Rikki	Rikki has been busy. Between actually eating and getting her diet fixed and getting ready to join the Outsiders, The young speedster has been doing her best to recover. Whats more, she's been needing to do something very important. Thus far, she's been depending on her speed to disguise herself from onlookers but, sadly that won't do anymore. After a few hours of hard work, she came up with something that looks semi-alright. The color scheme is striking and definitely draws attention. Dark Violet with Gold intersecting lightning bolts across the chest. White highlights add to it. A simple domino style mask hides her face. The suit is based off a leotard with long sleeve and shorts like bottoms. On her feet, is a pair of cross trainers. All in all, while the design is good, she is most definitely not looking that great. At least the main uniform should hold up Quietly she exits her hotel room. She takes off running down the stairs and right out the door. It feels amazing. The speed, the Air rushing past her. Sadly it is kinda chilly given that she has next to no insulation in her makeshift suit. Still she is off and doing her best!
Professor Zoom	It's been a week since the showdown in Mexico left him without his original suit; the one originally from a time capsule in his own time. It's taken a while to create a spare with the same level of technology involved, and Eobard has been stress testing it in superspeed across the planet. Some people probably have noticed him by now, but he's not slowing down. Cruising at a cool mach 15 randomly around the planet for the last ten minutes has him along all over... so it's easy to see Arc as she speeds around the city once Zoom gets to it. A split second after noticing Arc and her lightning trail, Professor Zoom slows down to perfectly match her own speed. His own red lightning trail is long, and he's being very obvious with going side by side with her. To her senses, he's a Speedster with red glowing eyes and a blurred visage, even at this speed... and he's looking right at her.
Rikki	Arc looks at the strange speedster with the red eyes. It sends chills down her spine. So she does what any rookie speedser who has no idea who Zoom is would do. She speeds up. Her cruising speed was about mach 1. She amps it up to Mach 2. Its clear that she isn't as fast as she could be some day. As she goes, She makes not of the red lightning. Even her own lightning freaks her out. So seeing red lightning has her shaking a little bit.
Professor Zoom	As she speeds up, Zoom just keeps up with her. He's obviously following her... but he isn't aggressive. Yet. Where she goes, so does he... and from his movements, she can easily tell he's fairly experienced at this. There's no jerkiness in his movements. He's smooth as silk as he runs.
Rikki	An Experienced Speedster with red eyes and red lightning. Yeah this has her on edge. Finally she races into Harlem and comes to a stop on top of a building. Turns out she does know how to run on walls at least. Quickly turns and faces the vibrating man in yellow. "Umm Hello? Can I help you? you're kinda freaking me out." Honest and straight to the point. She doesn't vibrate herself like he happens to be doing. She doesn't really know how to do that so much.
Professor Zoom	He keeps doing it too. It's vibration on a molecular level that makes even using speed senses an incredible difficult prospect to see the man himself under it. The glowing eyes though... those are very obvious and prominent, not hidden under the blurring at all. When she stops on the top of the building, so does he, opposite her. Zoom isn't getting up in her face, at least... but she can see the arcs and sparks of red lightning dancing over his form as the man channels some form of Speed Force she's likely never seen before. This is someone new. "A teenage speedster. Arc, considering joining with the Outsiders at this point in time." Even his voice is distorted. Monstrous. Everything about this man is concealed under speed obscuring, "I was wondering if I'd run into you tonight." Zoom starts to walk over to her. No speed, and no aggression. Just heading her way, "You can call me Professor Zoom. Or Reverse-Flash. Both work. Your first suit design?"
Rikki	Arc blinks a few times. This is definitely something she didn't know about. How did this guy know who she is or about any group. Hell she didn't even know the name of the group she was likely joining. She takes a deep breath, "Reverse-Flash? I guess that explains the color scheme. Or Professor Zoom. Alright. Nice to meet you I suppose. Wait, you were looking for me? Why?" At the mention of her suit, The girl looks down over her body. It appears her suit is holding up at least. That likely has to do with the speed force keeping it from going to pieces. Her shoes might be slightly melted but thats pretty normal too. "Oh umm. Yeah. First real suit. Its not exactly great but at least it hides my identity... for the most part."
Professor Zoom	Once he gets close enough, he starts to circle her, examining it, "I've seen a few variants of it when I was studying the speedsters of this time." Zoom comments non-nonchalantly, "I can see the melting, and the rest of the suit looks like you have an amateurs understanding of your aura. That's something you want to work on if you don't want to keep doing repairs." Once he's done a full circle, he stops in front of Arc, and Zoom looks to her eyes with those red, glowing ones, "You're a bit of an oddity for this era. Most others get connected to the Speed Force with chemical infusion, but you received yours via wires."
Rikki	"Well, its my first time making a super suit. I've never done anything like this. I mean I've made a few outfits but this is just way beyond everything I've done. I think I need to redo this one though. Its a little awkward. I mean... There is no insulation in this. If I get hit in this outfit I'm toast!" She pauses. At the mention of how she got her powers, A sadness comes over her. "When the powerline hit my family's car, they jumped out. They told me to as well. Lightning struck as I touched the ground. It killed my parents and I woke up a few weeks later." She sighs. "I'm still freaked out by the lightning thing."
Professor Zoom	"It's easy to see. Speed Force use generates electricity, the more you use it. It's a natural by-product of channeling it." Zoom brings up his right arm, and the arcs of lightning speed up and intensify little by little. "We're conduits for the energy, and it has to go somewhere. If you know what you're doing, you can throw it as a weapon." He smiles under the blurring, "I'd recommend electrical insulation until you've figured out how to create your aura, too."
Rikki	Arc takes a deep breath. Seeing the display of lightning gets her heart rate up. She really has no idea how to handle this stuff. Quickly she tries to do what he's doing and... well it doesn't work. She hasn't the slightest idea how to do most of this stuff. "I umm... Yeah, I have a lot to learn. I guess I'm not fast enough am I?" She asks with a slightly sunken heart. "I guess I just need to get better huh?"
Professor Zoom	It's easy to see she's trying to imitate him. The lightning slows down on his arm, and he watches her. "Remember. It's not /you/ that's generating the energy. It's within you, and it's part of you... but it's an outside force. Concentrate, find that connection. It'll be like riding a bike in time, but first you need to learn how to use the training wheels." The energy speeds back up, "reach out to it. Feel it. It'll fill you up, if you let it. Let the electricity fill you. Let it make you part of the Speed Force itself." Zoom instructs her. "The second those wires hit, you had all the tools you needed to channel it. Now, do it."
Rikki	Arc continues trying to vibrate herself. As Zoom speaks to her she closes her eyes and lets herself relax. She reaches oout with herself and she can feel so much more than just the cold air. She feels the energy around her. Her mind goes back to her darkest day and she sees the blend of the lightning that struck and the power from the cables. The blend of the two that sparked this new life in her. She opens her eyes. Violet and Yellow lightning are arcing across them as she begins vibrating. Not just her hand like she was trying to do but her whole body. "Wow." Her voice is distorted as she speaks, "This is so cool!"
Professor Zoom	"Now you're doing everything at once. Going full throttle when you meant to turn it to cruising speed." Zoom points out, his right hand gesturing to her face, "The voice distortion can be controlled with vocal vibrations. In time, you'll be able to do localized vibrations like I do." He brings his arm down to his side, "It takes an understanding of how the Speed Force interacts with your body on a molecular level. Harnessing it selectively will open up many other uses for it."
Rikki	Rikki lets herself slow down. The vibrations stop. "Okay The speed force. Thats the lightning, the speed, its what pushes me to go all out when I'm running. LIke its trying to pull me. Flash refered to that too. Thats the source of our powers. What is it? I mean is it just an energy field? Is it a place or I dunno. I guess, I just kinda should have actually studied more in school. I'm not stupid but school was so boring."
