Owner Pose
Damian Wayne      Nighttime in Gotham, of course, and Robin had found his place here, watching the animals.

Watching the lions, he seems calmer, though it had been a bit sad, the lions in an enclosure.

Meanwhile, in the adjacent Reptile House, a group of individuals were wrangling up various venomous snakes to harvest their venom. They had been silent for now, but the lions seem to be pacing now, Something was up.
Sam Alexander     The young Nova was hanging out on the east coast tonight, with a notepad in one hand and his backpack leaning against his black and gold armor. His legs are dangling from the tree branch as Sam wears his helmet and has the eraser end of a pencil in between his teeth. Sitting at the top of a tree, Sam is carefully watching the tigers in the Gotham zoo while taking notes about them for a school project he's supposed to be working on. In the helmet he has one ear on the police scanner, "Thanks for the tip." He says to no one as he pulls the pencil out of his mouth to jot some more lines on the pad.
Damian Wayne      Robin and Nova would be alerted on their respective police scanners to a break in at the Gotham Zoo, specifically the Reptile House. A twist of his wrist and the gauntlet computer shows the location of the ingress.

Damian had started making his way to the nearby Reptile House. After all that's happened at Titans Tower recently, Damian has been staying around Gotham.

Inside, three men dressed in black were attempting to wrangle snakes into small cages. "You hear how much all these are gonna get us? Medical companies pay top dollar for this venom."
Sam Alexander     "Hey, that's where I'm- Oh." Sam say to no one as he realizes what's what and he tosses the notepad and pencil in his backpack. Standing on the air, he hooks the strap on to a branch before he zooms out of the enclosure and goes down to a 'you are here' map.

"I'm here... so the sneks n stuff would be..."
    FWOOOM!
Sam lands on the ground next to the reptile zone a few moments later after buzzing by a few times while trying to find it. "Heya turds, I don't have a snake pun yet, but, one's coming." The short Nova says as he stands up, his chest out and looking as 'big' as he can.
Damian Wayne      The snake thieves turn and watch Nova as he makes himself known. Almost immediately after he introduces himself, a hail of gunfire erupts from two of the thieves.

Robin had joined the fray, noting the other short hero before he throws a couple batarangs at one gun-welding thief.
Sam Alexander     Nova jumps and flies up as soon as the guns are leveled at him. "Whoa! Thats dangerous!" He says as he zooms around and through the air before quickly circling back and brings his hands forwards to blast blue beams at the gunmen, "Why do you have guns to grab snakes anyways?" Sam asks semi-hypothetically.
Damian Wayne      The two gun wielding guys go down quite easily as the energy blasts ring out. Along with the battering of batarangs Robin threw.

The small sidekick looks over to Nova before he rolls his eyes a bit. "Because it's Gotham. Everyone has guns." A couple of snakes slithered out, but Robin had a quick thought and grabbed for the snake hook, working to wrangle them all at least so that they weren't harmed, or worse, they bite one of the GCPD that were en route. "Who are you?" He asks, not having seen this other guy before.
Sam Alexander     "Oh, Gotham's that bad?" Nova asks, his large helmet cocking to one side as he looks down at the gunmen and then to the snakes.

"I- I'm Nova and I'm kinda new to this whole hero thing." The black clad space cop says with a smirk before he watches Damian get the snake hook and starts looking around for another one. "Should we ties these guys up or something?" Sam says, nudging one with his foot as he asks.
Damian Wayne      "Nearly that bad." Damian throws three sets of zip ties at Nova, lowering one snake back into its enclosure. "Go for it."

Nova gets a bit more of a nod from Robin. "How new?" He asks, the space cop seems to know more than others he has seen recently.
Sam Alexander     Sam catches the zipties and looks them over real fast so he can see how they work and lowering down he quickly starts to hogtie the three goons with their wrists and ankles bound together. "Like that?" Sam asks, taking a step back and giving Damian a look as he looks up to count the days, "At least, two weeks." Sam says but his knowledge of super heroes has kind of helped as well as the awesome power of the Nova force makes him no joke.
Damian Wayne      Robin looks over the Black Mamba enclosure, and sees that it was still closed and secured. "Well, that's at least something. Two weeks?!"

Robin gives a sigh as he approaches the young hero. "Yes, that's correct. The police are on their way. Unless you want to stick around and talk with them, you will want to fly off.
Sam Alexander     "What're you going to do?" Sam asks, looking over the goons and watching Robin do his work with the confidence of years of training versus Sam's overconfident two weeks, though Sam does start to move towards the exit so he can make a quick flight out of the snake pit.
Damian Wayne      "Planning on getting out of here." He says in response. Once he is happy with the state of the snakes, Robin reaches for his belt. "You know who I am? Who I work with?" He asks, removing a golden disc, emblazoned with a capital T.
Sam Alexander "You work with bat-man right? You're Robin, or --" Sam shuts himself up when he sees the golden disc. "Whoa, this is like those things my mom used to listen too." He says, holding it up in front of the blue frames of his eyeholes in the helmet. "The Titans, whoa! Are- are you inviting me?" Sam asks with a blush coming to his cheeks.
Damian Wayne      Robin nods to the questions Sam asks. "You need to learn a lore more about this stuff. But we can help with that." Damian wasn't really one for training newbies, but there was an influx of new people lately. Perhaps it was a change of heart...
Sam Alexander     "I want to learn more about this stuff. If I'm really going to be a hero, I need all the training and help I can get." Nova says, taking the disk and slipping it into the gauntlet on his wrist as the safest place he can think of to store it for now.

The sounds of sirens approaching catch Sam and he ducks before he gives Robin a salute, "Laters!" And he bounds into the air before a sharp turn and the blue trails behind him fade away as he zooms off away.
