Jennifer Kale Jennifer Kale has been away from Riverdale for a while, leaving the apartment to Billy. Apparently there was some business down in Florida, or in some alternate dimension, that required her attention. She returns when Billy is out, scribbling a brief note on the fridge white board and setting a small duffel into her room.

"I'm back. - Jen"

Once in her room, off come the boots and the now barefoot blonde pads back into the kitchen to check the fridge for something to eat. Likely in vain, but she checks anyway.
Wiccan With it being vacation from classes and the issue of...well...a chunk of the world has fallen under a mystical sleep, Billy has been up late studying or practicing or the like, so he's also been sleeping late. Maybe it's the sound of the fridge opening or just the fact that he's slept enough for now, but he finally comes out of his room, still half-asleep, and in a t-shirt and boxers. Dark eyes blink at the figure standing at the fridge but then he points out, "I made some soup the other day. It should still be in the freezer."
Andrea The latest tour has been grueling for Andrea. She was in the news recently for being attacked by the Friends of Humanity in Gotham, which ended up knocking two shows off her schedule. Having jumped right back into it a few weeks later, she performed in Riveradle again, then decided to stop by her bestie's place before she would be on her way back to New York.

There is a light knocking on the door from outside as Andrea stands, wearing a pair of dark shades, an expensive pair of snug flexible skinny jeans and a Yankees sweater that is baggy and hangs off a bare shoulder. She is tapping away at her phone with one hand as her thumb swivels expertly about the large plate of glass. "Biiiiillly." She sing songs playfully. "Hey, I'm dying for some Chinese food." She calls through with an amused grin on her face as she waits.
Jennifer Kale Jennifer Kale shifts to look back over her shoulder, flashing her tired roomie a smile. "Hey, thanks. Classes going wel-..." Jen has already flunked out for the semester, due to her mystical distractions. It's a regular thing for her, after all.

She's interrupted by the knock at the door, bell-bottoms swoop-swooping together as she pads over to the door. Swinging it wide, she gives Andrea a once-over and then smirks back towards Billy. "Hi there! Yeah, Billy's just waking up. And I could also go for some Chinese food. I'm Jennifer." Yeah, Andrea has probably heard of the mystery roommate.
Wiccan "Were you in the 70's?" Billy asks as he moves towards the coffee maker. "It's vacation for another couple of weeks, but it's been going ok...except for the fact that half the world is sleeping." He's about to get it started when there's the knock on the door and Andrea's voice calls up. "I just got up! Gah..." and he's not even showered or dressed. "Uhm..." there's a longing look to the coffee maker and then the door and back before he gives a little growl and goes off to the bathroom to shower. "You two...talk. I'll get dressed."
Andrea Sliding the shades off her face to reveal the globally recognized popstarlet icon, Andrea gives a grin to Jennifer as she tucks the shades up on the top of her head. "Hey Jennifer, I'm Andrea. Nice to finally meet you." She peeks past her and spies Billy in the boxer shorts, snickering. "Those are cute by the way!" She cat calls over to him, then steps inside. She slides her car keys into her pocket. "And how the hell are you just now getting up? I was up at five a.m. with my personal trainer, ran ten miles, did my weights, even did homework, aaaand still found time to kick it with my best friend." She tips a wink to Jennifer. This banter is par for the course. "I also got you soooomething for Christmas."
Jennifer Kale "First, there was nothing wrong with the 70's." Jen begins. Looking back to Andrea, blue eyes widen a touch and she chuckles. "You're THAT Andrea, aren't you? The singer, I mean. And yeah, come on in." She gives Billy an absent hand-wave, although her gaze does lower to the boxers. Moving back towards the coffee maker, she starts getting it set up. "He doesn't function well in the morning... is it still morning, by the way?... without his coffee. "And I'm already tired just after hearing about your morning."
Wiccan "Don't go looking at my 'bits...' is muttered, albeit with a smirk, as Andrea comments about his boxers. "I didn't get to sleep until like...6am," is called from his room as he gathers clothes to put on after the shower. "I was doing research!" Is it morning? He has no idea. "And I don't have a personal trainer...and if I did and they woke me up at 5am, I'd probably turn them into a sloth."
Andrea "Too late! Already did! I even Snap'd them. Got a thousand favs in five seconds. You now have famous bits." Andrea calls out after him with a laugh, eyes rolling upwards. "Yes, I'm that Andrea, which really isn't a big deal unless I'm being shot at, or I'm on stage singing. When I'm off the clock, I'm just high school Andrea who is dying for sushi and a trip to the mall." She calls out down the hall. "It's almost two in the afternoon!" She gives a swivel of her hips. "It sounds exhausting, huh? My schedule is like.. a real schedule. It's pretty strict, but it's the price you pay I guess for being famous. Gotta run run run." She gives a grin to Jennifer. "Sorry for just dropping by and all. Usually I call ahead but I figured I'd surprise him while I was in town. I don't get over here often and I miss him /so/ much. I went to school with his brother Tommy. It's how we met and hooked up."
Jennifer Kale Coffee. Water. Empty the carafe. Switch 'on'. Jennifer preps the coffee machine half out of reflex while everyone talks. "Nobody's looking at your 'bits'..." she calls back, giving a little chuckle at Andrea all the same. She gives the other girl a conspiratorial look, then, and adds. "For the record, the boxers look better on *me* anyway."

A blonde brow arches, then. "You ...'hooked up'? Well, now, that IS something new about Billy." Jen offers wryly. Her blue eyes sparkle as if she doesn't believe it for a moment, of course. "I met him through an online ad for a roommate. But admittedly, our relationship tastes haven't been exactly compatible."
Andrea "Not that kinda hook up. He doesn't swing my way." Andrea says with an amused grin. "Sides, anyone who Googles me knows I'm dating Mason Steele. Someone has to date him. May as well be me. Only one who can put up with his shit." Flopping down on to a couch or a chair, she folds one leg over the other. "Which makes Billy the perfect best friend. I know he's not gonna look at my tits all day and we can talk about boys and go shopping and have fun without all the catty drama that is attached to hanging out with another girl. It's like having a best friend and a brother all tied up in one totally cute package."
Jennifer Kale Jennifer Kale shrugs at that, turning to face Andrea more fully as she leans against the counter. "Hey, I get it. With my night-job I'm sorta used to people looking at my tits. Which is why Billy is the perfect roommate." For a stripper to have, yeah. "I'd protest that not all girls are catty, but I've known too many dancers who are."
Andrea There is a slow blink of Andrea's eyes, then tilts her head to one side. ".. What is it that you do? You're a .. dancer? Like.. a stripper dancer or like.. a .. backup dancer?"
Jennifer Kale Jennifer Kale smiles almost lazily, making eye contact with Andrea. "I'm a stripper." she declares, not even bothering to sugar-coat it with something like 'exotic dancer'. "I also do... research. Sort of like Billy. It's one of the things we have in common." Unlike her dancing, Jennifer is a lot more vague about her mystical hobby.
Loki There is a sudden pressure magically as the wards at the entrance are very deliberately pushed on. A magical hand, in essence, just squeezed at the wards on purpose to set them off mildly: a mage's 'knock'. There isn't any physical sound on the door, at least at first, it was just the ward.

There is someone at the door, though only Wiccan may recognize him; an adult male, probably in his thirties or so, in a long black coat, warm deep orange woolen scarf, ordinary clothing otherwise. His hair is shoulder length and dark blonde, skin a pale northerner. He has a European look to him, and a patient- if bored- expression in gray eyes.
Andrea "Oh. I see." Andrea says as she blinks again slowly, then gives a non-too subtle glance down the hallway to where Billy is still showering and getting ready. She isn't magically delicious, so she doesn't know that Loki, or anyone, has shown up behind the front door.
Wiccan No doubt Billy feels the push on the wards even from the shower and he quickly turns off the water and barely dries off before pulling on a pair of jeans and opening the door to the bathroom...mostly dripping wet. "What was that?" is asked of Jennifer before he looks to Andrea and pads out, his bare feet leaving wet footprints on the floor. "Get behind me..." is started before he blinks and relaxes. "Oh. Uh. I know him." Grabbing a towel, he tries to dry off some before moving to the door to open it to the older magic-user. "I...uh...hi..."
Jennifer Kale Jennifer Kale's attention breaks off suddenly as she *feels* the magical pressure against the wards. HER wards. The blonde's nostrils flare and her head turns slightly towards the door. Making a peculiar gesture with her left hand, not unlike the horned 'devils ears' that are seen at certain types of concerts, she prepares a more personal ward. For herself as well as Andrea. Just as Billy steps out into the room.

"You know him...?"
Loki 'Leon', as Wiccan would know him, looks dryly at the towel, and at Wiccan's face, amused. "Do you need a minute?" he asks with a serene polite quality. "I know I arrived somewhat.. unexpectedly, but I did promise to bring you resources," says the older mage. He looks into the apartment and inclines his head a little to each of the young women there. His eyes are sharp and watchful, but he's very calm. He isn't doing any active, obvious magic, but even a cursory scan will show he's a mage, and has his own wards.
Andrea "Hey guys, you wanna tell me what's going on?" Andrea asks as she swiftly pushes herself up to her feet, her hands turning quite furry with black claws unsheathing from a partial shift. Her heightened senses pick up on the stress from the pair and as they move to the door, her eyes gleam as they track them. The Popstar cranes her head past Billy's shoulder, amused that he would tell her to get behind him, when she is clearly the 'tank' of this D&D party. When the door opens and Billy seems to chill, she gives a shake of her hands as they meld back to normal, then slips them into her pocket. She shifts some on her feet, then lets out a breath. ".. Maybe we can catch up another day, B. I shoulda just called ahead before just dropping by."
Wiccan "Oh! You did...yes. Uhm...wait, now?" If he recalls what the 'resources' are. Oh, crap. Billy looks to Jennifer, "This is Leon...he's also a mage. We're working on this Sleeper stuff and he said he'd bring some stuff by that could help with some of my research." Andrea gets an apologetic glance, "I didn't know everything was happening today! It's all right though. Uhm. This is Andrea and Jennifer," he'll introduce them to Leon. "I'm all right, I can just...let me get my shirt."
Jennifer Kale Jennifer Kale's heritage practically screams 'occult' to anyone with the appropriate senses, such as 'Leon'. She doesn't know WHAT exactly the newcomer is, but she can definitely sense his power. "Jennifer Kale." she offers in a low voice. "Roommate, not girlfriend." The latter in reference to Billy, of course. A brow lifts at Andrea's partial shift, and she files that information away for another time.
Loki "Ms. Kale. Perhaps you are more well known by another name?" 'Leon' suggests, friendly, to Jennifer, but doesn't press it at all. It's a mild tease, at the most, for the moment. He can sense her power level. He lifts his eyebrows just a little at Andrea, his gaze moving to her hands then back to her face. "Andrea Jackson, of course! I have certainly heard your music, hello," he says. He doesn't offer handshakes, but his greetings are pleasant.

"Yes, now. Where would you like them, and how many?" Leon asks Wiccan. "You do understand that if the rate of sleepers continues, everyone will be asleep in a few days, yes? So there's a bit of a rush job required on this matter."
Andrea By now, Andrea's hands are tucked into her pockets of her jeans, the partial shift having melted away as quick as it arrived. She offers up a quick, professional smile to Leon. "Cool. Nice to meet you." She says, then gives a glance to Jennifer, then back to Billy as she starts for the door. "Well, this sounds like a talk that us muggles won't really understand or need to be apart of, so ... I'll catch you later, Billy. We'll Facetime tonight when I get back to New York. Love you." She calls over to him, a hint of concern in her voice before she squeezes past Leon to open the door where her bulletproof black BMW awaits.
Wiccan "Andrea, are you sure? It's...you can stay, we can get Chinese Food..." although Leon's comment about 'how many' and that it's a 'rush job' has him looking much more serious. "A few -days-??" Back to Andrea, "Wait! What if you fall asleep too! I mean, this is kind of important for everyone..." but then he looks about the apartment. "How many do you think I'd need? I don't know how much room we have, but I guess a couple could go in my room...as long as they're ok on the floor or something?"
Loki "If you're strong, you could assist in moving them," Leon suggests to Andrea, with a slight shrug, but she seems to want to escape. "I don't feel like dealing with the wards here, so I'll summon them in at the door," Leon decides, casting his eyes around as if looking at the invisible spells.

"How many? However many you want, but I'm not going to come back and bring more. Then again, you may end up with more anyway. Nature of the beast, isn't it?" Leon turns to the door as well.
Andrea Pausing at the door, Andrea lets out a breath, then steps back inside as she nudges the door shut. She turns around to face them, leaning back against the wall and propping a foot up behind her for support.
Wiccan "She's very strong," Billy offers but then glances about at the room. "I guess...I don't know how many I'm going to need to try and see the web, but I also don't know if we want the place full of sleeping people, you know?" There's a look to see what his roommate might think about it. "Three? Five? How many did you bring? And have we figured out if there's a way to prevent falling asleep ourselves? I mean...like that."
Loki Leon makes an indifferent shrug about the number. "However many. If you don't want them here, you can teleport to one of the facilities where they're kept, I suppose. It really doesn't make a difference to me," Leon says, stopping near the door near Andrea, resting his hands against the tops of his coat's side pockets. "How do you not become one of them? Don't go to sleep," Leon smirks.

"By the way, my test was successful: I can wake them as needed," says the mage, as if this were not a big deal. There's a strange tone to it, which will suggest Leon is something more than what he's shown. An 'of course' indifference that goes well with a regal little lift of head. "But millions, going into billions as we speak, is not exactly as trivial as a handful."
Andrea "I.. have no clue what you guys are talking about. What do you need to carry? Like.. /bodies/ or something?" Andrea's eyes widen a bit, glancing back and forth between the pair of them. "You want me to carry bodies into the house?"
Wiccan Wiccan's eyes widen, "You did? How? Can you show me? Did they go back to sleep again?" There's another frown at the mention of not sleeping..."That's really not good for you..." to not sleep. Maybe he can figure out something but surely it's not going to be harmless magic. That's some major stuff, keeping the body and mind awake for days upon days. He then looks to Andrea, "People are falling asleep and not waking up and this is like...major populations. The entire world could fall asleep and we're trying to prevent that. I agreed to try and find the...web, for lack of a better word, between them to see if I can find the center or how to stop the web from spreading or...anything, really. So Leon brought sleeping people so I can try and follow their...connections." Sort of. "They aren't dead, just asleep."
Andrea ".. And why are you guys not sitting in front of Reed Richards or Tony Stark? Why are you bringing bodies to bum-fuck New Jersey?" Andrea asks with a frown on her face. "Look, I'm just a baby X-Man. I'm not like even .. in the same pay grade as budget X-Man. I should probably call them or something... right? I mean, I saw this on the news but.. I didn't know it was /that/ wide spread."
Loki "I don't live in New Jersey," Leon feels the need to say, but is still smiling. "This was where he is. And we're using everyone, I suppose, even the apprentices." It is not really an insult, more just something Leon sees as a fact. "This is a mystical issue, not a technological one." There's also a slight 'face' at Richards and Stark. Leon's not a fan.

"You're an X-man?" Leon then asks, looking very, very directly at Andrea with a new interest. "Interesting. I'm happy to talk to them. Magus Leon Wakefield."
Andrea "No, it was a joke. I'm not an X-Man. I just know a few who have helped me get control of my powers in the past. I just joke about myself being one since I seem to always find myself being shot at by racist bigots and I end up having to protect myself and others from them. I'm not a superhero, I'm a celebrity." Andrea runs a hand through her brown hair after tucking her sunglasses into the front pocket of her snug skinny means. "I can make a phone call, that's about it. If you need me to bring bodies in, point me at 'em and I'll haul 'em, but if your neighbors freak out about an eight foot werewolf in your front yard, that's on you my dude." She says to Billy.
Wiccan "Uhm...five? That's like points of a pentagram so maybe that will be a good start? I can get more too if it's not, but...that seems like it might work." Seems he's already getting some ideas as to what to try. "Sorry, Jenn..." is offered but he's going to start moving some furniture to make room for the sleepers to be set up in a Pentagram once they're inside. "Maybe we should...teleport them in. No offense, I'd love having an eight-foot tall werewolf around."
Loki "It's your ward systems that'll take the hit, or you can lower them," Leon says, lifting his hands. "I try to /respect/ the wards of other mages, of course. If they are set up to shred anyone that teleports in, those deaths will be on you, then?" Leon says with a twinkle of amusement.

"Werewolf is fine. I'll simply cloak us. Come," the mage says, heading to the door, outside of the wards. He draws a small stone-like artifact from a sleeve, and does a quick enchantment, flipping the stone forward. A large portal of glistening gold opens, and Leon steps in. A moment later he's got a young woman in his arms, and is offering her directly towards the doorway. Unloading. Like cargo.
Wiccan Deaths? No way! "They're mostly for alarming us...and maybe for holding people trapped if they try to get in. But..." Billy will loosen them to allow the sleepers to be brought inside. Unless he has to take them, he'll make sure that they're set up the right way. "We probably should order lots of Chinese food..." and that coffee will come in handy as well.
Andrea "Billy, you and I are going to have a long, long, long, best friend talk, about stripper roommates and transferring bodies from different planes of existance into your living room." Andrea grunts out as she looks at the hole that just opened in thin air. She sighs and steps back into the living room and starts peeling out of her clothes to reveal a skin tight black and gold jump suit with a black X in the middle of her chest. So, maybe her not being an X-Man was a fib. "Three hundred dollar jeans." She mutters under her breath as she kicks off her sneakers.

SWhat happens next is right out of a horror movie. The loud snaps and cracks of bones is heard as her body twists and contorts as it shoots upwards. Black fur sprouts out across her body next. What most likely is the painful part is how her face shifts. It has to break, visibly, for her muzzle and snout to emerge. Once complete, she lumbers for the floating hole and reaches in to grab a body, hauling it over her broad shoulder. She looks like she can yank doors off semi's, with how her muscles ripple beneath her pelt.
Loki Leon's busy; there's five people. "They have IDs on them, I don't remember their names," he says, as they 'unload'. "They vary in length of time they've been under the Sleep. The old man there the longest," Leon comments, as if he's getting bored of all of this. "I'll leave my contact. ...It's a phone, not magical," he adds, setting a business card on the coffee table. "Now... I've things to do. Good luck."

Leon DID take in the werewolf. His reaction is more of a little smile than anything else. The mage has seen, and created, plenty of weird stuff.
Wiccan "There is nothing wrong with my roommate, thank you very much," Billy insists. "And this is to help save the world, Andrea. It's not like I'm necessarily planning a slumber party for a bunch of strangers." Even though that's exactly what it is. As Leon mentions the ids and leaves the phone number he nods, "Thanks! Let me get some coffee and food in me and I'll try to get started, I guess. I'll let you know if I've found something. Maybe I'll set up an alarm that will let others know if I fall asleep." Just in case.

Andrea also gets a nod, "Feel free to stay if you'd like but I know this is all weird stuff. I'll add you to my alarm too so if I fall asleep you'll know."
