Vorn     Draal 9 was a particualr hostile planet. Hot magma peppered the world forming oceans and rivers. While the tallest of volcanic mountains held preciouse snow that water the feverent life within. These pockets of life served as way points for one of the largest Races across any planet.

An illegal race at that. Across the planet's surface several dozen high speed ships were slicing through the air at high speed. A few are lost from a magma explosion but most make it into the snow forest, to cool off their overheated vehicles.

The various ships slow down to take advanatge of this. Steam rising high through the canopy. It is in this moment...several other ships join the race. Some were decoys - as one held a rather infamouse Durlan criminal only known as the Broke, known for being able to steal tech, chemicals and other items of value from across the land. Even from the GrandMaster himself. Who has coincidently commisioned SEVERAL people to get back one of is preciouse artifact that was pilfered from his collection.
Gigas     Atop a nearby cliff overlooking the expanse of snowy forests ia large freighter ship, painted gaudily with scantily clad images of various galactic 'hotties' of humanoid form, if one was familiar with Earth lingo, it bears similarities in tone and style to a boorish uncouth semi truck with its owner and driver quite the fit for such a mammoth uncultured machine. Indeed, as the new ships arrive in the area, an incessant beeping sound begins which rouses a monstrously huge shape from its position of lounging within the ship. It rocks and leans from side to side as a great weight shifts about..and then the exterior opens to reveal the mountainous body of Gigas as he emerges out into the cold weather.

The cliffside rumbles under his weight but, thankfully, supports him and his transport, as he strides towards the edge and lifts small vision enhancing equipment up to his eyes in order to watch the new ships and their decoys as they enter the forest.

"Oh ho!" he rumbles, cheerfully and then tucks away the devices while brushing his hands off. Ironically, planet side, The Gargantua lacks the manueverability and speed to catch these guys but..Gigas..?

Obeying an electronic command, his ship locks up and begins to lift off from the cliff while Gigas crouches low. The earth beneath him trembles, cracks and then suddenly explodes violently into a massive crater as the behemoth launches with all the force of an enraged Hulk, and begins blurring across the horizon like a missile, hurtling miles with just a single leap and bearing down for the distant snow forest and the ships within...
Tyran'tar     The Guardians had asked for a volunteer to deal with this theft, legally and peacefully. Tyran'tar volunteered since his sector was quiet and it gave him a chance to distract himself from his military duties back on Tamaran. Dressed in the green lantern uniform he flies easily enough thanks to the solar radiation he absorbed from earlier. He usually flew without his ring's help to preserve precious power for the combat ahead. He flies down to the ships and begins scanning for this broke, a Durlan criminal. Lets see how many people notice the space cop amongst their ranks.
Vorn A few people of the ships did. Some began to open fire on both the opposition and the lantern. From vaporizes to lazors - on the bright side not all of them had the good equipment. Others who were more sound of mind began to zoom off away from the lantern, thinning the heard. Unfortantely, the world was just about to get rocked.

Draal has unsually low gravity, being a fairly large and hot planet gave it a unique terrain to say the least. For instance, a massive 12 hundred pound missile comming to decimate the planet...does a whole hell of alot.

As Gigas touches down, from the impact zone to perhaps several miles out, the ground just rupture. Massive hunks of rock fly up creating floating islands of forest. Magama ruptured, setting areas ablaze! And the ground rumbled angrily as if something was awoken.

Oh yea...and the ships were sent flying off course. Many took advasive manuvers, some crashing into very VERY, like snail pace slow, failing debree, or into each others. Other crash into the ground becomming stranded. Including several of the decoys ships and like the main one.

People surviving the touch down were exiting their ships dazed about what the heck just happened, and how. Of course...they were all armed to the nines. But that is par for the course.
Gigas     The galactic strongman emerges from the rolling dust cloud caused by his impact, to begin to stride deliberately towards the grounded ships with footsteps that continue to shake and rupture the region despite his almost casual stride. His eyes are wide and a grin is plastered on his face while energy crackles about his form. His muscles bulge and engorge. Visibly ballooning and inflating as his body grows with each step he takes. Eleven feet. Twelve Feet. The sound of his knuckles tightening can be heard as audible cracking deafening roars like the sound of sequioa's being splintered>

Fourteen feet, fifteen feet. His chest spans the width of a highway and force of the pectoral masses slamming together seems akin to contintnal plates grinding against one another.

Sixteen feet now, the giant grinds canyons into existence several miles away from his mere footsteps and lifts a huge hand up, tightening it into a fist the size of some transports. He pauses and then suddenl finger flicks the air. A loud *BOOOM* occuring as a shockwave from the pure force of the bruisers strength rips out from the air pressure caused by the flick - The air bullet blasting out across the landscape towards the nearest decoy ship.

"Come out, come out, wherever you are!!" he booms, waiting to see the damage caused by the air bullet. It's then he notes the approach of the Lantern. "Hmm? What's this...?"
Tyran'tar     Forcefields...boy he loved that aspect about his ring. He was also paranoid enough the moment he saw the rocket comming to strengthen his forcefield to resist the explosion and debris. As the dust dies down, He floats next to Gigas and he looks to the man. "I see the grandmaster decided to have secondary help. I dont blame him, the guardians tend to be somewhat more political when it comes to property theft." He says as he scans the various ships. The people who would fall into the magma were caught by Tyran'Tar and brought back up there with them. "Looks like I got a lot of people to arrest. How fortunate for me."
Vorn The booming flicker bullet from Gigas spashes the neareast decoy ship into smithereens. Forcing people to dive out of it or launch from escape pods as the ship goes up in flames. Luckily The Green Lantern was there to catch those unfornate enough to almost fall into Magma! But this cause an angrier rumble in the ground....something was comming.

Off in the distance...what seems to be a flickering black cloud at first glance, hanging low to the ground was comming towards them.

But that was only comming. Right now both Gigas and Green Lantern had to deal with the now onsalught of racers! Some pulled out grenade to hurl at Gigas specificlly, seeing as he was a massive target. One even turns what appears to be a lazor gattling gun on him!

And as for the lantern there was no shortage of bullet hell for him either. Many as they fired at Green Specificly where trying to run for any short of cover to get away, avoiding geysers of lava.

But there was one tiny problem...they were are Durlan. They all looked the same!
Gigas     Another problem looks poised to arise as well.

The hail of bullets explodes into Gigas but he hardly seems to react to them as he turns his full ire on The Lantern. "This is MY bounty!" he roars, "I didn't ask for help. GO AWAY or be SMASHED!" In warning, his monstrous fist clenches and he turns, looming fully over Tyran'tar now. It's a competitive world out there for bounty hunters and as far as he's concerned, he's no interest in splitting the reward.

Before he can say much more, a grenade goes off, flashing around him and blasting a cloud of smoke and fire all around. He turns, taking note that all of the attackers look the same and after a moment of consideration he crouches low, and then leaps straight upwards. His lift off explodes a violently expanding crater under him as he races upwards away from the cracked earth.
But not to high. Just over the forest tops at which point he descends downward towards the ground after flipping upside down to cause him to be hurtling earthwards while coiling a massive fist back in preperation for a leading in punch.

When he swings, striking the earth, it makes his previous impact seem like a firecracker versus a barrel of tnt by comparison. No doubt, seismometers are triggered elsewhere on the planet as Gigas fist alters the landscape and sends another shockwave blowing out away from him that cares not for the difference of Lantern or racing ships.
Tyran'tar     The cloud looked ominious to say the least. Not to mention the various people shooting at him, all of which are Durlan which means indentifying broke means it will take time. Time they did not have. And it seems Gigas isnt a team player. Still he seems to be bulletproof and with his attacks, more and more people fly into the lava. Tyran'tar grabs the people and encases everyone he catches in a green energy field to contain them and capture them. He also floats in the air to avoid being on the ground when the shockwave of that punch comes. For now he seems to be playing support. Maybe he will let him have the bounty.
Vorn Being in the air didn't matter much here. That was quite litterly a seismic punch! The first shattered the forest for miles. But this one sent shockwaves powerful enough to push the floating lantern back a few feet, as well as spread the people he has saved. Hopefully his will is stronger than Gigas' punch!

The rest of the floating forest pieces go flying off. The ground was begining to be covered in lava! The durlan who happened to have survived the blast - cause ain't no ship alive now, actually fling themselves onto any piles of green energy from the lantern they can just to get cover. Several losing their forms cause...yea the lantern seemed like the FAR safer choice. Though a few where hanging chain monkey style now.

However now the 'cloud' had swarmed even closer. And what they were became evident - they were WEREFISH! Ranging in size from 3 to 12 meters, razor sharp rolls of teeth in a double hinged jaw. They resembled a cross between ancient armored fish and modern sharks...except these guys swim through the air AND through lava. They swarm like piranhas trying to snap up any people running

Several decend upon the two bounty hunters. Unleashing collective sonic wails they burst apart rocks, and larger potential prey like gigas...and might burst the lanterns green sheilding as the seem to take note that they hold the goods as well.
Gigas     He may not want to work together but he seems to not be opposed to criticism.

"Can you not do more then just make bubbles! I have seen Lanterns in action before. Do something to get all of these ones you want to save out as one before you become to distracted!"

Gigas drags himself out of the hole and then emits a groaning cry of pain as the sonic blasts comes rippling through him, staggering his body and wracking his body with pain from the force of their wails. He twists at the waist and sends an upper cut powerful enough to trigger another seismic event hurtling at one of the largest of the ancient sharks, swats at another..and then crouches low and leaps again, this time in an explosive extended jump that sends him exploding out of the dirty smoke and magma induced clouds of debris and dust like a rocket. It contrails behind him, possibly along with any of the swarm following after him - but he attempts to clear the damaged battle area for more stable ground further away.
Tyran'tar     Tyran'tar grunts as he forces his will to strengthen the bubbles. He gathers everyone together into one large bubble and gets into it reinforce the shield. He takes a breath to concentrate on the shield just in time to have a werefish begin swarming and biting at it at all angles. "In brightest day." He murmers as the cracks of the shield begins to fade away, forming into a solid shield once more. Once everyone had securely been got, he looks to Gigas and watches him. "I got everyone. Get to your ship and we can decide how to turn the right one in." He calls out before returning his focus back on the shield and begins to fly everyone out, turning the bubble into a construct ship which begins to fly for Gigas to let him on board before flying out of there.
Vorn It hard to know if everyone has been gathered. But judging by the way those Werefish were swarming...there was likely a few lost lives, let alone the massive enviromental hazard of Gigas. But none the less Green Lantern must have gathered up a hundred people, give or take. While other ships that survived the ordeal flew off. Luckily the Werefish didn't seem interested in going after the green construct, seeming to prowl for any scraps left over

Gigas being a throughly strong combatant manages to kill a Werefish or two, and knock others Away. But their increasing wails pummeled him, going wel over 200 decimble alone, let alone combined. On the bright side when Gigas digs deep and leeps off, the Werefish do not follow. Some were halted by the force he exerted, but most seemed interested in scouting out easier prey than going after Gigas. As such he manages to land back onto stable ground and catch a break there
Gigas     There is no need for a ship for Gigas and this becomes apparent as the bruiser manages to summon his own ship to him while in mid flight. He knows better then to try and land on it but when he does touch down, creating another violent quake, his ship isn't far from him as it lumbers into view from a much higher altitude, having been surveying the battle and even recording footage for later review.

Frowning, the goliath turns and after taking a few seconds to pull himself back together physically and mentally given the pounding of the sonic assault, he looks for the arrival of the Lantern in order to sort out the bounty. Looks like he'll have to 'work' with Tyran'tar after all. He emits a displeased rumble but alas, things do not always go as planned.
Tyran'tar     Tyran'tar had turned the construct ship to a prison transport which had everyone in cells of some sort. Once the ship arrives with Gigas' Ship He links the two up and lets Gigas aboard the construct. "I dont mind giving you the bounty, as long as I know you turned him in alive. Lets figure out who's who and then I will let you turn in the bounty and I deal with the rest of the Durlans." He says as he keeps his concentration to keep the ship intact with life support active. This is going to take a while.
