always been a bit like "Wait, that's it? Isn't this supposed to be, you know. Batteries and froom and stuff. But it's just uncomfortable. I don't really get it. And everybody acts like it's the second greatest thing. I'd rather have pizza."
Andrea "... Kissing is like .. .batteries and froom?" Andrea trails off as she glances to Alex, then back to Erika. ".. I don't know what kinda kisses you've watched on TV but I haven't kissed someone that tasted like a battery.. I dunno..." She finishes the last bite of her wrap, then swipes a napkin along her lips. "It's starting to get late though." She says as she glances down at her phone.
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine chuckles, "I think she means you're supposed to get a tingle and a spark." He shrugs a bit adding to Erika, "But that's all about chemistry really. IF you got compatable chemistry, a good kiss will knock your socks off. If you don't you are just swapping spit for 35 takes."
Erika Kristasdottir Erika Kristasdottir points at Alex. "Yeah! That. I don't want to be tasting spit anymore, I don't think I can pretend to like it very well for a camera. I mean, I could probably work around that, I guess..."
Andrea "You don't necessarily need to slide your tongue in someone's mouth. It can be just a peck." Andrea glances over to Alex, giving a nod of her head. "If he and I kissed on set, it wouldn't be like high school where we'd have our mouths wide open and being all weird. TV kisses is like ..." She pauses. "It's like a firm press, a breath, then you lean back. Camera does the rest of the work with angles to make it more saucy than it appears."
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine nods his agreement. "Very very little tounge action actully," he agrees. "I mean your tounge is a muscle that doesn't get exercized allot. Seriously I remember this one girl who actully got a tounge cramp from too many kissing scenes. Can you imagine that. A cramp. In your tounge..."
Erika Kristasdottir Erika Kristasdottir nods, "Yeah, those are gross. I should probably head back, I got hungry after checking some garage sales. I didn't find much though.. I mean, you know. It was worth a try. Uh.." She looks horrified at Alex. "Okay, I need some alone time to purge that mental image. Eeew.."
Andrea "Cool, see you later, Erika." Andrea says as she slides up to pluck up the tray and angles herself to a garbage can near by to deposit her empty cup and wrapper. She glances down at her phone and replies to a text, then gives a look over to Alex. "Ready when you are."
Alex Valentine Alex Valentine nods a bit and picks up Andrea's bags for her since she was so kind to dispose of the garbage. "Nice meeting you Erika." He comments with a grin, then adds in a ring like whisper "Tounge...cramp..."
Erika Kristasdottir Erika Kristasdottir looks horrified, and flees politely, with a hasty wave. "Eeep. Right, bye!"
